BOMBING IN NEW YORK CITY
Posted on | December 11, 2017 | 1 Comment
A man detonated a small bomb near Times Square in Manhattan this morning. A suspect is reported to be in custody.
UPDATE: In what NYC Mayor Bill DeBlasio called an “attempted terrorist attack,” the 27-year-old suspect named Akayed Ullah detonated a “low-tech improvised explosive device” in a subway station, NYPD commissioner James O’Neill said. The bomb caused only inor injuries to three people, and there are currently no known threats to the city.
UPDATE II: Did we mention that the terrorist is a Muslim immigrant?
This is Akayed Ullah, the 27-year-old Muslim terrorist responsible for the Port Authority bombing. He came to the U.S. seven years ago from Bangladesh. pic.twitter.com/JMhU5mTbpl
— Joe Walsh (@WalshFreedom) December 11, 2017
UPDATE III: More details:
A Bangladeshi man reportedly inspired by ISIS set off a pipe bomb inside New York’s Port Authority bus terminal during rush hour Monday morning, sowing mass chaos but causing few injuries — likely because the “attempted terrorist” detonated his “low-tech device” prematurely.
Akayed Ullah, 27, set off the “effectively low-tech device” in a subway passageway just before 7:30 a.m., New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said in a news conference. Ullah, who lived in Brooklyn, suffered burns and wounds to his abdomen and hands and appeared to be the only person seriously injured in the pipe bomb explosion, authorities said. . . .
Ullah’s attack was inspired by ISIS, but he had no direct contact with the terrorist group, law enforcement officials said. When asked if Ullah made statements about ISIS, NYPD Commissioner James O’Neill said the suspect did make statements, but he did not go into detail about what was said.
Ullah strapped the crude pipe bomb to his body with Velcro and zip ties. The suspect allegedly packed the 5-inch metal pipe bomb and battery pack into the right side of his jacket, but the device exploded earlier than intended, law enforcement sources told The New York Post.
Bangladesh is one of the poorest countries in the world, with a per-capita monthly income of barely $100. You might think any Bangladeshi would be eternally grateful for the opportunity to live in America. However, like so many other Muslim immigrants, Ullah brought with him to the U.S. the same cultural backwardness that has trapped Bangladesh in permanent poverty, and acted upon his fanatical hatred of America.
The Racist Liberal Yankees of Boston
Posted on | December 11, 2017 | Comments Off on The Racist Liberal Yankees of Boston
As a Southerner, I enjoyed reading this:
Google the phrase “Most racist city,” and Boston pops up more than any other place, time and time again.
It may be easy to write that off as a meaningless digital snapshot of what people say about us, and what we say about ourselves — proof of little beyond the dated (or, hopefully, outdated) memories of Boston’s public and fierce school desegregation battles of the 1970s.
Except that Boston’s reputation problem goes much deeper than an online search. A national survey commissioned by the Globe this fall found that among eight major cities, black people ranked Boston as least welcoming to people of color. More than half — 54 percent — rated Boston as unwelcoming.
The perception of my native Atlanta was much better. In truth, most of what is perceived as “racism” is simply bad manners. Teach your children to be courteous — “Yes sir,” “No sir,” “Please” and “Thank you” — and also teach them Christian ideals of kindness and mercy.
Furthermore, we should teach children to have a sense of their own personal dignity. Treating others rudely damages your reputation, as the rude Yankees of Boston demonstrate. Also, being rude is bad for business. During the civil-rights era of the 1950s and 60s, Atlanta was hailed as “the City Too Busy to Hate.” Local cynics joked that, in truth, we were the City Too Greedy to Care — but it’s the same thing, really.
There was always a pro-business attitude in Atlanta, and the Chamber of Commerce didn’t want to do anything that would undermine the city’s growth. Business leaders were less concerned with black and white than with green, and Atlanta’s reputation as a friendly place owes a lot to the legacy of such leaders. It is a historical irony, of course, that Boston was a notorious cauldron of abolitionism before the Civil War, and that Atlanta was burned to the ground by Sherman’s army. The biggest city in New England, a bastion of Democrat Party liberalism, now has a worse reputation for racism than the capital of conservative Georgia.
Save your Confederate money, folks. The South will rise again!

Having spent half my life in Minnesota, I am invariably amused when snow comes to the South. People act like the glaciers are just a few miles away, and if they don’t obtain mass quantities of milk, bread, and TP, they’ll be trapped in their homes to starve. looking on helplessly as bands of Eskimos riding polar bears pillage their homes and carry off their nubile daughters. Speaking of nubile daughters, with snow you also get skiing, and sweaters, and Gil Elvgren paintings of girls skiing in sweaters, as we have here today.

‘An Open Secret’: Bryan Singer and the Hollywood Gay Pedophile Scandal
Posted on | December 10, 2017 | 1 Comment
“Since 2006 Bryan Singer has contributed at least $87,620 to Democratic candidates and committees. . . . In 2011 and 2012 Singer contributed a combined $61,600 to the Democratic National Committee.”
— Caroline May, Daily Caller, April 17, 2014
When X Men director Bryan Singer was sued in 2014 for raping a teenage boy, he called the accusations “outrageous, vicious and completely false.” This past week, he was sued for raping another teenage boy:
A man is suing “X-Men” director Bryan Singer for allegedly sexually abusing him on a yacht when he was 17 years old, a claim Singer “categorically denies.”
Cesar Sanchez-Guzman says Singer abused him in 2003 during a party on a yacht owned by Lester Waters, “a wealthy tech investor who frequently hosted parties for young gay males in the Seattle area,” according to a suit filed in Washington state superior court.
The suit alleges that Singer “lured Cesar into a room, shut the door and demanded that Cesar perform oral sex. When Plaintiff refused, Bryan Singer forced him into acts of oral and anal sex.”
It adds that Singer later informed Sanchez-Guzman that he could help Sanchez-Guzman get into acting if he didn’t tell anyone about the incident. . . .
A representative for Singer said the director “will vehemently defend this lawsuit to the very end” and questioned why Sanchez-Guzman waited to file the lawsuit.
“Significantly, when Sanchez-Guzman filed for bankruptcy only a few years ago, he failed to disclose this alleged claim when he was supposed to identify all of his assets, but conveniently, now that the bankruptcy court discharged all of his debts, he is able to recall the alleged events,” the statement from the representative said.
Exactly what does the plaintiff’s bankruptcy have to do with whether Singer raped him? This is an irrelevant smear to discredit the accuser. But what do we know about the accuser?
Cesar Sanchez-Guzman . . . said in an interview Friday that fear of being outed as gay kept the then-high school student from reporting the attack to police.
Sanchez-Guzman, now 31, also alleged that Singer boasted of being powerful in the film industry and warned him against reporting the rape.
“He smirked and said, if I say anything, he was very popular and could basically ruin my reputation,” Sanchez-Guzman said. . . .
Sanchez-Guzman said that he and his family had moved to the Seattle area the year before. “I was finding myself, having just recently come out of the closet to my friends,” he said, and began attending parties popular with other young gay men, thrown by a local tech investor.
He described himself as being “selected” by the investor for an invite to the party on the yacht, on which alcohol flowed as it sailed Lake Union and Lake Washington. . . .
He said he later told a close friend of the rape but did not tell his family or go to the police. His family was made up of strict Pentecostal converts who had sent him on two religious retreats, including one in which there was an effort made to “rid [him] of a homosexual evil spirit,” Sanchez-Guzman said.
He believed that reporting Singer would have resulted in them learning that he was gay. “That was not an option,” Sanchez-Guzman said. “I knew if I did, the consequences would be worse for me.”
This highlights one of the factors that enables gay predators to continue preying on teenage boys. Whether the victim identifies as gay or not, if he goes public with an accusation, the boy’s reputation is inevitably damaged. Is he gay? Well, no more party invitations for him, if he’s going to “cause a scene” by objecting to the advances of older men. Is he straight? Oh, sure he’s straight — nudge, nudge, wink, wink — which leaves him to explain why he was hanging out with gay dudes.
Saturday night, I watched Amy Berg’s must-see documentary An Open Secret, which specifically focused on the gay pedophile culture in Hollywood, including the notorious Digital Entertainment Network scandal, which was involved in the 2014 lawsuit against Singer. There is a reason why Berg’s documentary has never been shown on TV, and it’s the same reason why the phrase “gay pedophile” never appears in the media. No one wants to be accused of “homophobia” or promoting harmful “stereotypes” about gay men preying on young boys, and this fear of offending the powerful LGBT lobby is, of course, another one of the factors that permits such predatory behavior to continue.
Political correctness is dangerous. Many journalists apparently believe they have a duty to act as public-relations agents for the gay community, which results in a “see-no-evil” attitude toward homosexual behavior. You’re a bigot — a hater — if you mention that some gay men like to hang out with teenage boys in a not entirely platonic way. And we know which political party benefits from this conspiracy of silence:
“In 2006 and 2007 Singer contributed a combined total of $6,500 to Hillary Clinton’s campaigns, according to the Center for Responsive Politics’ Open Secrets. In 2011 and 2012 Singer contributed a combined $61,600 to the Democratic National Committee.”
Singer has also hosted notoriously raucous gay parties at the home of film director Roland Emmerich, the London Daily Mail reported. In a 2011 interview with the Advocate, a leading gay publication, Emmerich described how Singer invited hundreds of “twinks” — slang for very young gay men — to the annual pool parties at Emmerich’s Hollywood estate. The paper highlighted a photo showing scores of men frolicking in Emmerich’s swimming pool.
It was at Emmerich’s estate in June 2007 that Hillary Clinton attended an “LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender) fundraiser event” for her Democrat presidential campaign.
Well, isn’t that an interesting coincidence? Far be it from me to suggest that Hillary Clinton is pro-LGBT in anything other than a political sense, or to wonder why Huma Abedin was spending so much time with Hillary while Huma’s husband was chasing teenage girls online. Such lurid insinuations would be . . . undignified. Also, I don’t want to imply that there are no gay Republicans. You don’t have to be heterosexual to want to Make America Great Again, after all. According to exit polls, Donald Trump got 14% of the gay vote in 2016, which is more than the percentage (8%) of black voters he got. Liberals would probably say the gays who voted for Trump are racist, and the black Trump supporters are homophobes. My hunch is they were all as sick of the Clintons as the white heterosexuals who voted for Trump, but I digress . . .
Bret Skopek (in blue shirt) was 18 when he posed with Bryan Singer and … uh, friends in 2014. https://t.co/mIMqURC9EY pic.twitter.com/hwqlN5rPIX
— The Patriarch Tree (@PatriarchTree) December 10, 2017
It’s a hateful stereotype to suggest gay men are interested in teenage boys, so I guess Bryan Singer’s ex-boyfriend is a homophobe:
One of Bryan Singer’s alleged former lovers has pulled back the curtain on his relationship with the X-Men director — a relationship that he says involved fancy dinners, set visits and easy access to drugs and sex.
‘It was a never-ending supply of cute young men,’ Bret Tyler Skopek, 22, told Deadline in an exclusive interview, in which he opened up about his year-long relationship with Singer.
Then 18, Skopek said that he initially met Singer . . . at a 2013 Halloween party a month after he arrived in Los Angeles, but that he didn’t know who the director at the time.
Not long after the Halloween party, Skopek said a middle-aged computer technician started texting him. Following a lunch, the man invited Skopek to his home, then allegedly plied him with MDMA and raped him while he was unconscious.
Skopek did not press charges against the man, who later introduced him to a variety of prominent Hollywood personalities, Skopek said.
In December 2013, he had his second encounter with Singer at a birthday party dinner that Singer threw for the computer tech at Nobu Restaurant.
Skopek recalled that Singer had boasted about spending $1,000 on the dinner bill that night, then invited him, along with two other young men at the party, back to his house on Sunset Strip.
Following a tour of the house, Skopek said that he and the other young men were ‘kind of chilling’ in the basement. Then, ‘Bryan takes us up, one by one, and gives us all a Molly [MDMA],’ Skopek told Deadline, adding that Singer split the pills with them saying, ‘”I’ll do half if you do half.”‘
After ingesting the drugs, Skopek said that he, Singer and the other two men started having group sex. The next morning, Singer offered to take Skopek to breakfast and then to visit Singer’s Bad Hat Harry Productions studio, where they were editing one of the X-Men movies at the time.
‘We maybe spend almost the whole day together at the studio until I take a Snapchat… Bryan gets mad at me and says he’ll have his assistant drive me home,’ Skopek said.
Skopek said that the December 2013 encounter was the first of many that involved dinner, then group sex with Singer. . . .
Skopek said that he ended his relationship with Singer in December 2014, after coming to the conclusion that their relationship was one-sided.
Skopek, who said that Singer had promised him a part in an X-Men movie that never came through, began to see himself as the ‘after-hours kid’ — Singer’s beck and call guy.
‘I was so depressed,’ Skopek said. ‘They would lead me on that I could get an audition. But all you’re good for is sex.’
You’re just a bigot if you believe homosexual men like teenage boys, so don’t believe Bret Skopek, who was 18 when he was having group sex with homosexual men — allegedly, I hasten to add.
Nothing to see here. Just a teenage boy, Bret Skopek, posing with director Bryan Singer, who is accused of raping teenage boys. https://t.co/mIMqURC9EY pic.twitter.com/B69KZ7JOeg

The Hollywood Rape Machine
Posted on | December 9, 2017 | 2 Comments
The anonymous blogger describes himself on his Twitter profile as a “300 pound entertainment lawyer who has been married six times, lives in his parent’s basement and has an obsession with digging up celebrity dirt.” While it is doubtful he’s that fat or “lives in his parent’s basement,” he is legitimately a lawyer in show business, and the dirt he’s been digging up has made him “King of the Hollywood Blind Item.”
A “blind item,” in journalistic parlance, is a gossip-column story that doesn’t include the names of its subjects. At his blog “Crazy Days and Nights” (CDAN), the entertainment lawyer puts out blind items and his commenters play a guessing game to figure out who it’s about. He has gained a reputation for impeccable accuracy, as his earlier items on Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey and Matt Lauer have all been confirmed in recent weeks and, if he maintains his 100% accuracy record, we haven’t seen the end of it, by a long shot. The wildfires currently raging through Southern California may be omens of a forthcoming inferno in Hollywood with billionaires among the casualties.
David Geffen, for example. Commenters easily guessed that a CDAN blind item about the rape of two teenage girls by a rock star was about former Eagles drummer Don Henley. According to the CDAN item, money from the music mogul Geffen was crucial to keeping Henley out of prison in that 1979 incident, and the rocker likewise benefitted from his friendship — through ex-girlfriend Linda Ronstadt — with California Gov. Jerry Brown. Also, coincidentally, Henley was a big supporter of the Clintons, for whom Geffen went “all-in” during the 1990s, so the story has political ramifications. There are connections here, and when you realize that Geffen was one of three Hollywood tycoons, along with Jeffrey Katzenberg and Steven Spielberg, who united to form Dreamworks in 1994, the possible fallout could be catastrophic.
What about Star Wars creator George Lucas? Most commenters on this CDAN blind item about a “permanent A+ list director” seem to agree that Lucas best fits the description of the pedophile with the “huge ranch,” who was friends with a “permanent A+ list singer.” If it’s not Lucas . . .
Michael Jackson, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas at Skywalker Ranch, 1982.
Go read the story and the comments and decide for yourself. There’s some pretty sick stuff there, but that’s not the worst story at CDAN. Commenters almost unanimously agree that this blind item about an actor who “molested and sexually assaulted multiple” teenage boys refers to John Travolta, and that it was his friend Kirstie Alley who, along with Scientologists, pressured him into a “beard” marriage to Kelly Preston.
And yet even that is not the worst item at CDAN. Have you ever heard of an actress named Heather O’Rourke? Commenters at CDAN guessed her as the child star who “was first molested when she was 5 or 6 and had continued to be molested throughout her hit movies and also on a previous show.” The story of what caused her death is gruesome, yet it was allegedly covered up by producers of the TV show where it happened (Rocky Road, which ran for 71 episodes on TBS, 1985-87). Now, the two men in charge of that show, executive producer Arthur Annecharico and producer Gene Abravaya, are still living, and they might have cause to file a defamation suit, if this CDAN story were false. However (a) it’s a blind item, (b) the guesswork by the CDAN commenters is mere speculation, and (c) the blogger at CDAN is a lawyer, who surely knows that truth is the ultimate defense against a libel claim. Even if the CDAN item were exaggerated or partly false, would the people associated with Rocky Road want to file a lawsuit then go through all the discovery, depositions, etc? Not if the CDAN story contains any element of truth, they don’t. Imagine a former child actress — one of whom CDAN cites as his source — on the witness stand, testifying about what she saw on the set. No, the potential damage to the plaintiff in such a lawsuit would be too great.
Also, nobody cares about a crappy old cable sitcom from the ’80s. What makes the (alleged) Heather O’Rourke item at CDAN really interesting is the assertion that she was “first molested when she was 5 or 6 and had continued to be molested throughout her hit movies.”
What movie was she working on when she was 5 or 6? Poltergeist.
HOLY CRAP, IF THIS IS TRUE! https://t.co/LCKI99jSh8 pic.twitter.com/ziS2Ghmg0O
— The Patriarch Tree (@PatriarchTree) December 8, 2017
And who was the producer of Poltergeist?
Well, it wasn’t George Lucas. Nudge, nudge. Wink, wink.
What’s that you say? These dots seem to form a pattern?
Years ago, when I’d complain to Andrew Breitbart about the corruption in Washington, he’d always say, “No, Stacy — Hollywood is worse.” The people who produce America’s entertainment, Andrew would assure me, are very bad people. Obviously, Andrew was right.
