I liked Ron Paul’s book ending the Fed. Looking at the Constitutional notions of protecting liberty and private property, as well as the empirical results of the last century, the Federal Reserve seems to have been a slow motion disaster. Too much power in the hands of an unelected, opaque few, say I.

A criticism of Paul’s book is that it’s thin on describing what to do with all the blood we save in a Fed-free world. Veronique de Rugy links to Cato Institute series to give some ideas about where to go and what to do when we arrive there.

Remember: the Fed is celebrating 100 years in 2013. Let’s do that with a bit of wood right through its godforsaken, undead heart.
