The Other Podcast: Episode 4
Posted on | March 18, 2018 | Comments Off on The Other Podcast: Episode 4
John Hoge of Hogewash and I launched a podcast last month during CPAC, but the planned second and third episodes were marred by technical difficulties. Saturday night, however, everything worked and we had a wide-ranging hour-long discussion that included three call-ins from listeners.
We plan to make this podcast a weekly event. Your financial support for this project is most earnestly solicited.
Illegal Immigrant from El Salvador Arrested on Child Exploitation Charge

Juan Alberto Juarez Saravia.
Caught in an eight-state child pornography roundup:
A traveling pastor in Durham [North Carolina] has been arrested by State Bureau of Investigation officers on charges of alleged child sex abuse charges.
Juan Alberto Juarez Saravia, 35, a Salvadoran immigrant who entered the U.S. illegally, worked primarily in the Hispanic community in the Durham area, according to SBI investigators. He was one of 76 people arrested during a mutually coordinated law enforcement operation among eight southeastern states. Operation Southern Impact II also resulted in 13 children being rescued or identified as victims.
The Department of Homeland Security participated in the operation.
Saravia admitted to using a fictitious identity Facebook account to entice a 14-year-old Virginia girl into producing sexually explicit videos of herself which she then sent to Saravia, SBI investigators said. There may be more minor victims, investigators said. . . .
Saravia was charged with first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and taking indecent liberties with a child. Saravia was being held in the Durham County jail in lieu of $750,000 bail.
More on the interstate dragnet:
Thirteen children were rescued from an eight-state child pornography ring that led to the arrest of 76 people seeking and distributing the most violent child pornography involving infants and toddlers, authorities said.
Of the 76 arrested, eight men were in North Carolina and ranged in age from 32 to 73, according to N.C. State Bureau of Investigation. Eight of the 13 children rescued in the multi-state sting were in North Carolina.
During the investigation 1,255 digital devices were seized, 235 of which were mobile phones. The arrests stemmed from cybertips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and online undercover investigations.

Crazy People Are Dangerous
Posted on | March 17, 2018 | Comments Off on Crazy People Are Dangerous
Mark Andrew Topper is a registered sex offender. In 2001, when he was 19 years old, Topper was convicted of a third-degree sex offense in Maryland. However, he is not currently a danger to children because he has been in prison since 2013, and he won’t be getting out soon:
An inmate who beat his cellmate to death nearly 18 months ago while they drank alcohol in their cell at Maryland Correctional Institution-Hagerstown pleaded guilty to second-degree murder Thursday.
Washington County Circuit Court Judge Mark K. Boyer accepted the plea from 36-year-old Mark Andrew Topper, who appeared for the hearing with large horns tattooed on his forehead. . . .
The prosecution is asking for 25 years without the possibility of parole.
Washington County State’s Attorney Charles Strong said Topper pummeled Benjamin Hall to death after the two got in a fight while drinking alcohol in their cell Oct. 10, 2016.
Strong said an officer found Hall lying on his back in a puddle of blood. Topper had blood on his shirt and told the correctional officer, “Get him out of here. He’s done.”
Both Hall and Topper were alleged members of the Aryan Brotherhood prison gang. . . .
Topper told investigators, Strong said, that he had to kill Hall because Hall punched him in the mouth and knocked out one of his teeth.
“I’m missing that tooth for the rest of my life. I don’t take that lightly,” Topper reportedly told a Maryland State Police investigator, according to court records.
Topper, who was serving a prison sentence after being convicted of robbery and armed robbery, was housed in a segregation area of the prison with Hall as his cellmate, Herald-Mail Media has reported.
Hall, 26, was serving a theft sentence at the time of his death.
Some might call this a “win-win,” in that one member of the Aryan Brotherhood is dead, while another — a convicted sex offender with “large horns tattooed on his forehead” — won’t be getting out of prison for 25 more years. But like I keep saying, Crazy People Are Dangerous.
Jeff Sessions Fires Andrew McCabe
Posted on | March 17, 2018 | Comments Off on Jeff Sessions Fires Andrew McCabe
The long-rumored termination happened Friday night:
The Justice Department dealt a stunning blow to former Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe on Friday night, firing him just days before he would have been eligible for a lifetime pension after determining that he lied to investigators reviewing the bureau’s probe of Hillary Clinton’s email server.
“Pursuant to Department Order 1202, and based on the report of the Inspector General, the findings of the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility, and the recommendation of the Department’s senior career official, I have terminated the employment of Andrew McCabe effective immediately,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in a statement.
“After an extensive and fair investigation and according to Department of Justice procedure, the Department’s Office of the Inspector General (OIG) provided its report on allegations of misconduct by Andrew McCabe to the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR),” Sessions said.
Fox News reporter Adam Housley reported on Twitter [Friday night] about the firing of FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, stating his sources were telling him that in the past few days McCabe threatened to “take people down with him” if he was fired. Housley also reported that the Inspector General-Office of Professional Responsibility report had uncovered “tons of stuff” on McCabe unrelated to the Trump investigation and that McCabe’s firing was a morale boost to FBI agents.
No doubt the liberal media will try to portray this as a political vendetta on the part of President Trump, but it appears McCabe was dishonest, and that the FBI had been corrupted during eight years of Eric Holder’s tenure as Attorney General. Clinton broke the law when she used a private email server to conduct official business while Secretary of State; she then obstructed justice by concealing facts from federal investigators. McCabe was apparently part of that cover-up.

When going to the mat,
With an old bureaucrat,
You can threaten him with Hell's own fiery pits.
But if you want to feel the hate,
From a DC invertebrate,
Just threat his "god given" benefits. https://t.co/syekJ7b1w7— I Came; I Saw; I Got Over Macho Grande (@smitty_one_each) March 16, 2018
Per Legal Insurrection, McCabe got the ouster late Friday night. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving piece of work.
Communist Arrested in Texas

Joseph Wayne George, a/k/a ‘Comrade Dallas.’
Yeah, I know what you’re thinking: “Communists in Texas?” But in the 21st century, there is no shortage of fools, and a group of would-be Marxist revolutionaries made headlines in November 2016 when the Red Guards Austin were accused of attacking Trump supporters at the Texas statehouse. Among the six arrested were 36-year-old Joseph Wayne George, a/k/a “Comrade Dallas.” It turns out, George had a criminal felony record, and this was relevant when the Communist was arrested last week and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm as a felon.
Far Left Watch reports that the charges against George could put him in prison for as much as 30 years, and they quote the Red Guards:
They cannot break the will of the movement guided by the sharpest weapon the proletariat has ever wielded: Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, principally Maoism. Though we have many lessons to learn from our errors, and though it grieves us unspeakably that someone we treasure has fallen into the hands of the enemy, we have never been embarrassed by our work and our struggle, and we never will be. We will uphold, defend, and apply Maoism until our deaths.
You want to defend Maoism until your deaths? That shouldn’t take long. Lots of well-armed people in Texas, and they hate Commies.
