Kenosha Riots Turn Deadly

For the third consecutive night, Democratic voters ran wild in Kenosha, Wisconsin, engaging in vandalism, arson and assault. Two people were shot to death and a third seriously wounded in the mayhem, organized by #BlackLivesMatter as part of the Joe Biden presidential campaign.

Two people were killed and another was wounded as shots were fired late Tuesday in Kenosha during the third night of unrest in Wisconsin following the police shooting of black man Jacob Blake.
The shootings were reported at about 11.45pm after police drove away protesters from in front of a courthouse that has been the site of the main clashes between protesters and authorities.
Footage showed gunshots ringing out amid a scuffle in the street while bystanders screamed and fled in terror, with one person shot in the arm and another one hit in the chest.
Panic broke out as another man lay in agony ‘losing a lot of blood’ after he was shot in the head, with onlookers desperately trying to stem the wound and yelling that ‘we’ve got to keep him alive’.
Another man was helped to his feet by cops after bleeding heavily from a wound to his arm as law enforcement vehicles approached.
One of the victims was shot outside an auto garage, where the gunman was apparently caught on video saying ‘I’ve just killed somebody’ before he was pursued down the street carrying his rifle.
As the crowd gave chase, one pursuer took a flying kick at the gunman and another tried to grab his weapon before he started firing to disperse the crowd, hitting another two people. . . .

This is not “peaceful protest.” It has nothing to do with Jacob Blake.

This is the Democratic Party platform. This is Joe Biden’s agenda: Defund the police, destroy private property, turn loose violent mobs of criminal anarchists and racial gangs to terrorize citizens — it’s a live demonstration of the “progressive” ideology in action, and if you want this destructive chaos as the future of America, vote for Joe Biden.

UPDATE: Jack Murphy slowed down video of Tuesday night’s shooting incident. A guy with a rifle was being pursued by the mob. He fell down, and was attacked by a man wielding a skaeboard as a weapon (which is standard Antifa tactics). He shot the guy with the skateboard, and then was approached by a guy with a pistol, and shot him.

This is case-closed self-defense. Democrats allow mob violence to rule the streets. Americans have the right to defend themselves.

‘Mostly Peaceful Protests’ After Cops Shoot Black Man in Kenosha, Wisconsin

Let me assume that everybody with an Internet connection has already seen the video clip of police in Kenosha, Wisconsin, firing seven shots while attempting to detain a man identified as Jacob Blake:

Kenosha police shot a man Sunday evening, setting off unrest in the city after a video appeared to show the officer firing several shots at close range into the man’s back.
The shooting [victim] has been identified as Jacob Blake, a Black man, by Wisconsin officials.
Police had been called to a domestic incident in the 2800 block of 40th Street at 5:11 p.m. where the shooting later occurred.
Officers provided immediate aid to the shooting victim, who was taken by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Kenosha police reported.
The man was in serious condition at Froedtert.
“Tonight, Jacob Blake was shot in the back multiple times, in broad daylight,” Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers said in a statement. “While we do not have all of the details yet, what we know for certain is that he is not the first Black man or person to have been shot or injured or mercilessly killed at the hands of individuals in law enforcement in our state or our country.”
The Kenosha News reported that neighbors said Blake was trying to break up a fight between two women. Bystanders said he was Tased and then shot several times.
A video circulating on social media shows a man in a white shirt and black shorts walking to a gray van, followed by two male police officers with weapons drawn. The video does not show what happened before the man walked away from the officers, nor what was said, if anything.
As the man opens the door to get in, an officer grabs his shirt to hold him still, then appears to shoot him in the back at close range. Seven shots are heard, followed by a car horn, presumably from the man’s head falling forward. A woman who followed behind the police can be seen screaming and jumping up and down.

There is a lot we don’t know yet. Why was Blake trying to evade the officers? Did the cop think Blake was getting a gun from vehicle?

But of course it’s racist to ask questions like that, or just to wait until we find out the full story. Everybody must riot now!

Democrat Concedes in CA-25 Special Election: Not Close Enough to Steal

Even the amazing ability of California Democrats to manufacture votes through “ballot harvesting” were not enough to elect Christy Smith in Tuesday’s special election to fill the seat vacated by naked bisexual Katie Hill‘s resignation. Republican Mike Garcia won CA-25 by a 12% margin, 56-44, an advantage of more than 18,000 votes, and Smith finally conceded Wednesday afternoon. You can add Garcia’s victory to the win for Republican Tom Tiffany in Wisconsin’s 7th District, filling the seat vacated by Republican Sean Duffy’s retirement. And how did the blog FiveThirtyEight tout this on Monday?

Two Special Elections On Tuesday
Could Hint At Another Blue Wave In 2020

For some reason, they haven’t followed up on that idea. How did they get this “bellwether” so wrong? Molly Hemingway takes a look:

The case made by Geoffrey Skelley and Nathaniel Rakich was simple: Supposedly Americans strongly prefer Biden and Democrats over Trump and Republicans, and they are particularly upset with Trump and other Republicans’ attempts to reopen the country as the global Coronavirus pandemic rages.
“On Tuesday, we’ll get a taste of whether Democrats’ electoral advantage on paper will hold up in practice, as California and Wisconsin hold special elections for two vacant congressional seats. The main event is in the California 25th Congressional District, a bellwether seat in the north Los Angeles suburbs, where both parties see a chance to add to their ranks in the House. But if Democrats are also competitive in the quickly reddening, rural Wisconsin 7th Congressional District, it could signal another blue wave in the fall,” they argued. . . .

Girl’s Kidnapper Held on $5 Million Bond; Court Documents Reveal Crime Details

Thirteen-year-old Jayme Closs was found alive last week, nearly three months after being kidnapped by the 21-year-old man who murdered her parents. Today a Wisconsin judge ordered Jake Thomas Patterson held on $5 million bond, and details of the crime emerged:

A Wisconsin man accused of abducting 13-year-old Jayme Closs and holding her captive for three months made up his mind to take her when he spotted the teenager getting on a school bus, authorities said Monday.
Jake Thomas Patterson, 21, told detectives that “he knew that was the girl he was going to take,” and he made two aborted trips to her family’s home before finally carrying out an attack in which he fatally shot Jayme’s mother in front of her, according to a criminal complaint filed hours before Patterson’s first court appearance.
Prosecutors charged him Monday with kidnapping Jayme and killing her parents Oct. 15 near Barron, about 90 miles northeast of Minneapolis. He was also charged with armed robbery.
Investigators believe Patterson hid Jayme in a remote cabin before she escaped on Thursday. Police have said the two did not know each other. . . .
The complaint said Patterson went to the home twice intending to kidnap Jayme, but broke off one attempt because too many cars were in the driveway and called off another because the house was too active.
On the night she was abducted, Jayme told police, she was asleep in her room when the family dog started barking. She woke her parents as a car came up the driveway.
She and her mother, Denise, hid in the bathroom, clutching one another in the bathtub with the shower curtain pulled shut. Her father, James, went to the front door. They heard a gunshot, and Jayme knew that James had just been killed, according to the complaint.
Denise Closs started to call 911. Patterson broke down the bathroom door. Jayme said he was dressed in black, wearing a face mask and gloves and carrying a shotgun.
Patterson told her mother to hang up and ordered her to tape Jayme’s mouth shut. Patterson told detectives that Denise Closs struggled with the tape so he wrapped the tape himself around Jayme’s mouth and head. He then taped her hands behind her back and taped her ankles together, pulled her out of the bathtub and shot her mother in the head.
He dragged Jayme outside, nearly slipping in blood pooled on the floor. He threw her in the trunk and drove off, pausing to yield to three squad cars speeding toward the house with flashing lights. . . .
Patterson told investigators . . . he assumed he had gotten away with the slayings and kidnappings after two weeks went by. . . .
Authorities have not said whether Jayme was sexually assaulted. The complaint does not charge Patterson with any form of sexual assault.

The documents explain something that otherwise made no sense: How did Patterson, who lived an hour’s drive north of the Closs family home, find this girl?

Patterson told investigators that he worked at Saputo Cheese Factory, south of Almena for two days before quitting.
On his drive to the cheese factory on one of the two mornings he worked there, he had stopped behind a school bus on U.S. Highway 8, where he watched Jayme Closs get on the bus.
Patterson told investigators that he had no idea who she was, nor did he know who lived at the house, according to the complaint.
When he saw Closs, “he knew that was the girl he was going to take,” according to the criminal complaint.

So it was his job in Alemena, where he worked for only two days, that explains how Patterson — who attended high school in Minong, more than 50 miles from Barron County — located his prey. More details:

A man suspected in the kidnapping of Jayme Closs planned the crime methodically after he spotted the Wisconsin teenager getting onto a school bus. . . .
The complaint says Patterson didn’t even know Jayme’s name until he abducted her.
The complaint says Patterson used his father’s 12-gauge Mossberg shotgun because it is commonly used and he thought it would be more difficult to trace. It says he chose the gauge to do the most damage, and wiped shells and shotguns free of fingerprints and wore gloves to load the gun.
The complaint also says Patterson shaved his face and head and showered prior to the attack. He was dressed all in black. It says he took the license plates off his car, put stolen plates on and disconnected the dome and trunk lights.

And also this:

A Wisconsin man suspected of abducting 13-year-old Jayme Closs washed out of the U.S. Marine Corps after little more than a month.
Jake Thomas Patterson wrote in his high school yearbook that he planned to join the Marines after graduation. But military records show he lasted for only about five weeks before being prematurely discharged in October 2015 at the rank of private.
Marine spokeswoman Yvonne Carlock said by email that Patterson’s early discharge indicated “the character of his service was incongruent with Marine Corps’ expectations and standards.”

He couldn’t make it through basic training and never held a steady job, but when it came to kidnapping and murder, his planning was “meticulous.” Too bad they don’t have the death penalty in Wisconsin.

Girl Found Alive After Being Kidnapped by Man Who Murdered Her Parents

Thirteen-year-old Jayme Closs escaped with her life Thursday after being held captive for nearly three months by the man who police say murdered her parents James and Denise Closs. The suspect, 21-year-old Jake Thomas Patterson, specifically targeted the Closs home Oct. 15 with the intention of kidnapping Jayme, according to authorities in Wisconsin:

Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald said Patterson had ‘zero’ criminal history, but said he had “specific intent” to kidnap Jayme Closs, during a 4 p.m. press conference Friday.
Fitzgerald said the suspect used a shotgun to shoot open the door to the Closs family home on Oct. 15 and then used the gun to kill James and Denise Closs before kidnapping Jayme. Fitzgerald said law enforcement recovered a gun that is consistent with the gun used at the crime scene. Investigators are waiting on forensics to prove that it is the same weapon.
Patterson planned his actions and took significant steps to hide his identity from law enforcement, according to Fitzgerald. Those steps included shaving his head so he would not leave trace evidence of his hair at the crime scene.
Jayme escaped from Patterson’s home in Gordon, which is in Douglas County, Thursday afternoon when Patterson was not home, according to Fitzgerald.
“Jayme is the hero in this case, there is no question about it,” Fitzgerald said.
She left the house on foot and was found around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, a short distance away from Patterson’s home, after approaching a woman who was walking her dog. The woman took Jayme to a neighbor’s home and the homeowner called 911.
Douglas County Sheriff Tom Dalbeck said his deputies responded and quickly identified Jayme. They soon located a vehicle matching the description of the suspect’s vehicle given to them by Jayme. Police believe Patterson was out looking for Jayme when they made contact with him. Patterson was arrested 10 minutes after Jayme was found. Officers interviewed Patterson and then brought him to Barron County.

The place where Jayme was found was about 70 miles north of where she was kidnapped, and at this point we don’t know how or why Patterson choose her as the target of what was evidently a crime he had planned carefully. We know almost nothing about Patterson, but there must be something unusual in his background to explain the level of evil required to do what he is accused of doing. Details of her escape:

On Thursday, Closs was able to escape from a cabin before flagging down a person walking a dog in Gordon and asking for help. Jeanne Nutter, the woman who first spotted Closs, told The Associated Press she “was terrified” but wanted to “get her to a safe place.” She recalled the teen looked disheveled, dirty and thin. She also noted Closs was wearing shoes too big for her feet.
“She [Closs] just yelled, ‘Please help me, I don’t know where I am. I’m lost,'” Nutter recalled.
The two went to the home of Peter and Kristin Kasinskas who called 911.
Kristin Kasinskas told The Associated Press she did not know why the teen was targeted. She said Closs told her that the suspect “killed my parents and took me.” Kasinskas said she didn’t know Patterson, although he lived three doors down from her. She said she taught him science in middle school but remembered him as being quiet. She said she did not see him during the months Closs was missing.

Another “quiet loner” type.

Milwaukee: More Than 100 Infected in ‘Cluster’ Outbreak of HIV and Syphilis

Something weird in Wisconsin:

An outbreak of sexually transmitted disease is hitting the Milwaukee area, and an alarming percentage of the patients are teenagers.
According to The Journal Sentinel, at least 125 people — including some high school students — have contracted HIV, syphilis or both in one of the largest sexually transmitted infection “clusters” discovered in the city. . . .
“This is an epidemic people are not talking about enough, and it leads to people taking unnecessary risks,” said Melissa Ugland, a public health consultant told the newspaper.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention defines a “cluster” as “an unusual aggregation, of disease that are grouped together in time and place.” Ugland told the newspaper this cluster was identified because patients could all be connected, and were in contact with each other during a 12-month period.
Most of those who were tested in the group were men and 45 percent were HIV positive, according to Ugland and other health care advocates. . . .
The Milwaukee Health Department released a statement that the entire city is experiencing an increase in sexually transmitted infections in young people ages 15 to 24.

Gosh, an outbreak of sexually transmitted disease that seems to be clustered among teen boys and young men in Milwaukee. Hmmm. . . .

Illegal Alien Causes Mayhem by Threatening to Shoot Bus Passengers

Margarito Vargas-Rosas was arrested Friday.

Bizarre news from Wisconsin:

The man arrested for allegedly threatening to shoot and kill people on a Greyhound bus Friday night was a previously deported illegal immigrant living in Chicago, Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling said Saturday.
During a news conference Saturday afternoon at the Racine County Sheriff’s Office substation, Schmaling said Margarito Vargas-Rosas, 33, was being held in the Lake County (Ill.) Jail in Waukegan on pending charges of making terroristic threats, a Class I felony, and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
The sequence of events leading to Vargas-Rosas’ arrest began on board a Greyhound bus bound for Chicago from Milwaukee on Interstate 94, Schmaling said. At 9:45 p.m., while the bus was in Milwaukee County, at least two passengers aboard the bus called 911 to report a man was threatening to shoot and kill passengers.
Milwaukee County deputies were unable to stop the bus and turned the call over to Racine County Sheriff’s Office deputies to make the stop, Schmaling said. . . .
In Kenosha County, the Sheriff’s Department there and Wisconsin State Patrol joined in trying to pull the Greyhound over, Schmaling said. Their assistance included spiking the bus tires. . . .
“The suspect was ordered out at gunpoint,” the sheriff said. “He did comply — rather reluctantly — but he was ultimately taken into custody without incident.”
There were 37 people on the bus, including Vargas-Rosas and the driver, Schmaling said. . . .
Schmaling said Vargas-Rosas, 33, works at a restaurant in Milwaukee and was taking the bus home to Chicago, where he resides illegally.
“I use the ‘illegally’ because we were notified by immigration authorities that Mr. Vargas-Rosas, the 33-year-old, has been in our country illegally and was deported some time ago back to Mexico, and by virtue of his actions (Friday) night, we see he’s back and threatening to kill Americans.”

Officials will send him back to his “sh–hole country,” again.

#CPAC2017: Draft Sheriff Clarke

NATIONAL HARBOR, Maryland
Saturday night, I spent about 15 minutes talking to Jack Daly, a longtime conservative activist who is a leader of the Draft Sheriff David Clarke for U.S. Senate committee. They want the Milwaukee County sheriff, who has attracted a nationwide following from his appearances on Fox News, to challenge Wisconsin Sen. Tammy Baldwin in 2018. It didn’t take Daly five minutes to make me see what a brilliant idea this is, and the last 10 minutes of our conversation was mainly me raving about how the Clarke for Senate campaign would immediately become a national focus to energize conservatives in the 2018 midterm elections.

This isn’t rocket science. You don’t have to be a political genius to see how vulnerable Baldwin is. In 2012, she only got 51% of the vote against Republican Ron Johnson in a presidential election year with Obama at the top of the ticket to drive turnout among Democrat voters. Looking at the exit polls, Johnson actually got a greater share of the white vote (50%-47%), but Baldwin got 91% of the black vote. What do you think the numbers would look like in a Baldwin-Clarke matchup in a midterm year?

Sen. Tammy Baldwin (left), Sheriff David Clarke (right).

The dividends of such a matchup won’t be limited to Wisconsin. Baldwin is not only a woman, she is a lesbian, so that in the attempt to defend her seat, her re-election campaign will attract millions of dollars in contributions from feminist, abortion and LGBT groups and activists — money and effort they can’t spend elsewhere. And if Clarke runs, he’ll attract many millions of dollars from a nationwide army of conservative small donors — many giving $50 or less. By tapping into untraditional financial channels — from rural gun clubs passing the hat to tech-libertarians cashing out of a bitcoin casino — his campaign will be driven by the exact kind of grassroots energy that elected Trump.

If Clarke runs, he wins — I have no doubt about that — which means all the NARAL and Planned Parenthood money spent in the attempt to defend Baldwin’s seat would be a complete waste on a doomed Democrat.

If one of the most high-profile Senate races in the country in 2018 features a black conservative as the Republican candidate, what does that do to the liberal media narrative of the GOP and President Trump as racists? It destroys it, completely, like the A-bomb wiped out Hiroshima. And, yes, Sheriff Clarke is deeply conservative — he can quote Antonin Scalia by memory — and yes, Donald Trump loves the guy:

“David, we are very proud of you. What you’ve done is incredible. . . .
The first time I saw you on television a couple of years ago
I said: ‘There’s a man who is absolutely terrific! He gets it.'”

That’s one of the many endorsements for Sheriff Clark from the draft committee’s website, which also includes quotes from Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh, Ginni Thomas and others. This campaign could be a real  game-changer in terms of shifting the national balance of power by consolidating the populist/conservative majority in Midwestern states like Wisconsin which Trump won in 2016. If the GOP can build reliable electoral majorities in states like Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania — in 2018, 2020 and beyond — the possibility of Democrats recapturing either the Senate or the White House would become a faint and distant hope for liberals. And if Republicans can elect black conservatives like Sheriff Clarke, they take away from liberals one of their most cherished toys, the identity-politics hustle of race-baiting. Let’s do this thing.

SHERIFF CLARKE FOR SENATE
