So Funny, When Feminism Thinks The Unborn Should Die

by Smitty

Funny or Die dives deep into the grave here:

What a creepy, sick, Orwellian world these feminists live in. Remind me again why any mature, masculine male would want to be in the same room as these abattoir-vaginas, much less offering them any essence to destroy? I guess I should say “choose to destroy”.

The sickness of the government-worship implied in this clip is only exceeded by the crypto-incest of talking about their dads and their vaginas at the end, if you can make it that far.

“Ye are the sodium chloride of the Earth,” to paraphrase the Sage. He did not follow up: “And if the chlorine hath lost its mind, and formeth not the good salt of a family with the sodium, then it shall have lost its savor to feminism, and be fit for going under the wheeled conveyance* of history, with the rest of a godless culture.” And why was such an addendum unnecessary? Because a couple thousand years ago, people weren’t post-Modern crack-addled Feminist nitwits, that’s why.

The good news is that these twisted females are unlikely to achieve any reproduction under the sun. Thus, there isn’t much danger of the World’s Youngest Blogger encountering this sort of dementia when he’s old enough to date. I hope these women find sense and these perverted ideas die, die, die.

Tom Barrett’s War on Wisconsin Women

Mayor Tom Barrett is a misogynistic patriarchal oppressor
who thinks you look fat in those pants.

Progressive women in Wisconsin are about to learn a lesson they should have learned four years ago when Hillary Clinton got thrown under the wheels of Obama’s bus: All that talk you hear from Democrats about “women’s rights” goes right out the window the minute any woman gets in the way of a Democratic man’s ambitions.

Tuesday is Wisconsin’s Democratic primary, as Anne Sorock at Legal Insurrection reminds us. Progressives are backing Kathleen Falk as their candidate to take on Republican Gov. Scott Walker. Unfortunately for Ms. Falk and the aspirations of Wisconsin women, the old boys in the state’s Democratic Party machine (with the blessing of Team Obama) have lined up behind the corrupt mayor of Milwaukee, Tom Barrett:

Given the fierce political division that has prevailed in Wisconsin for more than a year since the passage of Act 10, one could be forgiven for thinking that Falk — early and unstinting in her assault on Walker’s measures — ought to be wiping up the floor with Barrett among angry Democrats.
In fact, the opposite seems to be true. Barrett was statistically even with or ahead of Falk in most polls even before he declared his candidacy. As soon as he did declare, he began to gain steam. In the latest poll, released Wednesday by the Marquette University Law School, Falk had dropped precipitously to lag Barrett by a 17 percentage point margin.

See, ladies? If you’re willing to sit around begging for scraps at the Democratic Party table, don’t complain when they treat you like dogs.

You know who really appreciates women’s support? Republicans, that’s who. And at least when Republicans screw you over, they do it for profit. Democrats just screw you over for fun.

RE-ELECT GOV. SCOTT WALKER
He’s Kind of Cute (And Doesn’t Think Those Pants Make You Look Fat)

National Offend a Feminist Week 2012

Did somebody say “War on Women”? OK, we’re not actually anti-woman. More like, anti-Women’s Studies majors. Which is why, for the fourth consecutive year, we are pleased once more to inaugurate this annual festival of fun, quoting the immortal words of our charter:

Hey, sweetheart, when I say “bring me a cup of coffee,” I mean bring me fresh coffee, OK?

Ever since we began this yearly celebration in 2009, it has been necessary to explain that we do not endorse wife-spanking. Unless she needs it.

Most of the time, however, spanking is unnecessary, because our wives know to bring us fresh coffee. That’s why we married them, right? And, of course, because our wives have a sense of humor.

Q. How many feminists does it take to screw in a light bulb?
A. That’s not funny!

Joking at the expense of feminists, however, has become increasingly dangerous. Earlier this year, the Southern Poverty Law Center added “misogyny” to his hate-group listings, so it’s probably a civil-rights violation to laugh at these jokes. And you’re a sexual predator if you talk to an atheist feminist in a hotel elevator.

The empowering message of feminism is that all women are victims.

Victimhood is synonymous with power. To deny women their victimhood is therefore to re-victimize and disempower them.

Don’t laugh: Somebody once laughed at Ashley Judd’s puffy face, and we’ve been suffering from her empowered victimhood ever since.

As usual, National Offend a Feminist Week ends on Mother’s Day Oppressed Victims of Patriarchy Day, when millions of womyn are painfully reminded of what happens when they are deprived of “choice.”

WARNING: If you are offended by images of how women were victimized before they had The Right to Choose, DO NOT CLICK THIS LINK!

Gruesome, isn’t it? And speaking of gruesome, Amanda Marcotte:

A lot of conservatives have taunted me personally with assumptions that I’m constantly getting abortions with my slutty slut self, so you can see why people who also believe that Obama is a covert agent might think there’s some secret underground conspiracy of feminists to emasculate men by secretly stealing away the womb fruit that proves their American seed works. The 4 million proof-their-fathers-had-sex-things we call babies born a year are seen as the rare escapees from the pro-choice conspiracy to wipe out all proof of American virility.

Making fun of Amanda Marcotte is simple: Just quote her.

Also, remember that Amanda Marcotte once believed — indeed, she was paid to proclaim — that John Edwards should be elected president. Never mind his disgusting adultery and love-child breeding. What is truly disgusting, Ms. Marcotte informs us, is that Edwards is being prosecuted for misusing campaign funds.

Victimhood is power, remember? Edwards is a victim, and therefore powerful. And powerful men are sexy!

Do you suspect that Amanda Marcotte craves John Edwards’s seed? Will you ever forgive me for suggesting that nauseating mental image?

Speaking of nauseating images: Women gazing with awe at Obama!

Today is Monday, which gives bloggers a full seven days for spitefully mocking feminism and everything feminists admire or cherish. Large Crowd of Unattractive Women Attend ‘Slutwalk’ Parade in Boston

“Stop the violence, stop the hate,” hundreds of ugly women chanted as they paraded down the streets holding up signs with stupid slogans:

You’ll excuse my factual description of the event, but I haven’t seen so many dogs in one place since the AKC grand championship show.

The Boston Herald reports:

It’s not every day that you see women circling Boston Common in the midafternoon wearing only micro minis and bras.
So when the “Boston Slutwalk” wound its way from Government Center to the Common yesterday, chanting, “However we dress, wherever we go, yes means yes, and no means no,” heads turned, but there weren’t many catcalls.
But then, you don’t mess with 200 “sluts” on a mission.
“Just because I want to go out and have a good time doesn’t mean you can do whatever you want with me,” said Natalie Olbrych, a 21-year-old student from Brownsville, Vt., who said she was raped in 2007 during her senior year of high school.
Yesterday’s protest was one of an international series of “Slutwalks” sparked earlier this year when a Toronto cop reportedly told a group of York University law students that the best way to avoid getting raped was to not dress like a slut.
Jaclyn Friedman, a Medford writer, performer and editor of “Yes Means Yes: Visions of Female Sexual Power and a World Without Rape,” called the word a “vicious weapon” designed to “keep us in line. To separate us. To make us police each other, turn on each other and turn each other in so that we can prove we’re not ‘like that.’ ”

Figuring that feminist blogs would be the best place to find the background on the “Slutwalk” movement, I went to Feministing, where I found the movement’s founders, Sonya Barnett and Heather Jarvis, interviewed by Lori Adelman:

Lori Adelman: What, in your opinion, is the greatest challenge facing feminism today?
Sonya Barnett: For me, it’s dealing with those that are working so hard to oppress feminism.

Which would be . . . me. Because I’m encouraging you to read that whole interview, which contains enough joke-fodder to last a lifetime, e.g.:

Lori Adelman: You’re going to a desert island, and you’re allowed to take one food, one drink and one feminist. What do you pick?
Heather Jarvis: Strawberry rhubarb pie, because I love pie even more than cupcakes. Water. And I think I would have to choose Madonna. I think she would have lots of amazing stories, and I could learn a lot from her, and she’s such a sex positive amazing badass. I would love it!

“Madonna . . . she’s such a sex positive amazing badass.” Continue reading Large Crowd of Unattractive Women Attend ‘Slutwalk’ Parade in Boston →

Amity Shlaes Has a Big Sexy Brain

Back in February we took notice of the “Draft Amity Shlaes for Senate” campaign proposed by Adam Brickley, who was the first to suggest Sarah Palin as GOP vice-presidential timber in 2008. It seems to have gotten an enthusiastic response — “Amity Shlaes Senate” yields 278,000 Google results.

Her credentials are impressive, and she would certainly be more than a match for Kirsten Gillibrand.

Robert Birch says the “Draft Shlaes” movement is perfect for National Offend a Feminist Week, and we couldn’t agree more.

Because she’s got a big brain. IYKWIMAITYD.

Pneumonia Update, Etc.

Three days since I went to the emergency room. I’m coughing less, but my chest is still sore. Everybody keeps telling me to drink lots of fluids and get plenty of rest. Which I do, but then news happens and I feel the need to blog it. Also, there are feminists who need to be offended . . .

Dave C at Point of a Gun writes:

Pneumonia Is Fun Until Someone Gets Hurt And Loses A Lung

As an excuse to take drugs, it’s as good as a Pink Floyd concert. So if you ask, “How are you feeling?” my answer is, better than bin Laden:

Thanks to those who have hit the tip jar for the “Get Well Fund,” including Joan in Georgia, Philip in Englewood, and Linda in Tucson. Just so you feel like you’re getting your money’s worth, here’s another vintage image that will offend the feminists: Continue reading Pneumonia Update, Etc. →

Feminism: Synonym for Insanity?

During his Sunday announcement that U.S. special operations forces had killed terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden, President Obama said, “Justice has been done.”

Not even the president’s harshest Republican critics would argue with that. But you know who could argue? Jos Truitt at Feministing:

That’s not what I call justice. I don’t see justice in violence responding to violence. I see vengeance. I don’t see justice in one killing in the midst of many. Where’s the justice in 10 years of war, in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, now Libya? In the killing of uncounted, unacknowledged civilians, including when bin Laden was killed? In sending young Americans, my friends, overseas to kill and be killed? In endless war?
Where’s the justice in pumping money into war overseas while there’s continued state violence against people on American soil? Against American Indians robbed of resources and exposed to sexual violence? Where’s the justice in our “criminal justice” system? A system that locks up far too many people, far too many young people of color including invisibilized queer and trans youth, for non-violent reasons in prisons that produce increased violence within their walls, that condition people to this state of violence and then send them to do violence outside?
Where’s the justice in funding wars while Americans experience the more subtle violence of lack of access to health care, including reproductive health care? When the US deports huge numbers of immigrants? When the divide between rich and poor in this country is getting bigger every day, the poor group growing and the rich group shrinking?

How far gone into moral blindness can you be, to view the unspeakable acts of Osama bin Laden as equivalent to, e.g., the deportation of illegal aliens?

Feminists Offended by TV Commercial; Osama bin Laden? Not So Offensive

This is National Offend a Feminist Week, and last night I checked in to see what was happening at Feministing, where Lori Adelman was profoundly offended by this commercial for Klondike ice cream bars:

Now, this is what we call a “joke.” The guy in the commercial is watching the game, and his wife wants to talk to him about something else — something greatly interesting to her, but of no interest to him, since he is watching the game.

The joke is dependent on stereotypes: Guys just want to watch sports on TV and aren’t good at listening to their wives. But there is a recognizable element of truth to these stereotypes, and certainly many married people — husbands and wives alike — will smile in recognition.

Adelman is offended, however: “Wives, of course, only talk about things like which color to paint the foyer.”

No, but whatever she wants to talk about while her husband is watching the game is, from her husband’s perspective, trivial. The point of the joke isn’t that wives only talk about trivial things. Rather, it is about the fact that women value communication in a way that most men don’t. (And guys value sports in ways that women usually don’t.)

Entire essays have been written on the subject of differences in how men and women communicate. This TV commercial oversimplifies these differences, and arguably does so in a sexist direction, but hey — it’s just a freaking commercial, OK?

Meanwhile, Feministing offers a guest-blog by a “race theory” professor, Falguni A. Sheth, who is enraged by the death of Osama bin Laden:

The assassination of Osama Bin Laden doesn’t signal a victory for Americans but rather a resounding alarm about the surreal state of affairs in which we Americans have landed, with President Obama at the helm, leading the charge to assassinate Americans and foreigners alike, and vicious beatings of all others who express dissent and stand in the way of the United States Government. We must finally set our sights on neither the Democrats nor the Republicans, but instead put our faith for hope and change in a third party who will kick these vicious xenophobic, racist, brutal plutocrats out of office, and send their banker and insurance friends packing as well. Shame, President Obama, on you and all your “Democratic” colleagues.

You really ought to read the whole thing, just to see how demented this woman is in her anti-Americanism. (You won’t be surprised to learn she is a Berkeley alumna.) But while the editors of Feministing permit Professor Sheth 1,000 words to denounce American “imperialism,” they offer just a brief and uncritical mention of this bit of news:

There are reports that during the attack on the Osama bin Laden’s compound yesterday, a woman was used as a human shield. The President’s chief counterterrorism adviser says that woman was one of bin Laden’s wives.

Not a peep of criticism there of Islam’s explicit endorsement of polygamy, nor any acknowledgement that, in fighting militant Islam, the West is confronting a belief system infinitely more oppressive of women than anything in that Klondike TV commercial.
