Of Course, He’s Canadian

Police say that Canadian gay porn star Luka Magnotta murdered his Chinese lover, Lin Jun, dismembered the corpse and ate part of it, mailed parts of Lin’s body to Canada’s leading political parties, and posted video of his gruesome crime on the Internet.

There is now an international manhunt for Magnotta, who is believed to have fled to — you guessed, didn’t you? — France.

Rule 5 In WI: Dana Loesch Interviews LtGov Rebecca Kleefisch

Don’t let the fact that this is one knockout interviewing another knockout distract you from the importance of the message: as Wisconsin goes on Tuesday, so goes the rest of the country.
I did donate some money to Gov. Walker, but Kleefisch’s message (in summary, “Don’t get cocky, kid”) is spot on. Things have decayed as far as they have due to overall voter complacency.
Update: video kicked below the fold for reasons of obnoxious autoplay.

‘Supidity’ Indeed. In Mathematical Terms, It’s Like Saying 2+2=3

Bill Quick is taken aback at the postulated indifference toward the gay Green Lantern comic from DC:

Why? Because mom and dad are such freaking idiots they think their kids will catch the dread gay disease from reading a comic book?
I’m gobsmacked.

This is the same Lefty media that brought you, in no particular order:

  • Barack Hussein Obama
  • Anthropogenic Global Warming
  • Butchery of the unborn
  • Orwellian Progressivism
  • and so on

Do I cling bitterly do my Western, Christian tradition in the face of this onslaught?

Am I concerned that my 10 month know how to swim before his feet no longer touch bottom in our effluent culture?

If somebody were to proclaim that 2+2=3, would it take some sophistication to respect the speaker’s free speech right to be completely jacked up about math, while gently refusing to let the speaker serve as one’s accountant? My example may seem absurd, but consider Madoof and Corzine.

Face it: the gay Green Lantern will go over about as well as gay marriage, when voters are actually given a chance to express their preference, an not told what to think by the judiciary. But this could actually be part of a second Obama term plan by DC, come to think of it. Drive their sales through the floor so that #OccupyResoluteDesk has to bail out comic books, and nationalize them.

Then, via taxes, I could be forced to pay for comics I don’t even want to read. Call it ‘a higher form of gay’.

Update: linked at The Daley Gator: ” I really do not care about Gay marriage one way or the other, but I do wish that we would let our kids be kids.”

Update: Linked at Andrew J. Patrick, who has some deep comic book thoughts.

When Neal Rauhauser Complained About ‘Menacing’ and ‘Cyberstalking’

Posted on | June 2, 2012 | 61 Comments

FROM AN UNDISCLOSED LOCATION
As September 2010 came to an end, Neal Rauhauser’s “beandogs” operation was rapidly imploding. Using his “WingNutWatch” Twitter account, Rauhauser had “organized a group of E-Thugs meant to harass, threaten, provoke, disparage, intimidate, verbally assault, berate & employ hate-speech against those not in agreement with his brand of politics,” as conservative blogger Patrick Read said at the time.

The “TwitterGate” story was a brief blip in the blogospheric consciousness: An ugly online spat between Left and Right that seemed rather silly to those who did not grasp two key facts:

  1. Rauhauser was a paid consultant with the Progressive PST firm, providing “social media” services to Democrat candidates; and
  2. Rauhauser has described himself as a “hacker.”

Fact 2 could be dismissed as mere boasting — Rauhauser may have exaggerated his hacking skills — yet it is nonetheless relevant in light of Fact 1: Why would candidates for public office hire someone who bragged of his ability to engage in deceptive and potentially criminal activity? What services did Rauhauser’s clients expect him to deliver?

Whatever Rauhauser was getting paid for, what he was evidently doing in 2010 — as Patrick Read and others have documented — was organizing and directing a mob of pseudonymous Twitter trolls who sent a steady stream of abusive comments at Tea Party activists online. Care to see a few of the messages sent by Rauhauser’s “beandogs”? (Warning: Extremely Graphic Language.) Read more

The situation in Syria isn’t a laughing matter. U.S. foreign policy, however, is. This whole clip is quite good, but skip to 2:53 for good justice:The guy playing the U.S. ambassador is a reborn Tommy Chong.

Via The Tatler, the National Review:

Administration officials told the Journal that Walesa is too “political.” A man who was arrested by Soviet officials for dissenting against the government for being “political” is being shunned by the United States of America for the same reason 30 years later.
Meanwhile, one of the recipients of the Medal was Dolores Huerta, the honorary chair of the Democratic Socialists of America. So socialist politics are acceptable, but not the politics of a man who stood up and fought socialism.
This revelation follows an eruption of outrage in Poland after President Obama referred in his remarks at the Medal of Freedom ceremony to “Polish death camps,” a phrase that Poles have battled since the end of the Cold War. The phrase suggests that Poles were complicit in Nazi concentration camps, which of course is not the case. In fact, Poles were exterminated in the camps.

Eschewing even a beer summit with Lech Walesa, #OccupyResoluteDesk had somebody toss off a letter to the Poles. HotAir concludes with Presley covering Sinatra. This blog sees Morrissey’s Elvis and raises him a possible Polish response, Devo covering the Stones:
