Disagreement as ‘Harassment’? @StephHerold Says Tell the FBI

“You are just an ignorant, inarticulate, hate-filled bigot — a typical American — and you are so insignificant that Sara Alcid can’t be bothered to notice.”
— Robert Stacy McCain

Talking back to a Queer Feminist is a now evidently a hate crime or something, and Badger Pundit chronicles how my reply to a “reproductive justice” activist made Sara Alcid a heroic martyr in the “War on Women.” Disagreement is hate, because feminism.

Let’s remember what happened: My editors at The American Spectator assigned me to cover Saturday’s “SlutWalk DC,” a sort of feminist festival in which women celebrate victimhood, and the syllogism can be simply summarized: “Shut up, because rape.”

My description of that memorably ridiculous event prompted Sara Alcid to denounce me as “disgusting.”

We are not allowed to reply to them, you see.

These people are Our Moral Superiors. We are inarticulate subhumans who have no rights, not even the First Amendment free speech right to express disagreement or defend ourselves against insults.

We cannot reply by pointing out that Sara Alcid is a disciple of “queer theory” feminist Judith Butler, or that Sara Alcid works for a 501(c)3 non-profit abortion advocacy organization, or that Sara Alcid views Valentine’s Day as a hateful occasion when “heteronormativity and gender roles … rear their ugly heads.”

We cannot point these things out, because disagreement is hate.

The flawed logic of their rhetoric, their enthusiasm for bad ideas, their fanatical desire to destroy all that is true, right and decent in the world — no, you can’t point this out, because if you do, some people might say mean things about feminists, and people who say mean things about feminists are evil hateful sexist harassers who are trying to silence and intimidate these courageous women.

On the other hand, when the Southern Poverty Law Center publishes a “hate map” that inspires a deranged pervert to go shoot up the Family Research Council — that’s not hate or harassment.

Progressive activist Brett Kimberlin’s attempt to have his estranged wife involuntarily committed — that’s not hate or harassment.

The obscenely vile things that liberals say about Michelle Malkin, Sarah Palin, Ann Coulter and other conservative women — none of that can be condemned as hate or harssment and, in fact, feminists like Sara Alcid generally applaud and participate in the Left’s ongoing campaign to demonize and marginalize conservative women.

You can’t point this out, however, because pointing out the malicious dishonesty of feminists is “harassment and bullying.”

Also, never mention that Sara Alcid is in favor of killing babies, although I think some people might take notice of this.

If Stephanie Herold wants to keep digging that hole, I’m glad to help.

Please, ladies, never doubt your own monopoly on truth. Never consider the possibility that your philosophy is wrong. Never think of the blood of innocent victims you sacrifice on the altar of “choice.” Never waiver, never heed the “still small voice” of conscience, and please never repent your sins, lest you spare yourselves the torments of Hell.

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness . . .”
— Isaiah 5:20 (KJV)

  1. I wonder if Mr. Reynolds could provide an Instalanche? These buffoons really could use some time in the spotlight.

  2. “Reported” you for what?!

Honestly! You quote her own words, and that’s harassment? What should you be “reported” for? Malicious quoting?!

Oh, and “the patriarchy” is the nineteenth century creation of a bunch of white, middle class professors. Or so my old anthropology prof used to tell me, chuckling.

  3. Projection.
Accuse your detractors of exactly what you yourself are doing. Threatening to report someone to the FBI for freely expressing their opinion or reporting truthfully on your own activities is textbook intimidation (bullying).
Our mocking of you and your sycophants is our 1st amendment right. Your attempt to shut down our free speech through threats and intimidation is a federal crime. To exhort others to join you is conspiracy. She treads on very thin ice …

  4. These are sleazy totalitarians, and nothing less.

TAKE YOUR PICK: “1984”, “Animal Farm”, “Brave New World”…it’s all the same in the end (…YES, I’m aware of the different perspectives).

    HERE THEY ARE.

*NOW* : just WHAT do we do about them?!

    Open to suggestions.

  5. While it is always entertaining to have a bit of fun at the expense of the lunatic fringe, the frightening reality is that they aren’t the fringe. The lunatics have left the asylum and now make up a significant voting body of this country.

Quick quick reproduce, because by definition they won’t. It’s our strongest weapon.

  6. I would only add, they make up close to 100% of academe and have enough clout to demand that incoming freshmen have to take one of their BS Critical Theory courses. At best, the young traditional frosh learns the First Amendment only applies to certain opinons. Worst case sees said frosh blackballed or expelled for violating some unwritten honor code, the prime directive of which is “thou shalt not tell a tenured professor in Gender/Race/Whatever Studies that s/he/it has no clothes.”

  7. And to think these women with the hysterics are the same one who want to be in combat…the thought is chilling

  8. They’re paid to sift through piles of shit, er, tips, for actionable intelligence. So, nope. And that’s without their repeated forays into thuggery.

Besides, this is excellent training for newbies. Ask any sergeant.

  9. Fantastic post. I’ve updated my post chronicling the bizarre complaints of Ms. Alcid and her cohort with this comment about WHY they might think that mere disagreement IS harassment (bottom of Update 6):

“It seems these radical feminists only feel comfortable in an academic environment which all too often does label as ‘hate speech’ the expression of disagreement with radical leftists, as Harvey Silverglate (@HASilverglate) and Greg Lukianoff (@GLukianoff) have been documenting for years (for example, here). Welcome to the real world, Ms. Alcid.”

  10. I’m pretty sure none of these snowflakes would lift a finger to join the military. They’d rather OTHER women sweat, bleed, and die, so that feminazis everywhere can rejoice over the smacking of the patriarchy.

From the comfort of their own homes, of course. The hypocrites.

  11. Renee Bracy Sherman is the little brainiac girl in 6th grade who rats the guys out for throwing spit balls in class

  12. True that, but they are they are the airheads who think it is a good idea. Yes I expect these girls have never done real work in their entire lives

  13. The problem is, they don’t get yelled back at and mocked enough. There are too many young women, and young men, in our high schools and universities for whom these termagants are the only voice they hear. Cowed into silence by their imagined isolation, these vulnerable young people need to see the harpies netted and nettled, if only to show them they are not alone and independent thought is possible.

  14. Perhaps a long vacation in some country where there is true respect for their feminist message might improve their perspective, give them an understanding of actual, genuine repression. Say … Saudi Arabia, maybe Iran, Iraq, Yemen … we could take up a collection perhaps.

  15. Thanks, Bob! I have spent the last couple of weeks and everything I had going to tons of doctors all over the place and know more about what’s wrong with me and am now trying to learn how to manage it. I’ll do an update at my place sometime soon I hope, but I’ve been too physically weak to do much of anything that requires more effort than a tweet lately until today when I had an emergency medical need to load up on lots of prednisone, and then I felt like a living human being for a few hours which is that is something I had not experienced in a very long time. Now I get to try to do math to figure out how much I should take tomorrow so I can hopefully get vertical again, and I am not good at math so wish me luck!
