FBI: Award-Winning NYC Teacher Paid Teenage Boys for Illegal Nude Photos
Posted on | March 10, 2015 | 24 Comments
Jon Cruz is being held on $1 million bond.
Bronx Science High School is one of the top public schools in New York, and Jon Cruz was one of the school’s top teachers:
An award-winning debate team coach at a prominent New York City public high school faces child pornography charges after federal authorities say he posed as a teen on social media and paid underage boys thousands of dollars for nude photos of themselves.
Jon Cruz was a arrested Friday following an FBI investigation. He teaches social studies and coaches the debate team at New York City’s Bronx High School of Science, where he has won multiple awards for distinguished service since 2006.
Colleagues interviewed by the New York Daily News were “surprised” to learn of the allegations. One debate coach, who did not want to be named, told the paper that “no one ever heard anything untoward about [Cruz].”
On Friday, the FBI charged that Cruz allegedly used a photo of one of his former students as the profile picture on a text messaging app called Kik. He is accused of using the messenger to contact and coerce multiple victims into producing child porn. The FBI launched its probe of the teacher in December 2014 after the parents of one of the victims discovered their son’s exchanges with the alias.
Authorities say Cruz contacted underage boys posing as a 15- or 16-year-old student at the Dalton School in New York City. He told his victims that he was a “nerd” with rich parents who “had a thing for jocks,” chatted with them about sex, and paid them money for nude photos, according to charging documents.
One teen in New Mexico was paid $900 for pictures of his feet and face, and another received $1600 in gift cards in exchange for photos. Cruz sent a third victim $500 for nudes, and asked him to provide “names of other boys who would chat,” the documents said. . . .
“It takes a special depravity to produce child pornography. This type of insidious behavior must stop,” FBI Assistant Director in Charge Diego Rodriguez said in a news release. . . .
Cruz is held on $1 million bail.

Remember: The Affordable Care Act Is Pelosi, Reid & Obama’s Zombie Abortion

Emphasis mine:
The hard question about King is not found in these far-fetched efforts to defeat its plain meaning. It rests instead on the massive disruption that this interpretation could impose on those individuals who, in good faith, purchased insurance on the federal exchange confident that they could gain the subsidy. The government’s defenders stress this point constantly even though they said little about the massive disruptions when millions of people lost their coverages in the original ACA rollout in the fall of 2013. The sad point here is that this latest transitional fiasco was largely avoidable. The Internal Revenue Service knew full well of the risk that it took and yet decided to plunge forward in its willful course of action. It would be distressing if the government’s conscious administrative overreach were rewarded, and it would be equally distressing if millions of innocent people were left in the lurch.
The hard question is whether it is the job of a court to ratify the sins of a government agency, given the dreadful precedent it would create for all future cases. The better choice, on balance, seems for the Court to strike down the IRS regulation and for Congress to work out some fix. That fix should not include expanding the coverage to federal exchanges, which would allow the Obama administration to work an illicit extension of the initial program. A far better suggestion is to make block grants to the states, which could fund subsidies to pick up the slack when the IRS regulation is struck down. The Republicans might well pass such legislation quickly and dare President Obama to veto it—which he might do to legitimate his own misconceived legislation.
When the pain comes, the temptation for the fools who think the ACA is a great idea is going to be to blame the conservatives who’re out to do the proper thing, and not the Pelosi-Reid-Obama Tridumbvirate that is properly responsible for this zombie abortion.
The idea that health insurance is a federal task is about as daft as Her Majesty running a private email server on her watch.

Perhaps You’ve Forgotten …

Pam Grossman (@Phantasmaphile) “is an independent curator, writer, and teacher of magical practice and history” who “explores the role of magic in contemporary life.” And in a July 2013 Huffington Post column, Ms. Grossman wrote this:
So several months ago, I proclaimed to my friends and readers that 2013 would be the Year of the Witch . . .
The archetype of the witch is long overdue for celebration. Daughters, mothers, queens, virgins, wives, et al. derive meaning from their relation to another person. Witches, on the other hand, have power on their own terms. They have agency. They create. They praise. They commune with nature/ Spirit/God/dess/Choose-your-own-semantics, freely, and free of any mediator. But most importantly: they make things happen. The best definition of magic I’ve been able to come up with is “symbolic action with intent” — “action” being the operative word. Witches are midwives to metamorphosis. They are magical women, and they, quite literally, change the world. . . .
Hillary Clinton, arguably the most powerful woman in American history, ended her tenure as Secretary of State . . . with the following words:
“If women and girls everywhere were treated as equal to men in rights, dignity, and opportunity, we would see political and economic progress everywhere. So this is not only a moral issue, which, of course, it is. It is an economic issue and a security issue, and it is the unfinished business of the 21st century.” . . .
The apocalypse has happened, my friends, and it’s still happening. Our task at hand is to bring about the end of the old world, but then to create something vital and shining and new. Instead of four horses, we’re riding in on brooms.

What kind of bizarre photos of Lanny are the Clintons holding? Watching a grown man roll like a drunk in Her Majesty’s scandal vomit really leaves one needing some hygiene:
Lanny your only hope for your Mistress is that people are as craven as you, or really, really stupid. Because nobody with half a shred of intelligence ever believed Her Majesty at any point. The nicest thing that can be said is that her corruption is consistent.
Kudos to Chris Wallace for doing a proper job, such a rarity these days.

This was a comment I wrote on a previous post:
Here’s the thing that bothers me: Like anybody else, I’m just trying to work for a living and pay my bills and raise my children. And yet they won’t leave us alone. The Left’s constant war of aggression against “bourgeois … upper-class hegemony,” their implacable hostility to Christianity, the family and the other institutions of American society, means that we can never have a moment’s peace.
Constantly, we find the Left dividing us, demanding that we choose sides and accusing us of hateful selfishness if we do not join their crusades to destroy American society.
They yell “Civil rights!” And you are a RACIST if you don’t support whatever agenda the Left is pushing. They yell “Economic equality!” And you are a CAPITALIST OPPRESSOR who hates working people if you don’t support the Left’s agenda. “Gay rights!” You’re an ignorant prejudiced HOMOPHOBE. “Women’s rights!” You’re a MISOGYNIST who hates women.
The Left’s agenda is always about accusing us — ordinary Americans just going about our daily lives — of hateful selfishness. Accuse! Accuse! Accuse!
Once you start noticing this pattern, eventually you feel the need to ask these “progressive” activists a simple question: “Who are YOU to accuse ME?”
What gives these people the moral authority to accuse honest law-abiding citizens of “oppressing” others? What acts of unselfish generosity have these “progressives” ever done, that would qualify them as such exemplary characters as to judge us?
Who elected them the Official Arbiters of Social Justice?
They have no credibility.
Closely examine these “progressive” loudmouths and, over and over, what you find is either (a) they’re some born-rich snob who attended an elite private college your kids could never afford, (b) they’re employed by some government agency or tax-exempt organization so that it is their professional career to lecture us about our alleged moral inferiority, or (c) they’re some kind of lunatic pervert.
Oh, I almost forgot (d) all of the above.
Damn these people and damn their “progressive” agenda. They aren’t better than the rest of us and, in most cases, they’re just lazy arrogant narcissists who want to bask in public admiration for telling everybody how morally inferior we are to them.
Damn them. Damn them all to hell.

Hillary actually send 55,000 (paper) pages of UNSEARCHABLE emails to the state dept. http://t.co/wz4XWzRkl2 @AceofSpadesHQ
— Arthur Kimes (@ComradeArthur) March 9, 2015
So, Her Majesty blows off common sense and any number of regulations to run her own email server while in office. Her Royal Bluff is called, and she’s all
“I want the public to see my email, ” she wrote in the Tweet. “I asked State to release them. They said they will review them for release as soon as possible.”
What is “soon” on the Regal Timepiece?
What does that mean, 55,000 “pages”? Or maybe you just read it, as the crack fact-check team over at PolitiFact did just last night, as 55,000 emails.
It turns out the reference is to literal physical pages. From Friday’s Times: “Finally, in December, dozens of boxes filled with 50,000 pages of printed emails from Mrs. Clinton’s personal account were delivered to the State Department.”
Why did Mrs. Clinton have her staff go through the trouble of printing out, boxing and shipping 50,000 or 55,000 pages instead of just sending a copy of the electronic record? One can only speculate, but there is an obvious advantage: Printed files are less informative and far harder to search than the electronic originals.
Given the Imperial non-command of security, one can only hope that a ream or twa is not mislaid in the process.
I mean, sure would be a cryin’, godforsaken shame if somebody got ahold of a box, scanned them with a drunken OCR program, and had Her Majesty in a furious catfight with President Jarrett over an Ambassador getting whacked, or something. No, that would never happen. Too farfetched. Who would believe anything less that exactly what the Regal Lips have uttered?

Did You Know …?

“International Women’s Day” (IWD) is a Communist holiday. Despite my extensive knowledge of communist history, I didn’t know this until I saw a post on the Tumblr blog of Mehreen Kasana, a Pakistani-born radical feminist who lives in New York:
This time when you celebrate International Women’s Day, make it a point to remember that it started off as International Working Women’s Day until the bourgeoisie hijacked it and removed its class component to present a false and unified ‘sisterhood’ so that women were discouraged from participating in the struggle against upper class hegemony.
Thank you for the tip, Ms. Kasana! It’s amazing the things the bourgeoisie can learn by reading feminist Tumblr blogs. So I checked Wikipedia, and sure enough, it’s true: The first International Women’s Day was organized in 1909 by the Socialist Party of America, and this anti-capitalist holiday played a pivotal role in history:
In 1917 demonstrations marking International Women’s Day in Saint Petersburg on the last Sunday in February (which fell on March 8 on the Gregorian calendar) initiated the February Revolution. Women in Saint Petersburg went on strike that day for “Bread and Peace” — demanding the end of World War I, an end to Russian food shortages, and the end of czarism. [Bolshevik revolutionary] Leon Trotsky wrote, “23 February (8th March) was International Woman’s Day and meetings and actions were foreseen. But we did not imagine that this ‘Women’s Day’ would inaugurate the revolution. Revolutionary actions were foreseen but without date. But in morning, despite the orders to the contrary, textile workers left their work in several factories and sent delegates to ask for support of the strike … which led to mass strike … all went out into the streets.”
Following the October Revolution, the Bolshevik Alexandra Kollontai and Vladimir Lenin made it an official holiday in the Soviet Union … On May 8th, 1965 by the decree of the USSR Presidium of the Supreme Soviet International Women’s Day was declared a non-working day in the USSR “in commemoration of the outstanding merits of Soviet women in communistic construction, in the defense of their Fatherland during the Great Patriotic War, in their heroism and selflessness at the front and in the rear, and also marking the great contribution of women to strengthening friendship between peoples, and the struggle for peace. But still, women’s day must be celebrated as are other holidays.”
From its official adoption in Russia following the Soviet Revolution in 1917 the holiday was predominantly celebrated in communist and socialist countries.
You can read more of that history here (PDF).
America won the Cold War, but the deadly totalitarian ideology of the Soviet Union — the “Evil Empire” as Ronald Reagan famously called it — has been resurrected in the name of feminism.
Honestly, I knew nothing of this history Sunday when I noticed friends on Twitter mocking International Women’s Day.
“@kurt_loder: Tomorrow back to International Men's Day…”

As far as I knew then, International Women’s Day was just one of those silly occasions created by the United Nations and promoted by the tax-exempt non-profit feminist groups that feed at the trough where governments and gigantic foundations (Ford, Rockefeller, Gates, etc.) shovel out grants to crusading liberal do-gooder types in sensible shoes. Then I noticed radical feminist Laurie Penny pimping IWD.

That’s right: Laurie Penny’s book quoted Alexandra Kollontai, the Bolshevik commissar who helped make IWD a holiday in the Soviet Union! Let’s quote the commissar, eh?
“The communist economy does away with the family. In the period of the dictatorship of the proletariat . . . the family loses its significance as an economic unit. The external economic functions of the family disappear . . .
“Once the family has been stripped of its economic functions and its responsibilities towards the younger generation and is no longer central to the existence of the woman, it has ceased to be a family.”
— Alexandra Kollontai, 1921
This, my friends, is the ideology celebrated on the communist holiday International Women’s Day. The more you know about feminism, the more you recognize its familiar totalitarian agenda.
