Brett Kimberlin’s Enemies List Expands to Include His Estranged Wife: ‘She’s Nuts!’

Posted on | July 18, 2013 | 76 Comments

“What [Brett Kimberlin] revealed is the creepy depths he goes to when he is angry at someone, trying to smear their reputations.”
Aaron Walker, “Final Peace Order Hearing Between Jay Elliott and Brett Kimberlin,” July 16

“Kimberlin, you may recall, was the convicted bomber, habitual liar, and all-around sociopath who claimed to have sold drugs to Dan Quayle.”
— “Cody Shearer,” Slate, May 22, 1999

“Kimberlin seemed to be the only one with a possible motive — to distract police attention from the Scyphers murder and delay or halt their quiet investigation of him.”
R. Joseph Gelarden, Indianapolis Star, “Kimberlin case a maze of murder, deceit,” Oct. 18, 1981

One thing you learn quickly about convicted bomber Brett Kimberlin is the wholly selfish, negative and destructive nature of his personality. If Brett Kimberlin hates you, he will do anything within his power to harm you — even though he derives no benefit from these destructive acts other than the sadistic vengeful pleasure of inflicting harm. Now that Kimberlin is engaged in legal warfare against his wife who left him, we can observe conclusive proof that (a) Kimberlin’s attacks on enemies like Aaron Walker were never really about politics, and (b) the “Accuse the Accusers” method is Kimberlin’s characteristic strategy.

In an effort to discredit his estranged wife Tetyana, Brett Kimberlin had her taken into custody July 6, seeking to have her involuntarily committed for psychiatric evaluation. This vindictive strategy failed — Tetyana was immediately released by Montgomery County District Court Judge Patricia Mitchell — but Kimberlin has continued this destructive smear against her. In a hearing Tuesday before Maryland District Court Judge Barry Hamilton, Kimberlin claimed that Tetyana is mentally ill, off her medications for bipolar disorder.

Note that this smear was entirely irrelevant to the matter before the court, namely the effort of Tetyana’s boyfriend Jay Elliott to get a final peace order against Kimberlin. The judge unfortunately denied that peace order, which means that Kimberlin will be free to continue the harassment Elliott described in his petition:

Elliott, who is employed as a restaurant manager, wrote in his peace order petition that Kimberlin had been threatening and harassing him since October, “calling my work and say[ing] I better watch out.” Elliot said Kimberlin is “going to make me lose my job. … Now my job is on the line. … This is getting out of control.”

Furthermore, Brett Kimberlin has unleashed his online presence against his wife to reinforce his attempts to discredit and destroy her.

A pro-Kimberlin Internet site (which I will neither name nor link) published these tendentious assertions:

Mental illness is a common problem that tears many American families apart, but Tetyana Kimberlin was able to remain with her husband Brett and their children despite her malady. Friends knew them as a troubled, but loving family that was beating its challenges. In fact, Tetyana stopped taking her medication last year, and Brett was worried. . . .
Mental illness often results in arrest and unemployment, but it isn’t clear what arrest Tetyana is talking about. The people who know Brett and Tetyana best understand exactly why he would ask the judge to have her examined. . . .
Note that in Maryland, being off your medication is not enough grounds to be involuntarily committed. Tetyana has to want to get better, and she will never want to get well as long as she has a support network to keep her from hitting bottom.

Please notice these intimations of personal familiarity: “Friends knew them . . . The people who know Brett and Tetyana best . . .”

Who is the author of these claims on a pro-Kimberlin site? Other than the attempt to smear and discredit Tetyana, what possible motive could anyone have for publishing such things? Does Tetyana Kimberlin know the person responsible for these attacks?

Accuse the Accusers” — a strategy by which Kimberlin and his allies seek to discredit anyone who tells the truth about Brett Kimberlin.

The use of pseudonyms (and a site hosted by a secretive overseas provider used by many pornographers) permits Brett Kimberlin to deny responsibility for smears against his estranged wife. His online presence, which we can call “Team Kimberlin,” employs distracting psy-ops tactics to transfer agency, to falsely portray Kimberlin as a victim, creating confusion about the sequence and causality of events. Team Kimberlin is now claiming that bloggers John Hoge and Aaron Walker have caused events which in fact they have merely reported.

A notorious criminal, Brett Kimberlin is now terrorizing his estranged wife and her boyfriend. Brett Kimberlin in 2007 made his family the subject of an 800-word feature article in the Washington Post.

“‘Happy Springtime (Bush Is Over)’ is more than five minutes of John ‘n’ Yoko footage, of birds fluttering past a billboard reading ‘Imagine Peace’ and of beautiful children singing . . . A credit at the end leads viewers to Justice Through Music, a civic engagement nonprofit run by Kelsie’s father. . . .
“The credit for ‘Springtime’ goes to Kelsie’s dad, musician-activist Brett Kimberlin. . . .
“‘All of the kids in the choir are very liberal,’ says Brett Kimberlin. ‘They wouldn’t do this if they weren’t in the cause.’
“Kelsie agrees. ‘I don’t like Bush because he sends people to be killed,’ she says.”

Monica Hesse, “A Little Surprise For the Prize-Giver,” Washington Post, Nov. 8, 2007

Such enthusiastic publicity may help explain why, for example, Kimberlin’s 501(c)3 tax-exempt Justice Through Music Project received $5,000 from the Barbra Streisand Foundation in 2008, its best fundraising year ever, when total contributions to JTMP were reported to the IRS as $558,543 — for “social justice,” you know.

Now that his wife has left him, however, Brett Kimberlin thinks that Tetyana and Jay Elliott’s claims of harassment are not newsworthy and — surprise, surprise! — reporter Monica Hesse and her editors at the Washington Post seem to agree, because they haven’t published a word about these disturbing developments in the career of the convicted felon they so enthusiastically celebrated in 2007.

Evil is what Brett Kimberlin is. Evil is what Brett Kimberlin does. Everyone who assists Brett Kimberlin is an accomplice to evil, and silence about Brett Kimberlin’s evil is a form of assistance.

“‘He told me if I will try to take my kids with me he will hurt me and I will see what will happen to me,’ Kimberlin’s Russian-born wife wrote in her petition for a protection order, a case that was heard [July 9] in Silver Spring, Maryland. ‘He tells my 14-year-old about his plans about me and what he is going to do with me.’
“Kimberlin has ‘been calling me terrible names … telling my children that I am mentally ill,’ his wife wrote . . .”

“Progressive Activist Brett Kimberlin ‘Abusive … Threatening,’ Wife Claims”

What might have happened if Monica Hesse or anyone else at The Washington Post had ever told the truth about Brett Kimberlin?

One week ago, I called them out for their deliberate lies:

Brett Kimberlin: The ‘Musician-Activist’
That @MonicaHesse Wants You to Forget

Checking the archives a week later: NOTHING.

Because Monica Hesse and the Washington Post are active and willing agents of Brett Kimberlin’s evil.

By her deliberate and shameless silence, Monica Hesse is now assisting Brett Kimberlin’s harassment of his estranged wife Tetyana.

Brett Kimberlin, despite being forbidden from testifying in Maryland, was able to present testimony of his own. . . . [H]e made ugly, unsubstantiated and ultimately irrelevant allegations about them both . . . As he was defaming this man and the mother of his children, the judge actually cut him off, saying, “I don’t care about that.” . . .
[O]f particular interest is his bizarre accusation that Elliott was a Mormon who planned to make Ms. Kimberlin part of his polygamous harem . . .
He also had the nerve to call Elliott a “predator.” This from a guy who once called a ten year old girl his “girlfriend.” But this is typical of Brett Kimberlin: accuse the accusers of doing what you actually did.

That’s from Aaron Worthing’s account of Tuesday’s hearing, and you could also read John Hoge’s brief account of Tuesday’s hearing, but you cannot read a Washington Post account of Tuesday’s hearing. But this omission does not surprise any honest person.

The Washington Post is a disgrace to journalism that employs hired liars like Monica Hesse. The Washington Post and Monica Hesse are engaged in a conspiracy to conceal the truth about Brett Kimberlin.

In 2007, Monica Hesse did not tell the truth about Brett Kimberlin, and in 2013, she will not tell the truth about Brett Kimberlin.

The truth about Brett Kimberlin has never been printed in the Washington Post, nor will it ever be. No honest person would work for the Washington Post, which only publishes evil lies.

Angela Corey Should Be Fired, Disbarred, Imprisoned and Sued Into Bankruptcy

Posted on | July 17, 2013 | 155 Comments

The more I learn about this woman, the more I hate her: She got George Zimmerman charged with murder based on a misleading probable cause claim, rather than getting an indictment from a grand jury. Also, Angela Corey is an evil vindictive bitch:

In 2008, Corey was elected state attorney for Florida’s Fourth Judicial Circuit, taking over from Harry Shorstein — the five-term state attorney who had fired her from his office a year earlier, citing “long-term issues” regarding her supervisory performance.
When Corey came in, she cleaned house. Corey fired half of the office’s investigators, two-fifths of its victim advocates, a quarter of its 35 paralegals, and 48 other support staff — more than one-fifth of the office. Then she sent a letter to Florida’s senators demanding that they oppose Shorstein’s pending nomination as a U.S. attorney. “I told them he should not hold a position of authority in his community again, because of his penchant for using the grand jury for personal vendettas,” she wrote.

Did I mention that Angela Corey is an evil vindictive bitch?

An information technology specialist who say he was fired for exposing information that he said Florida prosecutors attempted to withhold from George Zimmerman‘s defense attorneys will file a lawsuit against his former employers.
Ben Kruidbos was fired after testifying at a June 6 hearing that photos and text messages from Trayvon Martin‘s cell phone were not turned over to the defense, as required by law. Kruidbos’ attorney Wesley White told Reuters news agency that he will be filing a whistleblower lawsuit against the office of Angela Corey and Bernie de la Rionda, who were appointed to prosecute the case against Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch captain who fatally shot Martin in February 2012.

Read the rest at Viral Read. My goal in life is to see Angela Corey serve a stint in prison — maybe on a corruption charge, but any felony will do — and then in about 2019, she’ll be out on probation, taking orders as a waitress at a Waffle House beside an I-95 off-ramp, and living in a nearby rent-by-the-week efficiency apartment.

She’s an evil vindictive bitch. And I’m a neutral objective journalist.

Politician of Unknown Partisan Affiliation Is a Notorious Serial Sexual Harasser

Posted on | July 17, 2013 | 45 Comments

It’s time once again to play our favorite game, “Name That Party”!

“God forbid, if you were a single woman he found the
least bit attractive. He was relentless and disgusting,
and sometimes unforgiving.”

Need a hint? Amanda Marcotte hasn’t said a word about this creep. And no, not on her Twitter feed today, either, that I can tell. But then again, maybe you need some more clues.

A city councilwoman and two lawyers, formerly allies of
the mayor, held a press conference to air the charges
lodged against Mayor Filner by a variety of women.

Hmmm. What party could this be?

Donna Frye described other specifics about a victim:
“He grabbed her, kissed her, jamming his tongue
down her throat.” Frye went on to describe another
encounter: “The Mayor quickly had his hand
down the inside of her bra.”

Gee, maybe this creepy molester should be getting some attention from the media — “War on Women,” and all that — but Mayor Bob “Filthy” Filner is scheduled to give the keynote speech at a benefit for victims of sexual assault, so I guess his heart is in the right place.

And his tongue is down your throat.

And his hand is inside your bra.

Representin’ Ewok and the Signifyin’ Jive

Posted on | July 17, 2013 | 39 Comments

Inside jokes about Ace’s resemblance to the cuddly creatures of The Return of the Jedi are a sort of signification — an advertisement of tribal membership — in the same way I sometimes get all redneck when I’m angry and start quoting The Outlaw Josey Wales.

The AOSHQ Moron throws out the inside jokes like a Crip throwing gang signs, letting his fellow Morons know he’s one of them. Tribal membership requires one to represent — to conform to the ethos of the tribe, to defend the tribal honor, and to attack the enemies of the tribe. Belonging to the tribe confers certain benefits on the members, although these benefits may not be apparent to outsiders. Nevertheless, the valuable prestige of the tribe requires these signifying and representing customs.

Sociologists and anthropologists understand this and, if you followed the 2007-09 meltdown of the Little Green Footballs tribe, you recall that the key turning point was when Ace — tiring of Charles Johnson’s phony act — decided to throw down on that mofo.

There was a sort of blogger “street smarts” involved there. As full of crap as I have sometimes been, God forbid I should ever be so full of crap that Ace decides to blow me up. It’s like pissing off Dan Riehl — there are some errors a smart blogger avoids.

“Street smarts” aren’t especially common among elite journalists, because the path to an elite journalism career doesn’t usually involve cutting school to go get high with your hoodlum buddies — you’ll never make it to Harvard that way — and the uptight culture of the elite journalism tribe isn’t a place where a former teenage dopehead feels especially comfortable.

All of this is a lengthy preamble to Ace’s reaction to a Richard Cohen column about the Travyon Martin case. Ask yourself this: Why did George Zimmerman think Trayvon looked “suspicious,” “up to no good,” “on drugs or something”? Ace explains why understanding the signification factor is essential:

Among the poor — poor whites, poor blacks, poor Hispanics, poor “White Hispanics” — there is a big difference between the Aspirational poor and the Accepting poor. A poor person who advertises himself as a striver, an achiever, is not usually perceived as a threat.
A poor person, on the other hand, who signals himself as part of the sad, cynical, violent thug culture — and every race has some version of this — is perceived as a threat. I might not be able to see a white guy’s Neck Tattoos and Iron Cross earring at the same distance I can spot someone’s skin color, but the moment I do see the Neck Tattoos and Iron Cross earring, I am in fact labeling that guy as “Likely threat, seems to advertise his identity as being based in Prison Culture. Do not approach.
There is a very big difference between people who advertise themselves as I’ve Got Nothin’ to Lose and those who advertise themselves as I Do In Fact Have Something to Lose. The fact that the latter sort of person has skin in the game himself makes him nonthreatening — he’s not comfortable with impulsive life-changing criminal decisions either.
But the first sort of person is all but advertising he doesn’t think much of his own life and therefore, of course, doesn’t think much of others’ lives, which is the dangerous thing. . . .

Go read the rest at Ace of Spades HQ, or ima f–k you up, mofo.

Just Another Law-Abiding Citizen of Beautiful Downtown Realville

Posted on | July 17, 2013 | 90 Comments

“Fred, I’m gonna be very honest with you here: People like you are a problem. . . .
“You can get mad at me because I’m pointing things out, but you’re just getting mad at fact, and you’re making extrapolations or interpretations that I didn’t make nor intend. I’m not trying to distract anybody. I’m the mayor of Realville — and what I mean by that is, I live in the world of reality.
“The truth is all I care about.”

Rush Limbaugh, July 16, 2013

Having been mentioned two days in a row on the most popular radio program in the world is kind of cool. All I did was write a 700-word summary of reporting and research, most of which had previously appeared at The Last Refuge a.k.a. The Conservative Treehouse.

“People like you are a problem,” Rush told his caller Fred yesterday and, as usual, Rush was absolutely right. Outsource your thinking to the media, jump to a conclusion based on what other people are telling you, and then refuse to consider the possibility that there may be facts that contradict the pre-fabricated conclusion you have been spoon-fed by a pack of hired liars. Above all, never pay attention to the demonstrable pattern of deception, the way in which all the artful falsehoods and deliberate distortions point you toward the same political prejudice: Vote Democrat!

Are these media people ideological liberals, or are they just Democrats? How do we distinguish liberal bias from crude partisanship?

You have to wonder about that, when you see everyone on CNN nodding in agreement while Rachel Jeantel recalls how she warned Trayvon Martin that the “creepy-ass cracker” George Zimmerman might be a gay pedophile predator.

Holy stereotypes, Batman! On what planet do liberals so much as acknowledge the possibility of the existence of gay pedophilia? But let this lecture be delivered by a 19-year-old black high-school dropout — “Run, Trayvon! Dat creepy-ass cracker gonna rape you!” — and all the “liberals” react as if this were the apex of wisdom.

Try to imagine if something like this had been said on CNN by a Republican politician or some redneck Baptist preacher who talked like Larry the Cable Guy. Outrage! Homophobia!

But when Rachel Jeantel says it, Piers Morgan doesn’t bat an eye, his liberal audience nods in agreement, and anyone who points out that Rachel Jeantel is an idiot . . . RAAAAACIST!

There’s no way to win. If you point out the double-standards and hypocrisy, this only proves you’re a “right-wing extremist,” see?

Liberals are always like Fred, who objected to Rush Limbaugh’s reference to the facts of Trayvon Martin’s juvenile criminality. They’re prejudiced — they’ve bought into the pre-fabricated conclusion — and your attempts to enlighten their benighted minds are rejected as signifying that you are a bad person, because only bad people dispute the liberal worldview that leads to false conclusions.

Bad motives (mala fides) are always ascribed to conservatives. You must be a racist, a sexist, a homophobe or some other kind of evil person, says the liberal, or otherwise you’d be liberal, too. And that kind of “argument” (the scare-quotes necessary because these are not actually arguments in the sense of formal logic) is entirely acceptable to people who have never set foot in Realville. (No low-information voters here.)

The problem, of course, is that liberals dishonestly attempt to persuade us that they possess a monopoly on intellectual prestige. It’s like the global-warming consensus: If you carefully purge from the ranks of “respectable” scientists everyone who disagrees with the consensus — demonizing dissent — then it becomes possible to say with a straight face that All Respectable Scientists Agree.

“The science is settled!”

And it’s a goddamned tautology.

Whatever happened to skepticism, huh? Whatever happened to the admiration of intellectual curiosity and the mischievous idea that perhaps the status quo Conventional Wisdom is wrong?

Why, for example, are educated people willing to accept without question the idea that what happened to Trayvon Martin can only be explained as a consequence of racism? Is it not possible that Trayvon’s own ignorance contributed to his death? Even if we stipulate that George Zimmerman was wrong to pursue Trayvon — “We don’t need you to do that,” as the 911 dispatcher said — was this teenager completely without fault in that fatal encounter?

Three days after a jury declared Zimmerman not guilty of murder, CNN continued its wall-to-wall coverage of the case Tuesday, misinforming its audience about basic facts. Over and over, CNN’s hosts and commentators brought up Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law, despite the fact that this law enacted in 2005 had nothing to do with the Zimmerman trial. But issues that may have a lot to do with the trial, the networks are willing to ignore. The one thing that CNN and the rest of the media establishment have refused to discuss is the path that brought a teenager to his fatal encounter with the neighborhood watch captain of that townhouse community in Sanford, Florida.
Trayvon Martin was not from Sanford, Florida. This is perhaps the most important fact of the entire story, in part because it may explain why the teenager was so disturbed at being followed by George Zimmerman. Trayvon was from Miami Gardens, the largest majority-black city in Florida, where the population is 76 percent black and 22 percent Hispanic and “creepy-ass crackers” are quite rare. Crime is commonplace in Miami Gardens — the crime rate is about 70 percent higher than the national average — and Trayvon Martin was one of the criminals. . . .

Please read  the whole thing at The American Spectator.

Welcome to Realville, where the laws of logic are strictly enforced. Rush Limbaugh is the mayor, and I’m just a law-abiding citizen.
