A commenter on the earlier post wrote this:
Here’s something else you don’t know. From the age of 3 until age 15 or 16, Trayvon Martin lived NOT with Sybrina Fulton but with Tracy Martin, a known member of the Crips, and his then-wife Alicia Stanley-Martin, who was mentioned above. Alicia Stanley-Martin in that interview with Anderson Cooper said Trayvon spent 90% of his life in her home being raised with her two daughters from a previous relationship.
When Tracy Martin dumped Alicia for Brandy he sent Trayvon to live with Sybrina — a woman he hardly knew. The two didn’t get along at all. Sybrina kicked Trayvon out two days before he jumped Zimmerman.
Oddly, at that point Tracy was living with his sister because he’d dumped Alicia but hadn’t yet convinced Brandy to let him shack up with her and her son Chad. According to Trayvon’s text messages the plan was for him and Tracy to move in with Brandy soon but there was no definite date.
So Sybrina kicked Trayvon out knowing that Tracy had no home of his own, meaning Trayvon had no home to go to other than his aunt’s house where his father was staying.
Mother-of-the-year award material.
The part that gets me, however, is that Sybrina would let a known member of the Crips to raise her child from age three. I’m sorry but that’s too messed up for words.
You ought to check out Trayvon’s text messages, the released ones anyway. All evidence points to Tracy initiating Trayvon into the Crips, including purchasing illegal guns on the street. Yes, you read that correctly.
The text messages may be found at the website created and ran by Mark O’Mara. Look at the ten text message reports. Oh, and Tracy Martin’s Crip nickname is “Fruit.”
Is this true? The commenter references the “Third Supplemental Discovery” at George Zimmerman Legal Case, and says that all this information has previously been cited by The Last Refuge, a.k.a. The Conservative Treehouse. I find it difficult to believe that anyone — even the most biased liberal reporter at the New York Times — covering this case would look at that and say, “Irrelevant.”
As I’ve explained elsewhere, I didn’t pay much attention to this story when it broke, because in March/April 2012 I was covering the end of the GOP presidential primary campaign. Controversy about a shooting in Florida wasn’t really on my beat. So you’ll forgive me if I’m re-hashing anything everybody already knew. But . . . Trayvon’s father was a member of the Crips? Really? This is “irrelevant”?
Welcome to the New Normal, I guess.
Not to be rude, but give me a fucking break. This is the most asinine comment so far. You’re a horrible person who, for the good of humanity, should kill himself right now.
I don’t agree with your conclusions, but I have to say that this is the most rational comment so far. So kudos, even though you probably don’t want them. You’re at least capable of critical thinking.
In the higher-volume sites, seeing people with no upvotes and several downvotes is usually a sign of a troll, so it’s useful there for troll-spotting.
THE FAMILY SOCIAL DYNAMICS HAVE NO BEARING ON WHETHER HE DESERVED TO BE MURDERED. How hard is that to understand?
Calling people “trolls” is name calling, not debate. Please, engage as an adult or STFU.
In non-troll-related news. this is the closest thing to sensible that I’ve seen from a liberal regarding this case:

One can reasonably assume that a police dispatcher is legally invested by the police department in issuing legally binding commands. If I have to stop and evaluate the authority of every representative of a gov’t agency then there’s no evaluation to be made at all, and the courts agree with me. That’s a massively stupid argument.

So that we could know what kind of a person Trayvon is in reality as opposed to what the media has portrayed him to be.
Yeah, but that’s not really necessary, considering that trolls like to stand out.
The down-ding is a chance to “get” someone. The up-ding is a market choice.
Besides, there’s almost always a way to flag someone’s comments as inappropriate, and trolling is never appropriate.
Ok, indulge me on the logic that the answer is no.
And he didn’t.
Actually, you’re completely wrong. First, Zimmerman indicated Martin ran off before the dispatcher asked if he was following him. The dispatcher asked, he said yes, dispatcher said we don’t need to do that, what’s your name, and Zimmerman said “George…” and then repeated, “he ran.” At which point Martin had FOUR MINUTES to go 70 yards to his dad’s girlfriend’s house. As a matter of fact, Rachel Jeantel TESTIFIED that Trayvon told her he was at that house when he hung up with her. But instead of going inside, Martin BACKTRACKED to the ‘T’ and ambushed Zimmerman. He was a thug, not a poor little boy victim. Zimmerman screamed for his life. John Good told Martin to stop or he’d call the cops. Martin refused to stop, so Zimmerman had no reasonable expectation that he would and THEREFORE every right to shoot his punk ass to defend his own life and health. And frankly, your defense of Martin is nothing short of the bigotry of low expectations. It’s people like you who make excuses for bad behavior that contribute to it. I’m out.
Honey, killing and murder are two entirely different things and you DEFINITELY have them, as well as who the victim is, mixed up in this case. If Zimmerman had been a woman, you’d be off trolling some other site getting your jollies, instead of lurking about here making a complete and total arse out of yourself. But hey, free country! And I’m certainly enjoying the free entertainment. Ta!
No, but I can verify that what Stacy wrote about Bob McDonnell was spot on.
PPP (I know): “Only 31% of voters in the state consider him to be an ethical politician, compared to 45% who do not“
Looks more like it’s just getting started.
In other words, you’ve got nuthin’
One criterion for a smart man is not sounding like a skin-color-obsessed troll.

So now you care about namecalling? Are you going to go back and edit all of your comments to take out the namecalling and ad hominem now?
Identifying trolls is a public service. You are merely trolling to antagonize, and have ignored a slew of facts. You are a troll.
Selective media outrage…
There’s an Aaron Worthing blog for that. 😉
Of course it’s irrelevant! It doesn’t fit the White Racist attack meme of the MSM/Left.
Trayon was taller than George. He was 6 ft., 200 lbs. That is not skinny.
Sorry but I have a problem with “created and ran by”. Shouldn’t it be “created and run by”. I’ve heard my brother & others use this & I think it’s incorrect. I have a problem, like the author, with the premis of the story, but that “ran”stopped me. I also can not stand the faux word “funner” that is not a word. Not correct grammar

If you’re not a “Liberal parrot”, you’re missing a golden opportunity. And how the hell do you know what Zimmerman was going through that you can call him a “gd pussy”? And to have the government more involved in anything concerning background checks at this time with this commie administration is absolutely frightening. The IRS has done a pretty good job in proving that the government cannot be trusted.
RSM said it was newsworthy. No one said he “deserved” to be murdered.
Those pejoratives about Zimmerman indicate to me a person who has never been in a serious physical altercation, or even to a basic karate class. A fight is physically exhausting beyond a tough workout at the gym. People who have been in those situations don’t make statements like calling the victim of an assault a “pussy.”
You don’t have all the facts. Did you also dance a jig when OJ was found not guilty & most every black in America believed he was guilty. Unless you know the facts stop saying he’s guilty. The jurors saw & heard the evidence & they let him go. I think they heard more than you.
Really? So there is strong evidence that Zimmerman acted out of animus towards Martin due to race, color, religion,or national origin? Wow. So the FBI was lying when they said they found no such evidence? And the Florida prosecutors withheld that information at trial? Your ignorance is showing, but I know it won’t stop you.
And, once again, I did NOT say this was admissible in a criminal case, which you choose to ignore. I said it would be relevant in a civil case and in terms of telling the full story in the press instead of demonizing Zimmerman.
Hopefully 911 (emergency and non) throughout the country will rethink the best way to talk to people who haven’t got the good sense to understand “we don’t need you to do that” is a “suggestion” that callers not put themselves in further danger by approaching the potential criminals they’re calling about. It’s not illegal to be a moron, but neither party would’ve been injured if only Zimmerman understood, and had listened to the guy with a whole lot of experience dealing with first responders and potentially dangerous situations…even though no, he was under no legal obligation to do so.
While they’re at it, they probably ought to reconsider rephrasing how they ask which direction the potential criminal went, including the phrase “from where you are now, and please don’t go after the man/woman/group” in deference to those same morons.
Based on the evidence available and the laws as they stand, Zimmerman could not be convicted. Also, he didn’t commit a hate crime. But–like Christopher Serino says, Zimmerman ultimately could’ve avoided this whole thing–not been hit, and not killed anyone–if only he had done things differently, either waiting in his car, or at least approaching Martin differently. While that doesn’t matter criminally (though I think it should), it hopefully will matter civilly.
The only question that matters was if he made George Zimmerman fear for his life, which is only possible if Zimmerman was a goddamn pussy. So if that kid was telling him he was going to die then he’s a pussy for believing it? You were not there nor were any of us. Have you heard all the evidence? We’re you in court daily? The second amendment has nothing to do with this. Most of the crazies killing people in these latest high profile crimes were liberals. George is or was a demorat himself. But you need to stop spreading things that are not true.
No. You’re a racist when you act invidiously out of racial animus. Like referring to people who disagree with you as white racists, with particular emphasis on “white” as a pejorative, to win an argument and cow them into silence.
Supposedly, Brandi Green just had Tracy Martin’s baby, but of course, we don’t know that for sure (parentage) without a DNA test. (Tracing A-A genealogy is a very difficult task.)
Deposed Miami witnesses say they overheard numerous fights between Sybrina and Trayvon…including his threat to kill her: “I gone kill you, B*tch.”
Miami police were deposed regarding Trayvon’s suspensions, burglary tool and loot, drugs found in his locker.
Someone said tweets showed Trayvon was dumped by his Miami girlfriend just before his mother kicked him out, compounding his rage.
By the time poor unsuspecting George Zimmerman encountered Trayvon, he was a bomb whose fuse had burned out.
Among the suppressed evidence was a burglary tool found at the scene of the shooting. Do not know if it was dusted for prints.
We certainly learned that Forensics in FL is not in the league with Dr. Henry Lee or CSI.
Another interesting tidbit – The CTH investigator went to Miami to get documents and interview witnesses. When he was leaving the building, his car was on fire in the parking lot. These people play dirty.
Nobody has said he deserved to be murdered. Again you do not have the facts. Just like all the hollyweirdo’s & low info athletes tweeting vile death threats & mis information you are also mis informed I wasn’t there & I don’t know it all but I know enough to not say he deserves to be in jail. Just as you say past should not have any bearing either should George’s. but you are doing just what you say conservative idiots are doing. You are saying George is guilty without the facts. I’d respect what you had to say if you were consistent. But you say we need to cut Treyvon slack & believe he was up to no good but on the other you paint George as sinister & then call us names.
Another interesting fact: Photos reveal Sybrina (Tracy’s first wife?) and Alicia (second wife?) have near-identical tattoos on their breasts. Is this TM Sr’s way of marking his women?
Trayvon was NOT murdered.
He committed felony assault with hate speech and death treats.
Felony assault when no one will come to subdue the perpetrator, is grounds for self defense by deadly force.
Who really killed Trayvon?
– his parents,
– the black gangsta culture,
– the media and entertainment industry,
– the street justice proponents (NBPP, Farrakhan,
Sharpton, Jackson, et al),
– his peers who cheer violence and hurting whites for
fun,
– the liberal affirmative action crowd in both parties
who enable criminal and immoral behavior via benefits and entitlement programs
and policies
– the direct, cumulative and interactive effects of the
drugs Trayvon had consumed and finally,
– Trayvon himself for his choices and attitudes.
It was not murder, it was self-defense.
The Dispatcher asked GZ TWICE (after the ‘we don’t need you to follow remark) which way was TM heading. GZ was already out of his truck. This fact came up in the trial during O’Mara’s closing.
