Rule 5 SundayThursday

Well, it was going to be Rule 5 Sunday, but then the internet died, and then three days of CPA exam madness got in the way, and the next thing I knew it was 0200 Thursday morning…
Laughing Conservative kicks off this week’s Rule 5 roundup with Lucy Pinder, while Fishersville Mike reminds us that the hockey season’s not over yet. Randy’s Roundtable takes a midweek break with Sonya Kraus, Eye of Polyphemus shows that Mila Kunis can be sexier with her clothes on than a lot of other women nekkid, and The POH Diaries continues that theme with Kate Upton and her Beach Bunny Casual collection. Zion’s Trumpet brings some Tumblr babes to our attention, the First Street Journal honors the WACs and other women in uniform, and the TrogloPundit gets not one but two posts about Valeriana Lukyanova, the “Human Barbie”. Elsewhere, Three Beers Later draws the line at Rule 5 1/2, while Dustbury has Lorianne Crook with Taylor Swift and Masiela Lusha.
Soylent Green starts the week early by studying gravity, then comes Monday Motivationer Malena, Tuesday Titillation with Shannon, Humpday Hawtness with Allie, Subterranean Snoochettes from Saturn, more Addie, Corset Friday – Have A Fit!, and finally some Overnight Awesome On The Rocks.
El Opinador Compulsivo distills two weeks’ snoochery into one set of links, and delivers with Christina Iannelli, Lisa Morales, Luisana Lopilato (with an unfortunate T-shirt), a high-res collection, and not one, not two, but three ladies to inspire pleasant dreams, followed by some morning exercise.
A View From The Beach has Claudia Schiffer, necrophilia in Egypt, Mila Kunis, a link between drinking and tattoos, and Carla Bruni.
The Camp of the Saints offers Diana Morales, the Rule 5 News, and Laura Prepon
The DaleyGator’s DaleyBabes were Kiara Asuka, Misaki Mori, Hayden Panettiere, Mayuko Iwasa, Kerry Washington, Minase Yashiro, Joelle Kayembe (with some Rule 5 linkagery), Momoka Kanou, Monica Artega, Salma Hayek’s new ad for Burger King, Amika Hattan, Crystal Bernard, Yoko Kumada, Denise Paglia, Yui Minami, Beyonce with additional Rule 5 linkagery; also, a post on offending feminists with Rule 5.
Thanks to everyone for their linkagery! Deadline for Sunday’s Rule 5 roundup will be Saturday, May 5.
When Do We Say ‘Up The Left!’?

Insty points to Treacher going on about the latest shenanigans at Wikipedia. It seems that it’s OK to have a page about Seamus the Dog, of Romney family fame, but no one need be bothered with talk of Obama’s dog consumption. Even though the dog munching is in one of Obama’s biographies, the dog may have been a composite of several species of small furry animals gathered together in a pot and grooving to world music. Wikipedia is great for scientific stuff, but goes high and to the left whenever a political topic emerges. This comes on the heels of Chris Loesch getting tooled on Twitter for offending the powers-that-delete.
In defense of these Lefty jackwagons, if you’re not paying the hosting fee for the service, you haven’t got much to say. Which brings me to my point. When are we going to shift emphasis from Wikipedia and Twitter to things like Conservapedia? While it makes sense to return to the usual sites to engage the Left, there needs to be some thought given to alternatives.
Maybe a Breitbart.com or a PJMedia could undertake such a project.

I’m looking at this rack of links from Reboot Congress, and I’m thinking: wow, DSM digs him some Lugar about as much as I enjoy cheering on ‘Gentleman’ Jim Moran, which is to say, not at all:

So, Will Lugar Be The New Murkowski?

Legal Insurrection points to some National Journal polling showing Tea Party favorite Mourdock in a statistical dead heat. Politico notes:
The Lugar campaign’s 3-to-1 spending advantage has allowed it to portray Mourdock as an untrustworthy tax cheat who has “sold out to D.C. outsiders,” practices “the politics of personal destruction” and “will say anything to get elected.”
As Doug Ross has pointed out, incumbency, if not the source of our woes, sure packs a heavy correlation with them. Next Tuesday’s GOP primary in Indiana promises to be a humdinger. The question on my mind is, if Lugar gets beat, will he run as an independent, a la Lisa Murkowski? I figure Lugar will, because hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
Richard Mourdock for Senate
Aside: is Twitter toast?
I Am Not Consumed With Jealousy!

I do not envy Paul Ryan’s perfect hair, excellent command of facts, sterling reputation, thick head of hair, political courage to dare suggest that Congress balance the budget before the sun burns out, or, for that matter, his rockin’ locks.
No, I am not jealous of posts like this. I just wish the pain would stop. Although, come to think of it, I may have a theory: Ryan has achieved his excellence by draining charisma from Troglopundit. This notion explains both of them in a single sentence.
Aren’t You Glad You Supported Newt?
Posted on | May 2, 2012 | 48 Comments
It was on Nov. 14 — when Newt Gingrich first emerged atop the polls — that I warned “Newt can’t beat Romney,” and further said that if, after the Florida primary, we were “left with a choice between Newt and Mitt, I’ll endorse Mitt.”
Thank God and Rick Santorum, it never came down to that, eh? By the time Santorum quit April 10, Gingrich had already made himself a ridiculous laughingstock, so that the continuance of his pathetic shuffling zombie campaign resulted in his final humiliation in Delaware.
Wait, did I say “final humiliation”? Spoke too soon:
President Obama’s campaign deployed an unusual surrogate to attack presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney in a new Web video: Republican Newt Gingrich.
The video released Wednesday, titled “Newt Gingrich: Frankly, not Mitt Romney’s biggest supporter,” details a long list of attacks by the former House Speaker on Romney’s business experience, Swiss bank account, immigration policy and accusations of dishonesty and an inability to rally the party.
Look, some of my best friends — genuinely intelligent people — sincerely thought Newt was the ticket to ride. My warnings went unheeded, and my occasional reminders serve only to increase their rage . . . at me.
Why me? Why aren’t they mad at Newt? Why make me the scapegoat for Newt’s predictable failure? Why punish me for having been right?
But if I keep thinking about it, the dark mood will return, and next thing you know . . . Well, not today. It wouldn’t be pretty.
Please, I beg you: Hit the freaking tip jar!

Preach it, Jon Lovitz:
Admit it. You know somebody who voted for Barack in 2008 who badly needs to come clean and repent of their silliness.
