Elena Kagan’s Bold, Refreshing, Courageous Heterosexuality

Posted on | May 12, 2010 | 40 Comments

Y’know, when you have to get your friends to leak it, as if divulging a dirty little secret . . .

Elena Kagan is not a lesbian, one of her best friends told POLITICO Tuesday night, responding to persistent rumors and innuendo about the Supreme Court nominee’s personal life.
“I’ve known her for most of her adult life and I know she’s straight,” said Sarah Walzer, Kagan’s roommate in law school and a close friend since then. “She dated men when we were in law school, we talked about men — who in our class was cute, who she would like to date, all of those things. She definitely dated when she was in D.C. after law school, when she was in Chicago – and she just didn’t find the right person. However, she definitely enjoys penis. Totally into it.  Can’t get enough. Honest.” . . .

Maybe I added something at the end there. And the headline of the day award goes to Comedy Central:

Elena Kagan to Become Only 112th
Heterosexual to Serve on Supreme Court

This is good news indeed for Andrew Sullivan, who is ecstatic to learn that Kagan shares his love of penis. It’s also good news for Kagan’s left-wing critics, who are now free to hate her without fear of inciting homophobia.

Kagan’s uncanny resemblance to Harvey Lembeck spared her the worst possible humiliation. If she was kinda hot, the AOSHQ morons would have demanded video proof of her sexual preference.

Actually, what makes the issue of Elena’s sexuality a great story is that those on the right really aren’t bird-dogging the issue like the MSM is. So now, the White House Propaganda Office is stumbling over its own feet to ensure no one in the MSM refers to Elena as a lesbian.

Personally, I’m more concerned about her complete lack of judicial experience and her written words which make her feel and sound more like an activist and nihilist than pragmatic juror than her personal plumbing preference.

Not to mention her view on the 2nd Amendment which appears more “The Right To Seize and Destroy You Arms” than “Right To Bear Arms”…

And, in an amusing turn of events, Viewed From The Right have discovered that Kagan once worked in New York under an assumed name – Pat!

We still have no evidence of heterosexuality.

We merely have assertions that, should she be presented with a bona-fide offer, and conditional upon her acceptance of such offer, that she would be willing to enter into a mutual relationship with a qualified male of the human species, for the specific purpose of obtaining sexual gratification.

    Said relationship… bla-blah, bla-blahh, bla-blahhh.

30 years ago I had a friend who I thought might be gay. Of course we didn’t have the internet back then so since I was curious I tried an amazing method that I’ve heard reporters have used for years on various matters.

    I asked him.

    He said “yes”

Much to the shock of the left, I said OK and we’ve gone on being friends and remain so today.

The fact that the administration has gotten the vapors over this issue as have some gay rights groups is both amusing and self serving.

Frankly I’d ask her the question directly or if a person wants to be more discreet do the following:

    1. Ask her if she believes that the first openly gay or lesbian nominee would be a cause for celebration.

    2. Then ask if she would care to declare her sexual orientation. If she declined to answer then it should be respected. If she answers then we should take whatever answer she gives at her word.

That should take the issue totally off the table one way or the other, but I suspect the administration WANTS the issue on the table in this way, but that’s just my opinion.

Any nominee by this president is likely to be “unacceptable” politically to conservatives so I don’t expect better the question is this. Are her positions so outrageous that she needs to be opposed full bore.

Certainly not all gays are marxist. There are plenty of free market fiscally conservative individuals who happen to like (argue nurture or nature) sex with the same gender. It is an overstatement to call the gay agenda marxist.

But there are many promoting the gay agenda who are anti democratic progressives who share a lot of similarities with marxists.

Great, she’s not a lesbian … not that there would be anything wrong with that … the problem is that now we don’t have anything to talk about because she is so unqualified to be a Supreme that there is nothing to debate …

Roxeanne, there is always Sotomayor, and given the choice of a “hot” Latina from the Bronx or an intellectual Jew from the Upper West Side (think of John Podhortez) the choice is clear.
