The Pervert Party: Anthony Weiner Could Get 15 Years in Prison for Child Porn
Posted on | February 1, 2017 | Comments Off on The Pervert Party: Anthony Weiner Could Get 15 Years in Prison for Child Porn
In July 2013, after former Democrat Rep. Anthony Weiner was caught “sexting” for the second time, I wrote a column for The American Spectator with a deliberately provocative title: “The Pervert Party”:
Perhaps now someone at the New York Times or the Washington Post will ask Patrick Frey what happens to bloggers who call attention to Anthony Weiner’s persistent fascination with young females. Or perhaps not. Either way, longtime readers of Frey’s Patterico blog know all about how, after he produced some of the most interesting research during the 2011 WeinerGate scandal, Frey was “SWATted” — the victim of a dangerous type of 911 hoax that dispatched armed police to Frey’s Los Angeles home, where the hoaxer had falsely reported a violent crime.
Whatever anyone might say about that incident, it certainly was not a coincidence, nor was it coincidental that liberal media organizations were perfectly willing to assist in Weiner’s political rehabilitation. There was a reason, after all, that Weiner’s young cybersex partner told her tale to a gossip blog, rather than to any major newspaper or TV network. If a conspicuously married Democrat politician is engaged in sleazy shenanigans with a 22-year-old, no respectable liberal journalist wants to break that story. In 2011, it was Andrew Breitbart who turned Anthony Weiner’s sordid secrets into a national drama that drove the New York congressmen to resign in disgrace. . . .
You can read the whole thing, if you wish to remind yourself of what was made apparent by Weiner’s disgrace, both in terms of the degradation of culture, and the role of the liberal media and the Democrat Party in enabling that degradation. In retrospect, it should have been obvious that a middle-aged married politician seeking out a 22-year-old “sugar baby” for online sex chats, after he has already been caught once in such affairs, was in the throes of a helpless and perverse obsession. A man so reckless as to be willing to destroy not only his reputation, but also his political career and his marriage, for the sake of kinky conversations with Sydney Leathers, probably was too far gone to recover. When Weiner was caught yet a third time in August 2016, however, it became evident that he was also willing to risk serious legal consequences:
Disgraced pervert and former congressman Anthony Weiner could soon face child-pornography charges as a result of a federal investigation into his electronic exchanges with a 15-year-old girl.
The FBI began investigating Weiner after the Daily Mail reported that the notorious “dick pic” enthusiast had exchanged in sexually explicit messaging with the underage girl. Writing under the pseudonym “T Dog,” Weiner reportedly asked the 15-year-old to dress up like a “school girl” and engage in “rape fantasies.” He allegedly told the girl he “would bust that tight p—y hard and so often that you would leak and limp for a week.”
It was federal investigators probing Weiner who uncovered emails potentially related to the Hillary Clinton investigation on several of Weiner’s electronic devices, prompting FBI director James Comey to inform members of Congress. Many Democrats have suggested Comey’s actions in response to the Weiner probe findings may have cost Hillary Clinton the election.
Weiner’s estranged wife, Huma Abedin, was a senior adviser to Clinton at the State Department, and maintained a prominent role in her presidential campaign.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Weiner’s attorneys have been in discussion with federal prosecutors in recent weeks, and have urged them not to bring serious charges in the case. The most serious charge Weiner could face is production of child pornography, because he allegedly solicited sexually explicit images from the underage girl. If convicted, Weiner could face a 15-year mandatory minimum jail sentence.
Lesser charges Weiner might face include receipt of child pornography or possession of child pornography. The former carries a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in prison, while the latter charge has no mandatory minimum.
(Via Memeorandum.) Even if we could leave aside our moral judgment of Weiner’s behavior, we would still be left to contemplate the strictly pragmatic issues involved in his case. It can be fairly argued that Weiner caused Hillary Clinton’s defeat last November, not only because of Comey’s FBI investigation, but also because Weiner’s third sexting scandal called attention to his wife, Clinton’s personal aide Huma Abedin. This in turn reminded many people of the widely held opinion, dating back to the 1990s, that Bill and Hillary have an “arrangement” in their marriage. And, of course, this rekindled speculation about Hillary’s own sexual preferences. Were such opinions and speculation fair to the Clintons? Fairness doesn’t count for much in politics.
Why is it, after all, that the Republican Party has long enjoyed strong support from so-called “values voters”? Isn’t it true that Democrats are the party that celebrates abortion and homosexuality? And what kind of people do we expect to find holding leadership positions in such a party? Republicans have certainly suffered their share of ugly sex scandals in recent years (e.g., Denny Hastert), and such hypocrisy is deeply offensive to those conservatives who expect their leaders to “walk the walk.” However, when a Democrat like Weiner is caught in such a scandal, it could be argued, his behavior is entirely consistent with the policies his party advocates. Democrats are the Pervert Party, and Anthony Weiner is therefore the perfect symbol of his party’s values.

Trump Nominates ‘Worthy’ Judge; Democrats Go Into Full-On Panic Mode

Ramesh Ponnuru at National Review calls Neil Gorsuch a “worthy” appointee to the Supreme Court, “a well-respected conservative whose legal philosophy is remarkably similar to that of Antonin Scalia, the justice he will replace if the Senate confirms him.”
The “if” in that sentence expresses a contingency that is difficult to estimate at this point. Democrats are still butt-hurt because when Scalia died in an election year, the Republican majority in the Senate refused to take action on Obama’s nomination of Merrick Garland for the vacant seat. Whatever one may think of that controversy, that was last year’s fight and Republicans won it — not only was Donald Trump elected president, but the Garland nomination didn’t hurt the GOP in Senate elections last fall, either. We might therefore conclude that the people ratified the Republican opposition to Obama’s SCOTUS nominee. Yet the Democrats in the Senate evidently don’t recognize the legitimacy of either the Trump presidency or the GOP Senate majority. Many vowed to invoke the filibuster against Trump’s court nominee, even before it was known who the president would nominate:
With Trump prepared to announce his nominee on Tuesday evening, Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.) said in an interview on Monday morning that he will filibuster any pick that is not Merrick Garland and that the vast majority of his caucus will oppose Trump’s nomination. That means Trump’s nominee will need 60 votes to be confirmed by the Senate. . . .
It’s a move that will prompt a massive partisan battle over Trump’s nominee and could lead to an unraveling of the Senate rules if Merkley is able to get 41 Democrats to join him in a filibuster. Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) also reminded her Twitter followers on Sunday night that Supreme Court nominees can still be blocked by the Senate minority, unlike all other executive and judicial nominees.
There are 48 Democrats in the Senate, so getting 41 votes to filibuster Gorsuch is a possibility. However, 2018 is going to be “a very bad midterm election for Senate Democrats,” where they will be defending 23 seats, including deep-red states (Indiana, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota and West Virginia) and swing states (Florida, Ohio, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Virginia). If Democrats filibuster Gorsuch, this could very well mean the doom of incumbent senators like Bill Nelson (Florida), Claire McCaskill (Missouri) and Jon Tester (Montana). So the hysterical screeching from Democrats over the Gorsuch nomination (“a very bad decision,” says Nancy Pelosi) reflects the depth of their existential crisis in the Trump era. The people who elect liberals like Chuck Schumer and Amy Klobuchar are not the people who will decide the fate of Bill Nelson and Claire McCaskill. In a divided nation, the Democrat Party’s leaders are clearly out of touch with half the country.

‘Religious Overtones’
Posted on | January 31, 2017 | 2 Comments
“‘Ye shall be as gods’ (Genesis 3:5) was the false promise of Satan’s original lie, and the sinful idea that human beings can defy God, living according to our own beliefs without respect to God’s law, has been a cause of violence and evil in the world ever since.”
— Robert Stacy McCain, April 1, 2016
My friend The Political Hat occasionally posts links to my stuff over at Reddit, and the other day he posted my “Feminism Is a Hate Movement” to the Men’s Rights subreddit, where the first comment was, “On the one hand, he’s right about Donna Hylton… on the other hand, what the hell is with the religious overtones?” Apparently, there aren’t many Christians on Reddit, and I have noticed that Men’s Rights activists (MRAs) tend toward secularism, if not indeed toward Dawkins-style “New Atheism.”
Ideas Have Consequences, and it may be that MRA atheism is a non-random factor in their antagonism toward women. Let me point out that I do not consider opposing feminism (i.e., a crypto-Marxist ideology) to be “anti-woman,” nor do I consider it “misogyny” to criticize individual feminists (i.e., the activists who promote this anti-male ideology).
As I’ve explained before, I’m not an MRA, because I don’t believe in the collectivist social-justice concept of group “rights.” Our civilization is breaking down specifically because of this “Us-versus-Them” identity-politics mentality that the Democrat Party encourages. Friends of liberty cannot “win” by playing the game according to the Left’s rulebook. What is necessary, I believe, is to force the Left to defend the premises of their arguments, e.g., their assumption that “equality” is either desirable or possible. (Hayek addressed this in The Mirage of Social Justice.)
Why “religious overtones” in criticizing feminism? Well, feminism’s fanatical support for abortion means that they automatically alienate Catholics, along with all others who share a religious respect for human life. What part of “Thou shalt not kill” do I need to explain here? And feminists also generally advocate sexual immorality, further offending the religious faithful. Therefore, as an opponent of feminism, you will find some of your strongest supporters among Bible-believing women. Anyone would be a fool to attempt fighting feminism without “religious overtones.” Why forsake such a powerful weapon? You do not have to preach a sermon in every argument, but the basic wrongness of feminism is most apparent in the movement’s implacable hostility toward Christianity. (See “The Radical Theology of Feminism,” April 1, 2016.)
Do feminists really believe they can win a war against God? “Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?” (Psalm 2:1 KJV). The shepherd boy slew the blaspheming Philistine, and the Lord’s anointed will ultimately prevail. “Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man” (Ecclesiastes 12:13 KJV). Selah.
There is evil in the world, and the Reddit commenter scolded me for saying as much, when I quoted Michael Voris’s description of the Women’s March on Washington as a “diabolical” event organized by women who “hate God and cannot tolerate their consciences.” Does anyone doubt this? Well, you’re free to believe what you want to believe, but any Christian who studies feminism cannot help but recognize its satanic nature. (Recall how Samantha Couchoud Field’s embrace of feminism led her to become an advocate of abortion, bisexuality, BDSM, socialism, and witchcraft. Yes, of course, she was at the Women’s March.)
Evil exists, and God-haters are dangerous:
A self-proclaimed “antitheist” was sentenced to life in prison for killing his Christian flatmate over her religion.
The 25-year-old Daniel E. was sentenced to life in prison by a court in Freiburg on Monday for killing his Christian student flatmate last August in a crime ruled to be motivated by hate and disdain.
The 31-year-old victim from Paderborn had first met her killer when she moved into a student flatshare last summer. The young woman was an active member of her parish who wanted to later work for the church.
But Daniel E. vehemently rejected any form of religion, and twice before killing her had tried to start a fight, he told police.
On the day of the murder . . . he stormed into her room and asked her what her stance was on same-sex marriage. When she said that she rejected this kind of marriage, he stabbed her while she sat on her bed, with a knife hidden in his trouser pocket. . . .
“He killed her as a representative of her religion because he could not kill all believers,” the judge said.
He had written about his hatred of religion days beforehand in a “manifesto” found on his computer, along with violent video games and films.
An expert testified that [Daniel E.] had seen Hannibal Lecter from the film The Silence of the Lambs as a role model.
What part of “Thou shall not kill” do I need to explain here? If there is no God, there can be no transcendent moral truth. Feminists justify their evil by denying that there is such a thing as truth, or any kind of moral law. This leads to the “Us-versus-Them” mentality, and thus the Hobbesian war of all against all (bellum omnium contra omnes).
As I have said, we should beware of the sinful idea that “human beings can defy God, living according to our own beliefs without respect to God’s law.” You are free to believe what you wish, and I am free to tell you that you’re wrong. Do you doubt that the Women’s March was satanic in nature? Then obviously you weren’t paying attention. Do you think you’re going to defeat Satan without God’s help? Then you are a fool.
Excuse my “religious overtones,” but I know what evil looks like.
These women are quite literally demon-possessed, servants of Satan, under the control of diabolical forces of darkness.

Do you recognize what she is holding in her right hand? Now, try to imagine the cacophony of demonic voices inside her head that have persuaded this woman that she is “empowered.” While you’re at it, try to imagine what her parents must think of what their daughter has become. What a horror it must be to see your own child embrace the lunatic madness of feminism, and turn herself into such a disgusting spectacle. What feminism has done to that deranged young woman, it seeks to do to our entire country. Is there any public school in America today where the teachers don’t endorse feminism? Are there any professors on college campuses speaking out against this soul-destroying ideology? And if the entire secular education establishment, along with the news media and the entertainment industry, are all promoting feminism, how can any parent hope to save their children from this monstrous evil?
People need to start praying, and praying hard.
Anti-Trump ‘Resistance’ Protests Led by Convicted Sex Offender Micah Rhodes
Posted on | January 31, 2017 | 4 Comments
One of the leaders of disorderly anti-Trump protests in Portland, Oregon is facing sexual abuse charges after a police investigation into his relationship with a teenage boy, local news outlets are reporting.
Micah Rhodes, who was expected in court Monday, is a leader of the protest group Portland’s Resistance. The 23-year-old Rhodes is already a registered sex offender, according to KOIN, and was previously arrested for disorderly conduct in connection with anti-Trump protests after the election.
Rhodes was first taken into custody at an anti-Trump protest on Jan. 25.
Rhodes allegedly met the teenage boy on gay dating app Grindr. The teen told police that Rhodes knew he was a minor before they had sex, but that the two did so on multiple occasions anyway. The charges are for statutory, non-forced rape, local news outlets are reporting.
Portland has been the site of ongoing violent protests against Donald Trump.
On Monday, the Oregon State Police Sex Offender Registration Unit confirmed Rhodes is a registered sex offender. . . .
Rhodes became a registered sex offender following convictions of first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree sodomy, according to court records. Details of his conviction remain unknown because under state law juvenile records are not publicly available. . . .
Court documents also show a police report was filed with PPB in 2015 after an employee with the Oregon Youth Authority, the agency supervising Rhodes’ parole, learned of the suspected abuse.
Portland Police Sgt. Pete Simpson said detectives are now looking into the possibility of additional victims.
“We going to continue to investigate, and anybody that does have information or knowledge of other victims, we’d like them to come forward,” Simpson said.
Rhodes is a well-known community activist. He has led several recent protests, including one with dozens of high school students. . . .
His bail for the new sex crimes has been set at $20,000; however, he is being held on a facility hold with the Oregon Youth Authority for allegedly violating his parole.
So, it appears, Rhodes was convicted of sexual abuse when he was still a juvenile himself, and then became a “community activist” in Portland, concealing his status as a registered sex offender and using a gay dating app to hook up with at least one underage boy, allegedly.
Micah Rhodes was part of an anti-police protest group:
Mayor Charlie Hales met with members of a Portland activist group [Sept. 27], addressing concerns about protest policing and purported police brutality, among other topics.
Protesters from activist group Don’t Shoot Portland also queried him about police discipline and training, racial profiling and what he’s doing to help black people during an informal Q&A outside City Hall.
The meeting took place more than 3 hours after schedule, as Hales said he moved the forum to a Northeast Portland church because he didn’t want to see protesters occupy City Hall.
But activists stayed put outside City Hall — which they adorned with a large banner proclaiming “#BLACKLIVESMATTER” — until he arrived. . . .
Micah Rhodes, one of Don’t Shoot Portland’s leaders, said officers pepper-sprayed him after he tried to stop one of them from riding a bicycle into a protester.
Rhodes ran up to the officer and told him to stop. Then, an officer cursed at him and pepper-sprayed him, he said.
The protest mob had a sit-in at the mayor’s house in October:
Activists from the group Don’t Shoot Portland set up camp outside Mayor Charlie Hales’ house [Oct. 14] with tents, food and other supplies, demanding recourse for their treatment in a City Hall face-off earlier this week with police.
About 100 people started marching to Hales’ home in Eastmoreland, carrying signs and chanting. At first, they pitched about five tents across the street, but the collection was growing as darkness fell and included tents next to the mayor’s house.
Organizer Micah Rhodes said the group could stay camped out for a couple of days if necessary. “We won’t leave if a storm comes,” he said.
Congratulations, Micah Rhodes! Your effort to get the Portland police to pay attention to you has succeeded. Enjoy your time in prison.

Canadian Terrorist Update
Posted on | January 31, 2017 | Comments Off on Canadian Terrorist Update
Canada is America’s most dangerous enemy, and not just because of the deranged slut Meghan Murphy. Canada is the Un-America, a country whose national character is warped by a spiteful inferiority complex toward the United States. Oh, “not all Canadians,” some will say, and it’s arguably true that there are a few good Canadians, including Kathy Shaidle and Ezra Levant, but they are the exceptions that prove the rule.
Canada is a lunatic asylum with 35 million inmates, and no one is really surprised when bad things happen in Canada. So when it was reported that there had been an attack on a mosque in Quebec, I was not among those who jumped to the wrong conclusion about this incident. There were reports that the gunman was a Moroccan Muslim, but I just waited for the facts to come out and, yeah, Canadians are dangerous:
The suspect in the deadly attack on a Quebec City mosque was known in the city’s activist circles as an online troll who was inspired by extreme right-wing French nationalists, stood up for U.S. President Donald Trump and was against immigration to Quebec — especially by Muslims.
Alexandre Bissonnette, 27, a student at Laval University, grew up on a quiet crescent in the Cap-Rouge suburb of Quebec City and lived in an apartment a few kilometres away.
His online profile and school friendships revealed little interest in extremist politics until last March, when France’s far-right National Front Leader Marine Le Pen visited Quebec City, inspiring Mr. Bissonnette to vocal extreme online activism, according to people who clashed with him starting around this time.
Vincent Boissoneault, a student in international relations at Laval University, knew Mr. Bissonnette from childhood and was friends with him on Facebook. . . .
“I wrote him off as a xenophobe. I didn’t even think of him as totally racist, but he was enthralled by a borderline racist nationalist movement.
“It never occurred to me he might be violent,” Mr. Boissoneault added, referring to the hard-line anti-immigration sentiment growing in popularity in Europe and elsewhere.
François Deschamps, an employment counsellor who runs a refugee-support Facebook page, said he immediately recognized Mr. Bissonnette’s photo from his frequent appearances online, including on the page he administers.
“He was someone who made frequent extreme comments in social media denigrating refugees and feminism. It wasn’t outright hate, rather part of this new nationalist conservative identity movement that is more intolerant than hateful.”
Both Mr. Boissoneault and Mr. Deschamps recalled Mr. Bissonnette sharing anti-immigration sentiment, especially toward Muslim refugees making their way to Europe from the war-torn Middle East.
Mr. Bissonnette’s Facebook profile was removed from public view just after 11 a.m. Monday along with his comments on other social-media feeds.
In addition to being a student, Mr. Bissonnette worked in a call centre for Quebec’s blood donation agency, Héma-Québec. . . .
Former classmates from the CEGEP junior college he attended after high school described him as a quiet, unassuming guy who blended in. . . .
Mr. Bissonnette studied political science, Mr. Kingma-Lord said, but seemed more interested in the campus chess club than any kind of ideology. . . .
Acquaintances from Mr. Bissonnette’s earlier years at Les Compagnons-de-Cartier high school in Quebec City say he was introverted, socially awkward and frequently bullied.
OK, you’re a 27-year-old introvert who is still in college, a member of the chess club and, also, Canadian. Your existence has no meaning or purpose, and therefore you commit a senseless act of violence that accomplishes nothing except to give that deranged slut Meghan Murphy an excuse to demonize innocent white guys.
See how this works? Feminists have two standards: One for them, and one for everybody else. You are never permitted to make general statements about women, but the feminist will always use the worst possible example to demonize men generally, and white males in particular.
Here’s a hint for moody Canadian introverts: Stop giving Meghan Murphy excuses to write about her insane hatred of white males. The rest of us are tired of hearing her incessant anti-white-male screeds. If you’re a “quiet, unassuming . . . socially awkward” loser (as most Canadians are) who has no meaning or purpose in life, just go ahead and kill yourself, rather than commit an atrocity that inspires a Meghan Murphy column. Otherwise, just go to your campus chess club meetings and leave it to Americans to do “extreme comments in social media,” because we’re so much better at it, the same way Americans are better at everything else.
For example, what topic do feminists most enjoy writing about? Rape.
Here is a list of rape suspects whose alleged crimes were recently reported as local news: Timothy Wayne McLean Jr. (Durham, N.C.), Marco Antonio Garcia Perez (Highland, Calif.), Allen Mays (Lincoln Parrish, La.), Arturo Bedolla (Memphis, Tenn.), Toney Moore (Harlan, Ky.), Kamai Clerveaux (Miami, Fla.), Rafael Alfredo Pabon (Cabarrus County, N.C.), Jerome Booze (Decatur, Ga.), Carlos Reyes (Nashville, Tenn.), Anthony Thornton (Port Huron, Mich.), Akeem Anthony Butts (Albany, N.Y.) and Deadrick T. North (Knoxville, Tenn.). Feminists constantly rant about “rape culture,” but have any of those criminal suspects been mentioned in any feminist blogs or columns? No. And do I need to explain why none of these alleged rapes have been mentioned by Meghan Murphy, Amanda Marcotte, Jessica Valenti, et al.? No. You can figure it out.
If you want to annoy feminist, simply focus on facts that contradict feminist ideology — and there are so many facts to choose from!
Alabama woman accused of providing daughter for sex
Authorities say they’ve arrested an Alabama woman accused of repeatedly taking her young daughter to a motel so a man could have sex with the child.
Officials say Amy Floyd Morgan of Blount County is charged with human trafficking and conspiring to commit sexual abuse of a child younger than 12. She was arrested Wednesday.
AL.com reports authorities say Morgan took money for more than a year from 44-year-old Rama Raji Erramraju so he could have sexual contact with Morgan’s young daughter. The man is also charged.
What are the chances that any feminist will mention this crime? Zero. Therefore, start asking feminists why they don’t mention such crimes.
This is the real secret of how to defeat the Left. Stop letting them decide what the subject of discussion will be and, when a big news story breaks, don’t let the Left decide which facts are relevant. I’ve explained before how feminists exploit atrocity narratives by taking advantage of the Law of Large Numbers. There are more than 320 million people in the United States, so it’s easy to find examples of almost anything. People having sex with dogs? Sure — if you want to turn bestiality into a major national issue, there’s plenty of headline news out there. Feminists manufacture their anti-male propaganda by focusing attention on incidents that fit their ideological biases about “white male power . . . supported by capitalism, imperialism, colonialism, patriarchy,” to quote Meghan Murphy. There is a specific narrative that feminists seek to promote, and this always involves a highly selective treatment of facts.
Meghan Murphy evidently wants her readers to believe that, because Alexandre Bissonnette is a white male who shot and killed six people in Quebec, therefore all white males should be considered dangerous. Well, this month, more than 50 people in Chicago have been shot to death, and more than 250 other people were wounded by gunfire. The 2016 death toll in Chicago was nearly 800 gunshot fatalities. If the atrocity in Quebec justifies fear and hatred of white males, as Meghan Murphy seems to believe, then couldn’t we examine the demographics of crime in Chicago — who is shooting whom? — and engage in a similar kind of guilt-by-association campaign to promote fear and hatred? We could, but we don’t. Instead, whenever there’s a shooting somewhere that the Left wants to turn into a propaganda narrative, we just mention the routine violence Chicago and ask, “What’s your point?”
Yonatan Monrroy-Madrid, 19, was ordered held in lieu of $300,000 bail in a hearing before Cook County Judge Maria Kuriakos Ciesil, according to prosecutors and court records. Monrroy-Madrid is charged in the death of a 57-year-old man who was killed when his car was hit by Monrroy-Madrid’s in the 400 block of North Ashland Avenue on Saturday . . .
The crash also injured a 19-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man who were in the back seat of the 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee that Monrroy-Madrid was driving when he hit the 57-year-old’s 2004 Toyota Camry, according to prosecutors and police. . . .
Saturday afternoon, Monrroy-Madrid was driving at high speeds around the West Side, making quick turns onto various streets and blowing through stop lights and stop signs . . .
The crash threw the woman passenger out of the Jeep and killed the driver of the Camry . . .
Monrroy-Madrid and his passengers were taken to Stroger Hospital, according to police. At the hospital, a blood draw indicated his blood-alcohol level was .24 percent—three times the legal limit of .08, prosecutors said.
See? They don’t even need guns to kill people in Chicago and, call it a hunch, but I doubt Yonatan Monrroy-Madrid voted for Trump.
Never let the liberal rock-throwers forget that they live in glass houses. Do not sit back and play defense against the insulting propaganda claims promoted by people like Meghan Murphy. No, counter-attack — seize the strategic initiative, identify their vulnerabilities, strike suddenly with overwhelming rhetorical force, and keep up the fight until you have completely routed and demoralized your antagonist.
“[T]he men responsible for not only violence against women, but mass shootings, often have a history of misogyny — yet hating women never seems to constitute a red flag until its too late. If we did take men’s racism and misogyny seriously as warning signs of violence, we would, of course, have to ban Trump himself from the country he now presides over.”
— Meghan Murphy, Jan. 30, 2017
Does anyone think an American needs lectures from a Canadian feminist like Meghan Murphy? You’d better think again. Canada is full of dangerous degenerates: Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, the mentally ill Muslim convert killed in a 2014 terrorist attack; lesbian hockey coach Heidi Ferber, who molested a 15-year-old girl; University of Toronto education professor Benjamin Levin, convicted of child pornography; mass murderer Phu Lam, who killed eight people in an Edmonton rampage; “Vision Vancouver” candidate Trish Kelly, who had to quit her campaign because of her masturbation video; and Toronto child pornographer Brian Way, who reportedly made $4 million peddling perversion.
How does an atrocity perpetrated by a Canadian loser like Alexandre Bissonnette, give Meghan Murphy an excuse to demonize America, whereas Americans are not allowed to believe that Muslims flying jetliners into the World Trade Center proved something about Islam?
Mohamed Atta didn’t hate America more than Meghan Murphy hates America. Every morning, she wakes up hating America, and when she goes to sleep at night, she dreams anti-American dreams. Meghan Murphy hates all men, but she hates American men most of all, because American men are successful and happy, while Meghan Murphy lives in a miserable failure called “Canada.” They’re not even a real country anyway.

Democrats Face a Political Math Problem and Also, ‘Phallic Imperialism’

Writing at The Patriarch Tree:
What is “phallic imperialism,” how does the protester propose to “crush” it, and what would a post-phallic world look like? We have to ask questions like that — what do these words mean in the minds of those who use them? — if we are to develop any treatment for the madness that has seized these kooks.
You can read the whole thing, which makes a point about how feminists and other progressives have isolated themselves from the political mainstream, so that they imagine everyone shares their weird beliefs. (Bonus fact: The phrase “phallic imperialism” was coined by lesbian feminist Sue Katz in a 1971 article in which she denounced heterosexuality as an “institution” of “phallic tyranny.”) What we are witnessing are the effects of “epistemic closure” on the Left, as the Obama era caused progressives to think of themselves as being on “the right side of history.” This triumphant belief in their own moral superiority, in turn, led Democrats to believe that they no longer had to debate the merits of policies, because anyone who opposed them could be dismissed as ignorant and/or evil. This is the kind of echo-chamber cult mentality that led to Nancy Pelosi’s infamous claim on behalf of ObamaCare: “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.”
These are not arguments, these are symptoms of a mental disorder, and Megan McArdle explains the practical effects of this insanity:
Why are the left’s public demonstrations more impressive than its voter turnout? Because there are a whole lot of Democrats in the large population centers where such demonstrations are generally held. People can join a protest simply by getting on the subway; it’s an easy show of force.
But there are a lot of small towns in America, and as Sean Trende and David Byler recently demonstrated, those small towns are redder than ever. Effectively, the Democratic coalition has self-gerrymandered into a small number of places where they can turn out an impressive number of feet on the ground, but not enough votes to win the House. Certainly not enough to win the Senate or the Electoral College, which both favor sparsely populated states and discount the increasingly dense parts of the nation.
The Senate map in 2018 is brutal for Democrats. If Democrats want to get their mojo back, they’re going to need to do more than get a small minority of voters to turn out for a march. They’re going to need to get back some of those rural votes.
To do that, they’re probably going to have to let go of the most soul-satisfying, brain-melting political theory of the last two decades: that Democrats are inevitably the Party of the Future, guaranteed ownership of the future by an emerging Democratic majority in minority-white America. This theory underlay a lot of Obama’s presidency, and Clinton’s campaign. With President Trump’s inauguration [Jan. 20], we saw the results.
Read the whole thing, but it’s not just “rural voters” with whom Democrats have lost touch. Hillary didn’t lose the election because of deep-red rural states like Wyoming and Arkansas, she lost because she was rejected by voters in states like Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The opinions of working-class white voters in Scranton or Kenosha were not considered relevant by Democrats, because people like that have no influence in the 21st-century Democrat Party. Instead, the people who voted for Hillary have decided that lesbian feminist slogans about “phallic imperialism” represent “an emerging Democrat majority.” A wealthy Hollywood degenerate like Ashton Kutcher calls himself “a citizen of the world” on national TV, as if this is going to influence voters in Montana, North Dakota, Missouri, West Virginia, Indiana, Wisconsin, Ohio, Florida, Michigan and Pennsylvania — all states Trump won last year, and where Democrats will be defending Senate seats in November 2018.

What will happen to the New York/Hollywood elite and their progressive fantasies if Republicans gain a 60-seat majority in the Senate?
Alas, they will be crushed by “phallic imperialism.”
