Lesbian Sex Crime: Florida Dance Teacher Guilty of Molesting ‘Hot’ 15-Year-Old Girl

Dance teacher Nichol Marie Phelps molested 15-year-old girl.

“Why are you so hot?”

That’s what dance instructor Nichol Marie Phelps asked her 15-year-old student in March 2012, immediately before pinning the girl against a wall and kissing her. The next day, Phelps sexually molested the girl inside a car in the parking garage of a hotel at the Orlando airport.

Last week, a jury in Orange County, Florida, found Phelps, now 30, guilty of two counts of lewd and lascivious battery and one count of attempted lewd and lascivious conduct for her crimes against the girl, who was a student at Universal Dance Academy in Port Charlotte, where Phelps was an instructor. Phelps was married at the time, but said she would leave her husband to be with the underage girl.

Jeff Weiner of the Orlando Sentinel reports:

According to an investigative report, Nichol Marie Phelps, now 30, cultivated an increasingly sexual relationship with her pupil in the months before molesting the girl in March 2012.
The girl told detectives she began attending Universal Dance Academy in Port Charlotte at age 13. Phelps quickly “took a liking to her and always singled her out,” the report states.
The victim left the academy, but continued to communicate with Phelps. Investigators discovered more than 550 phone contacts from January through June of 2012, the report says.
The girl said Phelps told her she was “hot” and discussed performing sex acts on her, and Phelps also mentioned leaving her husband to be with the teen, the report states.
The molestation occurred during a dance convention in Orlando. Phelps was crying in a bathroom after arguing with a parent and the girl attempted to console her:
Phelps “looked at her and asked why she was so hot and why did she have such strong feelings for her,” the report states, before pinning the girl to the wall and kissing her.
The next day, while loading Phelps’ car inside the Hyatt garage at Orlando International Airport, the instructor ordered the girl into the back seat and molested her, the report says.
Phelps was fired by the dance academy in June 2012 . . . after an “emotional outburst” during a recital.

Isn’t there something weird about this story? Does it make sense that a married 28-year-old woman who had never previously shown any homosexual tendencies would find herself overwhelmed by an obsessive sexual desire for a 15-year-old girl? Sudden Onset Lesbian Syndrome?

Perhaps psychologists can cite clinical studies of this phenomenon, but anecdotal evidence suggests a growing trend:

Texas teacher Amanda Feenstra pleaded guilty in March to having sex with a 17-year-old girl.
Kelly O’Rourke, 42, was sentenced to 10 years in prison in October 2013 for having sex with a 16-year-old girl.
Andrea Michelle Cardosa, 40, was charged with 16 felony counts in February after two former female students accused her of sexually molesting them. One accuser said Cardosa started having sex with her when she was only 12.
Nicole Wooten was arrested in February 2013 on charges that she had sex with a girl in 2005 and 2006, when the victim was a 12-year-old eighth-grader.
New Jersey swimming coach Sarah Blessing pleaded guilty in 2010 to having sex with a 17-year-old Catholic school girl.
Linda Wallace was sentenced to prison in September after pleading guilty to having had a four-year sexual affair with a female student that began when the girl was 13.
Kelly Ann Garcia, 29, was arrested last June after police say she had sex with a 16-year-old girl.
Tonya Drueppel was arrested in January on charges that she had sex with a middle-school girl beginning in October 2012, when the victim was 13.
Florida high school basketball coach Jaymee Wallace was sentenced to three years in prison in 2007 for having a lesbian affair with a girl that began when the victim was 14.

The difference between these cases and the Nichol Phelps case is that these lesbians had “consensual” teen partners, whereas Phelps had to force herself on the “hot” 15-year-old dancer. How long until saying “no” to gay sex is considered a hate crime?

I have said numerous times on these threads. We are witnessing homosexual “procreation.” The fact that it occurs between adults and children is indicative of the fact that damaged minds which to destroy innocence in order to fulfill their desires. They seek out the weak and take advantage of every adolescent insecurity. Parents must beware. The time is long past where adults seeking to supervise children in what heretofore were considered “safe” activities are to be trusted. Our modern “diverse and tolerant” society which is incapable of calling things what they are; of naming things, only emboldens these predators.

It will continue, I’m afraid. That is, until the justice implemented by my Ozark ancestors makes a comeback.

I don’t think that is true. According to this (http://www.sun-sentinel.com/os-dance-teacher-convicted-child-sex-20140331,0,3886228.story):

That doesn’t sound like the teen was forced. The only thing I can see that might suggest force is the “before pinning the girl to the wall and kissing her” bit, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that the teen wasn’t going along with it. It could be interpreted either way, but later events make it look like no force was used.

Feenstra, sentenced to 10 years deferred adjudication and probation. I’m just a ordinary Joe , I can only surmise that while our society expects men to be disciplined and restrain their sexual urges it OTOH, understands that women are emotional and irrational by nature leaving them unable to suppress their promiscuous tendencies.

Yes, there is something definitely weird about this story. I think part of the reason we are seeing so much of this is that lesbianism is being promoted – taught even – as the highest form of feminism. Woman who would never have considered acting on these urges, if they had them, now feel free, because feminism!, patriarchy!, rape culture!

The phone contacts might have been from a guilty or obsessed adult. Phelps was crying in a bathroom. Dismissed because of an emotional outburst. There’s not enough to say definitively but Phelps seemed to be having some issues. Investigators found 500+ phone contacts but who initiated those calls? Did the reporter without knowing who was placing the calls then write that the victim continued to communicate with Phelps? Regardless, children can’t consent.

It seems to me that, if the 15-year-old had really been into it, there would have been more than one episode. What I am guessing is that the continued communication was symptomatic of Phelps’s obsessive fixation. The girl wasn’t that into it.

Yeah, I also noticed the evidence that Phelps was kind of an emotional trainwreck generally. Putting that together with her otherwise inexplicable obsession with this girl, I’m guessing some kind of background issues — she was also a victim of child sexual abuse, maybe? Or, since she was a dance teacher, might we speculate that she spent some time dancing naked as a stripper?

Anyway, there’s plenty of reason to suspect that Nichol Phelps is a total psych case, e.g., she took her case to trial, rather than accepting a plea bargain.

You may be right. It just feels like there is something missing from the whole story. They talk about the girl leaving school, but they don’t say when. It would have to be after the March incident, but then they talk about the phone calls occurring between January and June. Did the girl leave school because she complained to either her parents or the school? Or did someone find out, like her parents seeing all that activity on her phone, and then through questioning her, the whole story comes out.

These underage stories are kind of hard to suss out what exactly happened. First off, there is the whole underage can’t consent dogma, so you get terms being used that suggest force, when the whole time it was just statutory. Plus, the media doesn’t want to titillate with minors and sex involved, so they don’t just come out and say what occurred.

So are there statistics that could clarify for me: are these lesbian cases happening more often, are they just getting *reported* more often (to the authorities or by the press or both), or am I just bowled over by this blog’s ability to cover every wretched one of these awful cases?

Also this sounds wacky but I wonder how many of these out of the blue cases (no history of same sex attraction…suddenly going after high school girls) are influenced by pop culture depictions, like the high school lesbian affair in Glee.

And I believe that a new “lesbian chic” phenomenon has arisen in our culture since the older, brief, yet still scandalous “gay chic” thing died during the AIDS epidemic…

It’s hardly notable or scandalous now for female celebrities to proclaim lesbian or “bisexual” inclinations… Only the gay lobby and the (male) fans really notice or care when some beauty says she’s open to a same-gender sexual relationship! Male celebrities still get a lot of extra press when they “come out”, I think…

We cannot know whether the actual prevalence of such cases has increased, although common sense suggests that the rhetoric of “gay rights” would cause some people (both adults and minors) to act on same-sex attractions that they might otherwise have repressed.

The larger point, perhaps, is simply to point out that such cases do actually happen — facts that contradict the liberal presentation of homosexuals as always being victims, rather than being perpetrators.

I am the mom of daughters and, having been a young woman myself, I knew that we would have to be vigilant to protect them from predators and perverts. Based on my experience and the experience of most females I know, I expected this would be almost entirely *male* perverts and leerers and so forth. But I started to notice that these days…it’s not just dudes you have to watch out for. Only a few years into parenting and we have already encountered a couple three women who gave me the exact same “stay away from my kids” vibe as I would get from a too friendly dude offering candy from an unmarked white van. In one case, she was a church volunteer who is employed working with kids for her day job too. When I looked her up online, I found that she was a prolific publisher of “slash” (same sex erotic) fiction about teenage girls from a popular tv show…obviously writing horribly stupid fiction is not a crime but that was enough for me to feel sure that my suspicions about her motives were not just me being paranoid. What I found remarkable though was that she didn’t try to separate her “erotica” from her irl name…she must know that as a lesbian in this city’s political climate, she can get away with damn near anything. Sure enough, when I dared mention my concerns to someone, *I* was the one with a problem–it was “creepy” that I googled her, apparently. Until society catches up with this, I suspect a lot of creepy women like that will fly under the radar.

The atmosphere of the event was not like Disney’s typical family-friendly environment. One event of Gay Days included a bawdy after-hours Disney water park party.
