She’s Fat, Blame Patriarchy

Emily Ward is a chubby 23-year-old Democrat feminist who hates men, Republicans and heterosexuality, not necessarily in that order. She is the kind of girl who thinks it is a profound achievement to “come to this understanding” that she’s bisexual her senior year at Michigan State. Except this is “bisexual” as a synonym for fat, lonely and desperate, not the stylishly decadent doing-coke-with-models-during-Fashion-Week kind of bisexual. While I am strongly opposed to sexual immorality, if you’re going to be a degenerate, you don’t want to do it with obese state university girls. No — get yourself to Miami or Hollywood or the French Riviera and indulge your sinful lust with glamorous deviants, or else don’t bother. Fat chicks from MSU are not worth going to Hell for.

Being “bisexual” gives Emily Ward an excuse to celebrate Gay Pride, but in practice this just means doubling her chances of being rejected. Men don’t like her, but women don’t like her much (not that way) so it’s not even improving her chances of going to Hell, either. Anyway, she hates Republicans, which gives her life some sense of purpose, and so Emily Ward and her friends protested Saturday in Chicago:

 

That’s Emily on the left, wearing a BuzzFeed “Failing Pile of Garbage” shirt and holding a sign with the slogan “Men’s Rights Is Nothing,” a line spoken by Amy Poehler’s character Leslie Knope in a February 2015 episode of the NBC series Parks and Rec. That line was considered a clever retort at a time when we were just a few months into the #GamerGate controversy and mere weeks after the Rolling Stone UVA rape hoax fell apart. In other words, feminists mocking their critics was a Hollywood laugh line in February 2015, but the joke had worn thin by the time the election rolled around in November 2016.

And that’s a capsule summary of what went wrong for Democrats, really. Sometime in late 2014, liberals decided that playing the “feminist” card was the best way to guarantee Hillary Clinton’s election in 2016. This meant that we spent two years being constantly bombarded with feminist messages — from TV sitcoms to cable-news documentaries to an endless outpouring of blog lectures from Amanda Marcotte, et al. Whatever the average American’s attitude toward feminism in early 2015, by November 2016 we’d heard the same messages repeated to the point of becoming a cliché: Everything a man might possibly say or do was wrong, because heteropatriarchy, “rape culture,” blah blah blah.

All this inchoate anti-male rage, of course, was ginned up out of nothing for strictly partisan purposes, to help elect Hillary Clinton.

Look, it’s like fat jokes, OK? If I occasionally make a fat joke, nobody cares. However, if I were to start throwing two or three fat jokes into every blog post, readers might object: “Hey, stop picking on fat people!”

Same deal with feminism. How many columns denouncing “rape culture” does any literate adult really need to read? Probably one or two would do, but during the past couple of years, feminists were cranking out scores of “rape culture” diatribes every week. In June 2014, George F. Will wrote a column that contained a couple of sentences that offended feminists, and from the reaction you would have thought that Will himself had been stalking college campuses and raping girls. With the repetitive intensity of  a voodoo zombie drumbeat — “rape! rape! rape!” —  the feminist tribe kept pounding away at the same theme, depicting all males as violent monsters on a 24/7 sexual rampage, and the only way to stop this merciless rape onslaught was to elect Hillary Clinton.

To which proposition the American people answered “no.”

No means no, as the feminists say, but having their candidate rejected by the electorate sent them into fits of rage. The message of Saturday’s “Women’s March” was, if you thought feminists were crazy before Trump became president, you have no idea how crazy they are now.

Ladies, the election is over. You lost.

Also you’re fat, but I don’t want to annoy readers with more fat jokes about you. Let ’em make their own jokes. That’s what comments are for.

 

Catholic Girls School Taught Bisexual Singer to Vote Democrat and Hate Men

Anti-American left-wing teachers at an all-girls Catholic school in Miami taught bisexual pop singer Lauren Jauregui the radical feminist beliefs that inspired her outspoken opposition to President Trump.

A member of the group Fifth Harmony, the 20-year-old Jauregui denounced Republican voters as “racist, homophobic, sexist, xenophobic, a–holes” in a November rant in which she compared Trump to Hitler and declared her pride in being “a bisexual Cuban-American woman.” In that Nov. 18 message, Jauregui specifically cited her attendance at an all-girls Catholic school in condemning Republicans as “narrow-minded” and “selfish.” Saturday, Jauregui attended the pro-abortion “Women’s March on Washington,” obscenely condemning “patriarchy.”

Jauregui’s anti-GOP hatred shocked many Republicans, who have historically received strong support from Florida’s Cuban-American community, most of whom fled Cuba to escape the totalitarian anti-America regime established by Communist dictator Fidel Castro. Among Trump’s leading rivals for the 2016 GOP nomination were Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, both sons of Cuban immigrants.

In an interview with the feminist web site Nylon published today, Jauregui defended federal funding for Planned Parenthood, America’s largest abortion provider, and credited her feminist politics to attending Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart in Miami:

“I attribute everything that I feel and all of the passion that I have to that school. It’s an all-girls school, and it was instilled in me to be a confident and courageous woman. . . . And each individual girl was told how special she was and how much she could influence the world.”

In recent decades, many Catholic schools have emphasized a far-left “social justice” agenda influenced by Marxist “liberation theology,” a radical anti-American ideology that condemns capitalism. The role played by feminism in subverting the Catholic faith was exposed in Donna Steichen’s 1991 book Ungodly Rage: The Hidden Face of Catholic Feminism. Despite opposition from orthodox laity and clergy, left-wing feminists and militant homosexuals have taken over many nominally Catholic universities, including such schools as Marquette University, where the Gender Studies program promotes “queer feminism” and the administration threatened to fire a conservative professor for supporting Catholic moral doctrines. Lauren Jauregui’s condemnation of “patriarchy” echoes the anti-male ideology of feminists like Janice Raymond, Elisabeth Schussler Fiorenza, and Mary Daly.

 

In her 1973 book Beyond God the Father, Professor Daly announced that “Christianity itself should be castrated,” describing “the Second Coming of female presence not only as Antichrist but also as Antichurch,” as a “rising woman-consciousness” destroying the “Christocentric cosmos” (see “The Radical Theology of Feminism”).

In her Nylon interview, Lauren Jauregui called the Trump administration “a fascist regime” and said there is “a lot of hatred in the heart of the country . . .because it was built on slavery.” She also claimed that anyone who opposes her feminist agenda hates women:

I think the whole stigma of the word feminism is such a problem. The only reason that anyone has an aversion to it is because it includes the word “fem,” even though it’s an all-inclusive term. I think that aversion in general is the reason why we need [feminism]. If the word “feminism” bothers you, there’s a reason why it bothers you, and only because it involves women. . . .
I think if I do anything political, it would be activism. I don’t believe in our government, currently. I don’t believe in the way that things are going.

Without any evident sense of irony, Jauregui praised her father, who “supported me 1,000 percent, all the way.” Her father paid to send her to the elite private girls’ school in Miami where annual tuition is $31,800 and she learned to support Marxism, abortion and homosexuality.



 

 

The #WomensMarch: Why Trump Won

Does that look like a mainstream political movement to you?

Ugly women holding up ugly signs expressing ugly sentiments — the #WomensMarch to protest Donald Trump’s presidency is perhaps the clearest explanation of why Donald Trump is president. The all-out feminist crusade mounted on behalf of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign reminded millions of Americans of why they hate feminism. Yet it is clear today that Democrats have learned nothing from their defeat:

Wearing pink, pointy-eared “pussyhats” to mock the new president, throngs of women descended on the nation’s capital and other cities around the globe Saturday for marches and demonstrations aimed at showing Donald Trump they won’t be silent over the next four years.
They carried signs with messages such as “Women won’t back down” and “Less fear more love” and decried Trump’s stand on such issues as abortion, diversity and climate change. . . .
The march attracted significant support from celebrities. America Ferrara led the artists’ contingent, and those scheduled to speak in Washington included Scarlett Johansson, Ashley Judd, Melissa Harris-Perry and Michael Moore. The promised performance lineup included Janelle Monae, Maxwell, Samantha Ronson, the Indigo Girls and Mary Chapin Carpenter. Cher, Katy Perry and Julianne Moore all were expected to attend.

Here’s a question: If “significant support from celebrities” has a political influence, then why is Hillary Clinton not president? Practically every celebrity in Hollywood lined up behind the Democrat candidate during the 2016 presidential election, but getting support from the rich and famous didn’t seem to help her win over working-class voters in Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, did it?

 

Oh. let’s talk about “such issues as abortion, diversity and climate change” — say the wealthy show-business names and the powerful Democrat politicians and the spoiled-rotten rich girls who go to private liberal arts colleges where they major in Gender Studies. And then Democrats wonder why honest hard-working people vote Republican:

Women who cheered President Donald Trump and danced at the inaugural balls in Washington on Friday said the Women’s March scheduled for Saturday has them baffled and indignant that one group would presume to speak for all women.
“I think it’s great, do your thing, but I just don’t know what they’re doing it for. They’re talking about rights, women’s rights, but what rights are being taken away from any women?” asked Susan Clarke, 50, who came to the capital from Charlotte, North Carolina, and wore a blue, bedazzled “Tar Heel Deplorable” shirt. “I don’t understand what the point is.” . . .
“They can protest, it’s their right, but don’t call it the ‘Women’s March,’ ” said Ellie Todd, 23, who drove to the inauguration with two friends from Spartanburg, South Carolina. “That makes it sounds like it’s a big unified thing, when really they’re picking very divisive issues and protesting against Trump — who by the way is now our president — instead of for something that would bring us all together. It’s not all women.”

Democrats still haven’t processed the cause of their defeat and let’s hope they never figure out why their political power has evaporated:

What do Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin have in common, other than being the swing states that flipped Donald Trump into the Presidency? All are among the many states in which Democrats lost control of their state legislature in the past decade. For Democrats, now at their lowest ebb in power since at least the 1920’s, the results of that loss in state-level influence have been both catastrophic and entirely predictable. . . .
Since 2008, Republicans have taken nine hundred legislative districts from Democrats, securing control not just in the South, where many voters oppose President Obama, but in such diverse locales as Michigan and Maine.

During the eight years when liberals were rallying around the symbol of Obama’s presidency, Republicans were quietly working state-by-state and district-by-district to organize conservative opposition. This was largely invisible to the liberal elite in New York, D.C., Boston, San Francisco and L.A., and on the campuses of universities where political discrimination prevents Republicans from being employed on the faculty. All the liberal journalists and progressive professors and Hollywood celebrities were so certain they were “on the right side of history,” they didn’t even notice that the Democrat Party had become increasingly irrelevant to the lives of millions of Americans who don’t live inside the liberal bubble.

Nowhere was this more evident than in the Democrat Party’s orchestrated propaganda campaign to popularize the Feminist™ brand. By summer 2014, it was apparent that a network of Democrat-funded tax-exempt groups was promoting a “feminist” message, especially targeted at college girls and 20-something millennials, in an effort aimed at making Hillary Clinton the “inevitable” Democrat presidential nominee for 2016.

 

 

 

A key component of this was White House-sponsored support for The Campus Rape Frenzy, to borrow the title of K.C. Johnson and Stuart Taylor Jr.’s new book. Rolling Stone‘s rape hoax at the University of Virginia originated as an attempt by the pro-Hillary media to give a semblance of reality to the bogus “1-in-5” statistic promoted by feminists and their Democrat allies. More than 100 male students filed lawsuits claiming they were falsely accused and denied due-process rights as a result of this dishonest “rape culture” campaign.

By using false propaganda to demonize males, Democrats hoped first to defeat any male candidate who challenged Hillary Clinton for her party’s nomination, and then to ride this “feminist” momentum to victory in the 2016 general election campaign. How did that work out, Jessica?

 

Feminists have not merely lost. They have deserved defeat. Now they’re so desperate, they’re trying to import foreigners to protest Trump:

Would-be protesters heading to the Women’s March on Washington have said they were denied entry to the United States after telling border agents at a land crossing in Quebec their plans to attend the march.
Montrealer Sasha Dyck was part of a group of eight who had arranged online to travel together to Washington. Divided into two cars, the group — six Canadians and two French nationals — arrived at the border crossing that connects St Bernard de Lacolle in Quebec with Champlain, New York, on Thursday.
The group was upfront about their plans with border agents, Dyck said. “We said we were going to the women’s march on Saturday and they said, ‘Well, you’re going to have to pull over’.”
What followed was a two-hour ordeal. Their cars were searched and their mobile phones examined. Each member of the group was fingerprinted and had their photo taken.
Border agents first told the two French citizens that they had been denied entry to the US and informed them that any future visit to the US would now require a visa.

Go back to Canada, you filthy scum. We’re making America great again.

Notice how (a) the anti-Trump protests are endorsed by the rich and famous, and (b) the violence of the anti-Trump mob attacking people in D.C. is depicted as a “clash” for which the victims of mob attack are made to seem equally responsible. Also (c) the violent mob getting pepper-sprayed by police is the headline, rather than the criminal activity of the mob which provoked this police crowd-control response.

The news media and the entertainment celebrities have chosen sides, and if any Trump supporters are injured as a result of the anti-Trump mob violence, the liberal elite will say, “They deserved it.”

Who is to blame for this unhinged left-wing madness?

The message drummed into the minds of students at America’s institutions of higher education is that all good people vote Democrat, and that anyone who votes Republican is a racist, sexist, homophobic ignoramus. This partisan prejudice accounts for the rage and despair reaction on campus to the election results.
You do not have to be a fan of Donald Trump to realize how absurdly unrealistic the academic reaction to the election has been. Some students actually seem to believe the partisan hype that depicts Trump’s election as a harbinger of incipient neo-fascism. There is no one on the faculty, apparently, who can explain to them that the Democrat propaganda churned out during the past presidential campaign was full of exaggeration and hyperbole. Aware that their candidate Hillary Clinton was widely unpopular among swing-state voters, Democrats resorted to fear-mongering rhetoric that depicted Hillary as The Last Hope to Save America From Republican/Nazi Trump/Hitler. . . .

The Worst People in America: Commie #DisruptJ20 Protests Led by Perverts

Democrats attract support from The Worst People in America — selfish and dishonest people, criminals and perverts — and not by coincidence. The Democrat Party’s policy agenda and rhetoric are deliberately designed to appeal to the worst impulses of the vile dregs of humanity:

Six days before Donald Trump’s inauguration, dozens of people — from college students to gray-haired hippies — gathered in a classroom at American University in Washington D.C. to listen a lawyer offer tips on how to handle getting arrested.
A woman in her late 30s raised her hand. She was worried that, since she’s a teacher, an arrest could get her fired and maybe hurt her chances at landing another job.
“We’ve had teachers get arrested,” the lawyer said. “It’s not the end of the world.” That’s likely reassuring, since for many of those in attendance, the kind of disruption that could end in arrest is the goal.
The morning’s legal training session was one of several classes offered by a group of anti-Trump activists calling themselves DisruptJ20 — “J20” standing for January 20. The event was a training camp of sorts for protesters aiming to “shut down” the nation’s capitol during president-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration on Friday. . . .
The activists have planned marches, permitted protests, and other unpermitted protests, including a 10 a.m. “anticapitalist march” on Logan Circle.
“Colorful disruptions will occur right at the Inaugural Parade Route,” DisruptJ20 organizer Lacy MaCauley said. DisruptJ20 organizers, she said, “have identified twelve checkpoints that participants will have to pass through in order to attend the inaugural festivities.”

Among the #DisruptJ20 activists is “Boy Love” advocate Luke Kuhn:

Yes, I support the right of young people to CHOOSE to be sexually active if they so desire. As I stated in my original posts on the subject, I started having sex by my own choice when I was 12. My partner was 15 or 16. He asked first, but I kept going back for more-and never, ever regretted it.

Luke Kuhn was one of the “Anti-Fascist” protesters captured on video by James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas, but in the late 1990s, Kuhn was notorious for advocating pedophilia to his anarchist allies:

Mr. Kuhn made the posts while a member of the Utopian Anarchist Party (UAP) during the late 1990’s. The Utopian Anarchist Party has been identified in other online postings as having links to international child pornography and child exploitation. . . .
A May 8, 2008 article from freerepublic.com listed Luke Kuhn as being a “well known radical” whose home was searched by the Washington D.C. police as part of an investigation into domestic terrorists.

Has anyone asked why American University is permitting anti-Trump protesters to use its classrooms for their organizing sessions? What do we know about the history of American University?

In 1990, American University’s president, Richard Berendzen, was calling day cares seeking sex with children when he contacted Susan Eva Allen; a mother operating a home-based day care whose husband was a detective with Fairfax County Police Department. A search warrant was obtained.
Susan Allen recorded more than 30 hours of conversation with Berendzen. He asked Susan Allen if “she and her husband included their children in sex” and begged to have sex with Susan Allen’s children. He told her he masturbated while talking with her and offered to procure a child for her to use as a “sex slave.”

Washington, D.C., is a wretched hive of scum and villainy:

Flying the rainbow LGBT banner, you see, permits progressive perverts to hide their agenda behind rhetoric of “diversity” and “tolerance,” which in turn allows Democrats to claim that you’re a “fascist” if you don’t want Luke Kuhn to have sex with your 12-year-old son. Democrat Party perverts are on every campus in the D.C. area:

Anti-Trump protesters disrupted multiple Georgetown classrooms last week in an effort to resist the presidency of Donald Trump.
Members of the RefuseFascism.org movement infiltrated classrooms across campus including the Reiss and ICC lecture halls, where they distributed flyers and denounced the President-elect. The individuals, who were not affiliated with Georgetown University, continued their protest in Red Square before being removed from campus by GUPD.Witnesses in Professor Arsenault’s International Relations class reported that two individuals pried open an exterior door and entered the ICC auditorium.
Harrison Nugent (SFS ’20) said that two men ran to the center aisle and passed out flyers, while bragging that they were the men who were arrested during Senator Jeff Sessions’ confirmation hearing.
The men proclaimed that they would not stop protesting until they “prevented fascism from entering the White House.” They urged students to rebuke the policies of Donald Trump and Mike Pence and to “join the fight against fascism” by participating in their protest.
In Professor Arsenault’s class, the protesters were forcibly removed by two teaching assistants, both of whom had prior military experience. The TAs grabbed the protesters and pulled them outside of the auditorium.
“This is what fascism will look like if we don’t act now,” the protesters shouted as they were removed from the room.

 

Why do you think these people want to smear the incoming Attorney General as a “fascist”? Are they afraid Jeff Sessions is going to crack down on pornography, prostitution and other favorite Democrat activities? There are reports that ex-Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta has been photographed meeting with #DisruptJ20, but for some reason the liberal media doesn’t want to pursue the story and connect the dots.



 

 

The Worst President in History

Barack Obama has made Bradley Manning the symbol of his disgraceful legacy.

Matt Margolis and Mark Noonan’s book The Worst President in History: The Legacy of Barack Obama should be required reading in America’s schools. The media are never going to admit the scope of failure — and beyond failure, deliberate destruction — that has characterized the eight-year reign of error that comes to an end tomorrow. Obama inflicted more damage on the nation this week by pardoning a Puerto Rican terrorist, Oscar Lopez Rivera, and commuting the sentence of the traitor Bradley “Chelsea” Manning. The extent of Manning’s damage to America’s interests is beyond calculation. Manning “knowingly and intentionally placed lives in danger by indiscriminately placing our nation’s secrets in the public domain,” as David French writes at National Review:

It’s not that long ago that actions like Manning’s would merit execution, and he should be grateful that he merely received a 35-year sentence. Instead, however, both the [New York] Times and the Obama administration treat him more like a messed-up kid than a soldier who betrayed his nation.

Every soldier in the Army has sworn an oath to follow orders. Military discipline cannot be maintained otherwise. The authority that the sergeant exercises over the privates in his squad, and the colonel’s authority over the soldiers in his regiment, is derived from that duty of obedience which extends all the way up to the Commander-in-Chief who, like every soldier, is sworn to an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution. Every soldier in the ranks is volunteer, a servant of the nation willing to die for his country, and our troops deserve a Commander-in-Chief who appreciates their service because he loves their country the way the soldier loves his country.

Bradley Manning disobeyed orders. He deliberately violated his oath. Every day, soldiers are punished for such violations. A failure to obey orders can be punished in many ways. Squads of soldiers are “smoked” — put through punitive physical training, made to run and do push-ups until they’re soaked in sweat and panting from exhaustion — because they have failed as a unit to meet their sergeant’s expectations. The good soldiers must sweat along with the bad soldiers, because combat troops must function as a unit, responding to orders, or else they will suffer defeat as a result of the failure to instill unit cohesion through proper discipline.

 

Bradley Manning did more than merely fail. He betrayed his country. The very fact that someone like Bradley Manning was deployed to Iraq, as a member of a military intelligence unit, speaks volumes about the Obama administration’s disregard for America’s national security.

In his Bible Belt hometown that he once mockingly wrote in an e-mail had “more pews than people,” Private Manning refused to recite the parts of the Pledge of Allegiance that referred to God or do homework assignments that involved the Scriptures. And if a teacher challenged his views, former classmates said, he was quick to push back.
“He would get upset, slam books on the desk if people wouldn’t listen to him or understand his point of view,” said Chera Moore, who attended elementary and junior high school with him. “He would get really mad, and the teacher would say, ‘O.K., Bradley, get out.’ ” . . .
He enlisted in the Army in 2007, to try to give his life some direction and to help to pay for college, friends said. . . .
He was granted a security clearance and trained as an intelligence analyst at Fort Huachuca, Ariz., before being assigned to the Second Brigade 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, N.Y.
Before being deployed to Iraq, Private Manning met Tyler Watkins, who described himself on his blog as a classical musician, singer and drag queen. A friend said the two had little in common, but Private Manning fell head over heels. Mr. Watkins, who did not respond to interview requests for this article, was a student at Brandeis University. On trips to visit him here in Cambridge, Private Manning got to know many in Mr. Watkins’ wide network of friends, including some who were part of this university town’s tight-knit hacker community.

The apprehension of Bradley Manning should have prompted a massive investigation at the Pentagon to ascertain what kind of lapses in training — and laxity in personnel policy — had resulted in the failure to drum that worthless cowardly son of a bitch out of the Army long before he could have had a chance to betray his country. One of the obvious sources of the problem was that, as a result of the long war in Iraq, the military lowered its standards and by 2007 was accepting recruits who should have been rejected for service. Another source of the problem could be traced back to the Clinton administration’s misguided 1993 decision to abrogate the Uniform Code of Military Justice, resulting in the so-called “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy. Democrats hate the American military, and whenever a Democrat is in the White House, our troops are subjected to absurd social-engineering experiments that undermine unit discipline and morale, so that when Republican presidents take office, they must try to undo the damage done by their predecessors. Because 9/11 happened so shortly after George W. Bush became president, however, the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq were fought without having fixed the problems created by the eight years of Bill Clinton’s anti-military policy.

Now, President Trump will take over as Commander-in-Chief of a military that has been under the perfidious command of anti-American Democrat presidents for 16 of the past 24 years. Our new president’s promise to “Make America Great Again” will first require him to fix the problems at the Pentagon which allowed Bradley Manning to wear an Army uniform long enough to betray his country by violating his oath:

President Obama defended his decision to commute the remainder of Chelsea Manning’s sentence during his final press conference as President on Wednesday, arguing that she’d done enough time already.
“Given she went to trial, that due process was carried out, that she took responsibility for her crime, that the sentence that she received was very disproportionate relative to what other leakers had received, and that she had served a significant amount of time, that it made sense to commute, and not pardon, her sentence,” he said of the woman who as a private leaked hundreds of thousands of classified documents to WikiLeaks. “I feel very comfortable that justice has been served and a message has still been sent.”

No, sir, a firing squad would have been the proper “message” for Manning, and by commuting the sentence of this traitor, Barack Obama has permanently secured his legacy as The Worst President in History.



 

Blame @CNN: Liberals Becoming Unhinged as Trump Inauguration Nears

Let’s face it: The typical liberal’s grasp on reality is always a tenuous matter, but subjected to 24/7 anti-Trump propaganda by CNN and other liberal media organizations, some Democrat voters have completely lost their grip as the President-elect’s inauguration approaches:

A protester set himself on fire outside Trump International Hotel in Washington DC on Tuesday.
The 45-year-old man, who has not yet been identified, said the act was in protest of the President-elect’s looming inauguration.
Witnesses described how he yelled ‘Trump’ several times as ‘flames ran up his back’ before lying down in the street.
He suffered non-life-threatening burns and was taken to hospital shortly after the incident at around 9.30pm. . . .
‘(I’m protesting) the fact that we’ve elected somebody who is completely incapable of respecting the Constitution of the United States.’
The man, who said he was from California, suffered third-degree burns on 10 percent of his body, according to the Washington Post.
He had used a lighter and accelerant to start the fire.

Typical Democrat voter — a pathetic loser who can’t even succeed at burning himself to death. Meanwhile, in Miami:

A South Florida man has been charged with threatening to kill President-elect Donald Trump in a video posted online.
A Miami Beach police report released Wednesday identified the suspect as 51-year-old Dominic Puopolo. Jail records show Puopolo is being held without bail on state charges of threatening harm against a public servant. Court records do not list a lawyer for him.
The police report says Puopolo on Monday posted a video on his Twitter account stating that he would “be at the review/inauguration and I will kill President Trump, President-elect Trump” while in Washington.
The report says he was arrested a short time later at a Miami Beach Subway restaurant and admitted to officers he had posted the threatening video. Police say Puopolo told them he is homeless.

He’s homeless, so he’s got plenty of time to record anti-Trump videos and post them to Twitter. Are police sure this guy’s name isn’t Jim Acosta?

She’s a 76-year-old white woman whose father was the boss of the corrupt Democrat machine in Baltimore during the segregation era, and being married to a multimillionaire California real-estate investor, she’s one of the top 10 richest members of Congress. Democrats in Congress couldn’t have picked a more out-of-touch leader if they had tried. The geriatric liberal, whose political beliefs are like a fossil of the 1988 Dukakis campaign, apparently cannot understand why Democrats keep losing.

In 2010, Pelosi insisted on ramming ObamaCare through Congress: “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.” Eight months later, in the 2010 midterm elections, Republicans scored their biggest congressional gains since 1938. Four years later, Democrats lost the Senate, and their losses have been even worse at the state level.

“Republicans are now in control of a record 67 (68 percent) of the 98 partisan state legislative chambers in the nation,” as Barbara Hollingsworth reported. “In 24 of the 32 states with Republican-controlled legislatures, voters have also elected Republican governors.”

Pelosi can’t seem to grasp why her party has become so unpopular, and instead resorts to scapegoating rationalizations:

While giving a press briefing to reporters, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) called the GOP’s push to defund the taxpayer funded Planned Parenthood a “manhood thing.”
During her press briefing, Pelosi fielding questions about Republican plans to dismantle the Affordable Care Act and remove taxpayer funding for abortion provider Planned Parenthood.
At the end of her remarks, Pelosi said, “Let me end on this note. Of all the things that they could be doing in a reconciliation bill — job creation, deficit reduction — no, forget that. What are they doing in this bill? Overturning the Affordable Care Act, undermining the health security and financial stability of America’s working families, and defunding Planned Parenthood. That’s their — that’s their manhood thing,” Pelosi said while shaking her hands.
“You know, defunding Planned Parenthood. How can they establish that as a priority unless they’re coming at all of this from a very ideological stand-point?” she asked.

Here, Ms. Pelosi, let me explain briefly: Planned Parenthood is America’s largest abortion provider. Many millions of Americans (who, not coincidentally, are eligible to vote) believe that abortion is morally wrong and should be illegal. However, even if you aren’t in favor of outlawing abortion, you may not think that giving federal taxpayer money to Planned Parenthood is a good idea. To repeat something that I keep saying, but which no Democrat seems capable of understanding: The national debt is now approaching $20 trillion — that’s trillion with a “T,” meaning $20,000,000,000,000 — and interest payments on the national debt cost $223 billion, or 6 percent of the federal budget, in 2015. So for every dollar the IRS collects from taxpayers, only 94 cents is available for current needs, and the annual budget deficit in fiscal year 2015 was $439 billion out of $3.7 trillion.

When you have a budget deficit of more than $400 billion, why spend half a billion dollars annually to fund Planned Parenthood, an organization whose business is about killing future taxpayers? Also, Planned Parenthood is a major donor to the Democrat Party, and why should Republicans in Congress give money to their worst enemies?

Despite the spectacular failure of ObamaCare, which has driven up health insurance premiums everywhere, Nancy Pelosi still can’t understand why anyone would want to repeal ObamaCare, and her propaganda phrase, “America’s working families,” is the exact opposite of reality. “Working families” — married people with jobs — generally had health insurance before ObamaCare was enacted, and have found themselves paying higher premiums because of the mandates imposed by ObamaCare.

ObamaCare wasn’t about “working families,” it was about mandating and subsidizing coverage for the kind of people who don’t have jobs or don’t have families, i.e., the typical Democrat voter. Republicans officials may not be rude enough to actually say this, but the people who vote Republican are not so stupid they can’t figure it out. What were Democrats really talking about when they invoked “pre-existing conditions” as an urgent cause to change our healthcare system? AIDS? Hepatitis? Cocaine addiction? “Gender dysphoria”?

During the first four years of the Obama administration, the government added nearly 6 million new recipients of federal SSI disability payments, more than doubling the number on the disability lists, while workforce participation rates fell to the lowest in American history. Democrats see nothing wrong with this, because moochers and malingerers tend to vote Democrat, whereas taxpayers with jobs tend to vote Republican.

Like I said, voters aren’t nearly as stupid as Nancy Pelosi assume them to be, and Democrats being the Baby-Killing Welfare Moocher Party is the fundamental cause of Donald Trump’s election. Yet the failure of the Democrat agenda, both as policy and as politics, is not something that the party’s elderly liberal leadership can admit, and therefore Pelosi is compelled by her partisanship to offer scapegoating rationalizations and counterfactual explanations, including blaming George W. Bush (who left the White House eight years ago) for the federal deficit under Obama.

You have failed, Ms. Pelosi. You have lost. You are personally responsible for the Democrat Party’s decline into political irrelevance.
