Holy Crap — I Was Right! Republicans Considered Craziness Issue With Judd

Headline on the very first news article I wrote for ViralRead after becoming editor-in-chief on March 13:

Will Ashley Judd’s Mental Illness Impact Her Senate Bid?

Top of Memeorandum today, David Corn, Mother Jones:

Secret Tape: McConnell and Aides Weighed
Using Judd’s Mental Health and
Religion as Political Ammo

Certainly my news report about Ashley Judd’s admitted history of mental illness did not reflect any knowledge of private discussions by the Senate Minority Leader and his staff. This information about Judd was an obvious enough vulnerability to anyone who bothered to Google.

But . . . damn. It’s just spooky sometimes.

I commented when she said she wasn’t going to run that it was because her “Team” found out what the opposition research McConnell collected on her. What if it was Judd’s unofficial exploratory team that bugged McConnell’s office?

Let’s face it she’s crazy enough to pull anything.

So NBC-4 had a story quoting Judd whining about the “politics of personal destruction”. After Sarah Palin’s napalm shower at the hands of the Left (and senior GOP losers), I’m all: “Weep me the Chorna“, as in, “Crimea river”.

Since when has insanity been a disqualifier for a Democrat in the Senate?

Yeah, but it’s not insanity when they act like that. [/sarc]

The election team for barack managed to get Jack Ryan’s SEALED divorce proceedings unsealed.

Before that, barack made the state take the incumbent’s name off the ballot in some other form of base thuggery.

So I’d say that McConnell ought to simply run the recording and tack on, “I’m Mitch McConnell, and I approve this message.”

I’m wondering about this, Stacy. If you listen to the tape, you can hear papers rustling and some smart phone tapping. Could this have been leaked by a staffer, and the Dems are just waiting for the FBI to discover that so they can call us all terrible people for accusing them of such underhanded tactics?
