Why Are Lesbians So Racist?

Posted on | June 5, 2013 | 42 Comments

Or maybe the question should be, why does Michelle Obama hate lesbians? A heckler who identified herself as a “lesbian looking for federal equality before I die” interrupted a speech by the First Lady at a Democratic National Committee fundraiser Tuesday:

First Lady Michelle Obama threatened to leave a Democratic National Committee fundraiser Tuesday after she was confronted by a heckler demanding equal rights for gay people. Gay rights activist Ellen Sturtz stood up and began shouting that President Obama should sign an executive order to prohibit federal contractors from discriminating on the basis of sexual orientation.
After she was contronted directly by the First Lady, the woman — identified as an activist with the group Get Equal — was escorted out of the event by security personnel. Sturtz, 56, reportedly shouted as she was led away that she was a “lesbian looking for federal equality before I die.” . . .

You can read the whole thing at Viral Read and remember: Only racists — RAAAAACISTS! — criticize Michelle Obama or her husband.

UPDATE: Daniel Halper at The Weekly Standard has audio of the incident.

Someone on “Ace of Spades” suggested that it was “theatre du jour”. You get someone to heckle you about a cause you already believe in and then get to interact with them. So she got her point out, Michelle didn’t object to it and came across as a no nonsense type of gal. So much of what happens with Obama and the Mrs. is scripted.

Yeah, this was all scripted Lol. What paranoia on the right. Facinating.

Not as fascinating that everyone knew about Michelle’s little routine but the official
    transcript deleted it.

Not as fascinating as the fact 35 % of people apparently believe Obama knew nothing about the IRS targeting. Fascinating,

Yeah…yeah…we were just crazy paranoids when it came to the IRS planting a question:

Actually the one that was scripted was Obama’s interaction about a week ago with a heckler. This one was probably real and Lady McMichelle cannot help being prickly.

“Scripted”? I don’t think FLOTUS knew this was planned. It may be that there were “insiders” aware of this (obviously pre-planned) protest, but FLOTUS wasn’t one of them.

She’s already equal. What she’s really looking for is a club to beat people who disapprove of her choices.

And your side thought that the IRS deliberately harassing conservative non-profits was paranoia as recently as March.

Some Lesbians are nice. Cynthia Yockley grows tomatoes. She is nice. She even calls into the Rush Limbaugh Show (I think Steyn was guest hosting that day). Why can’t these lesbians be like her? Of course, she might question Lady MacMichelle too and I suppose that would trigger the Queen Obama’s rancor.

I have a question that I’ve not been able to find an answer to:

When did homosexuals become a protected group under the federal Equal Rights Laws? Can anyone point me to the appropriate Public Law so that I might read it for myself?

Agree, she seemed surprised and ticked off. If it were “scripted” they wouldn’t edit out her threat to leave.

Off the topics of lesbian racism and racist lesbianism, but I felt like other things intruded on “Annoy A Feminist Week” this year, but the last week or so is making up for it.

Sure, some of the feminists haven’t been annoyed, but those that have really came through with the full Steamboat Sundae with Bat Guano Crazy topping and extra nuts.

Keep squawking, gals, we love it!

That’s what happens when Lesbians define themselves as humans, or women or Americans or gardeners or all the other fine qualities they have rather than just defining themselves by their sexual orientation or preferences and assuming that gives them more rights or importance.
As an aside, I’m thinking “hate” laws made especially for them could be more of a definition of their temperament. The rest of us couldn’t possibly be worthy of that same kind of added protection under the law. So hey, since Kate sexually abused that young lady, if she really is a lesbian does that also make it a hate crime? (nah, only if the ACLU were on the victims side.)

Thoroughly scripted. Which state will give Michelle Obama the obligatory US Senatorship? California or Illinois? This is her opening act for that campaign.

    2009:

“The Matthew Shepard and James Byrd, Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act, also known as the Matthew Shepard Act, is an American Act of Congress, passed on October 22, 2009,[1] and signed into law by President Barack Obama on October 28, 2009,[2] as a rider to the National Defense Authorization Act for 2010 (H.R. 2647).”

Here are the current laws and they do cover sex discrimination. No matter how else they would like to define themselves or their preferences, they are still male and female under the law. Making a separate law for a created subcategory would be like making a special law under the already recognized “religious discrimination” for witches and muslim ……they’re trying really hard but we’re not there yet. I’m thinking homosexuals would get better benefit from deeming themselves disabled instead so that workplace accommodation would be mandatory. That would almost be funny but…….

None of this will ever be resolved until Americans realize that:

No one is born a homosexual. People with a homosexual problem need to take responsibility for their psychological problems related to sexuality and find a therapist, investigate them and try to resolve them.

“I was so shocked- Michelle just got in MY face”!

That’s what the woman with the lesbian problem heckling Michelle said afterwards in an interview.

the nerve of Michelle! Because the lesbian pig was doing what before to Michelle?

  26. Alessandra
    June 5th, 2013 @ 8:31 pm

How this episode really should have been reported:

Breaking: ‘Recently “APA certified normal” and yet so very
dysfunctional woman with a homosexuality problem confronted obnoxious first lady Michelle – an intolerant bigot who just wouldn’t shut up and let lesbian pig heckle her into silence ‘

“That black woman was in MY face!” claimed the homosexual pig.

The woman recently certified normal by the APA is starting a facebook campaign for people to come together and send a message to tell Michelle not to be in their faces.

Reminds me of the practiced “kiss off” of all experienced con men. When the rubes get wise to having been taken, you have to make it the rubes’ fault and make your exit.

Your efforts over at the Independent (in the United Kingdom) while eloquent, noble, and well-intentioned were a little painful to watch… They were laughing at you! (No disrespect intended by me!) You came off as stereotypically “American” and that in itself was enough for them to ridicule you. (They did it to me too!)

I understood your point but I think much of you said was misunderstood or misinterpreted by that audience…

Just my opinion, and please forgive me if you find that offensive! I’m not trying to be!

    Hi Freddy,

It’s curious you should think that . They didn’t seem to be laughing much – at me or at anything really -few jokes or humorous jabs.

On the other hand, they were very invested in being obnoxious, in smearing, and throwing a bunch of insults my way than actually laughing.

Their comments were mostly the typical liberal insult: you’re a bigot (but I’m not); I’m good (and you’re bad); I’m not **racist** because I normalize homosexuality !!!! (but you are a racist if you don’t); and a lot of strawman arguments.

And then they always claimed they had stats supporting their idiocy, but for obvious reasons could never manage to post any.

It did get a little heated at times 🙂 Take a look at the comments from this Flora woman. Her head was literally about to explode. LOL Froth, froth, froth.

And it was fun to jab them about their royals! 😉 Liberals who are into royalty are a very funny contradiction!

  31. Freddy At Night
    June 6th, 2013 @ 7:43 am

The brits have an unusual sense of “humor” – the viciousness can be subtle… And most of them take the royals very seriously regardless of their position on the political spectrum!

  32. Alessandra
    June 6th, 2013 @ 8:19 am

Well, calling names and making insults is certainly not subtle – and I do know just how enraptured they are by their own Royal Barbie dolls, that’s why the jabs…

    touché!

    June 6th, 2013 @ 8:55 am

Look at this way… Go to the Boston Globe to post and make a crack about the Red Sox: even those who might otherwise agree with your message will turn on you or at best, just ignore you… It really would be beyond offensive to many Bostonians, even if they’re secretly fans of the Yankees.

  35. Alessandra
    June 6th, 2013 @ 9:37 am

Right, so you should do that when they are being really loud and obnoxious about the Red Sox and calling all the Yankees a bunch of names.

I think you are saying that I should try to persuade more, but I don’t feel like these Internet sites are the place to do community outreach- and certainly not for on-line Daily Kos type crowds.

Close, but no cigar. This just says it makes it easier to prosecute a particular crime at the federal level, it does not create a protected class. That we shall not discriminate based on race, color, creed, or national origin does not include sexual orientation.

  37. Chris
    June 6th, 2013 @ 2:12 pm

Again, and thank you for your effort, close, but no cigar. There’s not one word in this which creates homosexuality as a protected class.

    Which is my point.

  41. DaveO
    June 7th, 2013 @ 11:32 am

Closer: it is not what the law says so much as how judges interpret it. American jurisprudence has created a protected class. This law just gives top cover, and served as recompense to the GLBT community.

Hawaii is not a guarantee. They occasionally elect a Republican. Illinois and California can deliver.
