Do I have to stoop to make every dumb joke?
Repeat after me, Yankee Phil: “Is Mariah Carrying?”

    Yes. I know all about these things. I know more about political and celebrity coochies than most women.

    Mea Culpa. I am just a blogging rookie. I have not paid my $300 to Philly. Thank you for suggestion. I made the change.

    “The debate should have provided the conservative defenders of property rights with a perfect example of how the right to own property also protects the 1st Amendment rights of assembly and religion by supporting the building of the mosque.”
    Ouch.
    “It is repeatedly said that 64% of the people, after listening to the political demagogues, don’t want the mosque to be built. What would we do if 75% of the people insist that no more Catholic churches be built in New York City? The point being is that majorities can become oppressors of minority rights as well as individual dictators. Statistics of support is irrelevant when it comes to the purpose of government in a free society–protecting liberty.”
    Oooh.Ouch!
    Well, there goes any idea of the Tea Party’s “Libertarian” make-over. That was Ron Paul’s take on the GZM.
    Pretty much calls out all you wannabe’s trying to rebrand the Conservative name.
    That’s gotta hurt…

    @Y4E,
    Sure, if the Bishops and Cardinals had undertaken a mass murder, and had wanted a new cathedral in a spot close enough to have been hit by components in the strike, similar blowback against the the Bishops and Cardinals would be likely, and they’d, similarly, be tolerated to build something Slightly Further Away.
    Besides underscoring that RP is a one trick pony (fiscal policy), your quotation demonstrates what, exactly?

    We’re not talking about Mariah Carey’s 2nd Amendment rights?

    Did I miss something? Is Mariah packing heat? Or is she praying 5 times a day facing east? Was it in the dining room with Colonel Mustard committing mass murder?

    I feel your pain. I have to explain things too often, as well.
