DNC Platform Lets Hamas Off the Hook

Comparing the language of the 2008 Democratic Party Platform and the 2012 Democratic Party Platform a key section was removed.

That section called for isolating Hamas “until it renounces terrorism,” so now, evidently, Democrats are OK with Hamas terrorism.

Press statement from Matt Brooks, executive director of the Republican Jewish Coalition: “This administration is painfully out of touch with the mainstream of the Jewish community, which knows that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, and that it must remain the undivided capital of the Jewish State of Israel.”

 As I’ve been saying for some time, this isn’t your father’s Democratic Party. This is the Sirhan Sirhan wing of the Democratic Party.

Cops probing the deaths of a couple pulled from a river found a purple sex toy, duct tape, a computer hard drive and cable ties on their hired boat, it emerged yesterday.
Officers also retrieved a blood-stained sheet stuffed into a carrier bag, a laptop, screws, brackets, lengths of cable and two tubes of lubricant gel.
Last night police said the woman had been strangled and was dead before hitting the water. Her death was being treated as suspicious.

Interviewed Sunday on KKTV in Colorado, President Obama was asked to grade his presidency and gave himself an “incomplete.” Maybe he’s grading himself on the curve, but Paul Ryan isn’t impressed with Professor Obama’s academic rigor:

CBS News:

Republican vice presidential candidate Rep. Paul Ryan said in regard to the comment, “Four years into a presidency and an incomplete?”
Ryan complained that “[t]he president is asking people just to be patient with him” before attacking Mr. Obama for “picking winners and losers in the economy” and borrowing and spending money.
“That doesn’t work,” he told CBS News’ Charlie Rose. “So, I think the incomplete speaks for itself, and that is why I think we are going to win this and get this country on the right track because we’re offering solutions.”
Added Romney Campaign Spokesperson Amanda Henneberg: “If President Obama can’t even give himself a passing grade, why would the American people give him another four years?”

I’m reminded of Bluto in Animal House: “Seven years of college down the drain. Might as well join the f–king Peace Corps.”

Cherokee People, Cherokee Tribe: Elizabeth Warren Can’t Hide Her Lies

Princess Fauxcahantas, the alleged 1/64th Native American, will give a major speech at the Democrat National Convention in North Carolina, ancestral homeland of the Cherokee to whom she implausibly claims kinship. Heap big trouble, Elizabeth Warren:

Elizabeth Warren can’t escape her Cherokee heritage controversy even at this gathering of loyal Democrats, as a contingent of skeptical American Indian delegates — including the great-grandson of Geronimo — are inviting Warren to a meeting tomorrow to explain her ancestry claims.
“I think she owes us that, she owes the Native American community here at least that,” said Stephen Lewis, a member of the Gila River Indian community. “That would go a long way in dispelling that question.” . . .
[M]any of them expressed anger that Warren listed herself as an American Indian minority in law school directories without any proof.
“If you are native, there is no doubt, and if one has to research to try and ascertain if they are Native American, I would have great concerns with that and I think naturally I would just wonder if that was a vehicle she would want to use to her benefit,” said Frank LeMere, an American Indian activist of the Nebraska Winnebago Tribe. “If that is the case, shame on her.”

The most recent poll — by a Democrat firm, no less — shows Warren losing by five points to Scott Brown. It takes a special kind of stupid for a Democrat to lose a statewide race in Massachusetts. William Jacobson at Legal Insurrection explains:

Warren has claimed internet fame for her famous “no one got rich on his own” speech which was the foundation for Obama’s “you didn’t build that” speech. Warren holds herself out as a fraud fighter, and her campaign theme is “Accountability.”
Yet Warren has yet to accept accountability for falsely claiming to be Cherokee during key moments in her career, starting in the mid-1980s when she started listing herself as Native American in order to appear on the “Minority Law Teachers” list in the faculty directory of the Association of American Law Schools. That directory put the law school community, including recruiters, on notice of Warren’s alleged minority status.

That is to say, Warren’s flimsy assertion of affirmative-action victimhood — the blondest “minority” imaginable — gave her twofer status in quota-conscious academia. As both female and minority, her stolen claim to ancestral oppression helped Warren jump to the head of the application line at elite Ivy League law schools. You know why Warren is losing in Massachusetts? Because there are a lot of hard-working folks in Massachusetts whose kids never got a chance to go to Harvard, and the sight of this wealthy blonde woman gaining privilege by exploiting a phony claim to victimhood makes them very, very angry.

Unions Boycott Democrat Convention

North Carolina has a Democratic governor, Bev Perdue, and sent its electoral votes to Barack Obama in 2008, but it’s still a right-to-work state. That means employees in the Tar Heel State are free to choose to join a union — or not. Because of this, North Carolina has the lowest percentage of union membership in the nation, just 2.9 percent as of 2011. . . .
[L]abor looks at the convention — with delegates staying in non-union hotels and dining at non-union restaurants, and Obama accepting his nomination at a football stadium built with non-union workers — as a poke in the eye. As a result, many in labor will boycott the convention outright. The AFL-CIO, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Laborers International Union of North America and others have withheld an estimated $10 million in contributions that would have helped pay for the convention — a radical change from 2008, when unions helped pitch in more than $8 million to help the DNC pay for its national convention in Denver.

Meanwhile, the Romney campaign has put out the word that they raised $100 million in August, but we’ve heard nothing at all about the Obama campaign’s fundraising. Just another data point to support Doug Ross’s “tidal wave” theory.

Poll: Most Voters Aren’t That Stupid

Unfortunately for the Democrats:

A majority of voters believe the country is worse off today than it was four years ago and that President Obama does not deserve reelection, according to a new poll for The Hill.
Fifty-two percent of likely voters say the nation is in “worse condition” now than in September 2008, while 54 percent say Obama does not deserve reelection based solely on his job performance. . . .
Just 40 percent of voters said Obama deserves reelection.

(Via Memeorandum.) A political party organized on the basis of deceiving the ignorant will eventually fail when the people wise up. From this stems the constant pressure for Democrats to invent new lies. Ed Morrissey at Hot Air:

This demonstrates the danger for Team Obama in running on their record. They cannot allow this election to be about Barack Obama and his agenda. They have to make it about Mitt Romney and how deeply scaaaaaaary Republicans are.

In Which I Confess Confusion

One of those bits of ‘Dude Wisdom’ is that you don’t try to figure women out. No good can come of the effort. Relax, become comfortable with the unfathomability.
But still. . . the picture above seems so contradictory. The entire slut ethos would seem to be about pure, present-tense carnal release. Hedonism with any quantity of any species, in any geometry, with ‘feeling good’ the only measure of value. Pregnancy, and any thought of the teleological point of sexuality should be right out. These are the people of Sandra Fluke, whose pagan homages to Baal are followed by throwing their offspring to the fires of Moloch for a chaser.

Hence my bewilderment: why would any of these depraved women actually carry a child to term, and labor for Obama? Would Barack be the father of the child?  Perhaps symbolically–Obama’s image as a monogamist, family man being the only untarnished aspect of his image remaining. But the supreme ordeal of going into labor, to say nothing of the medieval prison sentence of motherhood, are abhorrent to these women, or so I thought.

Then again, even women who run around in reductionist vagina garb may have some sense of societal preservation that helps them see past their slutty myopia. Some notion that, after the party, and the hangover, and the rehab, and the confessional book, there might be some other phase of life, where offspring are a comfort and a joy, albeit not of the endorphin-based variety.

Should I ever be blessed with a daughter, I shall have to tell her that today’s crop of anit-intellectual, anti-spiritual bints are bimbos for the ages, and there is no need whatsoever to emulate their substitution of infantile degeneracy for mature liberty.
