BOCA RATON, Fla. — Will be uploading these segments in stages, in no particular order. It was freaking awesome, is what it was.
UPDATE: My plan for Election Night had been to end up at Marco Rubio’s victory bash down in Coral Gables. But I was a little late leaving Panama City in the morning and, though I drove like a bat out of hell, it was obvious I would be late getting there. So I called the West campaign, found out they were having their victory party here about 45 miles up the coast from Miami and . . .
Well, Colonel West has been a sentimental favorite for a long time, ever since he was Pamela Geller’s “Colonel from Kandahar” columnist inAfghanistan. I interviewed him during his 2008 campaign, back when the NRCC wouldn’t give him the time of day, so it’s like destiny that brought me here.
The congressman-elect meets the press after his victory.
Mrs. West and the couple’s lovely daughters.
Smile and say, “Charles Johnson!”
Wonderful, wonderful!!! Looking forward to his terms in Congress. Give them heck, Congressman West!
Allen is the best!
Run for Prez, Col.!
The West is Back.
Democrats worst nightmare.
How will they counter black conservatives? By blocking all news about them.
I absolutely love this man, Allen West! I’m all the way up in Pennsylvania and was watching this race with GREAT interest.
I can go on and on with fanfare..but I will leave it at this;
Please..urge this man towards the presidency! He is exactly what we need!
I followed this race in preference to all others from Arizona. I cannot wait to see his performance in the House. He is my favorite candidate, by a long shot, and (hopefully) a sign of things to come. I hope and trust he will be every bit of of a representative of the right as a politician as he was a candidate. Go West!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey bro. A fellow Arizonan also perceives the best and brightest that the country has to offer.
Damn you RSM. Damn you to ever lasting banishment from LGF.
This is just magnificent. Of all of the races I followed, this one was the nearest and dearest to my heart. Well done Col., very well done indeed. ” Smile and say, “Charles Johnson!”. I have nothing to add to that!
I’m just counting Allen West as my Congressman. Not good on the left coast: “Figures: ‘Dead Democrat state senator reelected in Long Beach’ Seriously. Dems can be six feet deep and still win in CA.” http://is.gd/gF4ND
Thank you so much for posting Congressman West’s acceptance speech! I’ve been looking online for it since he made it. I will use it to continue to spread the word across the Internet about this great man! This is just the beginning! HOOAH!
Adam West was also the original Batman.
What an honor!!!
Me, too, and I live in Washington state! I’m 58 years old, and hope to see this awesome man in the Oval Office before I’m done here:)
yeah Allen West is the best
