As is the case with a legitimate grass-roots movement, you miss a lot of fantastic material. For example, this Herman Cain video about the Tea Parties:
This was shown to the crowd here to great applause.
Go, Herman!
Krystal Ball Campaign Ad Mashup
Posted on | October 8, 2010 | 16 Comments
Some clever sadistic person decided to combine an actual campaign ad for the VA-1 Democratic candidate with a few of her more . . . eh, interesting photos:
You may be saying to yourself, “That is so cruel. It is so wrong.” But it is certainly not the most wrong video out there. You got no idea how wrong a video can be.
If you click this link, don’t say you weren’t warned to have industrial-strength brain-bleach handy. It cannot be unseen.

BUSTED! Video Documents Role of Democrat Consultant Neal Rauhauser in Smear Campaign Against Tea Party
Posted on | October 7, 2010 | 37 Comments
WARNING: This video is filled with profanity. What it documents — including pedophilia-themed Twitter attacks against children of a Tea Party supporter — involves a network of “progressive” activists apparently organized by Neal Rauhauser, whose firm, Progressive PST, has been hired by many Democratic candidates.
UPDATE: Wow, Greg W. Howard posted this video on his blog two weeks ago, and I didn’t see it until today? Man, I’ve got to start paying closer attention . . .
UPDATE II: Much of the information in the video was collected at the “Swift Read” site of conservative Catholic blogger Patrick Read, who says that he and others have stored page caches of the material.
The video says the purpose is to “illustrate that Neal Rauhauser was soliciting some of the worst provocateurs he could find in an effort to deliberately elicit angered responses from the Tea Party.” It features screen captures of Tweets by several activists alleged to have been part of Rauhauser’s network. Conservative blogger Greg W. Howard was especially targeted for Twitter harassment. (Warning: Extremely graphic language.) Read more
I’m Pretty Sure Christine O’Donnell Never Sucked a Dildo on a Reindeer’s Nose
Posted on | October 7, 2010 | 22 Comments
Smitty linked this morning to the latest scandal involving a Democratic dildo — there are lots of phony wienersuckers in Congress, including Barney Frank — but now Krystal Ball’s disgrace has become a blogospheric sensation. We quote an eminent political prognosticator:
Krystal Ball For Congress
Paid for by the Committee of Dudes With Horny Dick-Noses.
Yeah, that’s from Ace of Spades. The good news is that there was zero chance that phony wienersucker could be elected to Congress even before these photos became public. Republican Rep. Rob Wittman is a lead-pipe cinch for re-election in Virginia’s 1st District. But Krystal reminds us that Democrats are always victims:
“Of course, it’s embarrassing, but more than that I’m — I’m pretty angry about it. I think this is incredibly sexist.”
— Krystal Ball, Democrat who sucks phony wieners
Hey, lady, after all the sexist attacks your party has made against Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann and Christine O’Donnell, why don’t you shut your mouth — or at least put it to good use?
VOTE DEMOCRAT
Phony Wieners, Real Suckers
UPDATE: Dan “Chubby Chaser” Collins informs us that Krystal’s just about 50 pounds shy of perfection.
Republican Ray McKinney Reminds Georgia Voters They Have a Choice
Posted on | October 7, 2010 | 4 Comments
A press release from the Tea Party-backed candidate who is challenging John Barrow in southeast Georgia’s 12th District:
Vidalia, GA — A billboard campaign for Republican Congressional Candidate Ray McKinney warns voters not to stay home on election day – or else Incumbent Democrat John Barrow and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi get to keep their jobs.
“Vote Ray McKinney on Nov. 2 or they keep their jobs,” the billboards read.
Under the words are McKinney’s campaign logo next to pictures of Barrow and Pelosi.
The first billboard went up in Sandersville over the weekend. More are expected soon throughout the 12th Congressional District.
“This message serves two purposes,” McKinney said. “First, it reminds Georgians that, if they do not vote, decisions will get made without their input. Second, I want voters to remember that so many Americans and so many Georgians are out of work, Nancy Pelosi and John Barrow haven’t done anything to remedy that and they might just get to keep their jobs anyway.”
You ought to give $20 to Ray McKinney because he has got John Barrow running scared in GA-12. Barrow has refused to say whether he would vote to keep Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House, and just yesterday the incumbent backed out of a scheduled debate with McKinney:
Democratic U.S. Rep. John Barrow is skipping Sunday’s televised debate with Republican Ray McKinney.
The Atlanta event, sponsored by the Atlanta Press Club, is due to be aired live on Georgia Public Television. . . .
“He’s a smart politician — I’ll give him credit for that,” McKinney said. “He knows he has high name identification. He doesn’t want to take the risk of having to answer questions.
“He should have to answer to his constituents. Instead, he’s just doing things like mailings, which he can control.”
[Regina] Thomas, a former state senator, who [challenged Barrow in the Democratic primary and] also is not endorsing Barrow, said she’s not surprised.
“It’s typical Barrow.” she said. “It’s what he’s been doing for … years. He’s taking voters for granted and doesn’t want to answer for his voting record. It’s an insult to the district.”
While refusing to debate on TV, Barrow did show up this week at a candidate forum in Milledgeville, where Ray laid out his common-sense conservative message:
“You can’t legislate a job,” says McKinney, “but you can legislate a company out of business.”
You can read my previous coverage of Georgia’s 12th District race for The American Spectator:

- April 11: More Trouble for Blue Dog Democrat John Barrow
- April 12: Storm Watch in New Orleans

Hot Air’s Ed Morrissey interviewed Ray in April:
I also interviewed Ray in April:
This is a good candidate who’s running a strong campaign in a very competitive district. Republicans won the 12th district in 2002. Barrow was re-elected by just 900 votes in the 2006 mid-term election. In a district where 44% of the population is black, the bitter Democratic primary campaign against Regina Turner — a former state senator who was backed by MoveOn.org and progressive bloggers — showed just how weak Barrow’s support is within the black community.
GA-12 is clearly a winnable district for the GOP this year, but Ray’s campaign is being ignored by the NRCC because they’re concentrating all their effort on neighboring GA-8. So if you want Ray to beat John Barrow, the grassroots are going to have to get behind him. You can follow Ray on Facebook, and just $20 from you will make a difference, folks. What do you say?

Stock Market Inflation: The Rich Get Richer Because the Fed Is Cheating You
Posted on | October 7, 2010 | 5 Comments
One of Instapundit’s savvy readers writes:
The latest surge higher in the Dow is folks betting on a Bernanke “put” . . . that the Fed will debase the dollar so much that prices will rise in nominal terms. Stocks aren’t going up in gold or Euro terms.
You don’t have to be a “gold bug” or an anti-Fed fanatic to understand how the inflationary policy of the Federal Reserve has been reflected in stock prices. Inflation isn’t caused by scarcity, it’s caused by the devaluation of currency, and Ben Bernanke’s policy for the past two years has dramatically devalued the dollar, as the rising gold price shows:
This just goes to show that you can’t hide inflation. The price of gold has gained $153 per ounce — an increase of 12.8% — since May. (You should have listened to Glenn Beck!)
In the spring of 2009, I talked to a friend of mine who’s a private-sector economist. Because he works for an investment firm, he isn’t authorized to issue public analyses, but when I asked him what was going on with the economy, my friend said, “They’re trying to re-inflate the bubble.”
We haven’t seen inflation in consumer prices simply because deflationary pressures have been so strong since the collapse of the housing bubble. Home values have plummeted, foreclosures have skyrocketed and the unemployment rate is at a 30-year high.
So ask yourself, “Who got bailed out?” Wall Street, that’s who. Goldman Sachs and other “too big to fail” companies have made out like bandits in the past two years.
Now ask yourself, “Who did the stimulus help?” Government employees, that’s who. The main focus of the Obama/Pelosi/Reid stimulus package was transferring money to state and local governments to prevent them from having to lay off public-sector employees.
And look: Here’s another bank bailout!
Big business is already sitting on piles of cash. Wall Street investment firms and government-employee pension funds are doing OK in the current environment, and all the economic pain is being felt by private-sector employees and small businesses. The inflationary policy of the Fed, combined with the Democrats’ bailout-and-stimulus policy, therefore amounts to a transfer of wealth from the majority of Americans to the special-interest groups which influence economic policy in Washington.
The government expects to bribe the dispossessed with chump-change “benefits” — food stamps and unemployment checks — so as to avert a political backlash. Fortunately, Americans aren’t that stupid.
The average voter may not be aware of all these economic policy details, but he has a gut hunch that a swindle is being perpetrated. We are now less than four weeks from the Day of Reckoning depicted in this awesome Ace of Spades video:
