Herpes-Infected Feminist Ella Dawson Decides the 2016 Election Is About Her

Posted on | September 4, 2016 | 2 Comments

“I’m disgusting. Maybe they were all right about me. Maybe I am a big old whore.”
Ella Dawson

You remember Ella Dawson (@brosandprose on Twitter) as the girl who attended Wesleyan University (annual tuition $47,972) where she graduated in 2014 with a bachelor of arts in Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and a herpes infection. It seems nobody at her prestigious private university bothered to tell Ms. Dawson that condoms don’t prevent herpes, so she kept screwing around until . . .

“I was the editor of my campus sex magazine. I had some one-night stands. I explored my sexuality and what I wanted, and I met a guy at a party and he was amazing. He was super-charismatic and sexy and funny and brilliant and I fell really hard for him. We started seeing each other and then, three weeks later, I woke up with an outbreak of genital herpes.”
Ella Dawson, September 2015

“A few days shy of my 21st birthday, I woke up to find a cluster of painful red sores on my labia. . . . This didn’t make sense, as I’d never had unprotected sex in my life. Plus, I wasn’t the sort of person STDs happened to. I was a Planned Parenthood volunteer, a sexuality studies major, and everyone’s go-to friend when they had questions about losing their virginity. How could I have caught something when I had always been so careful?”
Ella Dawson, April 14, 2015

Ms. Dawson did what any Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies major would do: She made her name synonymous with herpes.

A Google search for “Ella Dawson herpes” produces more than 50,000 results. Why would parents pay nearly $50,000 a year for their daughter to attend college when the result of her “education” is that she becomes notorious for having an incurable sexually transmitted virus?

Well, never mind why liberals throw away their money to “educate” their daughters. Let’s talk about the 2016 election, where if Hillary Clinton becomes president, liberals get to throw away our money, too.

Ella Dawson has written a genuinely weird article about the “Alt Right,” in which she deduces that because (a) certain people hate Hillary Clinton and (b) some of these people also made fun of her pro-herpes activism, therefore (c) a vote for Hillary Clinton is a vote for herpes.

Or something. It doesn’t make much sense, really, but here — we’ll let the Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies major explain herself:

I expected a backlash when I began writing a blog about what it’s like to live with genital herpes. Speaking from personal experience about a taboo topic like sexually transmitted infections was never going to be easy, and I prepared myself to face judgment from strangers online. Social mores about sex may be changing, but women who frankly discuss their sexuality?–?and their feminism?–?meet pushback from an online culture of outrage and shame. What I could not have anticipated in my wildest nightmare was becoming a favorite target of the Alt-Right.
It is difficult to explain the loose web of sexist trolls and “conservative provocateurs” that compose the Alt-Right to someone who isn’t immersed in Internet culture. There are the anti-establishment radicals who hate Paul Ryan, the anti-Islam YouTube vloggers who pushed hard for Brexit, and the Twitter users who create memes like #TheTriggering to mock social justice activists. The Alt-Right also overlaps with groups like Men’s Rights Activists, who are convinced matriarchy is oppressing them on a global scale, and the bizarre online hate mob that is GamerGate. Conversations about these men?–?because they are almost always men, and they are almost always white?—?are usually dismissive. We call them “trolls,” implying they’re the dimwitted underworld denizens of the Internet. As long as they stay in unread comment sections, what risk do they pose to the rest of us? . . .

You can read the whole thing and try to make sense of her “argument,” but unless you have a degree in Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, you’ll probably just laugh at the ridiculousness of it all. Her main point, as far as I can tell, could be summarized succinctly:

VOTE FOR HILLARY
So Your Daughter Can Get Herpes, Too!

I’m always happy to help feminists spread their message . . .

Irony Much? Tranny @SmartAssJen Says Movies Lack ‘Extraordinary’ Women

Posted on | September 3, 2016 | Comments Off on Irony Much? Tranny @SmartAssJen Says Movies Lack ‘Extraordinary’ Women

You have to wonder what psychological defect would inspire transgender activist Jen Richards to send out a tweet suggesting that “extraordinary” men are rare, while “extraordinary” women are everywhere. Given that Richards is not actually female, how does this appear — that is, to people who aren’t as reflexively anti-male as Richards, like the nearly 3,000 feminists who retweeted that particular message of hatred?

Whatever the motive for the original message, the fact that it got so many retweets (and nearly 5,000 “likes”) demonstrates the extent to which feminism is simply an expression of contempt for men. Every feminist, of course, consider herself to be “extraordinary,” and despises all men as her intellectual and moral inferiors. This is why feminism is not (and never has been) a movement about equality, because the leaders of the movement are so full of self-righteous arrogance that their agenda is an endless litany of totalitarian demands. Feminists wish to dictate the terms of an “equality” in which men have no rights whatsoever, except perhaps the right to remain silent. Feminism is always a lecture and never a debate, because the feminist considers males to be so vastly inferior to herself that she never wants to hear anything a man has to say.

The assertion that “extraordinary” women are absent from movies is simply false, a propaganda claim that is nevertheless promoted by feminists as part of their campaign to extort money from Hollywood. Women in the industry — actresses, writers, directors, etc. — want a bigger piece of the pie, and specious complaints about “sexism” in Hollywood are just a politically correct way of saying, “More for me!”

Capitulating to such mau-mau tactics is what leads to box-office blunders like the feminist Ghostbusters remake, which is projected to lose $70 million for Sony. Although studio executives keep giving anonymous quotes insisting the total loss will be less than projected, the film’s financial failure is indisputable. Despite all the media hype generated by Sony’s massive publicity blitz, Ghostbusters dropped out of the box-office top 10 within a month of its release, and in the past three weeks, generated only $4.7 million, a pathetic average of less than $2,000 per theater, and by last week, Ghostbusters was showing in fewer than 500 theaters nationwide. Nor will foreign sales suffice to make this feminist flop break even. Ghostbusters has grossed less than $15 million in Great Britain, less than $10 million in Australia and $9 million in Japan.

Unlike feminists — who can’t stand to see men succeed in anything — most people actually like watching movies with male heroes. The action thriller Jason Bourne opened #1 at the box office and is still in the top 10 after five weeks. The production budget for this Matt Damon film ($120 million) was actually less than the $144 million budget for the feminist Ghostbusters remake. In further contrast, Jason Bourne has actually made more in overseas markets (nearly $200 million in five weeks) than in the United States. Yes, believe it or not, there is a worldwide demand for movies with heterosexual white male American heroes.

Only in America — where academia and the news media are controlled by progressives who promote a left-wing ideological stew of white guilt, feminism, LGBT activism and other politically correct nonsense — does anyone believe that there’s something wrong with audiences cheering for Matt Damon as he battles shadowy forces of evil.

Speaking of shadowy forces of evil, what does it say about feminism that the movement accepts in its ranks men who pretend to be women, so long as these faux-females gleefully denounce men who are actually men? Doesn’t this expose the hideous intensity of feminism’s anti-male hatred? See if you notice a pattern in these messages.

Go ahead, feminists, and promote the hateful man-bashing messages of Jen Richards. Obviously, “she” is as much a woman as you are.

The ‘Campus Rape Epidemic’ Witch-Hunt

Posted on | September 2, 2016 | 2 Comments

Ashe Schow reports at the Washington Examiner:

The number of lawsuits filed by students accused of campus sexual assault increased dramatically after the Education Department issued new guidance on how schools should tackle the issue.
Further, the percentage of lawsuits filed by either party involved in an accusation shifted heavily toward the accused, according to a report fom Stop Abusive and Violent Environments, an organization trying to reform the way schools handle accusations.
The Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights issued a “Dear Colleague” letter in 2011 that severely limited an accused student’s ability to defend himself while threatening to remove funding from schools that did not toughen up on campus sexual assault. In the wake of the letter, accused students have been expelled at what appears to be an alarming rate — for he said/she said situations that look less like sexual assault and more like regretted hookups — all in an effort for schools to show they are tough on the issue to avoid a loss of funding or a federal investigation.
The SAVE report found that accusations increased drastically after OCR issued its guidance. United Educators, which ensures about 1,000 colleges and universities across the country, received 262 claims of campus sexual assault between 2006 and 2010 [i.e., an average of 52 a year] — prior to the OCR guidance. Those claims increased to 78 in 2011 and 73 in 2012. And in 2013, the claims doubled to a whopping 154.
At the same time, lawsuits from students accused who had been wrongly expelled or punished also increased. Just after the OCR guidance was issued, in 2012, just one student filed a lawsuit (that we know of). In 2013 that number increased to 10 and continues to rise. In 2014, 34 accused students filed lawsuits, in 2015, the number peaked at 53. So far in 2016, 24 students have filed lawsuits.

(Hat-tip: Instapundit.)

Ashe Schow’s phrase, “he said/she said situations that look less like sexual assault and more like regretted hookups,” is an apt description of the typical case outlined in the more than 100 lawsuits filed by male college and university students who say they were falsely accused. Most of these cases involve alcohol. According to a 1996 study, “90% of all acquaintance rapes involve alcohol.” A 2009 report based on a survey of more than 5,000 students stated: “Most sexual assaults occurred after women voluntarily consumed alcohol” — about 80%. Feminists have had tremendous success in convincing college girls that (a) it’s OK to get drunk and have sex, however (b) if they later have any regrets about getting drunk and having sex, this means they were victims of rape.

This was made clear at Washington and Lee University, where a lawsuit alleged that a school official whose job involved investigating sexual assault “recently had given a talk on campus about ‘regret equals rape,’ or the argument that what first passes for a consensual sexual experience later can be called a rape by a woman who has second thoughts.” The university settled that case out of court, and thus avoided a trial that would have exposed the witch-hunt climate of sexual paranoia that feminists have created on campuses all across the country.

Discussing a case at Brown University, I explained this problem:

Feminists who claim there is a “campus rape epidemic” have been dismissive of concerns about false accusations and due process. Feminists contend that false accusations of rape are so rare that this possibility can be ignored, and the question of why women sometimes do lie about rape is treated dismissively. After a high-profile claim of gang-rape at the University of Virginia was exposed as a hoax, Janet Bloomfield examined the motives behind such false accusations: “12 Women Who Lied About Being Raped And Why They Did It.” Despite these concerns, however, states have passed laws and universities have implemented policies based on so-called “affirmative consent” doctrine which effectively makes it impossible for an accused student to prove his innocence. The mere accusation of sexual misconduct is now regarded as tantamount to proof of guilt . . .

Drunk people often do things they later regret, and there is a lot of drinking and sex on college campuses. The “rape culture” hysteria is about making male students 100% responsible for sexual activity, which means female students have 0% responsibility for their own behavior. “Empowerment” thus becomes a feminist synonym for irresponsibility.

Cop Impregnated 14-Year-Old Girl, Then Urged Her to Have an Abortion

Posted on | September 2, 2016 | 2 Comments

News from North Carolina:

A Lowell police officer has been arrested after being accused of impregnating a 14-year-old girl, officials told Channel 9.
Channel 9 reporter Ken Lemon broke the story Wednesday on Twitter and spoke to the girl’s mother. The State Bureau of Investigation is investigating the case.
James Blair was taken into custody Thursday afternoon after being arrested at the teen’s house. SBI agents were there talking to the family when Blair showed up, officials said.
Blair is charged with one count of statutory rape and more charges will follow, officials said. His bond was set at $1 million.
“My heart was broken,” the girl’s mother told Channel 9.
She said Blair volunteered to mentor her children. She said she was reluctant at first, but then agreed to it because he was a police officer.
Blair and the woman’s daughter had been texting on her phone, the mother said.
She said she then discovered text messages indicating that he took advantage of her daughter. . . .
Then the mother discovered text messages that indicated her daughter was pregnant and that Blair was the father.
One of messages, which is in the hands of the SBI, states, “If you keep that baby I’m done and you know it.”
Another said, “Do whatever you wanna do, just remember I love you and name it after me.” . . .
She said Blair had inappropriate contact with her daughter at his home and in his patrol car, and told Channel 9 that he confessed to her.
“He told me he took her virginity. He told me it was his baby. He told me things happened and he said he was so sorry. And he kept saying, ‘Please forgive him,’” she said.
She said then Blair asked her to do something that she considered unimaginable.
“‘Get rid of the baby or I’ve lost my life. I’ve lost my life.’ How do I kill a baby? I don’t kill no baby. I don’t believe in abortion,” the mother said.

“If you keep that baby I’m done and you know it.”

Yep. You’re done. Gonna be real popular in prison, I’ll bet.
