CPAC: Pamela Geller And Robert Spencer Strike Again

by Smitty

In the Rock Star Blogger pantheon, few exceed Pamela and Robert for lasting impact.

It’s one thing to carve out a blog, and quite another to do something like bring Geert Wilders to CPAC 2009. What do these two do for an encore? The Freedom Defense Initiative.

This blog in particular looks forward to meeting LtCol Allen West as a part of FDI. May Fortune continue to bless the efforts of these two stalwarts.

Also, Pamela just endorsed Rick Barber, and Stacy McCain approves of that message.

CPAC: Items On The Horizon from Mattera the Online Tax Revolt

by Smitty

At lunch today with Jason Mattera, who took enough time off from afflicting the comfortably elected to write a book

Mattera, the Wizard of OZ

During lunch, we had a visit from Kevin M., with a press release for the Online Tax Revolt, which is purportedly live today. According to the hard copy press release I was given, participants will sign up, get an avatar, possibly have that avatar join a team, and those clumps of people will march on DC for tax day.

In other words, I speculate wildly, this will apparently be some kind of online interactive petition. It could be a fun and lively outing, especially with FaceBook integration. We’ll see. In any case, there will probably be some sort of demonstration on the Mall on Tax Day, so do set aside time for that.

The Protocols of the Elders of CTHULHU XV. The Coups

by Smitty (INTRODUCTION)

His own chair was a torture device made of small yellow-white objects…teeth. The chair fought with the air to steal the most heat from his body.

The speaker seemed to pay no heed to the functionary until his regular path brought him in arm’s reach of the hooded one. “Your failure to maintain this place has marred the perfection of my presentation. At the next failure, your assistant will bring me your head on a charger. Go.”
Wordlessly, the functionary did an about face and departed the room. The speaker continued, having moved from the topic of debasing human religions in preparation for their replacement to discussing the nature of using organizations to eradicate each other and further the goals of CTHULHU.
Later, a second light bulb failed.

“Murder is a straightforward thing, often requiring little that is remarkable or memorable beyond a victim.
The artist, however, seeking the full experience, would know the victim, encourage the victim in the direction of suicide, and assume front rank at the funural.
Victims can be enjoined to manage the demise of other victims before handling their own case, of course; economy of style is a hallmark of art.
Thus, given the vast quilt of existing organizations under the sun that predate our current effort, the most artistic thing to do would be to use them against each other.
We are certain in the singularity of our purpose, with the final merger of the Human Union and the Committee To Harmonize Universal Law.
So we will find their victim-leaders, and subvert them.

You cannnot imagine to what extent the wisest of the [proletariat] can be brought to a state of unconscious naïveté in the presence of this condition of high conceit of themselves, and at the same time how easy it is to take the heart out of them by the slightest ill-success, though it be nothing morer than the stoppage of the applause thtey had, and to reduce them to a slavish submission for the sake of winning a renewal of success.

The world’s biggest ideoloigcal loser is our winner, and there is none greater than…”

CPAC 2010: Liz Cheney Brings The Beatdown

by Smitty

Liz Cheney’s talk at CPAC is a thorough critique of the administration’s security policy.
The fact that the Justice Department has logged more hours investigating the CIA than the CIA has logged interrogating the foe is quite damning.
She’s also touting her site, Keep America Safe. The administration’s attention is drawn to somebody with a clue.

Surprise Dick Cheney!
1252 A welcome like that is almost enough to make me want to run for office, but I’m notta gonna do it.
1254 I think 2010 is gonna be a phenominal year in conservative thought, and I think Barack Obama is a one-term president.

CPAC Day 1.0: Marco and Me

WASHINGTON, D.C.
After sundry misadventures this morning, I’m now online in the Bloggers Lounge at CPAC. Last night, I got on an elevator here at the fabulous Marriott Wardman Park Hotel and thought I recognized one of my fellow passengers. “Excuse me, but you look familiar. I’m Robert Stacy McCain . . .”

“Hi, I’m Marco Rubio,” he said. I then mentioned that I started the Not One Red Cent blog. “Wow, yeah — that’s great!” said the future Senator from Florida, adding, “Hey, your camera’s pink.”

MORE TO COME . . .

The Protocols of the Elders of CTHULHU XIV. Replacement Religion

by Smitty (INTRODUCTION)

Across the table, the African leader was shown to a chair covered in some leather. He briefly saw the seat, a remarkably human-looking face stretched into an expression of shock and terror, before the African was seated, blocking the view. The arm rests were covered in arms, ending in all-too-realistic hands.

The speaker looked at the light, then touched below the front corner of the table when his movement took him there next. Had he deviated even slightly from his pattern to move there? The level of control of the meeting was astounding. The fact that a light bulb in the overhead had gone out seemed a phenomenal slip.
Why this seemingly minor loss of control should seem so significant can only be attributed to the madness being brought on by this endless meeting, stuck in a room with eleven remaining living victims, wondering how this possibly would end.
The squid in the fishbowl seemed to move its mantle in a tiny circular motion.
The door opened, and another functionary entered, as the speaker droned on about the topic of religion.

“Religion, for whatever reason, is among the oldest, most widespread, and ultimately challenging obstacles we face.
We do relish the challenge, however. Broadly, Oriental thought is significantly easier to work with. As long as the subject thinks the action is a karmic win, anything goes. Asian cultures, perhaps as a function of population density, seem to understand the need to succumb to our will more readily than others.
Occidental thought, not so much. These faiths that focus on indivduality and lack the refreshment of reincarnation seem to make people less mallable.
We have made much progress in modern times with high-yield explosives and through the use of literature that attacks the basic human instinct for self preservation.
Broadly, attacks on culture have been immensely successful.

In countries know as progressive and enlightened we have created a senseless, filthy, abominable literature.

That societal decay function, combined with our academic attacks, especially the social sciences, has been an effective wrecking ball for the Occidental spirit.”
