Did President Obama Invent Muslim Victims of Egyptian Church Bombing?
Posted on | January 2, 2011 | 12 Comments
Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit notes that although Obama issued a statement saying that the New Year’s Day bombing at a Coptic church in Alexandria caused “deaths and dozens of injured from both the Christian and Muslim communities,” news reports indicate all 21 killed were Christians, as were 71 of the 79 reported injured.
So even though the jihadi killers were clearly targeting Christians, the Equal-Opportunity Victimhood Principle requires that accidental injuries to eight Muslims be accorded equal status with the purposeful violence against 92 intended Christian victims.
But at least Obama is now on the record as being against terrorism.

Rule 5 Sunday – Actually On Sunday This Week!
Posted on | January 2, 2011 | 4 Comments
Let’s welcome The Constitutional Crusader to the weekly Rule 5 Extravaganza, especially since he seems to be having a wretched holiday season, beset with woes both automotive and computer-related. Still, it’s not completely wretched, since in the Christmas spirit he provides these fine views of Gemma Atkinson, Lucy Pinder, and, well, Lucy Pinder again.
In Europe, Lady Gaga turns Nazi recruiting agent? I’m sure YankeePhil was as surprised as we were to see this in the Daily Kos.
Mind Numbed Robot submits Catherine Zeta Jones for our consideration. “Because she needs the attention, and I need the hits.” We appreciate honesty, and we also appreciate Ms. Zeta-Jones.
WyBlog, on the other hand, prefers Jenn Sterger.
Soylent Green, having difficulty finding a PG-13 submission, sends in this rendition of Gaia made flesh. Now that’s some global warming! He also submitted the New Year’s Eve Corset Friday post, but I dunno, looks a little risque for this family-oriented blog. Or maybe not. Maybe that’s the fabric I’m seeing in that one pic.
Also contributing to the warming trend is Juliana Moreira, brought to our attention by Richard McEnroe of Three Beers Later. Not content with this, he provides 3:41 of Denise Milani looking extremely sexy in glasses.
Proof Positive contributes Naomi Campbell (showing the importance of reading) , Penelope Cruz, and some vintage Rule 5 with Yvonne Craig, at one time known for playing Batgirl/Barbara Gordon opposite Adam West’s Batman.
Mr. Charles Hill of Dustbury offers Maria Sharapova and a Zooeypalooza!
Finally, the Dividist provides much-needed illustration for the Italian Topless Beach Legal Kerfluffle.
Thanks to all for your submissions!
Send next week’s pinup possibilities to Rule5Wombat!

$20 Says Eugene Volokh Had Sunday’s Most-Clicked Link on Instapundit

This delivered at least 5,000 hits in the first four hours:
MORE ON THE CASE OF THAT SENSUOUS TOPLESS ITALIAN SUNBATHER. The Italian justice system seems to have delivered.
Some things are predictable. For instance, when the defendant’s attorney begins a sentence, “Let’s be clear my client is tall, brunette and has an ample breast and is therefore . . .,” the rest of that sentence is irrelevant. After that, the mind drifts, the eyes glaze over and it’s like Charlie Brown’s teacher talking: “Mwah mwah mwah mwahmwah mwah.”
Another blogger sent that to me, asking, “Eugene Volokh goes Rule 5?” Yeah, the cat’s out of the bag now. It’s only a matter of time before we start seeing blog headlines like this:

‘Few People Understand the Damage Boys Who Are Abused by Women Can Suffer’
Posted on | January 2, 2011 | 23 Comments
So says Dr. Helen Smith in regard to an Arizona case where an underaged boy (allegedly) had sex with both (a) 48-year-old Susan Brock, and (b) her 21-year-old daughter Rachel Katherine Brock:
Rachel Brock is accused of committing numerous sex acts with the teenage boy between February 2007 and August 2008, and sending him nude photos and a video of herself masturbating; none of the acts involved intercourse. The boy was 14 at the time, and Rachel Brock was 18, classifying the crimes as dangerous crimes against children.
Police said that between August 2007 and October of this year, the teen met Susan Brock for sexual trysts. Susan Brock reportedly provided the boy with cell phones, and police seized text messages reportedly recording sexual exchanges between the two.
Chandler police Sgt. Joe Favazzo said it appears that Susan and Rachel Brock didn’t know about each other’s relationship with the teen.
To summarize: Beginning in February 2007, 18-year-old Rachel was involved with the 14-year-old boy. Six months later, the boy began an affair with Rachel’s mother and continued his involvement with both of them for another year, after which he discontinued his affair with Rachel, but continued doing her mom for another two years. Wisconsin Dem Bumper Sticker Shows ‘Bloody Crash’ into GOP Governor’s Head
Posted on | January 2, 2011 | 8 Comments
Robin Vos, a Racine Republican, is taking offense at a Democratic bumper sticker he claims shows a train slamming into Gov.-elect Scott Walker’s head in a bloody crash. He thinks Democrats should stop offering it.
The bumper sticker is available on the Wisconsin Democratic Party’s website. The sticker is emblazoned with the words “High Speed Fail.”
The Underground Conservative has the background:
It’s not enough that the Democrats in Wisconsin were kicked to the curb in November.
It’s clear that they still don’t have a clue as to what hit them and why. . . .
One of Scott Walker’s main issues in winning the governor’s race was his intent to cancel the half-fast, car-speed train projected to run between Milwaukee and Madison. The federal government was to provide the initial $810 million to construct the choo-choo, but the operating cost would have to be picked up by state taxpayers, already facing a $200 million budget deficit, thanks to a lousy economy and fiscal mismanagement by outgoing Gov. Jim Doyle and the recently defeated legislative Democrats.
Walker correctly realized that the state couldn’t afford this “gift” from the Obama Regime and announced plans to kill the train, whose average speed would have been about 55 mph, lower than the speed of the average car going between Milwaukee and Madison, plus the car actually takes you where you want to go. He also recognized there was neither the need nor the demand for the choo-choo, which, like all rail mass transit projects, low-balls cost and overestimates ridership.
Naturally, the choo-choo zealots went apoplectic. . . .
