Lisa Bonos (@lisabonos) has published a column headlined “How to find a feminist boyfriend” that reads like an Onion parody:

“I find it really attractive how successful you are,” my date said, leaning in for a kiss.
Sure, it sounds like a line. But it also sounds like feminism. . . .

(No, it’s a line. Trust me.)

[W]hat I want a partner to be: cute, smart, funny and … yes, feminist. So go ahead, alert Susan Patton, Lori Gottlieb and the rest of the get-married-already crowd: A 30-something single woman, eggs unfrozen, is telling other single women that they should dare to want it all if they ever hope to have it all. . . .

(Hint: If you’re a “30-something single woman,” you’ll be lucky if you get to have any of it, much less “have it all.”)

But how do you spot a male feminist if he’s not at an abortion rights rally wearing a “This Is What a Feminist Looks Like” T-shirt?
It shouldn’t be hard. After all, as Aziz Ansari said on David Letterman’s show recently, everyone’s a feminist now. Unless you think Beyonce shouldn’t have the right to vote, should earn 23 percent less than Jay-Z and should be at home cooking rather than performing. And who would think that?
Few guys will proudly say no when asked if they’re feminists. . . .

(Few guys who want to sleep with Lisa Bonos would say that, perhaps, but exactly how many guys want to sleep with Lisa Bonos?)

Instead it’s a wholehearted yes, a lukewarm maybe or Can you define what you mean by “feminist,” please? . . .

(In some cases, it means “lonely bisexual English major.”)

Here’s how I’m defining it: Feminist daters — male or female, gay or straight — aren’t constrained by gender roles. Anyone can do the asking-out, the feelings-confessing or the initiating of any kind. . . .

(Perhaps you see why bisexual English majors are so often lonely.)

A feminist dater or boyfriend (and yes, feminists have boyfriends) is aware of the ways women have traditionally been held back, by others and by our own accord, and actively pushes against that. He’s sensitive to the fact that women’s bodies are frequently judged, abused and legislated, and takes no part in that. He gets it. . . .

You can read the rest and “get it.” It’s really a Craigslist ad disguised as an op-ed column, a pseudo-defiant gesture typical of certain women who have wasted their 20s in a series of going-nowhere “relationships.” On Twitter, Kyle Smith offers an alternate headline:

Maybe I’ll come back with more snark later, but this column is just such a motherlode of nonsense, it needs a special touch.

Three Home Invaders Shot After Trying to Rape Man’s 19-Year-Old Granddaughter

Armed self-defense in North Carolina:

A Lumberton man traded gunfire with three men who forced their way into his home, robbed the family, tried to rape his granddaughter and stole his car Monday, Robeson County authorities said.
One of the men, identified as Jamie Faison, 20, was shot and found dead in the stolen Cadillac parked at his home on the 600 block of Singletary Church Road, Sheriff Kenneth Sealey said in a news release.
The two other men turned up at area hospitals with gunshot wounds.
The homeowner, Kenneth Byrd, 67, was shot multiple times, the release said.
Authorities received a call about 10 p.m. that someone had been shot at a home on the 100 block of Yedda Road, east of Lumberton.
Deputies responded and found Byrd, his wife, Judy, 65, and his 19-year-old granddaughter at the home.
The family told them that a man came to the door and said he was having problems with his vehicle and needed water.
Two men wearing black clothing, ski masks and gloves forced their way into the home and demanded money, Sealey said.
All three of the men had guns.
The Byrds were pushed to the back of their home and instructed to open a safe.
When the men tried to rape the couple’s granddaughter, Byrd grabbed a gun and exchanged shots with the assailants, Sealey said. . . .
Later, the Sheriff’s Office was notified that two people who had been shot came to McLeod Medical Center in Dillon, South Carolina. . . .
The Sheriff’s Office identified them as Brandon Carver Stephens, 28, whose last known address was N.C. 130 East in Fairmont, and Jamar Hawkins, 17, of Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton.

Feminists had no comment, as these would-be rapists were not members of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity.

Occasionally, I amuse myself by searching for certain feminist jargon terms on Twitter and RT’ing the wacky results. The jargon of feminism is a way for misfits to normalize their own insanity. That is to say, feminists look at the lives of normal human beings and see oppression. It is wrong for us to be normal, happy and successful, feminists believe, because our happiness and success are obviously the cause of their misery and failure. A few examples should suffice to demonstrate how this operates.

You see that it is wrong, according to feminists, for males to be masculine, for females to be feminine, and for heterosexuality to be assumed as a natural and socially desirable pattern of behavior. Therefore, the weirdos and freaks have invented a special vocabulary used to suggest that the normal beliefs and attitudes of normal people are a type of hateful prejudice. This feminist propaganda tactic has the effect of stigmatizing normal behavior while celebrating deviant behavior as a courageous resistance to social prejudice.

Do not be deceived by this propaganda. It is a species of evil, a lie akin to “Ye shall not surely die . . . ye shall be as gods.”

Ex-Teenage Hooker Says She Was Forced to Have Sex With British Royalty

Let’s make a few things clear at the outset:

  1. Jeffrey Epstein is disgusting scum;
  2. British royalty are disgusting scum;
    and
  3. I do not approve of prostitution.

These disclaimers are necessary because brutal sarcasm is considered inappropriate when reporting weird stories like this:

A woman who claims that an American investment banker loaned her to rich and powerful friends as an underage “sex slave” has alleged in a US court document that she was repeatedly forced to have sexual relations with Prince Andrew.
The accusation against the Duke of York is contained in a motion filed in a Florida court this week in connection with a long-running lawsuit brought by women who say they were exploited by Jeffrey Epstein, a multi-millionaire convicted of soliciting sex with an underage girl after a plea deal. . . .
The woman, who filed the motion anonymously, alleges that between 1999 and 2002 she was repeatedly sexually abused by Epstein who, she also alleges, loaned her out to rich and influential men around the world.
The document — a motion to expand an ongoing lawsuit relating to prosecutors’ handling of Epstein’s case with two new plaintiffs — alleges that the woman “was forced to have sexual relations with this prince when she was a minor” in London, New York and on a private Caribbean island owned by Epstein.
The woman is said to have been 17 at the time, considered to be a minor in Florida.

As previously mentioned, I do not approve of prostitution, but if a teenage hooker is going to get pimped out, I’m not sure that having a wealthy investment banker as her pimp and Prince Andrew as one of her johns is the worst-case scenario. There are lots of teenage hookers who have it worse, turning tricks with slimy creeps in cheap motels and handing over all their money to some thug whose “job” is to keep her supplied with drugs and slap her around if she gets out of line.

For the typical whore, there are no private jets, no Caribbean islands, and she never turns any tricks with European royalty.

Did I mention that Jeffrey Epstein is disgusting scum? Did I mention that Epstein is an associate of known perjurer Bill Clinton?

Because maybe you forgot that Clinton, who was accused of raping Juanita Broaddrick, reportedly took “multiple trips to the onetime billionaire [Epstein]’s private island in the Caribbean where underage girls were allegedly kept as sex slaves.”

None of the underage sex slaves have said they got boned by Bill Clinton, although at least one of them says she got boned by former Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz. He denies this accusation, because no Harvard Law professor would be stupid enough to admit boning an underage sex slave on a billionaire’s private Caribbean island.

These people are disgusting scum, and at least one of them is a Democrat, but then again, all Democrats are disgusting scum. It’s important that we denounce them as the scum they are, and readers will please excuse me if my denunciation is expressed as brutal sarcasm, but that’s what I get paid for. Brutal sarcasm is less lucrative than being an investment banker or a Harvard Law professor, however, so it’s unlikely I’ll be traveling to a Caribbean island anytime soon, unless you guys start hitting the tip jar and urging me to do some investigative reporting on the sex slave racket down there. Until then, sarcasm is all I’ve got.

Seven 2015 Predictions

I don’t know how much insulin Stacy is going to need to recover from the Sugar Bowl–he could be in shock for a while. I predict he’ll root for Oregon with me on the 12th, vengeful bloke that he is. We’ll savor Boehner’s tears for the Buckeyes together.

The NRO has a lengthy list of predictions for 2015. Let me bat cleanup on a few points I didn’t see covered:

  1. Oil prices remain depressed, taking the world economy to the edge of instability. Russia, Iran, China, Venezuela–fertilizer decorates global air circulators. Baleful Barack brings bronze bollocks; Tsar Putin triumphantly treads titanium testicle territory.
  2. Gruber, the ongoing ObamaCare implosion, and  old-fashioned shame cause Chief Justice Roberts to rule judiciously on King v. Burwell. The pearl-clutching, couch-fainting, and sheer epileptic hysteria of the Left reaches geosynchronous orbit. And then the hyperbole kicks in.
  3. The Republican Congress, in the most boring way possible, offers some useful health care reforms. The no-talent rodeo clown takes a break on the putting green and signs the legislation without speech or personal pronouns. The veto pen weeps ink everywhere. The weeping turns into a fountain when the GOP actually carries out the Congressional task of producing 2016’s spending legislation in a timely fashion. Recidivists.
  4. Her Majesty Hillary Rodham Clinton serves up a triple paradox, simultaneously:
    • The only one with the depth of experience needed to un-frack the Impatient Nonprotection & Unaffordable Carelessness Act,
    • The victim of #OccupyResoluteDesk’s foreign policy Hamlet impression during her tenure as  Secretary of State, and
    • This totally reborn, fresh grandmotherly face whose you’d cheerfully vote for you if you appreciate your private property and wouldn’t it be a shame if something tragic were to occur to yours so just  keep that in mind next year you wretched little peasant scum you know she’s been scheming since Watergate to be the first woman president and if you think that she’s isn’t cashing in her chips after letting that little creep from Hawaii win in 2008 then it may be time for a little “Foster” care for you if you know what I mean and I think you do.
  5. Jeb Bush hovers comfortably around 95% committed to running for POTUS. The base will continue to be all “Meh”. More inspirational Governors and Senators will patiently wait in the wings while the Vichy GOP gazes at its navel, pondering whether a re-run of 1992 in 2016 will be its final Whig moment. Sarah Palin offers to play Perot in pumps.
  6. Having closed out 2014 with agitation on Amnesty and Cuba, BHO keeps the hits coming, with executive actions on global anthropogenic climate warming change chaos. It’s really all a desperate, masochistic plea for impeachment, but sadistic Republicans say “No.” The GOP won’t take the bait unless the proximal cause is so obvious that even Debbie Wasserman-Schultz can’t equivocate, but everyone knows DWS outsources her integrity to Lena Dunham and Rolling Stone.
  7. China decides its had enough fannying about and gobbles up Taiwan. Americans are all “Formosa, what?” until they realize that this could mean an interruption in shipments of new ‘Droid- and iPhones, with results clocking in somewhere around here:
