Mayor Ass-Man: ‘How Dare You Accuse Me of Sexism, You Lying Media Bitches?’

OK, the headline may be a slight paraphrase of Mayor Bloomberg’s response to questions at Thursday’s press conference:

On Monday, New York Magazine published a profile . . . that contained a quote from Mayor Michael Bloomberg that got a great deal off attention. According to Jonathan Van Meter . . . Mayor Bloomberg “gestured toward a woman in a very tight floor-length gown” and said, ”Look at the ass on her.” Politicker asked the mayor about the comment at a press conference . . .
“I never said it and I don’t know where it came from, next question,” the mayor replied tersely. . . .
We pressed the point and asked the mayor whether he rejected the characterization of the quote as part of a pattern of sexist remarks.
“OK, you can write anything you want,” Mayor Bloomberg said. “Don’t be ridiculous, that’s an outrage for you to say that.”

Mayor Ass-Man is probably surprised to learn that not even his advocacy of gun-control can spare him from feminist wrath.

  1. Methinks he doth protest too much.

Someone on staff went overboard on a planted story.

New York City is a jealous bitch, huh Mayor?

  2. No, it’s all that money that’s making his head swell. He thinks he’s King Midas and should rule the world (and all you serfs and peons too.).
