Shark Tank Catches A ‘Racial’ Altercation In Real Time

This video by The Shark Tank catches Yid with Lid and Greg Thrasher
Thrasher posts today, presumably in response:
One of the truths I have learned from my activism in the area of civil rights is the ability to evolve pass[sic] seeking racial parity and equity with the majority society . I now understand that it is critical to evolve beyond a sense of validation and affirmation . My maturation must take me to a place where I elevate my personhood and begin to become an architect to create a life which encompasses more than parity but a higher state of existence. A platform where my quest is no longer limited by parity and equality but an attitude that elevates my personhood. A life full of life…..
Look, we have to be about meritocracy and equality of opportunity. The GOP had a couple dozen black nominees in 2010. We need to ask, when anyone plays the race card, “What are the exit criteria? When has ‘enough’ been done? How can you satisfy me that we haven’t already done ‘enough’, and now we’re over-achieving?”

13:36 Metallic “Enter Sandman” bumper music.
13:37 I get 10 minutes. I brought 13 hours of material. I have a message for POTUS:
13:37 No one person gets to decide guilt or innocence. My question was whether Presidential power has limits.
13:38 President Obama signed an indefinite detention bill, for all he says he has no intention. Good intentions are not enough.
13:38 The oath of office says “I WILL,” not “I intend”. Mr. President, good intentions are not enough.
13:40 Montesquieu wrote that there can be no liberty without separation of powers. Our Bill of Rights make us exceptional.
13:41 To those who say it’s no big deal, tell that to the survivors of those who dropped life and limb in its defense.
13:42 Reagan: “As government grows, freedom contracts.”
13:43 The President believes we can keep adding to the debt. The President has it exactly backwards.
13:44 Look at how ridiculous politicians have behaved over the sequester. Only in Washington can a $7Tr increase in spending be called a cut.
13:44 President cuts tours at the White House, but finds $250Mil for Egypt. I say “Not one penny more to countries. . .”
13:46 What about the $3Mil we spend to study monkeys on meth? What about the $300K for the robot squirrel?
13:48 You can’t protect the 2nd Amendment if you don’t protect the 4th Amendment. We need to jealously guard all of our liberties.
13:49 The FaceBook generation can detect hypocrisy. They don’t want leaders who sell them a lot of crap.
13:50 There is nothing conservative about bailing out Wall Street.
13:50 The Republican party has to change by going forward to the timeless principles of our Constitution.
13:51 This month, proposing a 5 year balanced budget. No Dept. of Ed., devolve power to States, cut corporate tax in half, 17% personal income tax, and cutting regs. that strangle business.
13:52 We need to show up on the South side of Chicago and shouts at the top of our lungs: we are the party of jobs and entry into the middle class.
13:54 The GOP has grown old and moss-covered. I don’t think I need to name any names. If we’re going to have a GOP that can win, then, liberty must be the backbone.
13:55 I will ask everyone who values liberty to
STAND WITH ME
.
Senator Marco Rubio At CPAC Liveblog

13:17 Ran three years ago, came to CPAC, when my chances of winning were equal to winning at a Papal Conclave.
13:19 Have the people changed? No. The world around us has changed due to technology, impacting people.
13:20 People are worried about man-made crises they see coming from DC.
13:21 Who is fighting for the hard-working people of this country? That is our challenge and opportunity as conservative leaders. Our hard-working, middle class makes us strong and exceptional. It sets us apart from the world.
13:22 Infighting amongst conservatives is foolish. There has to be a home for people who believe in limited government. We have to have respect. Just because I believe states should be able to define marriage does not make me a bigot. Just because I believe life begins at conception does not make me . . .
13:25 We need a balance between a strong defense and over-extended military policy.
13:26 Every parent in America should have the opportunity to send their child to the school of their choice. Trade schools.
13:27 The breakdown of the family is a problem, that the government should talk about, but should be solved via the community.
13:28 We need health care reform that is market-centric. The education debt bubble hurts. I graduate with $100 large in debt that I paid off via my book, available on Amazon. It is a major problem.
13:30 [Drinks water]
13:30 “The China Dream,” is a book by a Colonel, is that China should eclipse the U.S. in world leadership. There is a nation trying to supplant us, while we’re bickering.
13:31 China:
– No free internet access.
– No habeas corpus.
– Forcible repatriation.
– Forced labor.
What we have in the U.S. is different, special, historic. We have the real chance in the U.S.
13:33 Critics of Rubio will say:
– Drank too much water.
– No new ideas. WE DON’T NEED NEW IDEAS. We have what works. The world copies us.
CPAC Update: Finally Connected

The National Harbor venue is a real plus up. Tea Party News Network is fronting the WiFi, which is great, since somehow my 4G services aren’t working here (!!?!). Much more spacious. The exhibit floor does not feel like a sauna.
Norquist’s panel “AAA America: Could a Federal Balanced Budget Amendment Save America From Congress?” is highly Constitutional, sober, and well-worth publicizing. I’ll have to locate it online later and update this post. Panelists include:
- Andy Harris (MD-1)
- Nick Dranias of the Goldwater Institute
- Lew Uhler of National Tax Limitation Committee
You want to know why I’m here? Stuff like this.

This unabashedly heretic blog* salutes the traditional election of the new Pontifex Maximus, Francis I, after Francis of Assisi.
As I was explaining on Twitter to Jimmie Bise:
.@jimmiebjr As a heretic Baptist, I’ve no skin in the game, except to admit that the Roman Church is a blast shield for all Christendom.
— Smitty (@smitty_one_each) March 13, 2013
Politics is politics, and faith is faith, and the latter is orders of magnitude more important. Thus, it is good to rejoice with Roman Catholics on this day, and pray for solidarity in the cause of Christ.
From Wikipedia:
As Cardinal, Bergoglio became known for personal humility, doctrinal conservatism and a commitment to social justice. A simple lifestyle contributed to his reputation for humility. He lived in a small apartment, rather than in the palatial bishop’s residence. He gave up his chauffeured limousine in favor of public transportation,[3] and he reportedly cooked his own meals.
It will be interesting to see what “social justice” means in the Papal context.
*I’m so lost in the Baptist weeds I don’t even count myself a Protestant
