   It’s certainly fall here in WNC. The predicted high for today is 59 and the low tonight is 35.

   I think it’s going to take a little longer to get to Las Vegas, though I could be wrong. The lack of deciduous trees hereabouts has thrown off my normal seasonal sense.

   That would do it. But, based on latitude alone, fall is there. My latitude is about 35-29-24 N and yours is about 36-29-24 N, or more than a degree further north than I am. I don’t know how cold it gets there in winter, however. It can get pretty chilly in Northern AZ, so I suspect it can get that way there as well. We’re seeing pretty low temps near the ridge lines about 4000′.
