We luv huh! We love every twangy, non-blue-state approved word. We love the thought of heads in the Lefty Borg going critical and triggering a chain-reaction ‘splosion of new-clear proportions.
Go, Sarah!

Levi Johnston is a total loser who’s never gonna have another chance at anybody half as fine as Bristol Palin!
They’re reporting that Mama Grizzly will be in the studio when Bristol makes her debut performance on “Dancing With the Stars.”
Having had the opportunity to hang out with Todd Palin, I know that he’s tough enough to rip off your arm and beat you to death with the bloody stump.
So I’m not going to make any remarks about Bristol that could be interpreted as disrespectful, OK?
Bristol is only 19 years old and therefore more appropriately of interest to my 17-year-old sons than to any of us old geezers. And I hope the commenters will keep that in mind, as well.
But Levi . . . Dude. What a loser.
DANCING WITH THE STARS: ABC 8 p.m. ET
UPDATE: The Rhetorican: “My Agent’s Better Than Your Agent.”
Bristol did VERY well, thank you very much. She seemed a little bashful, but I think she’ll get better as she gains confidence.
To vote for Bristol, text “VOTE” to 3407.
UPDATE II: You can also vote online by clicking here.
UPDATE III: As might be expected, the AOSHQ Morons had a lot of laughs at the expense of the unfortunate Margaret Cho.
UPDATE IV: Linked by Tim at Left Coast Rebel, and there’s a Memeorandum thread.
We knew they were desperate, but no one suspected the Left would turn this into a literal witch-hunt:
“I dabbled into witchcraft. I hung around people who were doing these things. I’m not making this stuff up. . . . One of my first dates with a witch was on a satanic altar, and I didn’t know it. . . . We went to a movie and then had a midnight picnic on a satanic altar.”
Typical witch pickup line: “Want to go see a movie down at the multiplex and then . . . oh, I don’t know . . . hang out with Beelzebub?”
Speaking of women the Left hates, did you hear what Sarah Palin said in Iowa? “I want to get to Delaware very soon and start knocking on doors.” I put in a call to one of my contacts in the Palin camp, who said they haven’t scheduled that yet. They’re still working on plans for Sarah’s fall campaign tour. Continue reading Desperate New Smear Against Christine O’Donnell: ‘She Turned Me Into a Newt’ →
Lisa Murkowski is as consumed with pathological narcissism as her worst enemies said? She’s listening to demented Palin-haters like Andrew Halcro and John Bitney?
Ace is mocking the rumor/not-a-rumor, but trying to run as a write-in when your name is “Murkowski” is an epic case of mind-boggling stupid:
U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski has decided to run as a write-in candidate in the November election, according to an e-mail from a campaign supporter. And a Murkowski cousin, Mary Gore, wrote on her Facebook page today that Murkowski will announce her continued candidacy in Anchorage this afternoon.
On the bright side? This ought to silence all Republican criticism of Christine O’Donnell’s campaign. Hell’s bells, Charlie Crist has a better chance of winning in Florida than Lisa Murkowski has in Alaska — and Charlie’s got no chance at all.
UPDATE: Dan Fagan of the Alaska Standard:
Just as Frank and Lisa Murkowski put their own interests ahead of the nation’s eight years ago with nepotism, Lisa will once again put political ambition ahead of love for country.
Your television screen will reveal to you something very important today. . . .
Take a close look at those standing behind Murkowski. You will be looking into the eyes of establishment Republicans desperately trying to hold onto our country’s big government, special interest ways. The Murkowski live news conference will reveal to us those in the party who probably never were conservatives.
“Probably”? There are a lot of opportunists in the GOP, “Professional Republicans” whose partisanship is a function of career interest. Perhaps they’ve been in the game so long they can no longer distinguish between political principle and personal ambition, but they certainly never let the former get in the way of the latter.
Bright side? They’re falling like dominoes now: Arlen Specter, Dede Scozzafava, Charlie Crist, Bob Bennett, Bob Inglis, Mike Castle . . . and now, as Doug Brady points out, Alaska Sen. Veruca Salt:
O’Donnell’s unexpected last-minute surge in the Delaware GOP Senate primary has caught some people flat-footed. How did this happen? It’s simple: For the first time, RINO Mike Castle is being called to account for his record with a series of hard-hitting ads (two on TV and one on radio) from the Tea Party Express:
Let’s not overlook everything that everyone has done to help make this a competitive primary. Mark Levin has done yeoman’s work and Sarah Palin’s endorsement was crucial. But those who kept pushing the same tired bandwagon argument — “Castle can win, O’Donnell can’t” — were doing so without considering what might happen when, for the first time in his career, Castle had to defend his record against this kind of conservative ad campaign.

The Governator tried to talk Twitter trash about being unable to see Russia while flying over Alaska, and got beaten down.

In other Sarah news, the Beck visit seems to be a pure 9/11 remembrance. But could Beck have some deeper, proselytizing plot? Will they both convert to the Church of the Subgenius?
Following up on the earlier post about Sarah Palin’s endorsement of Christine O’Donnell, I have spoken to a few sources, one of whom described this as “the longest of long shots,” a decision based not on political calculation but as a matter of “pure principle.”
Another source pointed out that Rush Limbaugh might have had an influence, as he returned from vacation Tuesday and pounded hard on the Delaware primary — following his friend Mark Levin, who has been O’Donnell’s staunchest defender on talk radio.
At any rate, here’s Sarah Palin’s Facebook endorsement:
The wave of positive change can really sweep across our land with the election of Constitutional Conservatives who promise to use common sense and rein in the federal government spending! Please support Christine O’Donnell in Delaware. She will support efforts for America’s energy security, patient-centered health care reform, cutting government waste, and letting the private sector thrive and prosper! We can’t afford “more of the same” in Washington. Christine will help usher in the real change we need to get America on the right track. Please visit her website at www.christine2010.com and follow her on Facebook and Twitter.
Just five days before Sept. 14 primary, can Palin’s endorsement turn the tide in Delaware? Stay tuned.
UPDATE: Dan Riehl has a similar reaction, citing this endorsement by Palin as a matter of “principle . . . integrity” and certain other admirable qualities. A tip of the fedora to Dan who, as I said Tuesday, went on the warpath against RINO Mike Castle and Castle’s supporters. And I must point out that it was co-blogger Smitty who first called our attention to Christine O’Donnell back in March.
MIRACLE! Dave Weigel reports that Sarah Palin just called into Sean Hannity‘s radio show to officially endorse Christine O’Donnell in the Delaware GOP Senate primary.
Answered prayer! Is it too little, too late?
UPDATE: From O’Donnell’s Twitter feed:
UPDATE II: Matt Lewis notes: “So far, Palin has not commented on her Facebook page or Twitter feed.”
UPDATE III: Ian Lazaran at C4P promises audio of the endorsement soon. I just got off the phone with O’Donnell campaign manager Matt Moran, who says he’ll get me a telephone interview with Christine.
UPDATE IV: Will Ace of Spades be eating crow?
UPDATE V: Sarah Palin’s biggest gamble.
Somebody pointed out that the Delaware presidential primary in 2012 — Feb. 7 — will be one of the early ones on the calendar. Probably just a coincidence.
