Police: Florida Teacher Told Boy’s Mother ‘No Regrets’ for Sex With Student, 17

Posted on | April 15, 2014 | 28 Comments

No morals, no conscience, no shame:

A 29-year-old English teacher who allegedly had a four-month affair with her underage student and aborted his child, has been charged.
Jennifer Christine Fichter was arrested yesterday after allegedly confessing to the 17-year-old boy’s mother that she’d had sex with the teen up to 30 times, loved him and had no regrets.
The Central Florida Aerospace Academy teacher was arrested . . . last night and charged with six counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor. . . .
According to The Tampa Tribune, police said the abuse began in November when the pair had sex in the early morning hours in Fichter’s Toyota pickup truck.
The teen told detectives he and Fichter met for sex three times in the parking lot of a Lakeland apartment complex and three times near New Tampa Highway.
He also said they had sex four times outside the city in Polk and Hillsborough [counties].  . . .
Last night, the mother agreed to speak to Fichter and record the conversation for investigators.
During the call, Fichter allegedly admitted she became pregnant with the teen’s child and had an abortion. Fichter also said she was in love with the student and wanted to continue seeing him.
‘The victim’s mother discovered this relationship after reviewing text messages from her son and she asked that Fichter respond to her residence to talk,’ a Lakeland police statement said, according to Orlando Sentinel.
‘According to the victim’s mother, Fichter admitted to the sexual encounters and professed her love for him.’

It’s Florida. The whole state’s been overrun by degenerates.

“No morals, no conscience, no shame.”

Three things we don’t need anymore because we’re so sophisticated and cool!

In another post on this site today, I pointed out that Jared Loughner was a Satanist, and I was met with the remark “Who cares? It’s all fake.” (Or something to that effect.)

    Here’s why it matters:

With Christianity, you follow your appetites all week, then go to church and discover that you’ve been sinning; you’ve been veering off the path; that you need to get yourself right, and you spend an hour there trying to focus yourself back on track.

With Satanism, you follow your appetites, then you check in with your religion and hear… what? “Sure! Do whatever you want to!” No balance. No morals, no conscience, no shame.

Even worse is this unfortunate excerpt from a so-called “article”:

“But, really, does this so-called crime even warrant an arrest? This young guy was living out every schoolboy’s dream. If he didn’t have a problem with what was happening, why should the government come in and ruin what could potentially blossom into a perfectly healthy relationship? With as fast as kids are forced to grow up nowadays, 17 is certainly old enough to make adult decisions.”

I much prefer this language to what we usually see in these reports. The word “rape” (and similar language) should be reserved for when actual force is used.

Don’t harsh their mellow, RKae! I denounce you and your belief that Christianity is responsible for people being better! That’s hate speech! And bigotry! And… and… and… it’s mean! Your Christian heteronormative cismale heresy demands you be reprogrammed to realize Satanism is more valid than Christianity and, since it’s the most pressing social issue to ever face mankind, you will learn to see homosexuality as not only normal, but an evolutionary step forward.

Statutory Rape. The force of adult status coercing or even seducing a minor is why they have those laws. Because we recognize that it’s wrong.

Have you ever watched Chris Hanson’s To Catch a Predator (2004-2007)…the guy on NBC who did all those exposes on internet molesters? I watched a few. Notice the eyes of people they catch. They know what they did wasn’t ‘right’…long before they realize they’re going to jail. (On the contrary, I’ve never seen even one pedophile offer the opinion that what s/he did was wrong or hurtful, no big deal in their opinion.)

My main impression was that these guys are not true pedophiles, but rather more or less “normal” males with a yen for legally underage (but physically mature and sexually willing) females. A true pedophile relishes pre-pubescent children for sex and is imo quite a different sort of creature — and, if my very scant experience and reading is indicative, tends to be blithely amoral or even self-righteous rather than guilt-ridden and/or ashamed when caught.

This not to say that such “statutory rapists” don’t do very real harm, of course — but an errant, horny husband/older female acting out a fantasy with a willing (if underage), sexually active teenager is a far cry from the classic pedophile, the type who was whispered about in my childhood as a “child molester.”

Like I said, “This not to say that such “statutory rapists” don’t do very real harm, of course — but an errant, horny husband/older female acting out a fantasy with a willing (if underage), sexually active teenager is a far cry from the classic pedophile, the type who was whispered about in my childhood as a “child molester.”

I see it as much more traumatic if the person involved is young and not expressing a willingness. I don’t see such sexual fantasies as a harm unless acted upon. Maybe there are some things I do not understand about a young boys developing sexuality, but I’ve never been distressed to hear about female teachers having sex with teen age boys aside from thinking the teacher should have had better judgment and should have been able to set some boundaries for herself. But in terms of the teen age boy’s experience, I don’t have any awareness of how that is a trauma though at the same time, I cannot say it is not as I just don’t know.

But in terms of our socialization, I see sex for young females in a different light, possibly of more harm. A young person’s poor judgment is evidenced by agreeing to meet a perfect stranger who could be quite dangerous to them.

Then there is the factor that an adult male is presumed to have an understanding about the legal factors involved and presumed to have better judgment than a young, underage person. The presumption may be that young girls do not possess as much experience and resulting good judgment.

I’ve nothing against such fantasies. We all have fantasies. We just usually do not throw caution to the wind and act them out if there are heavy consequences.

I don’t have any hesitance applying statutory rape laws to adults preying on younger people, but 17 or younger is the age of consent in 38 states and the District, so in this Florida is an outlier. In fact, there are more states with the age set at 16 (31) than 18, although some of those have age gap provisions. The woman should be fired and prohibited from teaching minors in the future, but prison doesn’t seem appropriate.

If you believe that an adult forcing a minor and an adult seducing a minor are exactly the same, then it makes sense to use the same word to describe the very different actions. I think there is a difference. If an adult forces a minor, it is a worse act, and there should be language that can be used to describe it. Pretending that the two are the same is just a form of political correctness.

The law agrees with my view, by the way. There is a more severe penalty for an adult that forces a minor. The language we use should make it clear what happened, not obfuscate it.

It may have to do with the relative positions of the parties. I’ve not read the Florida statute, but a number of states criminalize sexual contact where one party is in a position of authority over another, even if there is nominally “consent” and the victim is otherwise old enough. Teacher-student is the classic example. The theory is that power disparities prevent true consent from being possible.

“True” pedophiles? Now they need to have a college degree, or maybe a doctor’s certificate in order to diddle kiddies without fear of jail, hey?

And what, pray tell, is the difference between “molesting” and “relishing” pre-pubescent children? One is loveless, while the other is passionate and romantic?

Defending pedophiles — as you have consistently done — ignores the harm to the children, even if you do assert that banging a teenager is a “far cry” from raping younger children.

This is just a backdoor approach to your justifying or legitimizing statutory rape, concern troll.

Been overrun by degenerates? Homey please.

I grew up there, my wife’s kin homesteaded and/or hid out there in the 19th century. Her great grandfather was the third Sheriff of Sarasota County, and back then the job was self financing, if you know what that means.

It’s always been chocked full of degenerates. They are probably the state’s number one non-agricultural product.

Too many comments from people who are hung up over the boy’s age. The bottom line is we can’t allow teachers in charge of children to behave like this. It’s unethical and unprofessional for an adult in a position of authority over a child to take sexual liberties with said child. If you believe that a man making sexual advances to a woman in his office is sexual harassment you cannot allow this to go on in our schools. Nothing to see here folks, just a little pink trash now move along.

N.B., if this were a college professor and young coed, there would be triple the outrage because of the “power” disparities I mention above. If you want “equality,” then let’s have it across the board.

Conceded. But our resident concern troll uses this incident as a means to shoehorn in its age-based, pro-pedophilia propaganda, and that needs to be whacked on the head.

Both the concept and the troll, I mean.

Very sad, especially for the child murdered and the father vacated. With luck, the father learns to plant in dedicated ground. The minority laws are invita minerva and the mores regarding marriage are invita corporum but in this one-dimensional, moralistic/immoral society reform of those is not to happen. The root of immorality such as these characters illustrate is the moralism they drink down and swim in daily, from birth. Immorality is a consequence of moralism. Freedom and morality is the healthy link, conceptually and physically. We are bundles of powers of being, not constructions. Laws are constructions, though with powers of being at their root, for good or ill. The immediate occasion of these stories is the moralism of pederasts, their desire for catamites. To mask that impulse, they market free association of the sexes for everyone, and abortion to hide one of the consequences.

Anyone checking the AoC wiki will see that many, if not most, nations set AoC at sixteen unless the adult is someone who is a guardian. Responsible adults understand the coercive power of authority. It’s how we get kids to do things. More states are enacting institutional rape laws and that’s a good sign.
