Robbery Victim Shot Seven Times, But He Survived. Why? Because He Shot Back
Posted on | June 15, 2021 | Comments Off on Robbery Victim Shot Seven Times, But He Survived. Why? Because He Shot Back
This crime didn’t happen in a ghetto, but in a thriving suburban commercial area west of Houston, Texas, in a McDonald’s parking lot:
Houston police have just released surveillance video of a violent robbery that happened on May 28 in which the victim was shot seven times.
They hope someone may recognize the suspect they believe is responsible for not only this crime but another violent robbery that happened on May 7.
Houston police said a man pulled into a fast-food restaurant parking lot in the 3100 block of Fountain View on May 28 because he wanted to grab a shirt out of his trunk.
He was ambushed by a suspect who put a gun to his head and demanded his property, police said.
When he refused, the suspect started shooting at him, striking him seven times in the chest, legs and hand.
âA lot more of our suspects have guns involved, and not only do they have guns, theyâre using them,â said Sr. Ofc. Jeff Brieden with HPDâs Robbery Division.
Police said while the man was being shot at, he was able to reach for his gun and fire at the suspect, who was possibly injured but he got away.
The victim was able to get back inside of his vehicle and drive away to find help. He survived after two days in the hospital.
Officer Brieden thinks the suspect followed the victim, possibly for his BMW convertible or Rolex watch. . . .
During an investigation into this robbery, police discovered shell casings from the suspect’s gun matched the same shell casings from a robbery that happened on May 7 in the 2700 block of Travis.
Police said two people had just gotten out of their vehicle and were approached by an unknown man who pointed a gun at them while demanding their property.
The victims ran away from the suspect who police said shot at them twice, narrowly missing them.
The only description police have of the suspect is that he is a Black man who is about 5 feet 10 inches tall. He has a skinny build and on the robbery that happened May 28, he got away in a small white SUV.
While there was no description of the weapons involved, my guess is that the robber must have been using a smaller-caliber pistol because how else do you survive seven shots? The key factor, however, is that the victim decided not to be a victim. Watch the video:
Once the victim fired back, the robber took off running.
Look, if you’re going to drive around in a BMW and wear a Rolex watch, you’d better be prepared to deal with carjackers and thieves.
It’s 2021, Joe Biden is president and the judges everywhere are turning loose violent criminal because “social justice” or whatever. You may think you’re safe because you live in a “good” neighborhood, but bad guys from bad neighborhoods might decide to visit your neighborhood.

I admit to not knowing much about the Metal Gear game franchise except that it apparently stars some Snake Plissken-looking dude who goes by the name of Solid Snake and has the secret power of hiding in boxes along with his other elite commando skills. Anyway, there’s apparently a dishy gal called Quiet in the fifth game of the series, and today we’re enjoying her portrayal by Russian cosplayer Sophie Katssby, whose Instagram is here if you want to see more of her pics.

‘Perpetuating Stereotypes’ Again: Three More Mass Shootings This Weekend
Posted on | June 13, 2021 | Comments Off on ‘Perpetuating Stereotypes’ Again: Three More Mass Shootings This Weekend

When a mass shooting erupted early Saturday morning in downtown Austin, the local media refused to quote a police description of the suspects for fear of “perpetuating stereotypes.” Meanwhile . . .
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Three people died and four people were injured in an early-Saturday shooting. None of the victims have yet been identified in the shooting that happened about 2:30 a.m. on Buckeye Road near East 89th Street.
SAVANNAH, Georgia — A mass shooting killed one person and left two others in critical condition. According to the Savannah Police Department (SPD), there are eight total victims in Friday nightâs shooting. Arthur Milton, 20, was killed in the gunfire. Also a 13-year-old and an 18-month-old baby are both suffering non-life-threatening injuries. Police said the shooting occurred near the Fred Wessels Home apartments on Avery Street. Shots rang out around 9 p.m. when a dark-colored or red car drove by the residence and fired into a crowd of people outside the home. Police Chief Roy Minter said a shooting occurred on the same street on Tuesday night but no witness came forward with details.
CHICAGO, Illinois — Ten people were shot early Saturday morning in an attack in Chatham on the South Side, Chicago police said. The Cook County Medical Examiner has identified Kimfier Miles, 29, as the person killed in the mass shooting. The shooting happened just after 2 a.m. in the 7500-block of South Prairie Avenue, according to CPD. Chicago police said the victims were on the sidewalk when two male suspects approached and opened fire. A crowd of people were in the area where the shooting occurred later Saturday morning. Locals say it’s known as a spot where people bring their stylish cars and motorcycles to show them off.
Police haven’t issued descriptions of the suspects in any of these mass shootings, but at risk of “perpetuating stereotypes,” I’m going to take a wild guess and say none of the shooters were Trump voters.

Austin Mass Shooting: Media Won’t Describe Suspect Because ‘Stereotypes’
Posted on | June 12, 2021 | Comments Off on Austin Mass Shooting: Media Won’t Describe Suspect Because ‘Stereotypes’

You might think that when 13 people are shot in downtown Austin, and the gunman is still at large, that it would be a public service to describe this murderous maniac. But you’re not “woke” enough:
Police have only released a vague description of the suspected shooter as of Saturday morning. The Austin American-Statesman is not including the description as it is too vague at this time to be useful in identifying the shooter and such publication could be harmful in perpetuating stereotypes and potentially put innocent individuals at risk.
Oh, if it was a right-wing white supremacist Trump voter who had committed this atrocity, you bet the media would have no qualms identifying the suspect, “perpetuating stereotypes” or not. Because the “woke” media have made themselves utterly useless as a source of facts, we must turn to Breitbart for the relevant information:
A statement from the Austin Police Department states . . . “It is unknown if there is one, or multiple suspects involved. There is one suspect described as a black male, with dread locks, wearing a black shirt and a skinny build.” . . . The shooting follows massive cuts in police funding by the Austin City Council. The council cut $150 million from the police budget . . .
Is it any wonder why people hate the “fake news” media?
UPDATE: One suspect is reportedly in custody, but another is still at large. Police are calling it an “isolated incident” — apparently, two guys with a beef started shooting at each other, and all the wounded victims were innocent bystanders in the crowded nightclub district.
‘Biphobia’ and Other Updates
Posted on | June 12, 2021 | Comments Off on ‘Biphobia’ and Other Updates
Remember my post about Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner “coming out” as bisexual? It was noticed by a Reddit contributor who responded with a thread called “I really hate biphobes” under the category of “BIGOTRY.” And you know what? I don’t care. If considering bisexuality to be pathological is wrong, I don’t want to be right.
Here’s an amusing quote from our bisexual Redditor’s post:
If it’s not obvious he has a poor grasp of sexuality and biology
ROTFLMAO. Yes, I am a father of six adult children, four of whom are already married, and who have so far produced five grandchildren, but I have “a poor grasp of sexuality and biology,” as compared to this anonymous Redditor whose evidence of sexual success is . . . what?
People who claim to be experts based on Science with a capital “S” — our bisexual Redditor is almost certainly also a capital-A Atheist — never seem inclined to evaluate sexual behavior from a strictly Darwinian perspective, where reproductive success is all that matters.
If you will go back and read what I wrote about Sophie Turner, you will note that I allude to my own wild youth and, without waving any of my Fifth Amendment protection against self-incrimination, I must assure readers that I cannot fairly be accused of ignorance of “sexuality.”
Nobody’s offered to pay me for a tell-all memoir, so I’ll spare you the lurid details (and thereby retain plausible deniability, just in case), but am I shocked to discover that many young women like Sophie Turner consider themselves “bisexual”? Not in the least. What shocks me is that they’re willing to publicly admit it, and think it’s a source of pride.
“I’m impulsive, amoral and emotionally unstable — admire me!”
Excuse me for not throwing confetti at your “Bisexual Pride” parade, but does it never occur to such people that it might be possible to evaluate human sexual behavior according to an objective standard? The production of offspring being the entire biological purpose of the enterprise, and durable exclusive pair-bonding being necessary to the proper rearing of children, dispassionate reasoning would favor premarital chastity and monogamous fidelity as social ideals, and would abjure sexual promiscuity. Everything not compatible with these goals would be stigmatized, including adolescent “experimentation.”
The Redditor’s accusation of “bigotry” against me implies that such a rational rejection of bisexuality is impossible, and that only unthinking prejudice can explain my refusal to praise Sophie Turner (as she clearly expects to be praised) for “coming out” as bisexual.
Perhaps we can forgive the Redditor for not knowing how thoroughly I researched the topic of sexuality as part of my deep dive into radical feminism (e.g., “Sex Trouble: Radical Feminism and the Long Shadow of the âLavender Menace,â” July 14, 2014). Those years of staring into the abyss of man-hating lunacy were not wasted:
When Massachusetts became the first state to legalize same-sex marriage in 2004, one of the first women to become a lesbian bride was Robyn Ochs. Despite her marriage to Peg Preble, however, Ms. Ochs does not call herself a lesbian. In fact, she is a longtime advocate of feminist bisexuality . . .
Like all feminists, Ms. Ochs condemns heterosexuality as part of a compulsory âsystemâ by which men (yes, all men) oppress women (yes, all women). . . .
Such was the âfeminist consciousnessâ imparted to Robyn Ochs in the 1970s when, as a teenage college student, she took a womenâs studies class. Later, when she was in her 20s and âconsidering a relationship with a woman,â Ms. Ochs âbegan to see the relevance of feminist theory . . . to my own life.â
How many people have ever heard of Robyn Ochs, the feminist founder of the Boston Bisexual Network? Having spent the time necessary to research the radical origins of the “bisexual pride” movement, I recognize that it is rooted in the anti-male/anti-heterosexual bias of feminism. Why do you think it is that, in recent decades, the number of young women identifying as “bisexual” as increased so much, while the percentage of young men professing bisexuality has scarcely changed at all?
Why do you think Amber Heard destroyed Johnny Depp’s life, anyway?
In 2010, when she was 24, actress Amber Heard publicly âcame outâ as a lesbian. but a year later seemed to reconsider her identity, saying âI donât label myself one way or another.â Gosh, what could have prompted such a reconsideration? Heard had been in a relationship with an older woman, Tasya van Ree, since 2008, so why did she suddenly become uncomfortable with the word âlesbianâ? Ah, she had a target in her sights: Johnny Depp, with whom she co-starred in The Rum Diary. At the time Heard expressed her disdain for labels, Depp was 47 and in a relationship with Vanessa Paradis, with whom he had two children. Depp was also one of the most successful actors in Hollywood, the star of Disneyâs lucrative Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. In 2012, Heard dumped her girlfriend, Depp split with the mother of his children, and they became a couple, marrying in 2015.
This would prove to be the worst mistake of Johnny Deppâs life.
“Never trust a bisexual” — and I hereby prophesy that Joe Jonas will eventually wish he had heeded that warning. Meanwhile . . .
Did you know that Keith Richards used open-G tuning on “Honky-Tonk Women”? That was a song I played in lots of garage bands over the years, and never knew about how Richards specially tuned his guitar — he’s a big fan of open-G, it seems — until I watched it on YouTube.
Ace of Spades runs down Drew Holden’s Twitter thread about how the media narrative about last summer’s riot near the White House helped Biden’s campaign, e.g. “the real inflection point in our polling was the Lafayette Park incident, when Trump used tear gas on innocent people.” The same media outlets are now trying to pretend that the Inspector General’s report debunking that narrative doesn’t expose them as dishonest partisan propagandists. But meanwhile . . .
Thursday, I asked readers to hit my mother-in-law’s tip jar for the 5K “Walk for Life” to benefit Richland Pregnancy Services in Mansfield, Ohio. When I posted that, she was nearing her $400 goal.
Well, guess what? The final total was more than a thousand dollars.
I thank you, my mother-in-law thanks you and, were they old enough to talk, I’m sure the babies of Richland County would thank you.
UPDATE: Thank to the commenter for pointing out that “Gimme Shelter” is played in open-E tuning. That fiendish Keith Richards again! The vampire junkie is as old as my mother-in-law, y’know. Smokin’ Marlboros, drinking Jack Daniels, doing heroin and yet still he seems destined to live to 100, with his devilish guitar tunings.
