21st-Century Fast Food Anarchy
Posted on | February 24, 2023 | Comments Off on 21st-Century Fast Food Anarchy
Police in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, are seeking “a person of interest in an assault case,” which “unfolded when an unidentified woman became angry over cold french-fries”:
Police report the woman who approached workers at the counter of Hardee’s on Middle Tennessee Boulevard, was acting angry saying that the fries she was served were cold. The MPD reported, “The customer began throwing the food over the counter at employees. As the unknown individual tried leaving the restaurant, an employee followed.” Authorities say when the employee followed the woman towards the door, his hat was knocked off and the woman allegedly punched the worker in the face, twice.
The person of interest left Hardee’s on Middle Tennessee Boulevard in a white four-door Hyundai sedan.
So be on the lookout for that Hynundai driver in Murfreesboro. Meanwhile, if you’re serving fried chicken in Augusta, Georgia, don’t forget the biscuits:
A Popeye’s customer is accused of ramming her vehicle into the fast-food restaurant because her order didn’t have biscuits.
Belinda Miller, 50, of Augusta, was charged Wednesday with aggravated assault and criminal damage to property in the first degree.
And this isn’t the first time she has rammed a building with the same vehicle!
At Popeye’s, Miller fled the scene on Saturday after ramming her black Toyota Rav4 into the Walton Way restaurant, according to a sheriff’s report.
Manager Jackie Blount said the angry customer drove the SUV into the east entrance of the restaurant, nearly striking an 18-year-old employee. . . .
Blount told authorities that she corrected the mistake and gave Miller her biscuits, but the suspect was still not happy.
“After Miller drove her vehicle through the building, she fled the scene and her vehicle was later found at her residence with front end damage,” a report says.
In May 2020, Miller claimed she was “drunk and upset” when she rammed her car into the side of an apartment building — twice! She drove the 2011 Toyota Rav 4 into the side of an apartment building at Forest Brook Apartments on Damascus Road.
The man she was arguing with tried to calm her down after she hit the building the first time. She backed up and struck the building a second time.
In 2018, the same woman allegedly pulled on the wheel as a man was driving, causing him to run off the road and into a wooded area. She was also charged with punching him as he drove.
She got probation in both cases from 2018 and 2020, according to online records.
Please, lock this woman up before she kills somebody! Meanwhile, in Florida, make sure your customer gets her free cookie, or else:
An Altamonte Springs woman was arrested and booked into jail on several charges after she allegedly loaded a handgun and began to wave it at a McDonald’s drive-thru in Florida because she did not receive a free cookie she believed she was owed, according to the arrest affidavit.
Amari Bente Hendricks, 24, was booked into the Seminole County Jail on Feb. 16 on several charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, improper exhibit of a firearm, battery causing bodily harm, and resisting an officer, the report said.
The McDonald’s employee told an officer with the Altamonte Springs Police Department that the woman was mad that no one asked if she was using the fast-food restaurant’s rewards program and because of that, she thought she was entitled to a free cookie, according to the arrest affidavit.
When the employee got to the window, Hendricks was allegedly yelling and acting irate. The woman was eventually given a free cookie, and continued to argue with the employee, the report said.
The worker told officers that Hendricks then grabbed a black handgun, inserted a magazine, and proceeded to rack the slide. The woman said she heard two click sounds “associated with someone chambering a round,” according to the report.
Hendricks them parked her car in front of the McDonald’s and allegedly attempted to open the front door. Employees had locked the door because they feared for their lives, the report said. Police said Hendricks forced herself inside the restaurant and struck one of the employees multiple times and forced him out of the building.
Just random violence, caused by poor customer service.
But some people may find another pattern here.

MSNBC’s ‘Right-Wing’ Obsession
Posted on | February 23, 2023 | 1 Comment
Following an afternoon nap, I awoke and returned to my downstairs office where the TV was on Fox News live coverage of the Murdaugh trial in South Carolina, which is the most boring thing in the world and I have no idea why anyone thinks otherwise. There’s no element of suspense to the trial, since the accused is obviously guilty, so the real mystery is, why do TV news producers think we want to watch it?
At 5 p.m., I decided to switch to MSNBC — I watch, so you don’t have to — and ooohhh, boy! Believe it or not, Nicolle Wallace was still going on about the Jan. 6, 2021, “insurrection.” Does anyone at that network have the objectivity to point out to the people in charge that their permanent fixation — “January 6 now! January 6 tomorrow! January 6 forever!” — is irrational? Or do they not care, so long as their core audience continues lapping it up with a spoon? Meanwhile, the family dog was acting like she needed a walk, so I took her out for a while to do her business and, when I returned, Wallace had pivoted to talking about THE GROWING MENACE OF RIGHT-WING EXTREMIST VIOLENCE, with Oren Segal of the Anti-Defamation League as guest.
So I’m watching this and realize that Wallace hasn’t actually changed the subject, but rather that she was trying to suggest a connection between the kind of violence that the ADL was talking about and her “January 6 forever” theme. So I looked up the new report by the ADL’s Center on Extremism entitled, “Murder & Extremism in the United States in 2022,” and the first graphic in the report was this:
The trend in “extremist” murders is . . . DOWN!
According to the ADL, there were 78 such killings in 2016, compared to just 25 in 2022, and of those 25 last year, “60% of the murders [i.e., 15] came from just two incidents — deadly shooting sprees in Buffalo, New York, and Colorado Springs, Colorado.” Then I stared at that sentence for a while, thinking: “OK, I remember the Buffalo shooting, but Colorado Springs? What ‘extremist’ mass murder did I miss there?” So I did a quick Google and realized they were talking about this guy:
Remember that guy? Aldrich killed five people at a gay bar, but this was just a few months after he had been arrested following a four-hour standoff with police, an incident reportedly caused by Aldrich’s anger that his grandparents were moving away. Rather than classifying his murder spree as any kind of “extremism,” I categorized it as further proof that Crazy People Are Dangerous (as if further proof were necessary). Obviously, the ADL disagrees, but I just double-checked and found this in the latest news on the Colorado Springs case:
Aldrich’s public defenders pointed to various medications in his name for schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, and mood regulation, indicating they may be trying for a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity.
So every time a de-institutionalized nutjob commits a crime, we have to examine his lunatic gibberish for a political motive, I guess?
But never mind that. The point is that, even according to the ADL, which has every motive to represent “extremist” violence as a looming threat, the actual numbers of such killings declined in 2022 and, while we’re at it, can we please put this in context of the overall homicide numbers?
According to the FBI, the U.S. had 22,900 homicides in 2021, the most recent year for which such national statistics are available. You see that 25 “extremist” murders are a tiny fraction of this annual total, barely a tenth of one percent (0.109% to be more precise). Of America’s murder victims in 2022, 99.891% were not killed by “extremists.”
Just to put that number into further context, in 2022, Chicago reported 737 homicides, Philadelphia had 526 homicides, Baltimore had 333 homicides, New Orleans had 277 homicides, and St. Louis had 200 homicides. These five cities accounted for a combined total of 2,073 homicides last year — but because none of them were motivated by “extremism,” MSNBC doesn’t care. Murderers in America’s cities can be stacking up corpses to the sky and MSNBC won’t pay the least bit of attention unless there’s an apparent motive of “hate” that might give Nicolle Wallace another opportunity to lecture her audience about the GROWING MENACE OF RIGHT-WING EXTREMISM!
It’s not news, it’s propaganda. It’s about stigmatizing political opposition by conflating Republican voters with “extremist” kooks like that nutjob in Colorado Springs, who should have already been behind bars.
Is Georgia Anti-Trump Grand Jury Forewoman Literally a Witch?
Posted on | February 23, 2023 | 2 Comments
Everybody is talking about the weird media tour by the forewoman of the Atlanta grand jury that was investigating President Trump’s dispute of the 2020 election results in Georgia. This investigation is evidently based on the theory that a candidate who believes he was cheated in an election must be guilty of some kind of crime if he attempts to rectify the alleged cheating. And it’s part of a pattern that Tucker Carlson correctly discerned, i.e., that “partisan prosecutors at all levels, state and federal, are trying to prevent [Trump] from running for president again.” Or to quote Lavrentiy Beria: “Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime.”
Enter, stage left, 30-year-old Emily Kohrs, whose identity was first revealed by the Associated Press, “who has described herself as between customer service jobs and who said she didn’t vote in the 2020 presidential election.” Her appearance in a series of televised interviews has provoked dismay among liberals, who understand that having this giggling fool as the foreman of the grand jury creates grounds for Trump’s lawyers to get any possible indictments quashed.
For some reason, I was under the impression that only the most respectable citizens were chosen to serve on grand juries, but I was apparently mistaken, and Fulton County’s Democratic district attorney, Fani Willis, picked this jury from a randomly selected pool of Fulton County residents. That this grand jury would choose Emily Kohrs as their forewoman — well, what does that tell you?

— Tom Elliott (@tomselliott) February 22, 2023
Everybody has noted the weirdness of this woman with the off-her-meds mannerisms, but what about her interest in witchcraft?
I’M NOT KIDDING, PEOPLE!
Internet sleuths dug up a Pinterest account apparently belonging to Emily Kohrs, which includes two pages crammed with posts about witchcraft, astrology, tarot, crystals, herbs — the usual kooky wicca/pagan stuff that such Seekers of Arcane Knowledge pursue.
(Hat-tip: Gateway Pundit and Stephen Green at Instapundit.)
To many Millennial/Gen Z types, such an interest may not seem particularly odd — all kinds of people are into all kinds of things on social media — but what are the odds that, in choosing a grand jury to investigate the former President of the United States, this kooky young wicca woman would be chosen? Doesn’t this suggest non-random factors may have influenced the jury selection process?
Well, I’m sure Trump’s lawyers must have had a laugh — “WINNING!” — as they got to work on their motions to void the grand jury’s findings, but isn’t this a sad example of what’s wrong with America’s justice system?

Aspiring Rapper Update: 27 Years in Federal Prison for Sex Trafficking
Posted on | February 22, 2023 | Comments Off on Aspiring Rapper Update: 27 Years in Federal Prison for Sex Trafficking
You can’t spell Houston without “ho,” and Ariyon Jackson specialized in providing the supply to meet the demand:
The judge responsible for sentencing a man who pled guilty to child sex trafficking called his crimes “horrific” but she also said she was “struggling over what the right sentence should be.”
She ultimately sentenced Aryion Jackson, who was an aspiring rapper, to 27 years in prison.
Jackson, according to court testimony, kept 12 girls and women in a house in Houston and trafficked them for sex, forcing them to earn $1,000 a day using drugs, threats, and beatings to get them to comply.
The victims of this “aspiring rapper” were as young as 14, and how many clients did Jackson’s victims have to service in order to yield the required $1,000 daily revenue? “According to court documents, they would work on Bissonnet in Houston, and they would perform sex acts for $100 to $300 each.” So if they got $100 per trick, they had to turn 10 tricks a day to make the minimum, which might mean having sex with more than 200 men per month, and Jackson was forcing girls as young as 14 to do this. “Horrific,” indeed. It is suspected that one of his victims was Kristen Galvan, who was only 15 when she was first arrested turning tricks on Bissonett Street in Houston. She was returned home to her family, but disappeared a few weeks later in January 2020.
Her mother, Robyn Cory, says there have been no new leads on Kristen’s whereabouts and, even as he was being sentenced to 27 years in federal prison, Jackson claimed he didn’t know where she was.
More details from the federal prosecutor’s office:
Jackson is a documented gang member [whose] image appeared on a wanted billboard for aggravated sexual assault. He also had numerous Instagram accounts. In one, he discussed being a pimp and posted images of himself with money and guns.
While in custody, Jackson continued to control several victims through phone calls. He was also caught with cell phones and drugs.
Yeah, while in jail awaiting trial, he was still pimping. But now that he’s going to federal prison, he thinks he’s the victim:
In court [Feb. 14], Jackson cried as he apologized to his victims, and their families, he told the judge he “never had a fair chance in life” and asked the judge for mercy. . . .
Aryion Jackson asked the judge for leniency because of his childhood. [His father Steven] Jackson admits his son’s upbringing was troubling with parents often in prison and according to the judge, Jackson’s mom was a prostitute who was addicted to drugs.
“Yes, I did three terms in and out of prison,” [Steven Jackson] said. “I myself was a product of the crack era. I got influenced early and had him young,” . . .
Aryion Jackson’s mother is also charged with sex trafficking. Her trial begins Wednesday.
So, a drug addict and a prostitute have a child who grows up to become a vicious pimp, but when this leads him to prison — where vicious pimps belong — he cries to the judge that he “never had a fair chance in life.” However, “Yung Corleon” wasn’t crying when he was flashing guns and cash on Instagram, forcing teenage girls to walk the streets turning tricks to supply him with $1,000 a day. And we still don’t know what happened to Kristen Galvan, so spare us the crybaby act, Mr. Aspiring Rapper.
UPDATE: On Instagram, Jackson’s handle was @AryDaMFCrip — which is to say “Ary the [Obscenity] Crip,” and he boasted of association with the “Gas Gang” of East Houston. In 2021, three members of the “Gas Gang,” Morgan Kanu-Bradley, Avery James, and DeAnthony Doucet, were sentenced to federal prison for an attack on undercover drug agents:
On Feb. 17, 2019, undercover federal agents had arranged to purchase narcotics from Doucet at a hotel in Houston. There, Kanu-Bradley, James and Doucet held the agents at gunpoint and stole the money they had for the transaction as well as one of their firearms and phone. The men also beat and stomped on one of agents while he was held at gunpoint.
Afterwards, Kanu-Bradley, James and Doucet all fled the scene. Other authorities on the scene pursued and arrested them.
“AryDaMFCrip” was proud to be part of this crew, and of course, he filled his Instagram profile with pictures like this:
Think about how he got that money.
Now think about him crying in the courtroom.
