Awesome Awesomeness Update: MSNBC Host Rips Into Democrat Alan Grayson

Given that Alan Grayson is one of the most vile pieces of filth ever elected to Congress — but not re-elected, as he got stomped 56%-38% by Republican Daniel Webster last month — there can be no doubt that he deserved this abuse from MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell:

(Via Hot Air Headlines.) First Olbermann smacks Obama, then Maddow smacks Obama, now O’Donnell smacks Grayson — clearly someone at MSNBC has figured out which way the political winds are blowing.

    Both loathsome. Seems to me that, ultimately, they were most upset not about the taxes so much as the fact that the Democrat party would suffer the most political blowback for halting the bill in its current version. Sure, O’Donnell the Socialist demagogued for the “little guy,” but he concluded by saying blocking the tax-break extensions would relieve the Republicans of responsibility.

    It’s a political kabuki dance they’re fighting over and who gets blame, not the concept of justifiable taxation.

    Seeing both of them on split-screen hardly qualifies as awesome, but I do enjoy a peek into the Progressive frenzy, a vision usually kept behind the MFM curtain.

    I think what Lawrence O’Donnell is saying without realizing it is that when the taxes were cut in 01 and 03, it was the LOWEST bracket that was cut the most (from 15% to 10%). Haven’t we endured the lie from liberals for the past 8 years that the tax cuts benefitted the rich and not the poor? What a stunning admission by LO’D

    Excellent observation, Arod. O’Donnell was too clever by half which is only about an eighth as clever as sane people but more than twice as clever for him as normal.
