Rayshard Brooks’ Girlfriend Arrested

Posted on | June 23, 2020 | Comments Off on Rayshard Brooks’ Girlfriend Arrested

Her lawyer denies she burned down the Wendy’s:

The woman named as a suspect in the Wendy’s restaurant fire that broke out during protests over Rayshard Brooks’ death in Atlanta has been arrested and is facing charges of first-degree arson, authorities said Tuesday.
The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed in a tweet that Natalie White was in custody and being booked into the county jail.
White’s lawyer, Drew Findling, said his client did not start the June 13 fire.
When asked by CNN whether his client knew Rayshard Brooks, Findling said, “Yes, but I will not comment on the extent of their relationship.”
Findling said he wanted to keep the focus on what he called the “tragic and unnecessary death of Rayshard Brooks,” whose funeral was held Tuesday.
Previously, CNN reported investigators were looking into whether Brooks and White knew each other.
In body camera video released by police, Brooks can be heard telling the officers who questioned him that Natalie White was his girlfriend.

UPDATE: In a comment to the New York Post, Ms. White’s lawyer went so far as to admit that his client was “good friends” with Brooks.

The Hotepping of America

Posted on | June 23, 2020 | 1 Comment

Do you know what “hotep” means? Supposedly, hotep is an ancient Egyptian word meaning “peace,” but the word has become slang for promoters of a crude system of Afrocentric beliefs, with overtones of black nationalism tending toward paranoid conspiracy theories:

In Afrocentrism and black nationalism of the late 20th century, influenced by the “Black Egyptian hypothesis”, “Hotep” was adopted as a formula or greeting. Since the 1990s, “a Hotep” has come to be used to refer to a proponent of radical or fanatical black nationalism.

What are #BlackLivesMatter and “The 1619 Project” except the reconstruction of American culture to reflect such beliefs? It can be demonstrated, as a matter of statistical certainty, that racist police brutality is actually rare, and certainly not an epidemic requiring a “national conversation.” Yet we see plenty of white fools literally bending the knee in obeisance to what is merely an elaborate version of the “blame whitey” hotep mentality, dressed up in academic jargon.

This is why you have ignorant mobs attacking statues of practically every white person who has ever been honored with a statue. Because history is not taught properly in our schools — and logic is not taught at all — young people are easily duped by propaganda, and willing to engage in criminal acts of destruction, so long as they are furnished with slogans to convince them that “social justice” is thereby advanced.

Why do you think we see so many allegedly “educated” white people pushing themselves to the forefront of these riotous protests? Because they are not sufficiently street-smart to recognize the distinct scent of paranoid nonsense. They have been completely hotepped.

Black People Celebrate ‘Juneteenth’ Weekend by Shooting Each Other

Posted on | June 23, 2020 | 1 Comment

You can’t blame racist police for this:

Three people were killed and at least 11 hurt early Monday after a multi-day street party erupted in lots of gunfire in northwest Charlotte, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.
Five of the injured people were struck by cars as they began scrambling across streets away from the chaotic scene, police said. Three of the people who were injured are fighting for their lives, police said.
There have been no arrests, no suspects and no indication of a motive for the killings yet. . . .
“It was a very, very chaotic scene,” Deputy Chief Gerald Smith said at the news conference. “This was a mass casualty incident.” . . .
Jennings described the outdoor event as a multi-day “impromptu block party” for Juneteenth that had been running off-and-on since Friday.
The official Juneteenth celebration included a March through the neighborhood Friday but continued in several unofficial celebrations throughout the weekend, Smith said.
Juneteenth celebrates the events of June 19, 1865, when the last of the nation’s enslaved people learned they had been set free by the Emancipation Proclamation.
Witnesses told WBTV the neighborhood’s Juneteenth affair had been “a happy, peaceful celebration” prior to the violence. Street racing and drivers “doing donuts in the road” had been part of the celebration, witnesses told the station.
Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles issued a statement calling the shootings “a senseless act of violence” that marred the holiday festivities. “What should have been a joyous celebration of freedom, became a moment where people lost their lives,” Lyles said in a series of tweet.
“How tragic is this?” Lyles told WCNC TV. “This is the heart beat of the Black community. This is our city, our neighborhood, our people … We’ve had a lot in the last couple of years, but this has to be the worst.”

Just go ahead and tear down some more Confederate statues, because obviously dead guys from 150 years ago are to blame for this.

The Definition of ‘Execrable’

Posted on | June 22, 2020 | 1 Comment

The word originally meant, deserving of curses:

Nikole Hannah-Jones, the lead writer for the New York Times’ “1619 Project,” caught backlash Sunday for telling people to “read” a conspiracy theory about the use of fireworks being an attack by the government “on Black and Brown communities.”
Hannah-Jones’ “1619 Project” suggests America’s “true founding” was when the first slaves arrived in 1619 and “aims to reframe the country’s history.” The NYT writer won a Pulitzer Prize in commentary for her work related to the “1619 Project,” despite numerous historians raising objections to some of its claims.
“Read this,” Hannah-Jones tweeted Sunday about a conspiracy theory suggesting the government was planning attacks on minority communities. The post suggested that the numerous fireworks going off in Brooklyn over the past two weeks is actually “part of a coordinated attack on Black and Brown communities by government forces.”
This alleged “attack” is intended “to disorient and destabilize the #BlackLivesMatter movement,” the claim, written by author Robert Jones Jr., reads. Hannah-Jones appeared to delete her tweet and deactivate her Twitter following backlash. She appeared to [reactivate] her account shortly after, according to reports.

She is certainly deserving of curses.

Of course, if fireworks are “part of a coordinated attack,” you’ll want to help support my family’s Fourth of July fireworks show. Because racism.

A Death in Antifastan

Posted on | June 21, 2020 | Comments Off on A Death in Antifastan

Gosh, it seems criminal gangs are operating in the cop-free zone:

Seattle police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead and another critically injured inside Seattle’s so-called “CHOP” or Capitol Hill Organized Protest zone.
The 911 calls to report shots fired in Cal Anderson Park, near the intersection of 10th Ave. and E. Pine Street started coming in at about 2:19 a.m. Saturday, according to city of Seattle officials.
At 2:25 a.m., Seattle Fire Department medics responded and were awaiting Seattle police to secure the scene before going into the CHOP, which is standard procedure for the fire department. Seattle police arrived at about 2:28 a.m. but weren’t able to get inside the CHOP zone.
Police tried to find the shooting victims but were met by a “violent crowd” that prevented the officers from safely accessing the victims, according to a release from Seattle police Saturday. . . .
Police later discovered both shooting victims were taken to Harborview Medical Center in private vehicles by CHOP medics.
The first victim, a 19-year-old man arrived at Harborview at 2:42 a.m., according to a Seattle fire dispatch log provided by city officials. The man died from his injuries, police said. The second victim, a 33-year-old man, arrived at Harborview at about 3:06 a.m. and remains in critical condition as of Sunday afternoon. . . .
Organizers of the CHOP sent a statement to KING 5, that said in part no one official was denying Seattle police or fire entry to the area.
“No one within the CHOP denied entry to PD within any organizational capacity. Officers deciding on their own not to enter an area is not the same as being denied entry,” read the statement. “We as safety teams are peacekeepers, not police. We do not want to be homicide detectives, or CSI, or accessories to this murder. We still want what we wanted from day one, justice for all.”
In the statement, organizers also said the people involved in the shooting may have a previous history and “the situation escalated because of gang affiliations,” however, the involvement of gangs in the shooting has not been confirmed by police. . . .
Maryellen Donnelly lives across the street from where the shooting happened and heard the gunshots. She said she’s begged lawmakers to intervene for everyone’s safety.
“We need help, we live here, we need to not be ignored, there needs to be a dialogue. I think the initial protest has gotten lost,” said Donnelly.

See, there’s no point trying to help liberals, who will believe any lie, so long as the liars speak in the rhetoric of “social justice.”

What, exactly, what “the initial protest” about? An anarchist mob started rioting in Seattle because of what happened in Minneapolis? Because police in Seattle are racist? There was no actual grievance in Seattle, so the “protest” had no real purpose. It was simply an excuse for anarchists and other criminals to assemble and commit violence. The city’s mayor simply ordered the abandonment of a police precinct and surrendered an entire neighborhood to this dangerous mob, and we are surprised that gang-bangers are settling scores in the “autonomous zone”? We are surprised that this neighborhood has become a lawless jungle?

Elect Democrats, and this is what you get.
