Does the GOP Establishment Endorse Thad Cochran’s Bestiality Nostalgia?

Posted on | June 13, 2014 | 31 Comments

In a speech, the senile old fool distinguished Senator from Mississippi waxed nostalgic about his youth, when he did “all kind of indecent things with animals,” a practice he ascribed to the region’s “culture.”

Does the National Republican Senatorial Committee endorse this sort of thing? Are they pro-bestiality or anti-bestiality, or will they need to conduct a poll to determine their position on this issue?

Of course, it’s hard for the NRSC to condemn anything as unnatural or degenerate, when they’re spending millions of dollars to try to make Mitch McConnell Senate Majority Leader. I’d rather screw a goat.

In Which @TuckerCarlson Encounters the Feminist Meaning of Equality

Posted on | June 13, 2014 | 31 Comments

Progressives insist that this is “sexism”:

Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Thursday lamented that Americans are “whiny” about statutory rape and that when it comes to rape, boys are different than girls.
While discussing the recent case in New York, in which a female teacher has been charged with rape for allegedly having sex with a 16-year-old student, Carlson refused to believe that it should be considered rape.
“It’s ludicrous that we are calling this a rape. Are you serious?” Carson asked on Fox News’ “Outnumbered.” “I’ll tell you what’s wrong to this extent — he went and tattled to the police and destroyed her life. Are you joking? What a whiny country this is.”
Carlson went on to explain that underaged boys are not rape victims, especially if they chased after the older woman.
“You’re this boy, and all of a sudden you’re a rape victim? You pursue an older woman, and have a relationship with her, and you’re a rape victim?” he said. “It defies common sense. And anybody who’s being honest with himself knows exactly what I’m talking about. We all have to pretend.” . . .
When the female panelists on Outnumbered called out Carlson, arguing that he was furthering a double standard, he fully accepted that.
“Of course it’s a double standard! All standards are double standards,” he said. “Because it depends completely on the sex of a child. And if it’s a girl, it’s different from if it’s boy. And we have to pretend that’s not true?”

Tucker Carlson is actually expressing his own misunderstanding of the purpose of such laws. Why do parents send their children to school? What job are teachers paid to do? Certainly, I don’t want my children (male or female) to be molested by a teacher (male or female) and as a matter of law, it is irrelevant whether any particular minor in such a situation believes himself or herself to be a victim.

Furthermore, the advance of feminist “equality” and “liberation” means that women now are more likely to be aggressive perverts than was true 30 or 40 years ago. If a women’s studies major at Duke University can justify her porn career as feminist “empowerment,” certainly female teachers who crave the taste of boy flesh can (and do) find similar justification in the egalitarian rhetoric of feminism.

But maybe Tucker Carlson hasn’t been paying attention, eh?

#EndFathersDay: Is This #YesAllWomen Feminism or Another 4Chan Hoax?

Posted on | June 13, 2014 | 51 Comments

And does it matter?

Because I routinely check the #fem2 and #radfem hashtags, I noticed the #EndFathersDay hashtag early this morning and also noticed that some people called it a hoax by the gamer/hacker types at 4chan. But the hashtag was adopted by some actual feminists, who see it as a logical extension of the #YesAllWomen campaign — i.e., universal collective female victimhood, with all men as violent patriarchal oppressors — which therefore demonstrates how it is impossible to parody radical feminism.

Adrienne Rich, Mary Daly, Dee Graham — feminists have spent decades following the radical logic of their anti-male ideology to its obvious lesbian conclusion. The amazing thing is that in 2014 there are still heterosexual women who dare to call themselves “feminists.”

Because of the hegemonic influence of feminism among the intelligentsia, however, few college-educated women are willing to speak out against feminism, per se, so that many women who live non-feminist lives nevertheless think of themselves as “feminists,” but are shocked when they encounter actual feminist ideology. This was why so many people were astonished by Radical Wind’s declaration, “PIV is always rape, OK?” — a belief entirely consistent with radical feminism’s anti-male, anti-heterosexual doctrine, taught in Women’s Studies course everywhere, but usually concealed from the general public.

The logic that PIV (penis-in-vagina, i.e., heterosexual intercourse) is “always rape” derives from feminism’s Marxist origins, wherein women as a “sex caste” are collectively exploited and oppressed by men. (Friedrich Engels himself was the first to assert this in The Origin of the Family, Private Property and the State.) The Women’s Liberation movement of the 1960s and ’70s (so-called “Second Wave” feminism) began among women allied to SDS and the anti-war movement, many of whom were “Red Diaper babies” and, having grown up within the Communist millieu, eagerly applied Marxist-Leninist doctrine to women’s second-class status within the male-dominated New Left. Any bibliography of classic Women’s Liberation literature must include radical lesbian authors who understood that rejecting “male supremacy” required a rejection of heterosexuality. Yet between the career ambitions of female journalists like Gloria Steinem (who saw the “feminist” label as a ticket to fame and fortune) and the political ambitions of activists who craved “mainstream” influence, the meaning of feminism has been deliberately obscured so that nowadays “feminism” is whatever any woman wants to claim it to be.

Always, however, anyone who takes feminism seriously — either as a supporter or opponent of the movement — must ultimately understand that an ideology based on implacable hostility toward men is incompatible with any normal woman’s life of heterosexual love, marriage and motherhood. Do we have to wonder why Shulamith Firestone, author of the seminal 1970 feminist text The Dialectic of Sex, died a lonely schizophrenic? Was she a victim of the patriarchy (as feminists would have us believe) or was she a victim of feminism?

When feminists speak of “patriarchy,” “male dominance” and “rape culture,” they are not merely complaining of specific abuses by specific men, but are rather indicting all men as violent oppressors of all women. Because all men are thereby implicated in these patriarchal atrocities, it is impossible for any feminist to accept any male as an ally, so that feminists must not only reject heterosexuality, but must also condemn their own fathers as complicit in the oppression of women. Or at least, this is what feminists must do if they understand the logic of their own anti-male rhetoric. But logic and feminism have never really been compatible, and so we are required to accept intellectual incoherence as the essential expression of women’s identity.

If Hillary Can’t Even Handle NPR …

Posted on | June 13, 2014 | 42 Comments

. . . how could she deal with genuinely critical media?

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton got into a testy exchange with NPR’s Terry Gross on Thursday, as Gross tried to get Clinton to explain her views on marriage equality over time.
Gross attempted to get the former secretary of state to explain whether she had changed her mind over time on the issue of marriage equality or whether she supported marriage equality previously but felt she couldn’t say so due to the popular and political opposition.

She evidently didn’t think of the most obvious answer.

“What difference, at this point, does it make?”

Priorities!

Posted on | June 12, 2014 | 40 Comments

Iraq is on the verge of becoming a failed state overrun by terrorists, and the Obama administration has nothing but empty words to offer.

At such a time of international crisis, it’s comforting to know that the Democrat Party has its priorities straight:

Four Democratic senators were so appalled by George Will’s widely panned arguments about rape statistics on college campuses that the lawmakers reached out directly to the conservative columnist to upbraid him for his “ancient beliefs.”
In a letter made public on Thursday, Sens. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), Diane Feinstein (D-CA) and Robert Casey (D-PA) ripped Will for a piece that has been publicly denounced by one of the columnist’s own Washington Post colleagues.
“Having an ongoing interest in ways to reduce sexual assaults on college campuses, we read your June 6 column on campus sexual assault with particular dismay,” the senators wrote. “Your thesis and statistics fly in the face of everything we know about this issue.”

Yes, the most urgent business facing the United States Senate is a newspaper columnist’s thoughts about sex on college campuses.

Police Arrest Teacher, Accused of Four-Year Lesbian Affair With Teen Student

Posted on | June 12, 2014 | 95 Comments

Rebecca Diebolt, 35, was arrested Wednesday.

Orange County, California:

PLACENTIA — A Valencia High School teacher suspected of having a sexual relationship with a student was arrested Wednesday, and police say they are looking for other victims.
Rebecca Eileen Diebolt, 35, was arrested on suspicion of sexual contact with a person under the age of 18, a week after a woman told police that she and Diebolt had a sexual relationship that began when she was a student and continued after she graduated, according to a police statement.
The woman told police that in 2004, at the age of 15, she first “formed a relationship” with Diebolt, who was her language arts teacher and swim/water polo coach.
Authorities allege that Diebolt had “multiple sexual encounters” with the student, both in her classroom and at her home after school hours and on weekends.
Investigators believe the relationship continued until 2008, after the woman graduated and began attending college.

“The Emerging Menace of Female Sexual Predators”:

  • Kelly O’Rourke, 42, was sentenced to 10 years in prison in October 2013 for having sex with a 16-year-old girl.
  • Andrea Michelle Cardosa, 40, was charged with 16 felony counts in February after two former female students accused her of sexually molesting them. One accuser said Cardosa started having sex with her when she was only 12.
  • Nicole Wooten was arrested in February 2013 on charges that she had sex with a girl in 2005 and 2006, when the victim was a 12-year-old eighth-grader.
  • Linda Wallace was sentenced to prison in September after pleading guilty to having had a four-year sexual affair with a female student that began when the girl was 13.
  • Sarah Blessing, 28, was convicted in 2010 of having sex with a 17-year-old Catholic school girl who was on a swim team Blessing coached.
  • Jaymee Wallace, 30, was sentenced to three years in prison in 2007 for having sex with a 14-year-old girl who was her student at a Florida high school.
  • Amanda Michelle Feenstra, 32, pleaded guilty in October 2013 to having sex with a 17-year-old girl who was a student at the Texas high school where Feenstra was a dance teacher.
  • Tonya Drueppel was arrested in January on charges that she had sex with a middle-school girl beginning in October 2012, when the victim was 13.
  • Nichol Marie Phelps, 30, was sentenced to eight-and-a-half years in prison last week for having sex with a 15-year-old girl who was a student at the Florida dance academy where Phelps taught.

Not like there’s a trend here or anything . . .
