    Moran does serve a purpose – he reminds everyone that Northern Virginia isn’t really Virginia, it’s part of the cesspool that is the District of Calcutta.

  5. I’m jealous. My own congressthing, Gerry Connelly, is a garden-variety,  party-line liberal, but he has the personality of a dead mackerel (and, interestingly, the physiognomy of one), so he lacks Moran’s “flare” when it comes to attracting attention.
