Five — Count ’Em, FIVE — Flaming Skulls for FBI Whistleblower Report on Biden

Ace of Spades believes this is a report of extreme urgency, and therefore awarded the story one flaming skull alert for each of the five million dollars allegedly paid to then-Vice President Joe Biden by a member of the Burisma board. And by “member of the Burisma board,” of course I mean, corrupt Ukrainian oligarch. As I reported last week, this involved the congressional subpoena of an FD-1023 form recounting the FBI’s interview with a “confidential human source.” FBI Director Christopher Wray refused to comply with the subpoena by claiming that information in the form would compromise the source. Given the events of Thursday, however, we may conclude that Wray was stalling for time so that Special Counsel Jack Smith could indict Trump, thereby “burying” news of the revelations about Biden’s corrupt dealings in Ukraine.

Am I a conspiracy theorist for suggesting this? It doesn’t matter. The loss of credibility of the Deep State regime — which is their fault, not mine — predictably gives rise to paranoia, as the citizens witness the blatant double standards: Antifa rioters walk free without prosecution, while hundreds of pro-Trump protesters are sentenced to federal prison. Similarly, the Biden family’s corruption is covered up by the FBI and the DOJ, while a Special Counsel is appointed to prosecute Trump for a case which basically originated with some minor bureaucrat at the National Archives complaining about White House documents and thus triggering a massive FBI raid on Mar a Lago. Just like the election results in 2020 (which you’re a TRAITOR for doubting), all of this reeks to high heaven, yet we are powerless to do anything about it. If people don’t trust their government, don’t blame the people, blame the government.

Biden Family Got $10 Million From Foreigners Through ‘Web’ of LLCs

James Comer drops the bomb on Biden Inc.:

The Biden family and its business associates created a complicated web of more than 20 companies, according to bank records obtained by the House Oversight Committee — a system GOP lawmakers say was meant to conceal money received from foreign nationals.
Sixteen of the companies were limited liability companies formed during Joe Biden’s tenure as vice president, the committee said in a press conference on Wednesday. The Biden family, their business associates, and their companies received more than $10 million from foreign nationals’ and their related companies, the records show. These payments occurred both while Biden was in office as vice president and after his time in office ended.
In what Representative Nancy Mace called an act of “financial gymnastics,” many payments were routed from foreign companies to the Biden family’s business associates’ companies which then doled out payments to the Bidens in incremental payments to different bank accounts in an alleged attempt to hide the source of the funds.
At least nine Biden family members received payments, according to committee chairman James Comer. That includes Hunter Biden; James Biden; James Biden’s wife, Sara Jones Biden; the late Beau Biden’s wife, Hallie Biden; Hunter Biden’s ex-wife, Kathleen Buhle; Hunter Biden’s wife, Melissa Cohen; and “three children of the president’s son and the president’s brother.”
Much of the money came from Chinese nationals and companies with ties to the Chinese Communist Party. Multiple Biden family members received money after it passed through an associate’s account. Comer said of the countries the Biden family was influence peddling in, China is “the most reputable.”
The committee revealed Wednesday that records suggest the Biden family and its associates’ business dealings in Romania “bear clear indication of a scheme to peddle influence” from 2015 to 2017.
At the time, then-Vice President Biden spoke out against Romanian corruption while the Biden family received more than a million dollars from a company controlled by a Romanian national, Gabriel Popoviciu. Popoviciu, who has been accused of corruption, sent the money through a Biden family associate, according to the committee. Sixteen of the seventeen payments involved in the deal occurred while Biden was still in office. The money “stops flowing from the Romanian national soon after Joe Biden leaves the vice presidency,” Comer said.
The Bidens also received “millions of dollars from China,” with Comer saying it is “inconceivable that the president did not know” about the payments.

Read the whole thing. Of course, there’s nothing about this on CNN, which is too busy going on about George Santos to bother noticing this $10 million Biden scandal. Meanwhile, at NBC News:

House Republicans escalate
attacks on Biden family,
alleging business with foreign nationals

See, that’s the story: Republicans are engaged in “attacks,” and all this clearly documented evidence of shady foreign payoffs to the Bidens? That is merely what Republicans are “alleging.”

The Answer Is ‘Yes’

Chris Rock’s question was rhetorical:

In light of the recent news that Donald Trump might face indictment for an alleged campaign finance violation, several experts have come forward to criticize the case against him. Some have argued that the charges are weak, while others have pointed out the hypocrisy of Trump’s potential arrest, given that Hillary Clinton faced a similar accusation but only paid a fine. . . .
Chris Rock made his statement at the Mark Twain Prize ceremony at the Kennedy Center, which was honoring Adam Sandler. In an apparent dig at the politicians in attendance at the ceremony, he asked the crowd if they were “stupid” for contemplating such a move.
He exclaimed, “Are you guys really going to arrest Trump? Do you know this is only going to make him more popular? It’s like arresting Tupac. He’s just gonna sell more records. Are you stupid?” The comedian’s remarks were met with roaring laughter from the crowd that included the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Biden administration officials.

Here’s the thing: If Democrats could “elect” Joe Biden as president — because 81 million votes, am I right? — and install the brain-damaged John Fetterman in the Senate, they don’t fear any political consequences, no matter how extreme their behavior. Success in rigging elections, combined with the news media’s willingness to act as Democratic operatives as bylines, means that Democrats never expect to face consequences, for anything, ever. We shall see if trying to prosecute Trump on the basis of a case that helped send Michael Avenatti to prison will prove to be an exception to this rule. Stay tuned . . .

What Did China Get for Its Money?

The family of “the big guy” collected over a million dollars:

President Biden’s daughter-in-law Hallie is the mysterious “new” Biden family member who got paid Chinese cash in 2017, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer revealed exclusively to The Post Thursday.
Comer said the payments to first son Hunter Biden’s sister-in-law-turned-former lover were revealed in subpoenaed bank records.
The records show Hallie Biden received $35,000 over two transfers in 2017 from Biden family associate Rob Walker, who got $3 million on March 1, 2017, from State Energy HK Limited, a firm affiliated with CEFC China Energy.
President Biden, who allegedly was the “big guy” mentioned in communications about the same Chinese venture, dined at Hallie Biden’s residence last Friday during his regular weekend trip home to Delaware. It’s unclear if they discussed the looming bombshell, which Comer (R-Ky.) publicly teased Monday night on Fox News’ “Hannity.”
One transfer to Hallie from Robinson Walker LLC was for $25,000 on March 20, 2017, Comer’s staff wrote in a Thursday morning memo to committee members. Another $10,000 was transferred on Feb. 13 — raising “many questions” according to a committee aide because it came shortly before, rather than after, the $3 million haul.
The information creates an unexpected new avenue for investigation — and the memo notes the bank records don’t include the first names of all Biden family recipients, meaning there may be others involved, in addition to Hunter Biden and first brother James Biden.
Hallie Biden is the widow of Beau Biden, who died of brain cancer in 2015, and the mother of two of the president’s grandchildren, Natalie and Robert Hunter. She dated the president’s other son, Hunter, from around 2016 to 2019, a timeframe that included the Chinese dealings.
“Democrats described our subpoena as providing nothing more than records for Papa John’s and Starbucks, but they failed to mention the records we’ve received documenting the Biden family’s business schemes,” Comer told The Post, referring to committee ranking member Rep. Jamie Raskin’s disclosure of the subpoenas this week.

What did the Chinese expect in return for this money? That’s the big puzzle. The payment to the Biden family came at a time when Democrats had lost the White House, and one wonders how the Chinese clients expected the family of the former vice president to exercise influence in their favor. Certainly the only “business” involved was influence peddling — what relevant expertise did Hunter Biden offer, other than being Joe Biden’s son? Democrats (and their media allies) seem to believe that the use of cutouts and middlemen to launder these payments from the Chinese is sufficient defense against accusations that Joe Biden himself is guilty of corruption. No sensible person buys this excuse, but still what intrigues me is the question of how the Chinese purchasers of Biden’s influence expected to be repaid for their “investment.”

If we are free to engage in speculation, I wouldn’t rule out the possibility that Joe getting his family members paid by the Chinese after he left the vice-presidency was in fact the fulfillment of some secret agreement made while he was still vice president. That is to say, Biden did the Chinese favors during the Obama administration, with the agreement that he’d get paid after he left office. This is just wild speculation, of course, but there must be some explanation for this deal, which on the surface doesn’t make much sense from an influence-buying point of view. Maybe the explanation is simply that the Chinese clients didn’t understand U.S. politics well enough to realize that “former vice president” isn’t a very influential position in America.

SMOKING GUN: Did Hunter Biden Use Classified Documents for Foreign $$$$?

Glenn Reynolds calls this a “Culture of Corruption” surrounding the Biden family, but it may be even more serious than that: Hunter Biden may have compromised U.S. national security in his pursuit of “business” with shady foreign clients. Daniel Chaitin at Daily Wire:

A lengthy email found in Hunter Biden‘s abandoned laptop is raising questions about whether the first son had improper access to classified information.
The new line of inquiry comes as President Joe Biden faces a special counsel investigation into his handling of documents after classified materials were found at a former office of his in Washington, D.C., and his home in Wilmington, Delaware, dating back to his time as a U.S. senator and vice president. And as noted in an analysis by the Washington Examiner, Hunter Biden likely had access to the garage in which records with classified contents have been discovered.
Stoking concerns about the potential misuse of classified information, the New York Post’s Miranda Devine wrote a column this week about an email dated April 12, 2014, sent to Hunter Biden’s then-business partner with 22 detailed points with “research” about the situation in Ukraine. The business partner, Devon Archer, was sentenced in 2022 to more than a year in prison after being convicted in a fraud scheme in which Hunter Biden was not implicated.
There are a number of reasons why this particular email drew attention. One is how it is written and the attention to detail. The email discusses such matters as Russia’s “destabilization campaign,” United States sanctions, and United Kingdom energy policy. A source told CNN the classified documents found at Biden’s private academic office, among other unclassified papers, contained U.S. intelligence memos and briefing materials on Iran, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.
Another factor is the timing. One week after the email was sent, Joe Biden, who was vice president at the time, met with Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk. Also around that time, Hunter Biden and Archer were hired to sit on the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings, which is repeatedly named in the email.

You can read the whole thing. How did Hunter Biden (who had no previous experience in Ukraine or Eurasian geopolitics) get all this information? Isn’t it strange how U.S. intelligence officials were so eager to dismiss Hunter Biden’s laptop as “Russian disinformation,” given how the contents of that laptop are exposing the entire Biden family as bought-and-paid-for by foreign cash? It’s almost as if these “intelligence officials” aren’t actually motivated by a concern for national security. Almost as if they, too, have been bought and paid for with foreign cash. But I guess I’m just a crazy right-wing conspiracy theorist . . .

The $250,000,000 Scandal That’s Wrecking Minnesota Democrats

There haven’t been many public polls in the Minnesota governor’s race, but Republican challenger Scott Jensen is within striking distance of Democrat incumbent Gov. Tim Walz, who is now dealing with fallout from what federal prosecutors call “the largest pandemic relief fraud scheme charged to date”:

The Department of Justice announced today federal criminal charges against 47 defendants for their alleged roles in a $250 million fraud scheme that exploited a federally-funded child nutrition program during the COVID-19 pandemic. . . .
“This was a brazen scheme of staggering proportions,” said U.S. Attorney Andrew M. Luger for the District of Minnesota. “These defendants exploited a program designed to provide nutritious food to needy children during the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, they prioritized their own greed, stealing more than a quarter of a billion dollars in federal funds to purchase luxury cars, houses, jewelry, and coastal resort property abroad. I commend the work of the skilled investigators and prosecutors who unraveled the lies, deception, and mountains of false documentation to bring this complex case to light.”
The 47 defendants are charged across six separate indictments and three criminal informations with charges of conspiracy, wire fraud, money laundering, and bribery.
As outlined in the charging documents, the defendants devised and carried out a massive scheme to defraud the Federal Child Nutrition Program. The defendants obtained, misappropriated, and laundered millions of dollars in program funds that were intended as reimbursements for the cost of serving meals to children. The defendants exploited changes in the program intended to ensure underserved children received adequate nutrition during the COVID-19 pandemic. Rather than feed children, the defendants enriched themselves by fraudulently misappropriating millions of dollars in Federal Child Nutrition Program funds.

The question is now being asked: What did Tim Walz know, and when did he know it? And his answers so far seem kind of shaky.

No one has claimed that Walz personally benefited from this fraudulent scheme, but rather that his administration failed to properly supervise the expenditure of federal funds through this “child nutrition” program run by the non-profit Feeding Our Future:

Aimee Bock’s organization was keeping a low profile as it handled millions in government money when the video appeared on Facebook in January.
It purportedly showed one of Bock’s employees receiving an astonishing wedding present: an ornamental cart, laden with so much gold that guests gathered around to see it up close.
Abdihakim Nur, a Somali activist and blogger who shot the video, said he heard the gold came from food vendors who were getting rich off the money they collected through Bock’s nonprofit, Feeding Our Future.
Nur was appalled, and his video created a stir in the Somali community.
“We cannot close our eyes to such corruption which will put our entire community’s name in the news as fraudsters and criminals when we only have a few bad apples,” Nur posted.
Five days later, the FBI raided Bock’s home and a sprawling government investigation went public.

Well done, Mr. Nur! Because, if you read the indictment, here are the names of the 47 people charged in this criminal scheme:

  • Aimee Marie Bock
  • Abdikerm Abdelahi Eidleh
  • Salim Ahmed Said
  • Abdulkadir Nur Salah
  • Ahmed Sharif Omar-Hashim
  • Abdi Nur Salah
  • Abdihakim Ali Ahmed
  • Ahmed Mohamed Artan
  • Abdikadir Ainanshe Mohamud
  • Abdinasir Mahamed Abshir
  • Asad Mohamed Abshir
  • Hamdi Hussein Omar
  • Ahmed Abdullahi Ghedi
  • Abdirahman Mohamud Ahmed
  • Abdiaziz Shafii Farah
  • Mohamed Jama Ismail
  • Mahad Ibrahim
  • Abdimajid Mohamed Nur
  • Said Shafii Farah
  • Abdiwahab Maalim Aftin
  • Mukhtar Mohamed Shariff
  • Hayat Mohamed Nur
  • Qamar Ahmed Hassan
  • Sahra Mohamed Nur
  • Abdiwahab Ahmed Mohamud
  • Filsan Mumin Hassan
  • Guhaad Hashi Said
  • Abdullahe Nur Jesow
  • Abdul Abubakar Ali
  • Yusuf Bashir Ali
  • Haji Osman Salad
  • Fahad Nur
  • Anab Artan Awad
  • Sharmarke Issa
  • Farhiya Mohamud
  • Liban Yasin Alishire
  • Ahmed Yasin Ali
  • Khadar Jigre Adan
  • Sharmake Jama
  • Ayan Jama
  • Asha Jama
  • Fartun Jama
  • Mustafa Jama
  • Zamzam Jama
  • Bekam Addissu Merdassa
  • Hadith Yusuf Ahmed
  • Hanna Marekegn

Probably not a lot of Trump voters on that list, if you get my drift.

In defending themselves against accusations of administrative negligence, Walz and the state department of education say they tried to cut off payment to Feeding Our Future, but that the non-profit responded with a lawsuit falsely claiming racial discrimination.

Wait a minute — Democrats admitting that false cries of “racism” are used to exploit the system? Wow, it’s a new day in America.

But look at that list of names again. Regardless of the details of how Walz’s administration handled this, do you think the average voter in rural Minnesota can’t add 2+2 and find that the sum is 4?

“Let’s give millions of dollars in taxpayer money to Somalis” — that’s what this “child nutrition” program was really about, and which party do you think this political payola was meant to benefit? The problem was that the corruption was just too blatant, what with the “luxury cars, houses, jewelry, and coastal resort property,” to say nothing of the “ornamental cart laden with gold,” and at some point somebody at Minnesota’s department of education got worried about it. Eventually, they tipped the feds to their concerns and tried to halt the payments to Aimee Bock’s organization, but when this was answered by a racial discrimination lawsuit, they restarted the payments, and the “child nutrition” bonanza continued right up until the feds raided Bock.

The gubernatorial race in Minnesota is very close, and this scandal works entirely to the advantage of Republicans. Furthermore, there’s a toss-up House race in Minnesota’s 2nd District, where GOP challenger Tyler Kistner — who barely lost in 2020 — is trying again to oust Democrat Rep. Angie Craig. Now we learn that Somalis have been looting the taxpayers to the tune of $250 million, and you’ve got to think that scandal doesn’t help the Democrat incumbent in this House campaign.

As the Nation Stumbles Toward Catastrophe, FBI Raids ‘My Pillow’ Dude

We are facing a railroad strike that could cost the U.S. economy $2 billion a day, but don’t worry about that — Merrick Garland’s DOJ is on the job, going after America’s most dangerous enemies:

MyPillow chief executive Mike Lindell said Tuesday that federal agents seized his cellphone and questioned him about a Colorado clerk who has been charged in what prosecutors say was a “deceptive scheme” to breach voting system technology used across the country.
Lindell was approached in the drive-thru of a Hardee’s fast-food restaurant in Mankato, Minnesota, by several FBI agents, he said on his podcast, “The Lindell Report.” The agents questioned him about Dominion Voting Systems, Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters and his connection to Doug Frank, an Ohio educator who claims voting machines have been manipulated, he said.
The agents then told Lindell they had a warrant to seize his cellphone and ordered him to turn it over, he said. On a video version of his podcast, Lindell displayed a letter signed by an assistant U.S. attorney in Colorado that said prosecutors were conducting an “official criminal investigation of a suspected felony” and noted the use of a federal grand jury.
The circumstances of the investigation were unclear. The Justice Department did not immediately respond Tuesday night to a request for comment about the seizure or investigation.
“Without commenting on this specific matter, I can confirm that the FBI was at that location executing a search warrant authorized by a federal judge,” FBI spokeswoman Vikki Migoya said in an email.

It’s about priorities, you see. Kids are getting shot every day in the streets of Philadelphia, St. Louis and Chicago, but it’s the My Pillow Guy the feds are worried about. And on the same day FBI agents were seizing Mike Lindell’s cellphone, we learned the FBI actually put Russian operative Igor Danchenko — one of the key sources for Michael Steele’s bogus anti-Trump “dossier” — on their payroll as a hired informant. Because what could go wrong with having Russian spies work for the FBI, right?

‘Deep State’ Cracking Up? Top FBI Agent Resigns Amid Political Bias Charges

“Don’t f**k with Charles Grassley” is always good advice:

A top FBI agent at the Washington field office reportedly resigned from his post last week after facing intense scrutiny over allegations he helped shield Hunter Biden from criminal investigations into his laptop and business dealings.
Timothy Thibault, an FBI assistant special agent in charge, was allegedly forced out after he was accused of political bias in his handling of probes involving President Biden’s son, sources told the Washington Times on Monday.
The agent was escorted out of the field office by at least two “headquarters-looking types” last Friday, the sources said.
Thibault and the FBI didn’t immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment on Monday.
Thibault, a 25-year-veteran, had already been on leave for a month after the top Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), started raising concerns about whistleblower claims that the FBI had obstructed its own investigations into the first son.
In a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray in July, Grassley said Thibault and FBI supervisory intelligence analyst Brian Auten were allegedly involved in “a scheme” to “undermine derogatory information connected to Hunter Biden by falsely suggesting it was disinformation.”
Thibault also allegedly tried to kill off a valid avenue of investigation of possible Hunter Biden criminality until at least one month before the November 2020 election, according to Grassley.
“Thibault allegedly ordered the matter closed without providing a valid reason as required by FBI guidelines … [and] subsequently attempted to improperly mark the matter in FBI systems so that it could not be opened in the future,” Grassley wrote.
Meanwhile, Republican senators have also publicly scrutinized Thibault’s alleged anti-Trump social media activity ahead of the 2020 election, including a retweet of a Lincoln Project message that called Donald Trump a “psychologically broken, embittered and deeply unhappy man.”
He also allegedly tweeted that he wanted to “give Kentucky to the Russian Federation.”
Wray admitted under grilling from GOP senators earlier this month that allegations of political bias at the hands of FBI agents, including Thibault, were “deeply troubling.”

Exactly when did it become “deeply troubling,” Mr. Wray? Was it shortly after Republican senators started asking questions about it in public hearings? Because my hunch is, you were OK with it, as long as you were getting away with it, but after Grassley found out about it, then it became “deeply troubling.” And let’s not forget this story from Paul Sperry: “FBI Unit Leading Mar-a-Lago Probe Earlier Ran Discredited Trump-Russia Investigation.” Thibault worked hand-in-hand with the same operatives involved in all this anti-Trump activity at the FBI, and the fact that Wray is throwing him under the bus now suggests maybe they don’t trust him to keep their dirty secrets hush-hush. So I’m going to get ahead of the news cycle here and declare: Timothy Thibault did not commit suicide.
