Feminists: They Even Hate Love

Posted on | February 14, 2017 | 2 Comments

Is there anything that feminism can’t destroy? Feminists hate babies. Feminists want your tax money to pay for killing babies. If you disagree with feminists, they will do everything in their power to harm you and your family. Regular readers of this blog know the truth: Feminism Is a Totalitarian Movement to Destroy Civilization as We Know It. Feminist ideology is a satanic doctrine, and feminist rhetoric is anti-male hate propaganda. This is a truth that feminists prove anew every day:

More than a decade ago, Lawrence Summers was purged from the presidency of Harvard University after he had the temerity to suggest there are “innate differences” between men and women. Feminists consider all differences between men and women to be socially constructed by the gender binary of the heterosexual matrix, as Professor Judith Butler has declared. Feminism’s goal is to achieve equality through androgyny, eradicating masculinity and femininity so that men and women become exactly identical and, in such an egalitarian post-patriarchal utopia, what basis could there be for romantic love?
None whatsoever, as feminist Carrie Jenkins explains in her new book, What Love Is: And What It Could Be. Professor Jenkins, who teaches philosophy at the University of British Columbia, is an advocate and practitioner of polyamory. Her book has been praised by her fellow feminists as an argument against “traditional, heteronormative, monogamous, pair-bonded, procreative, romantic love.” It is wrong even to imagine that kind of love, Professor Jenkins recently told an interviewer: “This idea that it’s very romantic to be swept off your feet by a Prince Charming figure and rescued from a life of poverty or whatever by a wealthy man, is feeding into these gendered stereotypes. This is built into our ideas of who we find attractive, what it is to have a romantic story attached to your love life.” . . .

‘An Uncomfortable Truth’

Posted on | February 14, 2017 | 2 Comments

Spain is dying. The total fertility rate — average number of lifetime births per woman — is 1.49 in Spain, and this is nearly 30% below replacement level. In December 2015, demographers noted that Spain had passed a crucial milestone — more deaths than births, a harbinger of population decline. Before a nation dies, it first grows old, and the graying population of Spain creates a heavy burden on the country’s pension and health care system, as there are fewer and fewer younger workers to pay taxes.

What Spain is now facing is demographic winter, and a Spanish businessman named Alejandro Macarrón Larumbe has created an organization called Renacimiento Demografico (Demographic Renaissance) to spread awareness of this looming social problem.

“Demographic winter is an uncomfortable truth for radical feminism,” Macarrón said in an interview with La Contra TV this week. The Google translation of an article about his interview is a bit uneven — e.g., using “majors” where a better translation would be “senior citizens,” and using “bigger” where “older” was intended — but I’ll adjust it a bit and you can still get most of what he was trying to say:

Alejandro Macarrón, director general of the Demographic Renaissance Foundation, gives an interview to La Contra TV in which he describes the causes and consequences of the demographic winter that is living Spain. He defines this situation as a “suicide” of our country since, he says, “we are going to die as a people because we do not want children”.
During the half-hour interview, the director general of the Demographic Renaissance Foundation [says] that the fall in the birth rate in our country will cause a deterioration of pensions, “which will increasingly be worse and more painful to pay for active workers”.
Alejandro warns that movements in favor of euthanasia are going to exert more pressure on our society “because there are more and more [retirees] who are very expensive.” “The [elderly] are going to [become] a great percentage of voters, it is the decisive segment for the vote. When the population is smaller and the people are [older], the economy logically goes down,” he assured. . . .
In addition, Macarrón has denounced that before “the woman worked at home. Most of them now work outside the home and it seems that the one that does not is second, one late. Incentives are now given only to those who work outside the home, and that goes against the birth rate. It is discriminatory, the state must be central.”
“Birth is not only a woman’s thing, it seems that the figure of the father has disappeared, in abortion this is very much. Incentives are being given only to mothers. If we think only of women, it favors the absence of family,” he warned. . . .
Finally, Macarrón has pointed out that this situation “is an uncomfortable truth for radical feminism, which discredits traditional women. Also for the environmentalism, which defends that the human being is the problem, since, the less people, the less pollution.”

If you are fluent in Spanish, you may want to watch the video interview:

(Hat-tip: Pete Da Tech Guy on Gab.) Macarrón’s remarks about women working outside the home and the disappearance of the father’s role in families deserve more explanation. This sounds too much like “back-to-the-kitchen” male chauvinism, but motherhood is not incompatible with wage earning. Anyone who looks at demographic data knows that birth rates are actually higher in working-class families than among the affluent college-educated elite. So the idea that careers and motherhood are an “either/or” choice is a false dilemma. More important factors are the decline of marriage, the delay of childbearing, and the rise of the DINK (double income, no kids) lifestyle among upscale professionals. When divorce and unwed motherhood become commonplace, when young couples are discouraged from marrying, when materialism is promoted in popular culture, when young women are led to believe that postponing motherhood until they are past 30 is a good idea — well, these are core factors in the “demographic winter” Macarrón warns about.

Get me started on this topic, and I could go on for thousands of words, but the crucial question is, what kind of messages are young people getting from parents, from schools, from churches and from media?

While I don’t know what’s on TV in Spain, popular culture in the United States celebrates the illusion of eternal youth, the idea that everybody can be like the cast of Friends or The Big Bang Theory, eschewing the most important responsibilities of adult life, marriage and parenthood. We can laugh at the character of Sheldon Cooper, a brilliant scientist with the temperament of a petulant toddler, but such entertainment has the effect of idealizing a lifestyle of perpetual adolescence. Similar messages are reinforced by many other TV shows and movies, so that young people exposed to this incessant media bombardment develop beliefs and attitudes that are incompatible with becoming the kind of adults who make good husbands and wives, good fathers and mothers. Only if parents recognize that the cultural sewage spewing out of Hollywood is toxic, and do what they can to limit its impact on their children’s belief system, can there be hope to avert demographic winter. Parents must exercise a counter-cultural influence, or else their children will believe the deadly lies that Hollywood is selling. Public schools are doing nothing about this problem, because the schools are part of the problem. Our government education bureaucracy is now run by left-wing “progressives” who are anti-Christian, anti-capitalism, anti-marriage and anti-motherhood. Schools now teach young people that babies are bad, abortion is good and promiscuity is harmless. The public school curriculum systematically attacks Bible-based moral beliefs, and schools employ atheist teachers who ridicule Christianity in their classrooms.

There is a connection between belief and behavior, you see. Parents who allow their children’s beliefs to be scripted by Hollywood (and “educated” by government bureaucrats) should not be surprised when the results are catastrophic not only for their children as individuals, but for society as a whole. More than 15 years ago, Jim Sedlak of the American Life League looked at Europe’s demographic decline and warned:

“The ‘success’ of the population controllers in Europe is now taking its toll,” said Sedlak. “The average number of babies per woman has fallen from 1.95 to 1.65, and there is no end in sight.”
“In order to turn things around, four things are necessary,” Sedlak said. “First, the world has to understand that there is not an overpopulation problem, but a problem of too few children. Second, everyone in our society must accept large families and stop using peer pressure to convince people not to have more children. Third, governments and rich philanthropists must stop giving money to population control programs. Finally, young people getting married have to be thinking of having four or more children.”
“We have one generation to turn things around,” Sedlak said. “After that, it may be too late.”

That one idea — promoting “four or more children” as the ideal family size — struck me at the time as the only possible basis of hope. It just so happened that my wife and I already had four kids then, and we subsequently had two more. Our youngest is now 14, president of her eighth-grade class at a Christian school, in the 99th percentile on standardized tests. Just this morning I overheard her talking to a friend, explaining that when she has children, she wants to homeschool them.

You can’t beat something with nothing.

That is to say, pro-family Christians cannot hope to prevail against the toxic ideas of the Culture of Death — which celebrates abortion, divorce, promiscuity and homosexuality — if we are unwilling to be specific in describing what the pro-life alternative could look like.

When we behold the desperate situation of countries like Spain, which are far down the road toward demographic winter, we ought to understand how important it is that we act now to counteract this evil.

Airline Pilot Goes Full SJW, Ranting About Her Divorce and the Election

Posted on | February 13, 2017 | 2 Comments

Some people just can’t deal with stress:

A United Airlines pilot was removed from a San Francisco bound flight Saturday evening after using the plane’s intercom system to go on an erratic rant about her divorce and the recent presidential election.
The pilot, who showed up late to the plane set to depart from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, boarded the plane in normal street clothes instead of her United pilot uniform and told the passengers on the intercom from the front of the plane, “Sorry I’m late. The reason I’m late is I’m going through a divorce.”
She continued rambling, making passengers increasingly uncomfortable and pointing out an interracial couple sitting in first class, according to Buzzfeed. Passenger Randy Reiss said, “It quickly went from playful to scary.”
Witnesses said the pilot then commented on the 2016 presidential election, telling passengers, “Look, I don’t care if you voted for Trump or Clinton, they’re both a**holes.” She also said she was going to let her co-pilot fly the plane because he was a man, and offered passengers the opportunity to disembark the plane.
“So I’ll stop, and we’ll fly the plane. Don’t worry. I’m going to let my co-pilot fly it. He’s a man,” she laughed. “Okay, if you don’t feel safe, then get off the airplane. But otherwise we can go.”

She went full SJW. Never go full SJW.

NY Times Goes Full SJW

Posted on | February 13, 2017 | Comments Off on NY Times Goes Full SJW

Notice the adjectives and adverbs in this “news” article:

Staff members on Capitol Hill recall Stephen Miller, the 31-year-old White House adviser behind many of President Trump’s most contentious executive orders, as the guy from Jeff Sessions’s office who made their inboxes cry for mercy.
As a top aide to Mr. Sessions, the conservative Alabama senator, Mr. Miller dispatched dozens and dozens of bombastic emails to congressional staff members and reporters in early 2013 when the Senate was considering a big bipartisan immigration overhaul. Mr. Miller slammed the evils of “foreign labor” and pushed around nasty news articles on proponents of compromise, like Senator Marco Rubio of Florida.
One exhausted Senate staff member, forwarding a Miller-gram to a reporter at the time, wrote: “His latest. And it’s only 11:45 a.m.”
The ascent of Mr. Miller from far-right gadfly with little policy experience to the president’s senior policy adviser came as a shock to many of the staff members who knew him from his seven years in the Senate. A man whose emails were, until recently, considered spam by many of his Republican peers is now shaping the Trump administration’s core domestic policies with his economic nationalism and hard-line positions on immigration.
But his unlikely rise is emblematic of a White House where unconventional résumés rule — where the chief strategist is Stephen K. Bannon, until recently the head of the flame-throwing right-wing website Breitbart News, and the president himself is a former reality television star who before winning the nation’s highest office had never shown much interest in the arcana of governing.
Yet all three men are bound by a belief in an America-first economic policy that has suddenly moved from the fringes of American politics to the Oval Office.

You see that what is being discussed here — the “bipartisan” immigration bill of 2013 — is the corrupt “Gang of Eight” amnesty, in which Rubio betrayed the Tea Party conservatives who had helped him get elected to the Senate in 2010. Enforcing our immigration laws is, according to this New York Times editorial masquerading as a “news” article, a “far-right” fringe idea. Only “hard-line” “right-wing” people believe that immigrants should obey the laws of the United States. This piling-on of tendentious phrases does not inform the reader, but rather serves the propaganda function of demonizing Stephen Miller. Let the question be asked: When did the New York Times ever refer to any member of the Obama administration as “left-wing,” “far left” or “fringe”? The New York Times does not even acknowledge the existence of any “fringe” ideas or “extreme” people in the Democrat Party. Everything the Democrat Party does is “mainstream,” according to the New York Times, and everything Republicans do is wrong. The New York Times is partisan propaganda.

Is Breitbart News a “flame-throwing right-wing website”? OK, then ask yourself, when has the New York Times acknowledged in a news article the existence of any “flame-throwing left-wing website”? This they have never done, of course. Whatever the Left wants, the editors of the New York Times will endorse, and its reporters will publicize and promote.

They’ve gone full SJW. Never go full SJW.

‘She Told Me Her Teacher Was Molesting Her,’ Says Mother of Teenage Victim

Posted on | February 12, 2017 | Comments Off on ‘She Told Me Her Teacher Was Molesting Her,’ Says Mother of Teenage Victim

Camryn Zelinger molested a 14-year-old girl, police say.

Disturbing news from California:

The mother of a 14-year-old girl who was allegedly molested by a former teacher at a performing arts high school in California is speaking out.
“I’m a nosy mother, and I grabbed her phone, and I looked at texts from this teacher, sexting my baby over the phone, over the texts – just all this stuff,” the girl’s mother said.
The girl’s mother then reported the allegations to authorities.
32-year-old Camryn Zelinger was arrested Monday, February 6th at Encore High School for the Arts, where she worked, Riverside police said. She was booked into jail on suspicion of lewd or lascivious acts with a minor and annoying or molesting a child under 18 years old, according to a news release from the Riverside Police Department.
Zelinger has been fired from the high school.
The alleged “inappropriate physical contact and communications” took place over the “past few months,” according to a police news release.
Prior to learning of the alleged molestation, the student’s mother said she instinctively knew something was wrong, but that her daughter had been too scared to speak up.
“She wouldn’t tell me. She was too afraid. She kept saying, ‘Nothing, Mom. Nothing, Mom.’ But I knew something was wrong. When I finally found out something was going on, when she told me her teacher was molesting her — first period, eighth period, all throughout the day…” the woman said, crying. . . .
The family’s attorney told KTLA the girl’s relatives were “disturbed” by suggestions that the relationship was voluntary or consensual.
“This teacher used her position of power and trust to sort of manipulate this child into doing things that this child thought she had to do,” he said, noting the girl “is legally incapable of forming consent.”

Let’s make a few important points here:

  1. These are allegations, and Camryn Zelinger is to be presumed innocent unless and until she is convicted in a court of law;
    however
  2. Feminists never extend this presumption of innocence to any male college student accused of sexual misconduct;
  3. We do not know whether Camryn Zelinger is lesbian or bisexual, and this allegation that she molested a 14-year-old girl cannot be used to generalize about about gay teachers as potential predators;
    however
  4. Feminists routinely exploit stories about rape to make negative generalizations about heterosexual men as dangerous predators;
    and therefore
  5. No feminist will ever take notice of news reports about allegations of predatory sexual behavior by women, especially when teenage girls are molested by female teachers.

Feminism succeeds because so many journalists go along with this ideologically imposed double standard, where sex crimes committed by men are accepted as evidence of “rape culture,” but no one is permitted to make inferences from the crimes of female sex offenders.

“Well,” the feminist might say, “it’s not like there’s a pattern . . .”

Nina Scott molested a 16-year-old girl, police say.

Female Teacher Accused Of Having
Sexual Relationship With 16-Year-Old Girl

A Delaware County teacher is facing charges for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a female student.
Nina Scott, of Downingtown, worked at The Village — a court-ordered child-care facility in Radnor.
Police say the 28-year-old teacher admitted to having sexual contact with a 16-year-old girl at the school.
According to police, the victim said the relationship started when she passed a note to Scott that read, “How would you feel if I kissed you?” The victim told authorities Scott returned the note saying she would not tell anyone.
Police say the relationship lasted from February until October of last year.

But that’s only two cases. These are just random incidents, right?

Randi Zurenko molested two teenage girls, police say.

Female Catholic school teacher named Randi is

‘after sleeping with schoolgirls and
filming their lesbian trysts’

A female Catholic school teacher has been charged with more than 200 child sex offences after allegedly having sex with schoolgirls and filming their trysts.
Randi Zurenko from Millerstown, Pennsylvania, was arrested on Thursday.
Police believe the 33-year-old sexually abused two girls at Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg hundreds of times between 2013 and 2016.
She is facing 13 counts of institutional sexual assault, 153 of sexual abuse of children, 33 of unlawful contact with minors, 20 of dissemination of obscene material to a minor and 13 counts of corruption of minors.

Well, sure, three stories, but it’s not like there’s a trend . . .

Feb. 9, 2016

Far be it from me to say that a mere half-dozen headlines are indicative of a trend, because there’s a lot more than a half-dozen:

  • In December 2015, former Missouri teacher Johnna Feazell, 48, was sentenced to seven years in prison for sexually molesting a 16-year-old girl she had known since the student was in seventh grade. Feazell, who had coached sports at a Webster County junior high school, was also convicted of tampering with evidence.
  • Also in December 2015, police in Austin, Texas, arrested former Bowie High School teacher Tiffany Howard, 41, on charges that she sexually molested a girl during a three-year period that began when the victim was 13. Howard had coached the girl in seventh grade.
  • Gymnastics coach Patricia Hermann, 48, was charged in October 2015 with sexually abusing two girls, ages 10 and 13. Police say Hermann molested the two girls while their Special Olympics team from Illinois was staying in a hotel in Cobb County, Georgia, for a competition.
  • In June 2015, former high school teacher and swim coach Leah Eames, 33, was sentenced to 30 months probation in Illinois after she pleaded guilty to having sex with a 16-year-old girl she coached.
  • In May 2015, a Michigan judge sentenced Erin Katharine MacDonald to a year in jail after the former Grant High School science teacher pleaded guilty to having sex with a teenage student.
  • In April 2015, Texas officials arrested Heather Lynn Packwood, 25, on charges that she sexually molested a girl who was a student at New Braunfels Christian Academy.
  • Geraldine Alcorn, 28, was arrested in March 2015 in Pittsburgh after police say she became obsessed with an 11-year-old student at Beechwood Elementary School, where Alcorn was a pre-kindergarten teacher.
  • Meghan Colleen Daugherty, 36, was charged in February 2015 with criminal sexual conduct with a minor in South Carolina. The arrest warrant said the Hillcrest Middle School physical education teacher committed sexual battery on a 14-year-old girl.
  • Shakyla Wilson, 22, was charged with one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse after police in Naperville, Illinois, say she had sexual contact in February 2015 with a 14-year-old girl from Hill Middle School, where Wilson was volunteering as a girls basketball coach.
  • High school dance teacher Michelle Smith White, 37, of Durham, N.C., was charged in October 2014 with having sex with a 16-year-old female student. Police said White had the student’s name and initials tattooed on her body.
  • Dance teacher Sabrina Epps, 19, was arrested in October 2014 after police say she admitted having lesbian sex with a 14-year-old girl who was a student at the Tennessee studio where Epps taught.
  • Gaile Supp, 25, pleaded guilty in September 2014 to sexual battery, a third-degree felony. A former teacher at Clearfield High School in Utah, Supp had originally been charged with object rape, a first-degree felony, in April 2013 for allegedly committing a sexual act on an unwilling 17-year-old female student at her West Haven home.
  • California teacher Rebecca Eileen Diebolt, 35, was arrested in June 2014 after a woman told police that she and Diebolt had a four-year sexual relationship that began in 2004, when the victim was 15 and Diebolt was her language arts teacher and swim/water polo coach.
  • Dance teacher Nichol Marie Phelps, 30, was sentenced to prison in June 2014 after she pleaded guilty to having lesbian sex with a 15-year-old student at the Florida academy where Phelps taught.
  • Andrea Michelle Cardosa, 40, was charged with 16 felony counts in February 2014 after two former female students accused her of sexually molesting them. One accuser said Cardosa started having sex with her when she was only 12.
  • Tonya Drueppel was arrested in January 2014 on charges that she had sex with a middle-school girl beginning in October 2012, when the victim was 13.
  • Amanda Michelle Feenstra, 32, pleaded guilty in October 2013 to having sex with a 17-year-old girl who was a student at the Texas high school where Feenstra was a dance teacher.
  • Kelly O’Rourke, 42, was sentenced to 10 years in prison in October 2013 for having sex with a 16-year-old girl.
  • Linda Wallace was sentenced to prison in September 2013 after pleading guilty to having had a four-year sexual affair with a female student that began when the girl was 13.
  • Nicole Wooten was arrested in February 2013 on charges that she had sex with a girl in 2005 and 2006, when the victim was a 12-year-old eighth-grader.

That’s a pretty long list of completely random incidents, isn’t it? Should we do what feminists do, exploiting crime reports to foment fear? Or is it sufficient to occasionally notice that not all sex crimes are committed by men? Is your daughter safer with her high school basketball coach than she would be at a college fraternity party? And by the way, have you heard any feminists talk about the kidnapping, rape and murder of a 21-year-old Ohio State University student?

Why do you think feminists are ignoring this story? Is it because this story doesn’t advance the Democrat Party’s political agenda? Gosh, they seem so selective about which rape victims matter . . .

Rule 5 Sunday: Standing In The Shadow Of The Master

Those of you who aren’t interested in martial arts movies have probably not noticed the trilogy of Ip Man movies, based on the life of the Wing Chun master of the same name, who is perhaps most famous for having been Bruce Lee’s teacher. If so, you’ve not only missed out on some incredible fight scenes (for example, this scene from the first movie), but you’ve also missed out on the gorgeous Lynn Hung, who plays Ip Man’s wife Cheung Wing-Sing. One of the things that I especially like about these movies is that Miss Hung and Donnie Yen (who plays the title character) express a lot of emotion without necessarily saying much, as in this elevator fight scene from Ip Man 3. Thus, today’s appetizer.
