No, @Clementine_Ford, Men Don’t Hate Women, But They Definitely Hate You

Posted on | October 5, 2016 | 2 Comments

“Like most feminists, I have often been told that I hate men. I’m no longer interested in denying that claim.”
Clementine Ford, May 2015

Last year, it was reported that the birth rate in Australia had fallen to a 10-year low, and the discouraging demographic situation Down Under has merited the attention of the Australian national government. Perhaps officials should note that this decline has coincided with the career ascent of Australia’s leading professional baby-hater, Clementine Ford:

Clementine Ford’s vehement hatred of babies (or, as she would say, the “clump of unwanted cells,” which has no value whatsoever) is enough to make me glad that she’s 10,000 miles away, so that I don’t have to worry about her sneaking around trying to kill any of my children. Checking the headlines in Australia, I found two cases of babies being murdered this year — one in Melbourne and one in Geraldton — but in both of those cases, the mother was charged. However, if there are any unsolved baby murders in Australia, the police should check Clementine Ford’s alibi.

Notoriously merciless in her hatred toward children, Clementine Ford also has nothing but contempt for the male half of the human race:

My name is Clementine Ford and I’m a writer, speaker and professionally angry person living in Melbourne. . . .
I’m not interested in placating men about their intentions or feminist credentials. . . .
I don’t speak or write about feminism in order to convince men or sway them to my point of view. I do it because I want to let other women know that it’s okay to speak up and to be angry and to tell the truth about their lives. Also, women are f–king funny and rad and I want to hear more from them and less from men.

She has no interest in “placating” any male, nor does she seek to persuade males, but only to incite women to hate males as much as she does, and she never wants to hear anything a male has to say about it. Also, she cannot seem to fathom why she is so unpopular with men:

In the fifteen or so years that I’ve been actively feministing, I’ve never tired of being asked whether or not I hate men. . . . If I could summarise my experience of the anti-feminist backlash into one tedious, repetitive interaction, it would be thus: “Do you hate men? Wait, let me rephrase that. Why do you hate men?”

(Pause, reader, to reflect on why men might not enjoy being constantly insulted and belittled by a “professionally angry person” whose entire career consists of insulting and belittling men. She gets paid to portray men generally as being ignorant monsters, then dismisses all criticism of her anti-male hate rhetoric as “backlash.”)

Although my care factor for whether or not men think I hate them hovers somewhere just below zero . . . the blatant lack of self-awareness on display when this question is asked . . . still manages to astonish me. . . .

(Men are not only ignorant monsters, but they lack self-awareness, and blatantly so. So she insults you, and if you object to her insult, this proves you’re too stupid to understand her point.)

Do feminists hate men? When you consider the level of hostility women are subjected to just for standing up for ourselves, surely the better query is why do so many men seem to hate women so fiercely, so aggressively, so violently and so passionately? . . .

(You see? The feminist insults you, and considers your objection to her insult to be evidence that you “hate women so fiercely,” etc. In other words, no man is allowed to disagree with her. Shut up, you ignorant male worm, while Clementine Ford insults you some more.)

Instead of berating feminists for being misandrists, perhaps these men should start taking responsibility for the abominable, destructive and dehumanising treatment of women throughout all of history up to and including the present day.
Because here’s the thing: at a broad sweep, men have given us countless reasons to hate them. They have certainly provided ample evidence of their hatred for us, and the violence they inflict has more physical, cultural and economic power behind it than women subjugated by a patriarchal system could ever hope to replicate.

You see, you ignorant male worm — yes, you there, so despicable and lowly as to be unworthy of Clementine Ford’s notice — that you are responsible for the “abominable . . treatment of women” not only during your own worthless life, but “throughout all of history.” Clementine Ford gets paid to blame you personally for all those “women subjugated by a patriarchal system” as a consequence of the “physical, cultural and economic power” you possess, merely because you are male.

It’s rather strange that Clementine Ford, “subjugated by a patriarchal system” as she is, gets paid by the publisher Allen & Unwin, a firm founded more than a century ago by Sir Stanley Unwin, which is a division of the publishing conglomerate Harper Collins which, in turn, is owned by Rupert Murdoch’s $15 billion global communications empire NewsCorp. Rather than being “subjugated” by male-owned corporate media, instead Clementine Ford is being subsidized by these powerful men.

What does Clementine Ford think of Allen & Unwin chairman Patrick Gallagher? What is her opinion of Allen & Unwin CEO Robert Gorman? Are her publishing bosses also guilty of “abominable, destructive and dehumanising treatment of women” as she insists men generally are?

Well, while Clementine Ford is gloating about “male tears,” there is more serious reason for concern. In a recent Facebook post, Clementine Ford claimed to be in possession of “a tiny human,” although how this was to be distinguished from a “clump of unwanted cells,” she did not specify.

No one has yet been able to confirm this report, but it is alleged that Australia’s leading professional baby-hater, Clementine Ford, has somehow gotten her hands on an actual living baby.

Was this a kidnapping? Did she (or perhaps a lesbian partner) get artificially inseminated? We don’t know, but it’s been nearly six weeks since that rumor was reported, and she’s probably killed it by now.

Thank God I live in America, and Clementine Ford is 10,000 miles away.

Deranged Cyberstalker Bill Schmalfeldt Is Still Deranged and, Yes, Cyberstalking

Posted on | October 4, 2016 | 3 Comments

Let the reader search the archives here for mentions of Bill Schmalfeldt, and I believe you will discover that I have ignored him for more than two years, until I found today that Schmalfeldt was recycling a defamatory fraud from 2013 concerning myself and Karen the Lonely Conservative.

Now, given that I have ignored Schmalfeldt so long, and only took notice of him today because he was engaging in a false attack on me, which of us has suffered an unjust injury? (Hint: Not Bill Schmalfeldt.)

Alas, perhaps because of the hapless fool’s degenerative neurological condition, he seems incapable of comprehending basic facts, which would explain the idiotic email he sent me this afternoon:

To: Robert Stacy McCain
From: Bill Schmalfeldt <[email protected]>
Tue, 04 Oct 2016 16:02:27
Dear Mr. McCain:
This is my notice to you that I intend to hold you accountable for any and all future defamatory remarks. You are on notice. Calling me “deranged” is defamatory. It is not based on truth and it puts me in a false, negative light.
Calling me a “cyberstalker” is defamatory. Cyberstalking is a crime, both in Maryland and in Wisconsin. I have never been convicted of the crime of “cyberstalking,” so referring to me by that label is a malicious falsehood.
I am not an “adjudicated” anything. Peace orders and restraining orders are not an adjudication of guilt. They are, by law, an order to not engage in certain behaviors, not a finding that such behaviors have been proven. As I have never been convicted in a court of law for any crime, calling me an “adjudicated” criminal is a malicious falsehood.
I intend to hold you to this standard. If the things you allege are defamatory, and the truth or falsity can be proven, a false statement will be taken as defamation.
You are warned that I will not put up with this any longer.
Cease and Desist
William M. Schmalfeldt, Sr.
St. Francis, WI 53235

Thus the finest legal mind of Acme Law™ is convinced that my description of his condition (deranged) and his behavior (cyberstalking) has made him the victim of a tort (defamation) on my part. Certain that no court would ever agree with Mr. Schmalfeldt on this matter, I would be within my rights to reply, “F*** you, you demented old fool,” and leave it at that.

However, I thought it worthwhile to publish Mr. Schmalfeldt’s empty threat — “You are warned that I will not put up with this any longer” could easily be construed as a threat of some intended retaliation — so that everyone would know what Old Blubberhead is up to lately. The question is why, after two years, Mr. Schmalfeldt would suddenly renew his interest in me. My hunch is that it may be related to events described in “The Panic Is Pretty Obvious” by John Hoge.

According to Mr. Hoge, Schmalfeldt published a forgery that appears related to ongoing litigation between Aaron Walker and Brett Kimberlin. If Mr. Schmalfeldt was indeed part of that “panic,” perhaps he sought to divert attention from his blunder by stirring up some trouble with me. And if past is precedent, we may expect that The Neckless Troll will now begin escalating the pursuit of his zany obsession with me, all the while proclaiming himself to be the victim. Selah.

Strangely, Mr. Schmalfeldt seems to believe I have used the word “adjudicated” to describe him, which I have not. Having ceased to pay attention to him, I am unaware of the state of his legal affairs, and certainly did not use the word “cyberstalker” with the intention of making a criminal charge against him. Rather, I used the word in the colloquial sense — i.e., someone who uses Internet communications (“cyber-“) to maliciously pursue someone in an obsessive way (“stalking”). Mr. Schmalfeldt has certainly done that to me in the past, and has been subject to court action involving his online behavior toward others, so that describing him as a “cyberstalker” is to state a known fact, no more controversial than it would be to call him “bald” and “ugly.”

As for calling Mr. Schmalfeldt “deranged,” this is also non-controversial, as he is known to be afflicted with a debilitating disorder that can produce dementia. While I am not a mental health professional qualified to diagnose this condition, his behavior would certainly cause any observant person to believe Mr. Schmalfeldt is warped, wacky, cracked, twisted, berserk, mad, daft, off his rocker, nuttier than squirrel farts, Looney Tunes, a few fries short of a Happy Meal and cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs. Indeed, one might list every synonym for “crazy” in Roget’s Thesaurus without fully describing how crazy Bill Schmalfledt is.

Karen the Lonely Conservative has taken notice of the latest craziness, and the “Billy Sez” blog also comments.

By the way, does anyone need to be reminded about Bill Schmalfeldt’s enthusiasm for anal rape? Because maybe some people forgot.

How Bill Schmalfeldt (@Leonidas_BU) Implicated Himself in Online Fraud

Posted on | October 4, 2016 | 8 Comments

In July 2012, my blog buddy Karen, The Lonely Conservative, described how she was targeted by a fake email, from someone impersonating my colleague Wombat, forwarding to her an email purportedly from me in which “I” wrote insulting things about Karen. This was two months after I began covering the Brett Kimberlin saga, and I suspected Kimberlin’s associate Neal Rauhauser as the perpetrator of that libelous fraud.

Yesterday, however, Kimberlin’s dimwitted henchman Bill Schmalfeldt posted on Twitter a message to Karen in which he included a screencap of that fraudulent July 2012 email, raising the question: “How did Bill come into possession of this, as it has never been published anywhere before?”

You see, during that episode, I cautioned Karen not to describe in any detail exactly how this fraud was perpetrated. To divulge the method used — which was fiendishly clever, actually — might encourage other evil people to use a similar ruse. The principal involved in keeping that under wraps is sort of like the suppression of The Anarchist Cookbook, a 1971 “how to” manual for political terrorism. There is no good reason for anyone to need to know techniques of criminal sabotage, bomb-making, etc., and so only bad people would be involved in the dissemination of such information. Therefore I never got into the details of this evil email hoax, and warned Karen to keep the methodology under wraps, which is why the email that Bill Schmalfeldt screencapped and sent out via Twitter had never been published anywhere before.

So how did Bill obtain this evidence of a criminal fraud?

Our friend John Hoge has questions of his own:

Seeing that tweet reminded me that the $1,000 reward I have offered leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons who made the death threat against Karen. Karen received the threat against her within minutes of the time her name was signed to the SWATting threat I received on 29 October, 2012. The SWATting threat I received purporting to be from The Lonely Conservative, but was a forgery. I also received a forged email purporting to be from Stacy McCain from the same IP address within a few minutes of the SWATting threat.

Deranged cyberstalker Bill Schmalfeldt. You can Google that.

It’s Come to This: Male Students Trained to ‘Be Accountable to Feminism’

Posted on | October 4, 2016 | 3 Comments

It’s like the plot of a dystopian science fiction novel:

Duke University is creating a “safe space” for male students to pore over the ways in which their “toxic masculinities” create a harmful environment on campus and beyond.
The Men’s Project, which is sponsored by the Duke Women’s Center, aims to “create a space of brotherhood fellowship dedicated to interrogating male privilege and patriarchy as it exists in our lives, our campus and our society,” according to the university’s website.
The initiative’s leadership team consists of four students, including juniors Dipro Bhowmik and Alex Bressler. . . .
The curriculum is about “questioning how you can be accountable to feminism, to the women in your life and to the larger community,” [Bhowmik] told the Duke Chronicle, a student newspaper.

Annual tuition at Duke University is $51,265. And for that price, students receive professional-quality feminist brainwashing.

Late Night With Rule 5 Sunday: Tax Loopholes Edition

Posted on | October 2, 2016 | 3 Comments

— compiled by Wombat-socho

Lots of ginned-up controversy over Trump’s taxes this weekend, and from what I’ve seen on social media, the basic argument seems to be “My credits/deductions are good and right, but yours are bad and wrong!” which of course is nonsense, but this is the level to which the media have sunk in the waning days of our republic. As a necessary distraction from all the depressing news this week, I offer an attractive accountant for your consideration. ‘The Fire Under All of This Smoke is … Barely Enough to Light a Cigar’

Posted on | October 2, 2016 | Comments Off on ‘The Fire Under All of This Smoke is … Barely Enough to Light a Cigar’

So says Jazz Shaw of Hot Air in addressing the “October surprise” of the New York Times report on Donald Trump’s taxes. What the Times seems to have done is to extrapolate from the documents it mysteriously obtained to guess about what might be found in documents it does not have. They assert that, because Trump reported major losses of business income in one year, therefore Trump could have avoided income taxes in subsequent years. This may be true, but we don’t know.

Those are today’s headlines at Memeorandum, and CNN’s going wall-to-wall on it, as if Trump were a cop who shot an unarmed black man. The unmistakable pro-Clinton cheerleading at CNN is the tip of a massive iceberg of liberal media bias in this campaign, which is arguably the secret of Trump’s success so far. Trump appeals directly to voters who don’t trust the media, so that whenever the media report something negative about Trump, his basic answer is always, “See? Media bias!”

Whether or not this will be enough for Trump to win the election, however, is the important question. The latest Fox News poll has Clinton leading by 5 points, 49%-44%, and the Real Clear Politics average of national polls show Clinton expanding her lead from a virtual dead heat on Sept. 19 (when it was Clinton 44.9%, Trump 44.0%) to 2.5 points (47.5%-45.0%) now. How much faith we can put in polls is always a matter of dispute, but the closer we get to Election Day, the more likely the polls actually do predict the vote. What the polls cannot predict, however, is whether some event between now and Nov. 8 — for example, a major terrorist attack — might cause voters to shift toward Trump. There are limits to how far media bias can help Democrats, and this election may yet demonstrate that fact. We shall wait and see . . .
