High School Freak Show: Colorado Girls Claim Harassment by Teen Transsexual

Coming soon to a public school near you.

“Who knows whither the ’emerging awareness’ shall henceforth emerge?”
— Robert Stacy McCain, The American Spectator, June 26

America’s descent into decadent perversity advances, as high school girls in Florence, Colorado, say they were forced to share the school’s restroom and locker room with a teenage shemale:

Attorneys with Pacific Justice Institute sent a strongly-worded letter this afternoon to school officials at Florence High School, warning them against squelching student privacy and speech rights in order to cater to the wishes of a teenage boy who has been entering girls’ bathrooms on campus.
“This is a nightmare scenario for the teenage girls—some of them freshmen—and their parents at this school,” noted PJI staff attorney Matthew McReynolds, who sent the letter to Principal Brian Schipper and Superintendent Rhonda Vendetti. “This is exactly the kind of horror story we have been warning would accompany the push for radical transgender rights in schools, and it is the type of situation that LGBT activits have been insisting would not happen.”
Parents at the school, located near Colorado Springs, became irate when they learned that a teenage boy was entering girls’ bathrooms and, according to some students, even making sexually harassing comments toward girls he was encountering. When the parents confronted school officials, they were stunned to be told the boy’s rights as a self-proclaimed transgender trumped their daughters’ privacy rights. As the controversy grew, some students were threatened by school authorities with being kicked off school athletic teams or charged with hate crimes if they continued to voice concerns. The parents became aware of PJI’s Notice of Reasonable Expectation of Privacy and contacted PJI for help.

This became worldwide news. Guess what happened next? Gay activists and other left-wing groups started shrieking, “Fake story!”

FOX News, continuing its long history of anti-trans media coverage, is promoting a false story about a transgender high school student in Colorado who was allegedly harassing her peers. . . .
As the story was picked up by the Examiner.com, and internationally by the UK’s Daily Mail, Cristan Williams at the TransAdvocate pointed out the lack of input from any teachers, parents, or students at Florence High School, and decided to do some fact checking of her own. In a phone conversation with Cristan, Florence High School Superintendent Rhonda Vendetti clarified the misinformation, saying, “We do have a transgender student at the high school, and she has been using the women’s restrooms. There has not been a situation. All the students of these parents who say they feel uncomfortable just about the fact that the student is allowed to go into the restrooms at the high school, into the stalls – they don’t believe that that’s appropriate, so that’s where it stems from. There has not been an incident of harassment, or anything that would cause any additional concern.”

Do you see the trick there? Instead of this being a story about a genuinely creepy situation no sane parent would tolerate — a pathetic freak using the girl’s restroom — they want to shift the narrative, to turn it into a story about Fox News (evil!) and “anti-trans” bias.

Notice, however, that the school superintendent does not deny that parents have complained about the policy at issue.

Instead, the superintendent verbally minimizes the problem — ” parents who say they feel uncomfortable” — without directly addressing any of the complaints reported by the Pacific Justice Institute. How is this a “fake story,” when the superintendent actually confirms (a) that “a transgender student . . . has been using the women’s restrooms,” and (b) that parents have complained this is not “appropriate”?

(On what planet does anyone think this is “appropriate”?)

Yes, of course, the superintendent denies that her bizarre policy has led to “an incident of harassment, or anything that would cause any additional concern,” but what do we expect? Do we expect the superintendent to admit that her policy has led to harassment?

The predictable shrieks of “fake story” (e.g., Media Matters) are intended to discourage mainstream news organizations from picking up on the story, because the one thing the Left doesn’t want is for parents to understand how far their radical agenda has gone.

Notice, also, the shrewd P.R. tactics being employed: The superintendent gave an interview to her sympathizers at TransAdvocate, but  when National Review‘s Alec Torres tried to follow up, he was “was unable to reach Rhonda Vendetti, Florence High School’s superintendent, who will be out of the office for the rest of the week.” Convenient, eh?

What we are seeing here is a logical consequence of the Supreme Court’s 2003 Lawrence v. Texas ruling in which Justice Anthony Kennedy, in the process of invalidating state laws against sodomy, articulated the Emerging Awareness Doctrine:

In all events we think that our laws and traditions in the past half century are of most relevance here. These references show an emerging awareness that liberty gives substantial protection to adult persons in deciding how to conduct their private lives in matters pertaining to sex.

Even though Kennedy limited the scope of his (unconstitutional) idea to “adult persons,” it was inevitable that gay radicals would seek to apply this “substantial protection” to minors because:

  1. If public schools are about preparing children for adulthood, and adulthood means a weird carnival freak show of abnormality, then your kids must learn about dildos and drag queens;
    and
  2. Pedophiles have for decades sought to use the gay-rights movement as a vehicle for legalizing their own deviance.

This is not an allegation, but a well-documented fact, and the angry denials of gay activists, like the denials of the Colorado school superintendent, do not change the fact that people who (a) want to have sex with kids, also (b) support the gay rights agenda.

Putting liberal sympathizers like Principal Brian Schipper and Superintendent Rhonda Vendetti in charge of public schools is part of an agenda to institute favorable policies, implementing pro-homosexual curricula in the name of “anti-bullying” and “tolerance,” and teaching the kind of explicit “comprehensive” sex education advocated by the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network (GLSEN).

Of course, most sex offenders (including teachers) are heterosexual, but heterosexual perverts can’t hide behind claims of “equality” or accuse their critics of “discrimination,” “bigotry,” “hate,” et cetera. Pedophiles of all varieties are eager to advance the cause of deviant sexuality as a “right” because only under conditions Matt Barber has described as Sexual Anarchy can child molesters hope to find “tolerance.”

Letting a teenage drag queen use the girl’s bathroom? Hey, you can be sure that on the shadowy bulletin boards where pedophiles gather online, Principal Brian Schipper and Superintendent Rhonda Vendetti are their new heroes. Therefore, gay activists and the mainstream media are determined to marginalize and suppress this story, as the Pacific Justice Institute understands:

A story broken last week by Pacific Justice Institute and picked up by media outlets around the world has inspired near-panic among transgender advocates who have now begun their own counter-campaign in an attempt to divert attention away from the story. . . .
Under intense pressure, several news sites took down or retracted their stories rather than investigating further. Not so fast, say PJI attorneys.
“Transgender activists are in full damage control mode because they know how explosive and damaging to their cause this story is,” noted Brad Dacus, president of Pacific Justice Institute. “The central issue in this case—a high school’s decision to give a biological teenage boy full access to teenage girls’ bathrooms is both disturbing and not seriously disputed. It is very revealing that the Superintendent is seeking sympathy from transgender activists instead of addressing the serious concerns raised in our letter.”

  1. Nah, just set up a bathroom for transgender and transsexual students separate from the male and female bathrooms. Avoids the potential for statutory rape and pedophilia, while at the same time protecting the privacy of everyone involved.

  2. I contend America is not disgusted one tiny bit by the unabated societal perversion witnessed daily.

Not disgusted one iota, no siree.

Do you know what has led me to this airtight hypothesis?

It is simply because there are almost no more good people who care enough about society to actually do something about it other than complain on a blog.

Nope, nada, zilch, zero, won’t do a single solitary thing other than bitch with same people, day after day, who mostly feel the exact same way..

People confuse reading blog posts and sending snarky responses with actually doing something to stand up for righteousness.

Sad but true, and the worst part is most of the marginally talented story commenters across America write off my comments as a rant from a right wing kook.

Rise Up I Say, Rise Up!

  3. Edmund Burke had some very interesting things to say about the value of prejudice, e.g. “…what would become of the world, if the practice of all moral duties, and the foundations of society, rested upon having their reasons made clear and demonstrative to every individual?”
The prejudices of the common man are required to protect the civil society. Again he says, “…it is far more easy to maintain a wrong cause, and to support paradoxical opinions to the satisfaction of a common auditory, than to establish a doubtful truth by solid and conclusive arguments.” Most men, when they abandon their prejudices and begin to ‘think for themselves,’ will gradually descend into intellectual and moral confusion. Pope Alexander VI may have been wicked, but at least everyone knew he was wicked. Few on the Left know that Bill Clinton, Anthony Weiner, and NARAL are wicked.

  4. YES! I’d like to use the girl’s room. I just won’t do it if my wife is around. She’s reeeeaaaal narrow minded about me doing such things.

  5. Boo fucking hoo, Let me tell you something, Scooter. You want to meet someone who’s fed up with all the gay/straight/bi/tran/LGBTLMNOP crap, listen to teenage kids talking among themselves these days. They’re fed up with the crap. Why do you think “that’s so gay” is a putdown, now? We don’t have to program the kids… we just have to let them meet you.

  6. ooops
    sorry
calo told me she got it from you anyway
guess there is a lot of twitter stuff I just miss
    🙂

  7. There was also the Excellent Horse-like Senator from New Yorkistan… And Snoozin’ Collins of Maine…

  8. “that “a transgender student..”

Most like a boy who knows he can take advantage of the stupid laws to be able to hang in the girls bathroom

And, yes, I did take much more from the article. F’ing liberal f’heads are doing all they can to destroy society. I’ve never understood what’s in it for them. I doubt they know, either.

  9. When I was in highschool we had freshman initiation in which we guys were expected to trot about in womens cloths. I refused to do it for their kicks, but if I could have used the girls restroom, well, I might have. Restrooms should be determined based on what genetics say you started with. That or line up fifty johnny-on-the-jobs in the school parking lot, then any one can use any biffy.

  10. Uh, he was elected president and elevated in 2008. Prior to that was junior senator from Illinois….
    Get out much? Me neither.

  11. Take your kids OUT of GOVERNMENT INDOCTRINATION CENTERS…

If conservatives did this it would stop this nonsense and save a lot of tax dollars at the same time.

  12. I believe Caligula once elevated an equine friend to the lofty office of senator. Caligula has a lot in common with the incumbent in the White House.

  13. If someone is so hell bent to change their gender they are willing to undergo surgery and hormone treatments, why not provide them with dedicated facilities? Just because you don’t recognize the situation as legitimate does not mean that others are not suffering a real problem.

  14. The problem is it is impossible to create Heaven on Earth by fiat from above. The only was is by people acting on their own to make the world better, and no compulsion by would be philosopher-kings.

  15. what does this have to do with pedophilia? you really should do some reasearch you will find out that pedophilia has nothing to do with being transgendered

  16. sorry its not a mental health problem. please do some reading on the subject you might learn something about transgendered people

  17. you know nothing about the topic please do some reading before you make comments. when did you decide to be straight? you did not people who are gay, lesbian and transgendered did not chose either. but you did chose to be a stupid bigot and hate monger

  18. To be straight is normal and quite natural. Homosexuality is inherently disordered and unnatural. It is a mental illness. Bigotry and hate are words that you, obviously, haven’t the slightest idea of their meaning. Violent response to JollyOldJoe is quite appropriate. JollyOldJoe is quite the h8er.

  19. Yes, if you do some reading, you might learn about Gender Dysphoria, a diagnosable mental health problem as listed in the DSM.

  20. I’m sure God will create Heaven on Earth by fiat. He created it, he can make the rest so just by ordering it.

  21. If the conservatives who stay at home and don’t vote got out there and voted in every election of every level, mane of these problems would be minimized.
