Am I shocked? Not really, although the details are so despicably evil that President Obama himself should be required to denounce it:

Just a week ago, I reported a call from an Obama supporter received by a Catholic in Pennsylvania. The caller, identifying herself as Catholic, insisted Obama was not pro-abortion and Planned Parenthood did not encourage abortions.
Joy Allen, co-chair of the pro-life committee of her parish, Saints John and Paul in Franklin Park, PA, received another call [Oct. 2]. The first Obama caller had asked for her daughter; the second asked for her son — both are registered Republicans. The call came from 215-796-4259 at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.

This is a scripted attack, which seems to be a “push poll” specifically targeted at Catholics registered as Republican, with the purpose of suppressing the pro-life vote for Mitt Romney. Exactly how widespread it is or who is funding and directing it, we don’t know. Gateway Pundit reported on it last week and pointed out that Obama is the most pro-abortion president in American history. One woman who reported the calls was interviewed on Fox News:

“This is Chicago thugocracy on display. Demoncrats have no morals. Their hero Saul Alinsky taught that the ends justifies the means.”

Indeed, and — remembering that Alinsky dedicated his book Rules for Radicals to Lucifier — these tactics are quite literally Satanic.

New Shotgun Shells Found To Pump Into Zombie ObamaCare?

At Breitbart, we have some splendid news:

An appeals court in Richmond, Va., ruled that the Anti-Injunction Act, or AIA, barred the court from addressing the merits in Liberty Univ., Inc. v. Geithner, which challenged the individual mandate (Section 1501) and the employer insurance mandate (Section 1513) of Obamacare.
In addition to the constitutional arguments that Congress lacked authority to pass the law, the suit also raised the Free Exercise of religion claim because of the forced taxpayer funding of abortion.
You may recall that the first day of oral argument was dedicated to the AIA, the issue that Liberty University’s case placed before the High Court. In June, the Supreme Court ruled that the AIA does not apply to Obamacare. Therefore, Liberty Counsel asked the Court to grant the petition (because Liberty University prevailed on the AIA claim), vacate the Court of Appeals ruling and remand (send back) the case to the Court of Appeals to consider the Free Exercise claim and the employer mandate, neither of which were decided by the High Court.
Long story short: If the Supreme Court ultimately hears the case on appeal – which is highly possible as the claims are unique – and rules that the employer mandate and Free Exercise claims are legit, Obamacare dies on the vine. It’s effectively overturned. It’s like a shiny new Chevy Volt without the exploding battery. It goes nowhere fast and is towed to the junkyard of really, really stupid ideas.
This means, among other things, that people who value human life won’t be made complicit in abortion homicide on the taxpayer dime.

Ultimately, Americans are going to have to continue to vote for candidates who prize liberty more highly than government provided goodies.

Past all of the poise and sharp delivery, Mitt struck a centrist tone during the debate last Wednesday. NTTAWWT. However, our task is to drag the center away from Washington, DC. To paraphrase #OccupyResoluteDesk, we need to “spread the power around”. That isn’t going to happen, however, unless the people demand it. Continuously.

Monday Night Allen Vs. Kaine Debate

George Allen is a seasoned politician. Many might wish for someone more dramatic:

Consider, though, how stoically Allen handled the 2006 propaganda onslaught, led by the WaPo. Long before Cleaver and Clyburn smeared the Tea Party, George Allen was on the receiving end of 107 articles prior to that election with ‘macaca’ in the title. Lest you think this is a nit-pick, Jim Webb was an ObamaCare vote. (Hopefully Webb didn’t spend all 30 pieces of silver in one place.)

And thus he returns, cheerful, to face another former governor, who was proudly the first figure outside of Illinois to endorse Barach Obama.

I look to George Allen for the sort of leadership that is going to be essential, in support of Mitt Romney’s, to help get this country through the reckoning that will follow the Barack Obama’s final official ‘Uhhhhh…’ While we have some notion of the financial wrecking ball that Obama has been, my gut is that a sober, adult review is going to show that we’ve been Quantitatively Eased farther down the road to perdition than we realize. George Allen’s exactly the sort of fellow who will offer leadership for the country, whether or not my Eeyore prediction is borne out.
