Axis Of Socially Inept

It must get awful lonely up there in Burri-land:

Although Paco now denies it, his investigation clearly shows the ascendancy of The Axis of Cheesehead above that of the now passe Axis of Fedora.

Passé? Really? Look at the photo at the link above. Quite the dude party you’ve got going there. Now check out the ‘Axis of Fedorables’ portion of this blog, middle column, by the Amazon ad. We stand with Paco amidst a co-ed assortment of fine American ladies.
I realize that you cave- and bog-dwellers in Wisconsin are strangely comfortable with the sad example of gender failure that is the Axis of Cheesehead, but for normal people, your lot is the Axis of Creepy.
And another thing: Tillamook is better.

Update: maybe the Axis of Cheesehead can square away the train wreck that is this Walker recall effort. Or maybe, in some strange way, these Cheeseheads are somehow responsible.

Update II: Bill Quick opines that most wearers of headgear are bald. Now, I tend toward a cueball hairstyle for reasons of minimalism, but I hasten to add that this is not the case with our >50% female membership in the Axis of Fedora.

    Now you did it.

We’re going to have to go all Biden and make a separate homeland for the Curds….

    Thanks for the link, Smitty!

Burri is clearly in error. Picture, if you will, Humphrey Bogart, in, say, The Maltese Falcon, standing in the misty night air, looking down on the body of his murdered partner, and wearing a cheesehead. The shot is simply not on the board.

I will go further. To borrow from Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes,  Jr., the notion that the cheesehead is superior to the fedora is “a purely municipal idea, of no validity outside the jurisdiction.”

    Burri means ‘error’ in Elbonian.

The Elbonians invented Lean Six Sigma.

    Not many people know that.

    Brilliant!

Paco, it is a well known fact that John Wayne had to be compensated dearly for not wearing his preferred cheesehead and donning a cowboy hat instead.

Please finish Holmes’ thought… that those wearing the cheeseheads are far superior to those trying to overcompensate via the fedora.

Yes, yes, that particular photo only included dudes, but that is only because during the shot our hot Lt. Governor, Rebecca Kleefisch and Laura Kaeppeler, Miss America, were out getting the beer and sandwiches.

Burri, there is no “axis” of cheeseheads. There is only a “wedge” of cheeseheads (possibly a “wheel” of cheeseheads). Besides, you’re thinking of Jon, not John, Wayne.  Jon Wayne isn’t an actor, at all; he’s a hot dog vendor in Green Bay. An admirable profession, to be sure, but really, the fellow is practically another, and inferior, species of human being compared to the Duke.

So, you’re saying it’s really the Axis of Social Media Inept?

  16. Steve Burri

Hot dog vendor?! No, no, no, Paco, you are confusing Oscar Mayer with Golda Meir. Mayer died a cheesehead, but Meir was raised and schooled a cheesehead.

Steve, I’m growing concerned about you. You do realize, don’t you, that you’re supposed to scrape the mold off the cheese before you eat it?

No, Adj, that was Lean Smegma Six.

No one ever told him – very few of them can read up there.

No! Use of the proper environment and enzymes in the production of Wisconsin cheeses causes any mold that forms to possess A-1 psychedelic properties. Even shoveling snow and temperatures of 30 below become fun.
