Tattooed Harlot Sydney Leathers: She’s Totally an Expert on ‘Self-Loathing’

Posted on | August 14, 2013 | 41 Comments

It is rather amusing to recall that when Sydney Leathers was first identified as Anthony Weiner’s sexting partner, some conservatives hesitated to name her, presuming her to be the victim of a predator.

Ah, but who was the predator and who was the prey?

Her 15 minutes of fame infamy have long since elapsed — Democrats are now like, “Anthony who?” — and her porn career isn’t likely to last much longer, so how can Sydney Leathers remain relevant? Declare herself a feminist and take a cheap shot at Fox News:

In an interview with The Frisky, the sexter-turned-porn-star lashed out at Fox News’ female stars and dissed Republicans as a whole.
“Yeah, I think conservative girls are really uptight,” Leathers mused. “It makes me think of, you know, the Fox News fembots who are obviously self-loathing, or they wouldn’t be Republicans and female, in my opinion.”

Sister Toldjah comments:

If being a “liberated woman” means embarrassing myself on an hourly basis [the link is to Sydney’s Twitter account] and allowing risque photos and p*rn video of myself . . . to be shamelessly taken/filmed and used for sordid financial gain by the likes of exploitative media outlets like the NY Post, Vivid, etc, then I’ll gladly stay an “uptight and self-loathing fembot” forever, thank you very much.

Of course, Sydney Leathers is correct about one thing: Conservative girls are “really uptight” — and Democrat women are down loose.

IYKWIMAITYD.

‘They Were Lonely and Depressed; Their Symptoms Were Psychosomatic’

Posted on | August 13, 2013 | 62 Comments

In 2006, an Australian physician related his experiences encountering a certain type of female patient: Attractive, successful, mid-20s, complaining of rather vague symptoms. The patient had previously been diagnosed with and treated for a variety of ailments, but was still suffering from anxiety, cramps, etc. A pattern became evident, and the doctor described the typical reaction:

When questioning them about their unhappiness, a litany of loathing and tears, more sincere than any self penitent would erupt. They were fat, they were unintelligent and they couldn’t find a partner. They were ugly.
They were unlovable.
At first I was quite shocked at this complete disconnect between reality and self perception. As a young man, I would not have hesitated at once to try to make an acquaintance with any of these women. Indeed, they usually did not have a problem with meeting men at all. What they did have was a problem of meeting men who would treat them like a person instead of a means of sexual satisfaction. They were lonely and depressed; their symptoms were psychosomatic.
The pattern of their personal lives seemed to be the same. They usually had a string of liaisons more than relationships. The male leaving them after he became sexually bored, lured away by a more attractive mate or when “demands” were placed on the man. These “demands” usually usually took the form of a promise of commitment or exclusivity. It was interesting to observe that the many a woman would delay making “demands” on her partner for as long as possible as she was fearful of losing her mate. The imperative however was the biological clock, demanding that a stable relationship be entered for the good of the offspring. It was at this point that the relationship broke down. Time to start again: all men are Bastards.
Indeed their inability to “keep” a man was interpreted by themselves as a failure of attraction or, in a psychologically negative sense, proof of their ugliness. As the cycle repeated, the ideation was verified. A course of anti-depressant medication usually improved their symptoms if not their mental state. They were sad, not mad. They were suffering from a reactive depression with the consequential psychosomatic symptoms. Their existential situation was the cause of their problems. . . .

Please read the whole thing, because it is important to understanding the fundamental grievance that underlies most of modern feminism. Women are unhappy, and feminist ideology offers them a systematic explanation — a political analysis — for their unhappiness.

Having an explanation is not the same as having a solution, however, and the persistent unhappiness lends itself to a sense of rage: If the “patriarchy” is causing their unhappiness (as feminism tells them), then the more unhappy they become, the more vehemently they lash out at the personified scapegoat. This is really politics as psychotherapy, an acting-out of emotional problems.

It is not that I am unsympathetic to the plight of women, but I refuse to accept the rigid quasi-Marxist ideology by which feminists delude women into believing “the personal is political,” i.e., they can solve their individual unhappiness through collective action.

Dana Pico at First Street Journal has relevant thoughts on “SlutWalk” and the attendant feminist rage.

Disagreement as ‘Harassment’? @StephHerold Says Tell the FBI

Posted on | August 13, 2013 | 134 Comments

“You are just an ignorant, inarticulate, hate-filled bigot — a typical American — and you are so insignificant that Sara Alcid can’t be bothered to notice.”
Robert Stacy McCain

Talking back to a Queer Feminist is a now evidently a hate crime or something, and Badger Pundit chronicles how my reply to a “reproductive justice” activist made Sara Alcid a heroic martyr in the “War on Women.” Disagreement is hate, because feminism.

Let’s remember what happened: My editors at The American Spectator assigned me to cover Saturday’s “SlutWalk DC,” a sort of feminist festival in which women celebrate victimhood, and the syllogism can be simply summarized: “Shut up, because rape.”

My description of that memorably ridiculous event prompted Sara Alcid to denounce me as “disgusting.”

We are not allowed to reply to them, you see.

These people are Our Moral Superiors. We are inarticulate subhumans who have no rights, not even the First Amendment free speech right to express disagreement or defend ourselves against insults.

We cannot reply by pointing out that Sara Alcid is a disciple of “queer theory” feminist Judith Butler, or that Sara Alcid works for a 501(c)3 non-profit abortion advocacy organization, or that Sara Alcid views Valentine’s Day as a hateful occasion when “heteronormativity and gender roles … rear their ugly heads.”

We cannot point these things out, because disagreement is hate.

The flawed logic of their rhetoric, their enthusiasm for bad ideas, their fanatical desire to destroy all that is true, right and decent in the world — no, you can’t point this out, because if you do, some people might say mean things about feminists, and people who say mean things about feminists are evil hateful sexist harassers who are trying to silence and intimidate these courageous women.

On the other hand, when the Southern Poverty Law Center publishes a “hate map” that inspires a deranged pervert to go shoot up the Family Research Council — that’s not hate or harassment.

Progressive activist Brett Kimberlin’s attempt to have his estranged wife involuntarily committed — that’s not hate or harassment.

The obscenely vile things that liberals say about Michelle Malkin, Sarah Palin, Ann Coulter and other conservative women — none of that can be condemned as hate or harssment and, in fact, feminists like Sara Alcid generally applaud and participate in the Left’s ongoing campaign to demonize and marginalize conservative women.

You can’t point this out, however, because pointing out the malicious dishonesty of feminists is “harassment and bullying.”

Also, never mention that Sara Alcid is in favor of killing babies, although I think some people might take notice of this.

If Stephanie Herold wants to keep digging that hole, I’m glad to help.

Please, ladies, never doubt your own monopoly on truth. Never consider the possibility that your philosophy is wrong. Never think of the blood of innocent victims you sacrifice on the altar of “choice.” Never waiver, never heed the “still small voice” of conscience, and please never repent your sins, lest you spare yourselves the torments of Hell.

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness . . .”
Isaiah 5:20 (KJV)

Mystery Solved–BHO Went To The Rodeo To See The Bull And Fetch Fresh Policy

Posted on | August 13, 2013 | 44 Comments

by Sissypuss the Blog Kitty

The seemingly bizarre story about the President of the United States going

to the Missouri State Fair — surely crawling with patriots, and people who “built that”, and thus the about last place that #OccupyResoluteDesk might seek to buy votes — has a clear explanation:

Obama was running low, and needed to visit the bull for some fresh policy ideas to fling at Congress next month.

[Left] Our good President stands poised, ready to return to the fount of his wisdom for a hot batch.

Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) and Rep. William Lacy Clay (D-Mo.) were among the politicians who condemned the rodeo clown who wore a mask of President Obama and asked the crowd if they wanted to see the president “run down by a bull.”

“Four legs good, two legs bad“, especially when your task is to slink about the farm or rodeo in search of the story.

It turned out that Obama has “run down by a bull” on a very regular basis these last five years, and bovine males have presented Barack their finest ideas by the shovel-full.

Or had the aroma of ObamaCare escaped you? Don’t worry, you’ll all soon be covered by it.

The incident took place at the Missouri State Fair over the weekend. Clay issued a statement saying the act showed “an ugly face of intolerance.”

While this blog rarely finds part, parcel, or pasture for agreement with the likes of Clay, one must admit that Obama’s commitment to dairy air these last five years has come at the expense of both mountain and sea breezes.

One bemoans the lack of diversity of thought on display, has to allow that the Martha’s Vinyard diversion with the .00001 % while making this heartland pilgrimage was as slick as a fresh cow pie.

Our Moral Superiors So Seldom Condescend to Address Us Directly

Posted on | August 13, 2013 | 149 Comments

Sara Alcid: Infinitely superior to the typical American.

“And now apparently shocked at the ‘intimidation’ of being quoted on the Internet, Ms. Alcid has protected her tweets — a victim, no doubt, of ‘patriarchal oppression.'”
Donald Douglas, American Power

Recently, I began referring to liberals as Our Moral Superiors, because that’s who they think they are. If you’ve ever read Thomas Sowell’s The Vision of the Anointed, you understand that their policies are an expression of moral narcissism: By advocating liberalism, they demonstrate to themselves how much better they are than everyone else, and they expect to be admired for this.

Who could possibly be more superior than a Queer Feminist like Sara Alcid, who attended prestigious Bryn Mawr College (undergraduate tuition $42,870 a year), had the honor of associating with leading queer-theory feminist author Judith Butler — superstar“! — and then became a programs and policy associate of the Reproductive Health Technologies Project, and a writer for Everyday Feminism, warning against the evils of traditional Valentine’s Day celebrations — heteronormativity, gender roles and systems of domination, you know.

Is it correct to say that Sara Alcid hates everything we hold dear? Wouldn’t it be more accurate to call her attitude contempt?

We are so far beneath her, she can’t even notice us enough to hate us.

Perhaps you see why, when this eminent young alumna of elite Bryn Mawr took time from her busy day to call me “disgusting,” I decided to reply with a little bit more than 140 characters.

Sara Alcid is better than you, because she’s a Queer Feminist who attended a prestigious college, and you’re not. She is so much better than you that you can’t even comprehend her vast superiority, her erudition, her knowledge of advanced philosophies that only the most sophisticated minds can ever hope to understand. You are just an ignorant, inarticulate, hate-filled bigot — a typical American — and you are so insignificant that Sara Alcid can’t be bothered to notice.

Every day, Sarah Alcid and her Queer Feminist friends “work to critique and dismantle” those “systems of domination” — religion, marriage, family, free enterprise — that the typical American loves. They claim to do this in the name of “equality,” but what they’re actually doing is demonstrating their own superiority, their authority to take away from you everything that you hold dear and thus to arrogate to themselves complete power over you.

Sarah Alcid deserves this authority. Sarah Alcid is entitled to this power.

You deserve nothing and you have no rights, and if you dare to speak back to Sarah Alcid, this just proves you’re a hater.

Last night, Sarah Alcid switched her Twitter account to “protected” status, so  that no one who disagrees with her can see her messages.

Was it as good for you as it was for me, Sara?

UPDATE: Sara Alcid has now unprotected her Twitter account and, as Badger Pundit chronicles, her friends are telling her to report me to the FBI, because disagreeing with a feminist — “How dare you!” — is obviously some sort of hate crime.

Why Does Lesbian @SaraAlcid Want to Help More Women Kill Their Babies?

Posted on | August 12, 2013 | 439 Comments

It isn’t every day that a “Queer Feminist” with a diploma from Bryn Mawr (undergraduate tuition $42,870 a year) decides she needs my attention, but I’m so grateful for Miss Alcid’s encouragement to expand on what I said this morning:

“Professor Aptheker is exactly right: If you want to be a
true feminist, you must be a Communist lesbian.”

The inherent radicalism of the women’s movement — its theoretical foundation in Marxism, its implacable antagonism to traditional marriage and other institutions of bourgeois society — is not generally understood outside such campus cauldrons as Bryn Mawr.

Feminism is a totalitarian ideology. It cannot be co-opted or moderated. You cannot negotiate or compromise with feminism, because the ambitions of feminism are without limit. They can accept nothing short of the complete overthrow of “hitherto existing society” (Marx and Engels) resulting in their own dictatorial authority. Halfway “reform” (to which the bourgeoisie may agree in its attempt to stave off this upheaval) can never placate the revolutionary, because the radical does not seek reform, but rather destruction. And the problem that most conservatives have, in trying to cope with radical movements, is that the typical conservative cannot imagine how fanatical — how rigidly unreasonable, how full of passionate destructive hatefulness — the radical really is. Notice how Sara Alcid illustrated her Valentine’s Day article:

“Heteronormativity and gender roles also rear their ugly heads on Valentine’s Day. Gifts for ‘him’ or ‘her’ are clearly divided and marked and it’s almost impossible to find cards that represent queer couples. . . .
“It’s not hard to see why Valentine’s Day is problematic for many feminists. Celebrated traditionally, Valentine’s Day magnifies many of the very systems of domination that we work to critique and dismantle.”

Sara Alcid, “Valentine’s Day: What’s A Feminist To Do?” EverydayFeminism.com, Feb. 14, 2013

What does Sara Alcid mean by “patriarchy”? Well, if you live in a normal family — husband, wife, children — she means you.

Sara Alcid wants to smash your family, smash your faith, smash your community. This is what she means in denouncing “heteronormativity and gender roles” and “systems of domination.”

Sara Alcid hates you, she hates every institution you cherish and respect, and she considers your love for these institutions to be hate.

Sara Alcid believes this because she has been taught this. The fact that you cannot afford $42,870 a year to learn to think like Sara Alcid thinks is further proof of your inferiority, and your inferiority in turn justifies Sara Alcid‘s fanatical determination to destroy everything you love — in the name of “liberation,” of course.

This is Sarah Alcid with her radical lesbian heroine, acclaimed “queer theory” feminist Judith Butler, a notorious enemy of Israel:

Butler has devoted much of her academic career to the struggle to eliminate the state of Israel.  . . .
Butler denounces Israel’s “arbitrary state violence” and “state racism.” She has been a leader in the campaign to impose a worldwide boycott against Israeli universities. . . .
In February 2010, Butler went to the West Bank to demonstrate against the alleged mistreatment of women by Zionist “occupiers.” She denounced Israel at length for its “mistreatment” of Arab women.

This is not coincidental: Israel is America’s ally and because Judith Butler hates America, she must hate Israel, too. Because feminism!

Why does Sara Alcid love Israel-hater Judith Butler? Because Bryn Mawr taught her to love Judith Butler:

Preeminent gender theorist and philosopher Judith Butler holds the 2011 Mary Flexner Lectureship at Bryn Mawr College, joining the ranks of some of the world’s most influential humanists in presenting significant new work at Bryn Mawr.
During her three-week residency in November, Butler is giving a series of three public lectures titled Bodies in Alliance, the first presentation of new work by Butler that is to be published by Harvard University Press. Bryn Mawr faculty members and graduate students join Butler to discuss each lecture after it is presented. Butler has also visited class meetings of five undergraduate courses that incorporate Butler’s work and are being offered in conjunction with the lecture series this fall. Other activities associated with the Flexner Lecture Series include a film series, several informal opportunities for students to meet and talk with Butler, and “Preoccupations: Looking at Pictures with Judith Butler,” a colloquium sponsored by the College’s Center for Visual Culture.

Sarah Alcid wrote 12 articles about Judith Butler’s lectureship, including one entitled, “Judith Butler: A Superstar at Bryn Mawr“:

A flurry of extended excitement could be detected at Bryn Mawr from the moment Judith Butler’s Mary Flexner Lectureship was announced until many students had their parting words with the scholar at the book signing on November 21st. I shared this excitement with my peers and think it is certainly a testament to the intellectual curiosity and passion that makes the Bryn Mawr student body so unique. . . .
As one of the student coordinators and attendees of the “Coffee Hour with Judith Butler” and “Conversations with Judith Butler” dinner events, I was fortunate enough to witness the humorous and down-to-earth sides of the scholar we mostly associate with lofty theory and sharp intellect. . . . In fact, she told me that remaining engaged with feminist theory will help fuel my activism and advocacy work; she sees academia and activism as collaborative and co-supportive.

Indeed, Judith Butler is a “superstar” in academia. Her books sell thousands of copies every year because they are assigned reading in Women’s Studies classes across the country.

Butler is part of what we may call the Feminist-Industrial Complex, a campus-based intellectual machinery that indoctrinates elite students in these ideas. Every important university in America endorses feminism and “queer theory.” These are part of the de facto official belief system of academia. Anyone on campus who dared speak against such ideas (no one does) would be condemned for hate.

Do you understand why Sara Alcid considers criticism of SlutWalk “disgusting”? She was indoctrinated to believe that being a “Queer Feminist” is a heroic calling, in an environment where the presence of Judith Butler on campus caused “extended excitement.”

And now Sarah Alcid works for a 501(c)3 pro-abortion group, the Reproductive Health Technologies Project:

Sara Alcid – Programs and Policy Associate
Sara is responsible for assisting with RHTP’s reproductive health program areas, including health and wellness and contraception and abortion technologies.
Sara graduated from Bryn Mawr College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Gender and Sexuality Studies. During college, she founded and led a chapter of the Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance and interned at Women’s Medical Fund, NARAL Pro-Choice New York and Cancer Schmancer, Inc. Americans for UNFPA named Sara a finalist for the Student Award for the Health and Dignity of Women in 2011. She is also a guest writer for Everyday Feminism and the State Department’s Women in Public Service Project.

Here is Sara Alcid advocating for the cause:

Full implementation of ACA [the Affordable Care Act, i.e., “ObamaCare”] contraception benefits and affordable access to abortion are LGBT [lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender] issues.

Uh, how so, Sara Alcid? One might think that such people have no need for contraception and abortion benefits. But you see, it is vital to the LGBT agenda not merely to advance their own issues, but to do everything possible to subvert any possible opposition.

Every abortion is celebrated as a radical victory by “Queer Feminist” Sara Alcid: Kill more babies, because feminism.

UPDATE: See? Quoting feminists = HATE!

What you discover is that radicals have two discourses: The exoteric discourse, used when speaking to outsiders, is about “choice,” “equality,” “health,” etc. The esoteric discourse, used among fellow radicals, is an entirely different vocabulary: “Smash patriarchy,” destroy “heteronormativity and gender roles” and “systems of domination.”

And when you pull back the exoteric mask to reveal the esoteric truth of radicalism . . . well, that’s intimidation, you haters!

Sara Alcid’s parents spent more than $40,000 a year to have her trained as a “Queer Feminist.” Guess they got their money’s worth.
