New Name, Same Game: ACORN Revived as Soros-Funded ‘Democracy’ Network
Posted on | May 28, 2017 | 2 Comments
In 2009, James O’Keefe, Hannah Giles and Andrew Breitbart basically destroyed ACORN, the radical “social justice” group that had begun as a spinoff of the National Welfare Rights Organization and grown into a nationwide political network. The wreckage of ACORN exposed the connections between these left-wing groups and the Alinsky tactics used by former “community organizer” Barack Obama. Destroying ACORN as an organization, however, did not destroy the idea behind it, and many of the same people are now organizing a new network:
A new $80 million anti-Trump network is being led by an organization whose top funder is liberal billionaire George Soros and which employs former members of the controversial and now-defunct Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN).
The Center for Popular Democracy Action Fund, the 501(c)(4) sister organization of the Center for Popular Democracy (CPD), a New York-based nonprofit that receives the bulk of its funding from George Soros, announced at their spring gala Tuesday that they will be heading up the new $80 million anti-Trump network that will span 32 states and have 48 local partners, CNN reported. . . .
The Center for Popular Democracy, which was founded in 2012, consists of old chapters of ACORN, the community-organizing group that was forced to close after being stripped of its federal funds following controversy in 2010.
Andrew Friedman, a co-executive director at the Center for Popular Democracy, co-founded Make the Road New York, a Latino immigrant group that has worked alongside CPD on a number of anti-Trump campaigns. Friedman serves on the board of Make the Road New York (MRNY) and Make the Road Action Fund, which are closely linked to CPD and contain many overlapping staffers. . . .
The groups, which have combined to receive millions in funding from George Soros, funnel money to each other. . . .
Soros has a goal of enlarging the electorate by 10 million voters by 2018, the Washington Free Beacon discovered after a trove of hacked Soros documents were released last year by DC Leaks.
How is this “enlarging the electorate” supposed to happen? By activist groups doing what used to be called “knock and drag” get-out-the-vote operations — knock on the door and drag them to the polls. In the meantime, of course, they’ll be organizing “spontaneous” protests to keep up the appearance of a grassroots anti-Trump movement, but the green in this grass comes from a radical billionaire ideologue.

President of NYC Young Democrats Arrested on Child Pornography Charges
Posted on | May 27, 2017 | Comments Off on President of NYC Young Democrats Arrested on Child Pornography Charges
A leading young Democrat and de Blasio administration employee has a secret taste for sickening kiddie porn that involves baby girls as young as 6 months old, court papers revealed Friday.
Jacob Schwartz, 29, was busted for allegedly keeping more than 3,000 disgusting images and 89 videos on a laptop after downloading the filth from the internet.
The illegal smut shows “young nude females between the approximate ages of 6 months and 16, engaging in sexual conduct… on an adult male,” court papers say.
Schwartz’s father — labor lawyer and Democratic insider Arthur Schwartz — called his son’s case “a personal tragedy.”
“I understand these are serious charges,” said the elder Schwartz, who watched his son get arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court on Thursday night. . . .
Jacob Schwartz surrendered to NYPD computer-crimes investigators in Manhattan’s 13th Precinct on Thursday morning, sources said.
He’d been under investigation since March 29, when he handed over his laptop and gave cops written permission to search it, court papers say.
Jacob Schwartz is the president of the Manhattan Young Democrats and the downstate region vice president of the New York State Young Democrats. . . .
Schwartz is employed as a $66,360-a-year computer programmer analyst in the city Department of Design and Construction, where he works on the “Build It Back” Hurricane Sandy recovery and resiliency program.
President of the Young Democrats! A typical “progressive” male . . .
College Teacher Eric Clanton Charged With Assault in Anti-Trump ‘Protest’
Posted on | May 26, 2017 | 2 Comments
Eric Clanton is charged with attacking Trump supporters in Berkeley.
Last month, we reported that Eric Clanton, an adjunct philosophy teacher at Diablo Valley College was suspected of being the masked man who attacked Trump supporters at an April 15 rally in Berkeley:
- April 20: Activists Claim Berkeley ‘Anti-Fascist’ Attacker Is College Instructor Eric Clanton
- April 25: Report: Police Investigating Eric Clanton in Berkeley ‘Anti-Fascist’ Attack
Clanton was identified by online activists using facial recognition software, and this week Berkeley police arrested the suspect:
A former Diablo Valley College philosophy professor has been arrested for his role in a violent melee that broke out during a Berkeley rally supporting President Donald Trump last month, authorities said Thursday. . . .
Authorities said Eric Clanton was arrested in Oakland on Wednesday afternoon. There had been an outcry for his apprehension on alt-right websites after a video clip was posted on social media of the 28-year-old allegedly assaulting a pro-Trump demonstration with a bike lock.
A DVC spokesman said among the philosophy classes Clanton taught was “Introduction to Ethics.”
“We especially at Diablo Valley College received, in fact, hundreds of calls and emails concerning the hiring, that we have someone like this in front of our class, in front of our students, potentially dangerous,” said spokesman Tim Leong.
Clanton was a candidate to teach another philosophy class at the college this summer. But he was arrested by Berkeley Police Wednesday.
Investigators said cellphone videos show him swinging the U-lock at multiple Trump supporters in the head, injuring at least three people.
Police said finding the U-lock attacker was such a priority, homicide detectives were assigned to the case.
“You’re swinging a small metal object that can absolutely cause traumatic injuries,” said Berkeley Police Lt. Kevin Schofield.
Investigators credit cellphone videos for helping them identify the U-lock attacker. Some people even posted their own research online, identifying the masked man as Clanton.
He was being held Thursday in the Berkeley city jail on $200,000 bail for assault with a non-firearm deadly weapon with an enhancement clause charge.
In any argument that something is seriously wrong with America’s higher education system, Exhibit A is Eric Clanton, who has a master’s degree in philosophy from San Francisco State University and was teaching ethics (!!!) to teenagers at a California community college.

Transgender Professor in South Carolina Attacks Feminists as ‘Cockroaches’
Posted on | May 24, 2017 | 3 Comments
Until a few years ago, Professor Rachel McKinnon was a Canadian, and was also a male. Rhys McKinnon attended the University of Victoria in British Columbia, where he got a bachelor’s degree in philosophy in 2005. Sometime thereafter, Rhys McKinnon decided he was a “she,” so that by the time he/“she” received his/“her” Ph.D. at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, the name on the diploma was “Rachel Veronica McKinnon.”
Well, when in Canada, do as the Canadians do, I suppose, but somehow Professor McKinnon got hired to teach . . . in South Carolina???
The College of Charleston is a taxpayer-supported public institution whose president is Glenn McConnell, a former Republican state senator.
Do taxpayers in South Carolina know what’s being done with their money? Do they know that this professor at the College of Charleston used Mother’s Day as an occasion to label parents as “abusive” if they aren’t “supportive” of sex-changes for their children?
Permit me to say, as a parent of six children, that if a demented freak like Rachel McKinnon ever tried to talk to any of my kids — “You can call me. We can Skype.” — I would not hesitate to call the police. Yet here is this weirdo on YouTube inviting “trans kids” to contact him/“her” for “support” as a member of the “glitter queer family,” and doing this as a professor on the payroll of a state college in South Carolina.
As might be expected, Professor McKinnon’s “glitter queer family” recruitment video sparked controversy. However, it wasn’t South Carolina Republicans who complained, but rather feminists.
That was the headline at Gender Trender, a feminist website that is opposed to transgender activism. These “gender critical” feminists consider transgender ideology to be anti-woman, and also dangerous to children. In the Gender Critical Reddit forum, one contributor commented on Professor McKinnon’s video:
So…this is just grooming. It’s not necessarily sexual (although Jesus, it couldn’t seem creepier if he tried) but grooming is grooming.
And sexual abuse of young trans people is rampant. . . .
So even if this specific man isn’t a child predator he is encouraging children to make themselves even more vulnerable to abuse by isolating them from friends and family, telling them to hide their online activity, and explaining that their parents just don’t understand how smart and mature and ready they are to make decisions about their bodies.
There is nothing new about this. We know that adults trying to lure children from their families are bad actors. This is disgusting and creepy and wrong.
The long-running dispute between feminists and transgender activists has made headlines (see “What Is a Woman?” in the New Yorker, Aug. 4, 2014), and transgender activists invented the label “TERF” — trans-exclusive radical feminist — to stigmatize their opponents. Predictably, when Professor McKinnon’s Mother’s Day video elicited online criticism, he/“she” responded by demonizing his/“her” critics: “TERFs are like cockroaches: they’re brave and active until you turn the lights on. They run pretty quickly when you shine the light on them.”
However, it is not feminists who have refused to engage in discussion on this issue. Instead, transgender activists have sought to silence their critics, prohibiting disagreement as “hate speech,” and preventing opponents of transgender ideology from speaking on campus. Feminists have refused to back down. At a Heritage Foundation panel discussion earlier this year, Mary Lou Singleton, a member of the radical Women’s Liberation Front, said opposition to transgenderism “has become ‘forbidden discourse’ on the left”:
She said her nurse practitioner practice was hit with a boycott because she refused to use the preferred pronouns of an alleged serial rapist who abused children. . . .
“The medical transitioning of children is gay conversion therapy on steroids — literally.”
All of this would be merely an argument between private individuals, were it not for the fact that Professor McKinnon is on the payroll of a state college in South Carolina, where it seems unlikely that taxpayers know what kind of weird ideas are being promoted at their expense.

If you are a citizen of South Carolina, you have a right to speak out about the kind of “education” being provided at your expense, and I sincerely doubt that officials in South Carolina will be eager to defend Professor McKinnon’s “glitter queer family” recruitment video. My suggestion to readers is that that they share this article as widely as possible with their family and friends. Send it by email, or share it on Facebook or Twitter. Surely there must be sane people in South Carolina who appreciate how insulting it is to parents that state officials have hired this Canadian freak to teach their young people that “the relationships that we make in our glitter families are just as real, just as meaningful as our blood families.”
.This is why I don't 'argue' with TERFs–to do so would be an affront to reason and evidence, for which they have no concern.
— Dr. Rachel McKinnon (@rachelvmckinnon) May 17, 2017
Professor McKinnon claims his/“her” critics are “propagandists” whom he/“she” does not need to debate, but “merely expose their claims to the sunlight.” Can Professor McKinnon’s “glitter queer family” recruitment withstand exposure to sunlight? We shall see.

UPDATE: Someone has done a YouTube clip highlighting Professor McKinnon’s use of child imagery in his/“her” recruitment video:
Remember: South Carolina taxpayers provide Professor McKinnon’s salary. This is therefore an official, state-endorsed ideology.
