‘Community Liaison,’ IYKWIMAITYD

Officer Chris Wilson was the Phoenix Police Department’s “community liaison to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community” until August 2012, when he was arrested and charged with having sex with two teenage boys:

Officer Christopher J. Wilson, 43 . . . faces 10 felony counts of sexual assault with a 14-year-old and a 17-year-old, Phoenix Police Chief Daniel Garcia said at a Wednesday news conference.
“This tragic incident is a disturbing violation of our public’s trust,” Garcia said.
Garcia called the 14-year-old boy “courageous” for informing his parents of the alleged assaults. The parents called police Tuesday afternoon, and detectives immediately sought more information, Garcia said.
Through the investigation, detectives learned of a second accuser, the 17-year-old boy, he said. . . .
The sexual encounters took place at several private locations, including Wilson’s home, Garcia said. Wilson lives by himself, according to court records.
Wilson worked as the department’s community liaison to the Valley’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and met his accusers through his job, police said.

So, being the “gay community liaison” turns out to have been a way for Officer Chris to meet teenage boys for sex. And it now appears that one of his young victims was also himself a victimizer:

A prominent LGBT rights and anti-bullying teen activist faces more than a dozen charges of sexual misconduct with a minor.
Caleb Laieski, 18, was indicted by a grand jury in Phoenix, Ariz., on the sex crime charges as part of a case against former Phoenix Police Detective Chris Wilson.
Wilson was arrested in December 2012 in the alleged sexual assaults of two male teen, ages 14 and 17. According to the Phoenix New Times, Laieski is that 17-year-old.
Laieski’s indictment doesn’t provide details about the alleged crimes, but accuses him of engaging in sexual activity with the 14-year-old.
Wilson, who resigned from the Phoenix police department following his arrest, had met Laieski and the 14-year-old while serving on department’s Community Response Squad as a liaison officer to the LGBT community.
The 14-year-old victim, who’s also emerged as a prominent young activist against anti-gay bullying, had told his parents about his alleged relationships with Laieski and Wilson, prompting his parents to file a complaint.
Laieski has said that he was “16-years-old, or at most, 17-years-old” when the alleged sexual encounters occurred, according to court filings.
Laieski began his anti-bullying activism after dropping out of high school at age 16. He achieved his GED, and rose to national prominence in May 2011 when he traveled to Washington to lobby Congress during a month-long lobbying crusade to garner support for the Student Non-Discrimination Act (SNDA).
He later met President Barack Obama and Vice-President Joe Biden as a guest at the White House pride reception in June 2011.

Does anyone see this case as evidence of what could be a larger problem? The whole “gay youth” movement — encouraging kids to “come out” and openly identify themselves as homosexual, even before they are legally old enough to be having sex — has always struck me as potentially problematic. And, as everybody knows, the recent “anti-bullying” initiative in public schools has been promoted by gay activists who claim that homophobic bullying is responsible for suicide by gay teens.

Nobody wants kids to be bullied or to commit suicide, of course, which is how “anti-bullying” becomes just another way for gay activists to gain support from well-meaning people whose reaction might otherwise be, “Whoa! Wait a minute! Aren’t these kids just a little bit too young to be marching around in the Gay Pride parade?”

That kind of reaction is just common sense. But common sense is politically incorrect, and some facts are now considered to be “hate.”

  1. Homosexuals make up something like 4% of the population, but somehow, some way, it sure seems like a lot higher percentage of the sexual abuse of minors cases we read about involve homosexual abuse of minors than that 4% rate.

    But, I’m sure that it’s all anecdotal, right?

  9. Jack Dunphy had a column on an adjacent subject about a dozen years ago. He said there is a class of police officers who grow bored with or unsuitable for police work and they are sluiced to various activities in and around police departments which do not involve that. They still have police rank and may wear a uniform, but they are not police officers. They are schoolteachers (e.g. those running D.A.R.E. programs), or labor hacks, or bureaucrats. Its an adjustment to personnel problems which substitutes for departures and discharges. The things you do because you have underfunded defined benefit pension programs…

    This particular collecting pool seems to have been set up to please politicians. The characteristics of homosexual identity politics, most particularly the insistence on the part of its practitioners that their sensibilities are of paramount public concern and their habit of making exhibits of themselves, are one might wager the sorts of things that men of the sort who make up police departments would regard as an embarrassing nuisance and not tolerate in their own households.

    I would have a strong suspicion that someone homosexually-inclined who had worked as a police officer would be a weight-training/leather enthusiast. Adds to the disconcert here.

And yet, in spite of the copious evidence that the purpose of the “Gay Rights” movement is to better enable the pursuit of converts, society still falls for the movement’s arguments which are based on illogical appeals to emotion dressed up with ad hominem invective. It demonstrates conclusively that these sorts of campaigns are not about rights or individuality, but about the destruction of society via the destruction of marriage and the family. The fact that this was outlined in detail some 2000 years ago is the only thing which provides hope for some of us.

    And yes, it is true that homosexual men (percentage wise) are involved in more abuse of minor issues that heterosexual men. But there are a lot of heterosexual predators too.

    Which is the group that most perpetrates violence against LGBT individuals?

    LGBT individuals themselves. The number of social conservatives who perpetrate violence against LGBT people is quite small comparatively.

    What is the group that most sexually exploits and traffics LGBT youngsters? LGBT individuals themselves. It would be hard to find a social conservative who does this.

    Nearly 1 in 6 adults in California, about 3.7 million persons, report experiencing physical intimate partner violence (IPV) as adults.

    Based on the CHIS 2007 IPV module, women (21.1%) are twice as likely to be victims of physical violence as men (11%), and eight times (8%) as likely to report being the victim of sexual violence compared to men (1%).

    Bisexual (40.6%), gay, lesbian or homosexual adults (27.9%) are almost twice as likely to experience IPV as heterosexual adults (16.7%).

    And yet, the media and the turdy homosexual activists will only talk about violence against LGBT if the perpetrator is some conservative redneck or some kid in a school.

    Calculate the results of the numbers above – if you estimate for the whole country and for bisexuals and homosexuals, that’s millions of acts of violence – all by the junk of LGBT smearing social conservatives as “bigots.” Who’s the group full of bigots and violent people?

    It’s sad to see how many social conservatives fall for this liberal propaganda meme that paints the picture as gays being mostly victimized by some conservative hick. Nothing could be further from the truth.

  18. As for the homosexual teen suicide question, I certainly don’t want bullies to drive anyone to suicide, not just kids with a homosexual problem.

    However, there’s a caveat regarding teen suicide as well.

    Liberals with their demented ideas that homosexuality is normal and inborn are certainly being negligent towards kids. What do liberals do when a kid has a mountain of mental and ideological problems that produce his or her homosexual condition? Liberals say that the kid has no problems, therefore nothing to investigate and treat.

    While liberals keep telling the poor kid there is nothing wrong with his deformed and dysfunctional sexual psychology, the underlying psychological problems of the kid worsen and he never gets the help he needs. Then he can commit suicide or engage in other destructive or self-destructive behavior.

    And it’s all conveniently blamed on conservative bigots and raaaacists, of course – who would have wanted for the kid to get the psychological help he or she needed.

    I think I should write GLAAD and suggest they use this couple as the next poster-lesbians to fight for legalizing homosexual farcical marriage. And crying about hospital bans! Discrimination!

    I haven’t yet seen any homosexual activist claim these two are “just like heterosexuals,” just like the people in **your** family, just like anyone else… I wonder why…

  20. Don’t forget the UK case of that other homosexual youth coordinator: James Rennie. In his case, he was caught sexually abusing infants and children – including of his friends.

    Because homosexuals and bisexuals just want to love each other, you know…

  24. Also: ANY instance of suicide these days (such a s soldiers returning from war zones) is suspicious in my eyes, as they are all loaded up with dangerous pharmaceuticals that have suicide as a known side effect.
    Further: When you look at the incredibly gay-friendly Scandinavian countries, they have the same damned rates of suicide, drug & alcohol abuse in their homosexual population.
    Could it be that homosexuality is a symptom of various compulsive disorders? Hmmm… Better not look into it. Too politically dangerous for all those brave, brave scientists.

And if you notice, any and every time some kid who is deemed to have a homosexual problem commits suicide, it is immediately blamed on conservative’s non normalization of homosexuality. In most cases, there is NEVER an investigation of any other cause or it is confidential. How can anyone in the public know the causes then? It is the plainest truth that for the overwhelming majority of kids who commit suicide, there are multiple causes. But no, they must all be ignored so that decent conservatives can all be tarred and feathered by liberals as whom to blame.
    While severely mistreating and bullying a kid can certainly make them try to commit suicide, simply not accepting that homosexuality is normal without bullying the individual has never led any kid to commit suicide. Quite on the contrary, it’s a voice of moral saneness and sensibility in this cultural wilderness we live in.

    The only two groups of statistical significance are bisexual women and gay men, not lesbians or bi-men.

    95% of the IPV (intimate partner violence) of bisexual women is from male partners, and gay men are 2.5x more likely to have experienced it than straight men.

    Of course the standard of what qualifies for IPV in the study is fairly low – “hit, slapped, pushed, kicked, or physically hurt,” and men do show their negative emotions through physicality more than women. I can personally say I have had a few ‘fights’ with partners but in reality were really nothing more physical than would be rough ‘horseplay’ if people weren’t upset at the time. It still would have popped up as IDV in this survey.

    So what the study shows and punctuates with their bisexual women studies is guys are more likely to get physical over negative emotions than girls. Good to have it quantitated but still not really surprising to anyone, is it?

    Again, remember the 2.5x is when compared to the partner of a heterosexual man, i.e. a woman.

    Again, the ‘idiot’ is asking – who here is surprised to find out that men are 2.5x more likely to hit a man than a woman is?

    And since heterosexual men are 20x more likely to IDV a bisexual woman than a female partner is, the problem again seems to be more about testostrogen than sexual orientation. At least this ‘idiot’ would think so.
