Completely Unofficial Survey Indicates John Dennis Surge In CA-8

While not as weird as a Dread Zeppelin cut, Billy Bob’s survey effort over at Birch Tree Sustainable Studios shows that John Dennis, while as big a longshot as my local Patrick Murray candidacy, is worth every bit of support that can be mustered.  If the trend continues, and the Tea Parties turn out the vote, the GOP could be faced with a moment where it has to put its Federalism where its mouth is.  I yearn for that.

    A mutual friend of ours said this about the race John Dennis is in,

    “If John Dennis wins that seat, the WHOLE HOUSE is red!”

    Patrick Murrary will also be part of that large conservative majority along with John Dennis.

    I was just driving down Duke Street, there are Moron signs every foot. Where is the office for Murphy. We need to get some signs up on that street. If they have them, I will go and put them up myself.

    I’d love to see it, but I’ll believe it when I see it.

    I would think Murray isn’t near that much of a long shot. He’s a heavy underdog, to be sure, but one with an outside shot to pull it off.

    I think Rob’s friend is right: if Dennis beats Pelosi, it will probably mean a 320 seat majority. Again, I can’t wait to see it, but I ain’t holding me breath . . .

    Has anybody else watched the pilot of “Running” available on RightNetwork.com? It features a flattering portrayal of John Dennis, plus another guy who is going up against Henry Waxman.

    I don’t know if either will win, but I have to give them kudos just for being brave enough to even try.

    I have to say that John Boehner talk about ‘firing Pelosi’ is cheap. Boehner hasn’t even MENTION John Dennis in a speech or supported him. Yet ‘firing Pelosi’ is central to his re-election strategy?

    Can we say hypocritical? That’s very ostentatious if you ask me.

    For what’s it worth, I am very optimistic about this race despite the recent polls. I have a gut feeling that John Dennis will win this seat because Nancy isn’t campaigning in her district and when you have that happening it’s essentially letting him play with the house money. Nancy is in Ontario, New York, Los Angeles, Dallas anywhere, but San Francisco. She still has no campaign staff and John Dennis needs a hook up with the Tea Party Express…which I’ll try to do.

    We actually have a good shot at taking several seats in CA with or without the State party and RNC.

    Fire Pelsoi is not so much about Pelsoi–The Congresswoman From SFO as it is about Pelosi–The Speaker of the House Who Happens To Be A Democrat. That’s the intent. Getting rid of a Dem speaker, not an otherwise toothless Rep. Pelosi.

    As it is you have now a better than 2/3 chance of taking back the House. But don’t get too excited, even if you gain 50 seats overall which is likely, it is hardly likely that you would even win one seat from CA, let alone Pelosi’s seat.

    I am well aware of that…I still don’t like incumbents who have been in their seats for more than 20 years…see John McCain or Joel Hefley.
