‘White Supremacy’: The Liberal Media’s Racial Narrative vs. Common Sense
Posted on | December 8, 2018 | Comments Off on ‘White Supremacy’: The Liberal Media’s Racial Narrative vs. Common Sense
One of the dishonest rhetorical tricks that liberals have recently played is to substitute “white supremacy” for “racism” as an accusation with which to smear conservatives. You might imagine we were living through a neo-Nazi revival, the way liberals keep finding “white supremacy” lurking everywhere. The use of this scary term, which conjures up images of goose-stepping Nazis and cross-burning Klansmen, became necessary after groups like the SPLC discovered that merely calling someone a “racist” had become ineffective. Liberals have so overused “racist” as to deprive it of any meaning other than “a white person I don’t like.” If you spend much time analyzing political rhetoric, you realize why liberals developed this habit of name-calling. Because they advocate policies that won’t work or which taxpayers can’t afford (the U.S. government is already $20 trillion in debt), liberals must engage in deception to gain support. Identity politics is once such deception: Claim that a policy will benefit a particular group that is disadvantaged or oppressed, and then accuse opponents of the policy of “hate” against the group.
Consider the way law enforcement was demonized by the “Black Lives Matter” movement. The disproportionate prevalence of crime in the black community means that, if police are doing their job, they will arrest a disproportionate number of black criminals. An analysis of crime statistics reveals that black males, who are less than 7% of the U.S. population, commit about half the violent crime in the country.
Most of this is black-on-black crime, so if you want to protect the safety of law-abiding black people, especially women and children, this will involve arresting and prosecuting a lot of black male criminals. Quod erat demonstrandum. Accusing the police of “racism” simply for doing their job is easy. Just wait for an “incident” to happen:
By depicting criminals like Michael Brown as innocent victims of racist police, activists sought to exploit widespread public ignorance about the reality of crime and law enforcement in America. Heather Mac Donald exposed this reality in her book The War on Cops, pointing out that a police officer is 18.5 times more likely to be killed by black man than the other way around (see “Putting Homicide in Perspective vs. the Media’s ‘Atrocity Narrative’ Propaganda,” Oct. 3, 2017).
All that was necessary to discredit “Black Lives Matter” was to cite these facts, but CNN and other liberal media outlets were devoted to stoking anti-white rage in the black community, since such sentiments tend to benefit the Democrat Party. And if you point this out — the partisan aspect of racial politics in American — guess what they’ll call you? Yep, you’re a “white supremacist”! Because Democrats claim to care deeply about black people, any criticism of Democrats is condemned as “white supremacy,” and every time Republicans win an election, “racism” is always blamed. Because intelligent people cannot be forever deceived by political propaganda, however, liberal bias actually contributes to white resentment, as they perceive the racial favoritism involved every time the media mourns a slain criminal suspect as an “honor student”:
SWISSVALE, Pa. — Hundreds gathered in a school auditorium [June 25] to pay respects to Antwon Rose, the unarmed 17-year-old high school student who was killed by a police officer last week.
Rose, a rising senior and honor student, was shot three times after fleeing a vehicle during a traffic stop and running away from officers. . . .
Mary Brookins, a substitute teacher at the school, said she is hurt and confused by Rose’s death and said the teen was always respectful to her.
“I have sons and it could have been my son,” Brookins told NBC News. “I can always remember that smile he had.”
“No one has a harsh thing to say about him because there is nothing harsh to say,” added Lillian McClain, who grew up with Rose’s family.
CNN actually broadcast Antwon Rose’s funeral live, which is remarkable. In a nation where there are more than 15,000 murders annually, how many murders does CNN cover, as crimes of national significance? So far this year, 474 people have been shot to death in Chicago. How many of those funerals did CNN cover? But never mind that. What about the “honor student” Antwon Rose? Why was he “fleeing a vehicle during a traffic stop”?
A teenage boy has been charged in last week’s drive-by shooting in North Braddock — an incident that happened minutes before Antwon Rose was fatally shot by police.
Zaijuan Hester, 17, of Swissvale, was arrested in the Hill District around 11:30 p.m. Monday for cutting off his ankle bracelet in a prior case, authorities said.
Charges against Hester for the June 19 drive-by were filed Wednesday morning. A criminal complaint shows that he is charged with felony counts of aggravated assault, attempted homicide, receiving stolen property and a firearms violation. . . .
Minutes after the drive-by shooting, a car matching the vehicle’s description was stopped by East Pittsburgh police.
Rose, 17, was shot by Officer Michael Rosfeld as he and a second passenger, later identified as Hester, ran from the car.
Rosfeld was charged with criminal homicide Wednesday.
The drive-by was caught on surveillance video:
The video showed the rear passenger window rolled down before a handgun emerged and fired .40 caliber bullets. Casings from those bullets at the scene of the shooting were later positively identified as having come from a .40 caliber Glock found under the back portion of the Chevy’s passenger’s seat.
Detectives said that the person in the front passenger seat, where Rose had been sitting, did not fire any of the shots, the complaint said. . . .
[Allegheny County Police Superintendent Coleman] McDonough said Rose was unarmed but that two semi-automatic handguns were found on the floor of the vehicle.
So the “honor student” was riding along with his buddy Zaijuan Hester, gunning for somebody in a drive-by and, while Antwon Rose didn’t fire any shots, there were two guns in the car. The officer who shot Antwon Rose has been charged with murder, and clearly violated proper procedures, but where is the “racism” here? If you participate in a drive-by shooting, get caught by police and take off running, what do you expect to happen? But common sense is now “racist,” I suppose, and those who watched CNN’s coverage of the Antwon Rose case were not informed that the “honor student” was an accomplice in a drive-by shooting, because that doesn’t fit the narrative.
What is the effect of the media’s racial credibility gap? If intelligent people see that CNN is deliberately distorting the news, and that these distortions involve a racial bias, isn’t it likely that this will foster resentment toward the beneficiaries of the liberal media’s bias? That is to say, rather than blaming the media, some white people will blame black people, so that media bias has the perverse effect of inciting attitudes that might be called “white supremacy.” Having thus fostered racial division because of their biased coverage, the media will then cover the phenomenon of “white supremacy” as if this was something that developed spontaneously, and in which they were not complicit.
If you don’t want armed teenage hoodlums creating havoc in your community, you’re a white supremacist, according to CNN. And what’s worse, you might even vote Republican.

“Oh no! Bill, its optical sensors are active.”
“OK. We’re already frozen in place, Mike. It’s 200 clicks to base. Comms are down. What do we do?”

“Same.”
“Bollocks.”

“Yeah.”
“Well, it’s that and the empty pistol. You think you can take this thing with a butt stroke?”
“That’s a very intimate question, don’t you think?”
“Dude! Here it comes”
The thing emitted a very natural grow and came at them.

UPDATE: Kemberlee Kaye at Legal Insurrection reports:
Friday afternoon, federal prosecutors issued a sentencing memorandum recommending “a substantial term of imprisonment” for former Trump attorney, Michael Cohen.
“As set forth herein, consideration of the factors set forth in 18 U.S.C. § 3553(a) weighs heavily in favor of a substantial term of imprisonment. In particular, the nature and seriousness of the offenses and the need to promote respect for the law and afford adequate deterrence are especially weighty considerations,” says the memo.
Cohen pleaded guilty to charges of tax evasion, fraud, and lying to Congress.
UPDATE II: One America News Network:
U.S. President Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort lied to federal investigators about a payment and contacts with Trump administration officials, the U.S. special counsel investigating whether Trump’s 2016 campaign colluded with Russia said in a court filing on Friday.
Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s office submitted the filing to a U.S. District Court judge in Washington who had asked for more details on Mueller’s allegations last month that Manafort had breached a plea agreement by lying.
“In his interviews with the Special Counsel’s Office and the FBI, Manafort told multiple discernible lies — these were not instances of mere memory lapses,” Mueller’s office said in the filing.
According to the filing, Manafort lied about his interactions with Russian-Ukranian political consultant Konstantin Kilimnik, Kilimnik’s efforts to tamper with witnesses, the circumstances surrounding a $125,000 payment to a firm working for Manafort, and Manafort’s contacts with officials in the Trump administration.
Manafort also provided investigators with shifting accounts about information relevant to another Department of Justice investigation.
The filing also said that Manafort, who maintains he has been truthful to Mueller, appeared before a grand jury twice.
UPDATE III: Fox News:
The White House responded to the filing by distancing itself from Manafort.
“The government’s filing in Mr. Manafort’s case says absolutely nothing about the president,” White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said. “It says even less about collusion and is devoted almost entirely to lobbying-related issues. Once again the media is trying to create a story where there isn’t one.”
Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani told Fox News the memos show prosecutors “have nothing” on the president and “we are very happy about it.”
That’s the bottom line, really. For the past couple of days, the liberal media have been hyping up anticipation that finally, Mueller had found “Russian collusion,” but he hasn’t found it and, after nearly two years of looking, it doesn’t seem likely he ever will. Just now on Fox News, Anthony Scaramucci said it was as “very good day for the president,” because it doesn’t appear that Mueller has gotten anything from either Cohen or Mueller that hurts Trump.
Transgender Totalitarianism: Virginia High School Teacher Fired Over Pronouns
Posted on | December 7, 2018 | Comments Off on Transgender Totalitarianism: Virginia High School Teacher Fired Over Pronouns
The insanity of adults encouraging confused teenagers to “transition” has reached rural King William County, Virginia:
The West Point School Board has fired a high school French teacher following an ongoing transgender controversy issue at the school.
Peter Vlaming, a teacher within the school system for seven years, was fired from his position Thursday night after a five-and-a-half hour public hearing with the school board.
Vlaming’s attorney fought the Superintendent’s recommendation to dismiss the teacher based on claims of insubordination and repeated refusal to comply with directives made by WPPS administrators. . . .
“Tolerance is a two-way street,” said Shawn Voyles, Vlaming’s attorney. “My client respects this student’s rights; he is simply asking that his rights be respected as well… The student is absolutely free to identify as the student pleases. The school board adopted one viewpoint and required Mr. Vlaming, at the cost of his job, to repeat that ideology, repeat that viewpoint. That’s where it’s compelled speech. That’s where it violates his First Amendment right he still retains as a public employee.”
This issue came to a crux during a virtual reality exercise back in October, where Vlaming said he called out “don’t let her walk into the wall” as the transgender student walked in that direction.
Vlaming claimed it was a slip of the tongue.
“I’m totally happy to use the new name,” Vlaming said. “I’m happy to avoid female pronouns not to offend because I’m not here to provoke… but I can’t refer to a female as a male, and a male as a female in good conscience and faith.”
“That was in fact discriminatory because all the other students were being used pronouns, but this student was not being used pronouns,” Superintendent Laura Abel testified.
On Oct. 31, Vlaming was placed on paid administrative leave after West Point High School Principal Jon Hochman said Vlaming did not obey his directive to use the proper identity pronouns for the student (“he”, “him” etc.). . . .
Voyles said his client was sent a letter Nov. 6 by {Superintendent Laura] Abel stating: “My expectation is that you will treat [the student] the same as other male students, including using his preferred name and using male pronouns to refer to him. If you refuse to comply with this directive or if you have any further instances of using female pronouns or of avoiding the use of male pronouns to refer to [the student], it will be considered insubordination and will result in termination of your employment.” . . .
“The policy speaks not one word about pronoun usage,” Voyles said. “There is absolutely nothing in the policy, as the witnesses admitted from the school division, that speaks to that issue. Which makes that policy so problematic that it leaves it up to the individual for interpretation.” . . .
“This is a new issue in this country,” Voyles said. “These administrators had just two words, ‘gender identity’, that were added to their policies and they decided on their own what it means to discriminate against gender identity.”
Here’s an idea: If your child is delusional — in this case, a girl who believes she’s a boy — maybe don’t send them to school. Maybe you should put them in a lunatic asylum. But instead, what is being done in the name of “inclusion” is requiring everyone to participate in the psychotic teenager’s “gender” delusions. You can be fired from your job for refusing to cooperate with this coercive insanity.

Transgender Terrorism: British Feminist Professor Targeted for Harassment
Posted on | December 7, 2018 | Comments Off on Transgender Terrorism: British Feminist Professor Targeted for Harassment
The transgender cult tolerates no dissent:
A law professor says she has been threatened with rape and murder and forced to hide behind trees to avoid transgender-rights activists who allegedly drenched her office door in urine.
Prof Rosa Freedman, 35, of Reading University, said an anonymous caller had also found her personal mobile phone number and made a series of ‘harassing’ calls to her overnight.
Women’s rights expert Prof Freedman is among a number of academics that have called for sex and gender to be defined differently in law, which would mean transgender women could be barred from entering ‘women’s only’ toilets or prisons.
Prof Freedman believes her abusers could have been buoyed by academics calling her a ‘bigot’ and ‘transphobic’ over her views on social media.
She has called police and said she was concerned the attacks could escalate after reporting the attack on Twitter in the early hours of this morning.
She wrote: ‘I found my office door covered in urine, including some that had seeped under the door, and I spent time cleaning it up because I could not bear the smell or the shame of what had happened.
‘Last week I discovered criminal damage explicitly encouraging me to leave the University.’ . . .
‘Last night someone seems to have accessed my mobile phone number and has been calling it through the night. . . .
Asked if she was concerned the attacks could escalate, she said: ‘It’s concerning, that being said there’s a student society on campus who are strongly opposed to everything I say – but they’ve come out quite strongly today that they condemn this type of behaviour.’
She added: ‘This started over the last year for many academics that speak about sex and gender being two separate things.
‘I’ve been on Women’s Hour in the last couple of weeks. Yesterday we had a women’s rights meeting organised by Women’s Place UK – it was in Reading and a couple of others were speaking.
‘Some students tried to shut the meeting down and have a protest so that meeting may have started it.’
The lunatics are running the asylum.
Comedian Kevin Hart Quits Oscar Host Gig Over ‘Homophobia’ Accusations

The SJW Thought Police take another scalp:
Kevin Hart is stepping down from hosting the Oscars after homophobic tweets surfaced on Thursday.
The tweets, between 2009 and 2011, included derogatory language referring to gay people and made disparaging comments about sexuality. Some of the tweets have since been deleted.
One of the tweets from 2011, that has since been deleted, said “Yo if my son comes home & try’s 2 play with my daughters doll house I’m going 2 break it over his head & say n my voice ‘stop that’s gay’.”
“I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year’s Oscar’s,” Hart, who is currently performing in Sydney, Australia, said via Twitter. “This is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists. I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past. I’m sorry that I hurt people… I am evolving and want to continue to do so. My goal is to bring people together not tear us apart. Much love & appreciation to the Academy. I hope we can meet again.” . . .
“The reason why I passed is because I’ve addressed this several times,” Hart said. “I’m not going to continue to go back and tap into the days of old when I’ve moved on and I’m in a completely different space in my life.”
Chad Griffin, the head of an LGBT civil rights advocacy group called the Human Rights Campaign, responded to Hart on Twitter.
“You have a rare opportunity to take responsibility, teach people in this moment, & send a message to LGBTQ youth that they matter & deserve dignity & respect. You say you’ve grown. Show us. Make amends for hurtful things you’ve said & affirm LGBTQ people,” Griffin said. . . .
Why not just have Rachel Maddow host the show and be done with it? Ratings are in the toilet anyway. “Get woke, go broke.”
Lena Dunham Lied About Rape, Again
Posted on | December 6, 2018 | Comments Off on Lena Dunham Lied About Rape, Again
A year ago, at the height of the #MeToo revelations, a young actress named Aurora Perrineau filed a police report accusing Murray Miller, writer and executive producer of HBO’s Girls, of raping her in 2012, when she was 17 years old and he was 35. Girls creator and star Lena Dunham defended Miller, claiming she had “insider knowledge of Murray’s situation” and was confident that he had been falsely accused.
Now, Dunham says she “made a terrible mistake”:
I didn’t have the “insider information” I claimed but rather blind faith in a story that kept slipping and changing and revealed itself to mean nothing at all.
She then goes on to address Miller’s alleged victim directly:
To Aurora: You have been on my mind and in my heart every day this year. I love you. I will always love you. I will always work to right that wrong. In that way, you have made me a better woman and a better feminist. You shouldn’t have been given that job in addition to your other burdens, but here we are, and here I am asking: How do we move forward? Not just you and I but all of us, living in the gray space between admission and vindication.
Publishing this mea culpa in the Hollywood Reporter might not be the most tasteless thing Lena Dunham has ever done — she’s habitually tasteless — but it’s perhaps the most insulting.
Lena Dunham lied. She lied to protect a man accused of raping a teenager. But rather than admitting she’s a liar, she claims this was a “mistake” based on her “blind faith” in Miller. Let’s take a walk down Memory Lane, shall we?
The most important thing to understand about Lena Dunham is her dishonesty. She wrote a book in which she falsely claimed to have been sexually assaulted by a Republican when she was in college. She refused for months to admit her fabrication, nor did she apologize to the innocent person harmed by her deliberate (and politically motivated) defamation.
Lena Dunham lies routinely and habitually. Slander is her raison d’etre and deceit is her modus operandi. No honest person would willingly associate with Lena Dunham, and only bad people admire Lena Dunham.
Lena Dunham is the worst sort of celebrity trash, and Chicago Tribune columnist Heidi Stevens has had enough of her:
At this point, Dunham’s apology is little more than performance art. The latest episode of her favorite show: Project Lena.
The more we watch, the deeper she digs into her own not-that-fascinating psyche, tuning out the lived experiences and thoughts and pain of other people, except as they relate to hers.
Enough. I can’t watch anymore. I feel complicit in her marginalization of literally every person whose orbit she enters. Farewell, Lena Dunham. Please get better soon.
Just shut up, go away and take your gynecological problems with you.
