Shhh, Breitbart: Let The Studio Squeeze Out ‘Zero Dark Thirty’

Posted on | September 15, 2012 | 7 Comments

by Smitty

Breitbart is making a valid point that, after latest Middle Estern riots, Zero Dark Thirty could be seen as a provocation. Maybe releasing that movie is a bad idea. But consider this:

  • The people staging military attacks with YouTube clips as a pretext could find an insult to the profit in a yoga video. That’s what madmen do with their creativity. So don’t worry about any particular film.
  • This movie is a prime opportunity to schedule protests. The Romney campaign should have tables and literature within legal range of every theater. Tastefully obscured pics of Ambassador Stevens’ corpse, and those bloody handprints on the walls should be prominently displayed to remind everyone that, while Obama makes gutsy calls, others make calls for guts. American guts.

Bring on this lame film, and let everyone understand the colossal loser that is #OccupyResoluteDesk.

Binding Future Congresses

by Smitty

Not disputing Senator Mike Lee’s point here:

It’s true that there isn’t any state* passed from Congress to Congress, the debt, itself, surely counts. Also, mandatory spending, e.g. Social Security, counts. Though one surmises that debt and entitlements can be thought of more as a noose than any specific legal binding, like an international treaty.

So, there is:

My fellow Americans: this November is not the most important election of your lifetimes. This November is a referendum on the 1787 Constitution itself. While not passing myself off as a prophet, the early Obama Administration postvarication, where BHO supported Zelaya in Honduras, before realizing that was tipping his hand too greatly, would come around again in a second Obama Administration.

And given a second four years to drive this country into the dirt, Congress is bound to become as feckless as the Roman Senate in the later years.

In the case where BHO wins re-election, but Congress goes to full GOP control, then it becomes a question of whether Boehner & McConnell are packing the gear to reign in #OccupyResoluteDesk. Left to swing, Boehner & McConnell will swing left.

This is the point of the post-Progressive era: politics is no longer a spectator sport. We’re all on the swim team in the pool of debt, and if you’re not treading water and involved in making your voice heard, you’re drowning.

Allen West Drops the D-Word

“Dhimmitude”!

Congressman Allen West (R-FL) appeared on the Sean Hannity Show September 14 to discuss terrorist attacks on United States embassies in many countries where Islam is the dominant religion. “We’re operating in fantasy land,” West said. “What you see coming from President Obama and the Obama administration is what they call dhimmitude in the Islamic world.”

They’ll never forgive you for that. Or the sandwiches.

As though Mitt Romney is somehow not a private citizen, and lacks the Constitutional right to run for office?

This clip is so bad as to invite the question of just what sort of dirt they have on Matthews. The guy could suck-start a B-52, in my estimation.

UPDATE: Brief bulletin from Reuters:

At least two U.S. Marines were killed during what was described as a complex Taliban attack on base in southern Afghanistan, U.S. officials told Reuters on Friday, speaking on condition of anonymity.
The incident at Camp Bastion in southern Helmand province also left others wounded, the officials said, without offering further details, including on the nationalities of the wounded.

Meanwhile, White House Press Secretary Jay Blow Me explains that this has nothing to do with President Gutsy Call’s policy:

Allahpundit:

Go look at the map of today’s protests assembled by the Atlantic. To the extent that anyone involved actually cares about the movie, what they care about is the fact that the U.S. government refuses to censor it. The government would like to censor it, clearly, but they’re barred by the First Amendment; Islamist totalitarians have trouble with that concept, though, so they’re holding the White House responsible for the film’s publication despite Carney’s obsequious stammering over how mean and disgusting and reprehensible and awful it is. They’re protesting the idea of free speech, in other words, which is supposed to be — supposed to be — “U.S. policy.”

C’mon: Seven freaking points, Ohio?

The Royal Pair: Why Are You Googling for ‘Kate Middleton Topless,’ You Sick Freaks?

Posted on | September 14, 2012 | 37 Comments

Traffic to the blog has gotten a slight and unexpected boost the past couple of days because the entire world, it seems, is Googling for nude photos of Kate Middleton or rather topless photos of Kate Middleton. Don’t bother clicking those links, as they are merely a round-trip ticket back to this post, part of Ye Merry Olde Google Bomb Trick.

Donald Douglas has a post cleverly titled “Kate Middleton Topless” and our friendly Evil Blogger Lady offers “Kate Middleton topless photos? French magazine Closer publishes them. Rule 5 Britannia! Update: Reports of outraged Brits storming French embassy in protest!

It seems that Princess Kate, the bride of England’s Prince William, was sunbathing with her hubby while the couple “enjoyed a mini four-day vacation together last week at a secluded chateau in the south of France” to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.

The royals are pursuing “”legal proceedings for breach of privacy” against the French tabloid that printed the photos, which I will not reproduce here under the professional advice of our Legal Department, a.k.a. Bert the Samoan Lawyer.

However, Bert also advised me that merely viewing the photos — as part of my professional duties to our readership — is perfectly legal, and therefore I can say . . . meh.

A nice pair, a decent natural B-cup, real but not spectacular.

The pictures were shot from an extreme distance with a telephoto lens and thus are rather blurry. Kate’s bikini bottom exposes quite a bit of cheek and she’s shapely enough for a skinny English girl, though once again . . . meh.

Down home, we like ’em with a little more meat on the bone and Kim Kardashian, she ain’t. Sir Mix-a-Lot would not be impressed.

So this is your Obligatory Kate Middle Topless Photo post, and I hope you’re happy with it, you sick freaks.

UPDATE: Kinda weird — Tweeted out this post and got some traffic, but nothing too impressive. Then I Tweeted out a post from last year featuring my hot wife in a bikini . . .

Hot wife in a bikini? #Winning!
