Obama ‘Has Brought Us to Our Knees. He Is Lowering Our Standard of Living.’

Jennifer Stefano of Americans for Prosperity was a guest today on Neil Cavuto’s show, and she wasn’t pulling her punches:
“The president has lied on a number of issues. He promised not to raise taxes on the middle-class — he raised taxes on us today. . . . If any of us are stupid enough to go do work and collect a paycheck and not take from the government? We are now paying more to the government. . . .
“The president said he would fundamentally transform America. He has. He has brought us to our knees. He is lowering our standard of living. He is deliberately doing the fiscal initiatives that will hurt and cripple us. . . . This is a long dark period we are going into for America and I would like to say positive things because i am an optimist but it is hard. This is going to hammer us. We are going to be hammered.”
You can follow Jennifer Stefano on Twitter and also be sure to follow her AFP colleague Katy Abram — these ladies know how to fight!

To bad there are no Republicans in office who talk this way. She calls a turd a turd while our representatives in DC want to roll it in sugar and call it a $10 Hershey bar.

Off Topic: Boehner out tomorrow? Orange Crush!

I hate to see a man cry, but fortunately that’s not an issue where Boehner is concerned.

except wrt to tax increases on the middle class there was bipartisan apathy on extending the payroll tax
i feel like a mushy centrist for disliking both token media conservatives and certain “BOEHNER’S A PUSSY WAAH” activists these days but i think i’m being apolitically reasonable

“We are going to be hammered”
Note to preppers: stock up on the good stuff. Otherwise it’s going to be “apple-tinis” or Valu-Rite vodka for you.
(EDIT: And remember: many of our best founding fathers were brewers and/or distillers)

Like everyone else, I was happy to have the cash from the payroll tax holiday, but it always seemed like a pretty bad idea, even for Congress.
