Disgraced Hack Elspeth Reeve Decides to Double Down on ‘RAAAAACISM’!

Posted on | October 1, 2012 | 17 Comments

You will recall the O-Phone video: Woman says she’s voting for Obama because he gave her a free cellphone.

Elspeth Reeve of the Atlantic has decided it’s racist! racist! racist! to laugh at that video because . . . uh, racism.

Now the World’s Least Reliable Fact-Checker™ has checked her facts again and decided Patterico is the worst racist of them all.

Dubious integrity, a paucity of talent, an utter lack of humor — liberals can overcome all of these handicaps to a journalism career, as long as they can scream “racism” loud enough.

They are crying racist because it is devastating to Obama,

although in fairness the program started under bush

Did Obama add the cell phone provision? I thought it had been for emergency landlines only previously.

She and Scott Beauchamp lie to each other about how fabulous they are…but they are just fabulists.

Her plaintive cries are music to my ears. As a black commenter at Patterico observed, why does some privileged lily-white chick get to tell black people when they should be offended?

I like the ‘Rule Five’ stuff better, even if it IS pure titillation (so to speak) with little if any actual reward. Most everyone liked the ‘Page 3 Girls’ — even other girls!

Give Elspeth a break, she finally figured out why the Atlantic hired her, and it wasn’t for her honesty and credibility.

    Hack gonna hack.

Gotta admit though, Frey facing charges of racism for something he said just makes me smile a little.

You think he gets it now? I have my doubts.

Elspeth Reeve calls Patterico intellectually dishonest???

I care about this because I only have half a case of popcorn in the house.

It started under The Raygun with landlines.

    Patterico a racist!?!

Why that’s so damn unfair and uncalled for! A totally baseless charge!

Kinda like, you know, if a DDA called a Gonzo Reporter raaaaacist without any evidence.

Well, if you want more Rule 5 and less reportage & opinion, I think Soylent Green would be more up your alley. Almost certainly NSFW.

Ummm. That’s a teeny bit much. Thank you though. Of course it’s true that ‘Nothing succeeds like excess’, so Soylent Green will get lots of hits.
